The Valley S3 E17 Recap: Divorce Papers, Therapy & Zach's Baby Dilemma

Summary: The Valley – Season 3, Episode 17: "Guilt Tripping"

Relationships are tested from every angle as The Valley heads toward its season finale. While some couples celebrate new beginnings, others struggle with life-changing decisions, lingering resentment, and emotional trauma.

Tom Schwartz surprises girlfriend Kiarna on her birthday with a key to his condo, signaling their relationship is becoming more serious. Meanwhile, Michelle and Jesse officially sign their divorce papers, ending their marriage on good terms while committing to peacefully co-parenting Isabella. Schwartz joins the exes in celebrating the close of one chapter and the start of another.

Elsewhere, Zach and Benji face a major crossroads after meeting with an immigration attorney. Benji suggests marriage could speed up the green card process, but Zach admits he's still unsure about having children. Benji makes it clear that becoming a parent is non-negotiable, leaving Zach questioning whether they're truly compatible.

Fresh off judging Miss USA, Nia returns home feeling refreshed and inspired by the empowering experience. She shares with Danny how much the supportive environment helped her reset mentally.

Kristen and Luke attend couples therapy, where they openly discuss the emotional challenges they've faced since welcoming their baby. Kristen admits she spirals whenever Luke leaves the house, while Luke reveals he struggled with depression during the past year. They also revisit hurtful comments made during their Mexico trip as they work toward understanding each other.

On a tiki boat outing, Michelle, Lala, Schwartz and Kiarna discuss Janet's unresolved trauma after Schwartz reveals that Danny dismissed Janet's feelings during a conversation with the guys. Lala and Michelle are frustrated that Janet's emotional struggles continue to be minimized.

Drama escalates during Janet's Chili's lunch, where Zach defends Danny for repeatedly apologizing over his past behavior while accusing Janet of demanding grace she hasn't extended to others. Brittany and Zach clash over the issue before Zach storms off, leading to an awkward bathroom exit.

Later, Brittany prepares for her mommy makeover photo shoot while reflecting on the difficult year following her separation. Kristen joins Brittany and Lala, revealing she doesn't miss having Janet in her life and accusing Nia of guilt-tripping Zach over maintaining friendships with both sides.

Lala later visits Kristen to encourage her to consider Janet's unresolved trauma before judging her too harshly. While Kristen sympathizes with anyone experiencing trauma, she insists Janet's past doesn't excuse the breakdown of their friendship.

The episode ends by teasing an explosive Halloween party in next week's Season 3 finale.

Kelli (00:01.154)
Hi, welcome to We Wine Whenever, I'm Kelly.

Wendy (00:04.162)
Wendy.

Kelli (00:05.88)
Tonight we're talking about the Valley season three, episode seventeen, Guilt Tripping. I cannot believe it's seventeen episodes, but thank you, Jesus. They did announce at the end of this episode that next week is the season finale.

Wendy (00:23.318)
Yes. Which is exciting.

Kelli (00:25.474)
so exciting. Before we start, I'd like to ask you to please go to our YouTube and subscribe and go to Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and follow. And five-star reviews if you would please. And please comment and engage because we love that, even if you disagree with us. The I did see a comment this week and somebody said, why do these

Wendy (00:45.582)
Yes, we do.

Kelli (00:51.988)
horrible women keeps coming up on my feed or something like that. So I went back and I said things you can do unfollow, block, unsubscribe. Do what you need to do, sweetie.

Wendy (01:02.434)
Ha ha ha.

Kelli (01:11.47)
So hopefully she'll take that advice.

so we start out with Schwartzi's apartment and he has a birthday cake for Kiana and it looks like he's giving her a key to his apartment.

Wendy (01:27.256)
Yes, he is.

Kelli (01:29.218)
Big move. Then we see Michelle is showing a beautiful home. that was that was some view, right?

Wendy (01:36.437)
Yes.

Wendy (01:42.188)
Listed for seven point eight million.

Kelli (01:45.078)
Yeah, it it made me miss Million Dollar Listing LA, quite honestly. I miss that show very much. I followed I forget what it's called on YouTube, but Tracy Tudor and Josh Flagg have some it's not like full episodes, I don't think, like just clips, but I followed that just because I really I really miss it and I miss Josh Altman too.

Wendy (01:50.242)
I do miss that show. I did like that show.

Wendy (02:05.526)
Right.

Wendy (02:11.542)
Yeah. Yeah.

Kelli (02:16.089)
Zach and Benji are having coffee and they met with an immigration attorney. And Benji says he feels like his life is on hold and he isn't working, so he can't even save money for surrogacy. Zach says if they get married, it would speed up the immigration process, but he doesn't want to get married and change his mind about kids. And Benji wants a hard deadline, basically, to start the surrogacy process.

Zach asks for a year and Benji says that's too long and kids are non negotiable.

Wendy (02:49.41)
blame him. I mean a year to make a decision? I don't blame him. I mean they've been together how many years at this point? Either you want kids or you don't. Like I think Benji he wants to move on with his life. If like if if it Zach doesn't want kids, then he's gonna have to move on.

Kelli (02:59.455)
I feel like

Kelli (03:10.047)
I feel like having kids is a huge decision, obviously. Some people, you know, are blindsided and it's a surprise. And listen, a baby is never a mistake, ever, ever, ever. and you adapt, but I think if you're gonna go into it with a conscious decision, I feel like a year, because Zach's pretty young, isn't he? Like, is he in his thirties yet?

Wendy (03:38.392)
Think so. yeah, yes, he's definitely in his thirties. Yeah.

Kelli (03:41.57)
Yeah, he's in his thirties. I mean, one one year, I'd say. Give it one year. But listen, if it's a if if that's too long for Benji, that's too long for Benji. I think I think Zach is in a position where he's the one that's gonna have to make the compromise here, not Benji. I don't think Benji thinks he needs to make any compromise. Although Benji Benji's ass could get sent back to Canada, so he might want to reconsider that compromise.

Wendy (04:08.712)
Yeah, and you know, that's just so he can work, right? Because that's the problem is he can't get the work visa thing. That's what's the problem. Yeah.

Kelli (04:16.115)
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

Nia gets home from her judging gig and she says she loved it. And it was a breath of fresh air to be around positive women, you know, women uplifting women. And Nia tells Danny that she felt really good to be around women who were supportive of each other, and she obviously doesn't experience that in this group. She says outside of Mexico, she likes La La.

but obviously that was a different experience for her. And now they have Britney's Halloween party coming up and Danny's basically saying he doesn't know who he trusts in the group. Which I I mean, I don't I I feel like he knows who he can trust. He could trust Kristen and Luke and he can trust Jesse and Lacey. And I feel like he can trust Zach as well, even though they like to say Zach is a flip flopper. I think Zach is doing the best Zack can right now.

Wendy (05:07.49)
Yes. Yes.

Wendy (05:16.94)
I agree. And I looked it up, Zach is thirty nine.

Kelli (05:20.491)
Whoa. All right, Zach. It thirty nine?

Wendy (05:23.052)
Yeah. Yep. Thirty nine.

Kelli (05:29.353)
Am I just so old that he looks so much younger than thirty nine to me? He looks like he's in his early to mid thirties, like for sure.

Wendy (05:35.928)
Yep, he is.

And in October he will be forty. He's almost forty.

Kelli (05:43.883)
I can't believe these people are like turning forty or in their forties.

Wendy (05:49.39)
I'm gonna see how old Benji is. How old do you think? What's your guess on Benji?

Kelli (05:54.603)
Well, he's definitely older, right? He's probably forty five.

Wendy (05:58.307)
You think he's definitely older?

Kelli (06:00.748)
I think he's older than Zach. Not that he looks it, but I don't think Zack looks thirty nine.

Wendy (06:06.306)
We don't have a we don't have a a confirmed birth date from about Benji, so we don't know.

Kelli (06:12.268)
Man, how'd Benji get that unlocked?

Wendy (06:15.096)
Mm.

Kelli (06:17.048)
So then we see then we see Michelle goes to Jesse's house. this was great. She asks for tea and Jesse says there's honey, but not kilo honey. I I'm sorry. Was this guy's Aaron's business name Kilo Honey? Like, did anybody miss the fact that this guy does this guy does cocaine? His dog and his company are named Kilo.

Wendy (06:43.032)
A little strange, right? He did say that.

Kelli (06:46.348)
I mean my God They're signing the divorce and custody papers and Jesse says it takes two seconds to get a marriage license and it took two years to get divorced. Ain't that facts?

Wendy (06:49.718)
I don't know

Wendy (06:59.412)
I know, I know. I actually love this scene with the two of them. I thought Jesse was so reflective. I thought he was so kind. I really honestly I really enjoyed this whole scene with the two of them.

Kelli (07:02.28)
Kelli (07:08.131)
Yeah.

Kelli (07:12.728)
Both of them, honestly, I I think that they both showed each other a lot of grace and it's just so nice that they can be

Wendy (07:14.528)
Yeah.

Kelli (07:24.31)
in this in this place with each other, especially for Isabella. So Jesse says they will always be family because of Isabella. They're gonna have champagne to celebrate, but not really celebrate. And Jesse says it's a new chapter and they're together forever because of Isabella. So you know me given the week I had, I was crying like a baby during this.

Wendy (07:27.331)
Yeah.

Wendy (07:49.315)
I love that he said he has the plastic box with all the cards and all the memories. like that is so sweet. And then they show us like all these pictures and photos throughout the year. Which which is what we said. Like they they seem like, you know, they were a happy couple. I'm sure that there was love there. And that's what they say Isabella was created from was the love. And I love it. I love it. I love it.

Kelli (08:14.254)
Yeah.

Wendy (08:15.49)
They're like the most improved couple. Which honestly on these shows you don't you right, you don't normally see that, especially with a couple divorcing. Like they they've just Right, right. Yeah.

Kelli (08:17.964)
one hundred percent most improved.

Kelli (08:24.538)
Not with cameras in their face. Not with cameras in their face. But this is why I was crying. So I think it is so amazing that he has that for Isabella. Now, my parents are divorced, as you know. They've been divorced a very long time. My mother is remarried. My father has had a lovely girlfriend for 12 plus years. They're both very happy with their new people. And

my mom and her husband are cleaning out the house. So I was just gifted a bin of pictures f of my parents, their wedding album, and letters that my father sent to my mother while he was in Vietnam.

Wendy (09:07.671)
wow.

Kelli (09:09.002)
And Tessa and I started reading them. It's priceless. It's just priceless. Now I was twenty five when my parents got divorced. So much different situation than Isabella. I knew my parents married. I knew that at one point they were in love and I saw them together. You know, whatever happened, happened. Isabella's never gonna see that. So this this been for her. I mean, the fact that Jesse thought enough to do that is is really amazing. Amazing. Yeah.

Wendy (09:13.334)
Yes, that is priceless.

Wendy (09:32.113)
my gosh.

Wendy (09:36.384)
It is amazing. It is, that is amazing.

Kelli (09:40.344)
Yeah. I didn't love this. Tom, Lala, Michelle, and Kiana are on a tiki boat. You know, they have those around here where we can just we should do that. And

Wendy (09:48.631)
No. I know they do. Yeah. I feel like we're too old. Honestly, I feel like we're too old. I do.

Kelli (09:56.291)
We might be too old for that. but we do have to do our girls dinner this week for your birthday that we never did. At that place that you said Yeah, yeah, yeah, we're gonna do that. Michelle says that she's divorced and Lala says, I love that for you.

Wendy (10:03.18)
I would like to do that. Okay.

Kelli (10:13.9)
Of course you do, Lala. You don't like any heterosexual relationship to last because you have a bad picker. Yep, you're a man hater. Michelle says she's going on a date with Max and he's a famous comedian, so I really like want to look this guy up. He's a client he was a client of hers and she's so ready to date and I do love I do love this for her.

Wendy (10:20.366)
She's a man hater. She's a man hater man hater.

Wendy (10:37.75)
I do too. I do too.

Kelli (10:40.474)
Tom brings up Janet's past trauma and says that I didn't I didn't love that. This is what I didn't love about it. That Danny and Luke doubted things. And then he says

that he told Kristen at lunch and she wasn't empathetic

Kelli (11:04.138)
either. Okay, I'm so sorry. I'm just you know you know I get text messages constantly while we're doing this and I normally

Don't check, but Melissa my hu my son works at La Mandina in Brielle and he just texts us. There's a table of eight and Melissa and Joe Gorga are there. My son loves

Wendy (11:30.924)
my god. Do they have a bar? Do they have a bar at La Mondina that we can go sit at?

Kelli (11:40.131)
They do. I'm gonna ask him now, are there seats at the bar? We might be cutting this this podcast short, people. I'm so sorry. I don't normally look, but Tess just Tess was just knocking on my door and then text me, check your phone. so anyway. Okay, so Tom brings up Janet's past trauma and says that Danny and Luke doubted things and then Kristen at lunch wasn't empathetic either. I don't love that Schwartzy did this, but I see what he's doing.

Wendy (11:56.975)
That's so funny.

Kelli (12:09.186)
Lala says she just learned about what happened to Janet and she's very disappointed in Kristen.

Kelli (12:16.879)
I really hate at this moment as I'm watching, I hate this show right now. Hate it.

But here we go. Then we see Kristen and Lucareth.

Wendy (12:31.31)
Kristen was on Watch What Happens Live after this episode. And Andy asked her. I also didn't take notes, but I do remember this. Andy asked her after she saw it play back, you know, Janet going through this trauma. She said, I I definitely saw it differently. That's not how it was presented to me by Tom Schwartz. And absolutely 100% I support, you know, I support her.

Kelli (12:33.794)
Okay.

Wendy (12:59.37)
I support any woman who comes forward this with this, like this happens way more than it should be. And it was it was a totally different conversation, which I'm glad he asked her the question, because yes, it it is a totally different conversation. It is. But she also I don't know if she said this on Watch What Happens Live or she said it in the show. Janet's past trauma has nothing to do with the reason that Kristen

Kelli (13:10.946)
Yes, yes.

Mm-hmm.

Wendy (13:28.642)
doesn't want to move forward with Janet. She doesn't trust her.

Kelli (13:33.646)
she definitely said she must have said it in the show. 'Cause I r I didn't watch unless I did watch what I did watch what watch what happens live or I saw clips and maybe she did say it on that. She's she's absolutely right.

Wendy (13:34.104)
Is that in the show?

Okay. Okay.

Wendy (13:43.542)
Mm.

Wendy (13:47.702)
Right. Like she can still be empathetic about her trauma, but she doesn't have to move forward with her.

Kelli (13:53.399)
No. J listen, Janet sucks. Nobody likes Janet. I'm and I I I feel horrible that that happened to her. But it does not excuse the way she has acted for the past couple of years towards these people. She wanted to be on Jax's side because she wanted to be a reality TV star and she thought following Jax was the way to go. So did Brittany. I've had it with Brittany too, especially after this episode. Anyway.

Wendy (13:54.829)
Right.

Right. Right.

Kelli (14:22.488)
We see Kristen and Luke at therapy together. Kristen says nobody talk to her about the mental and emotional impact of having the baby. Amen to that, right?

Wendy (14:33.311)
Mm.

Kelli (14:34.562)
She thought Luke would just wanna be home and be with her and the baby and be a part of things when the baby came. And most y listen, when you become a mom, typically, typically you you just wanna be home with your baby. For for the dads, I don't think that that's necessarily the case, right?

Wendy (14:56.95)
No, it's not. It's usually not the case. I mean, no.

Kelli (15:02.338)
And then Luke says he felt very alone and Kristen's hearing he doesn't care when he wants to go out. Like he wants to go out because he he probably felt like Kristen and the baby were like forming their bond and, you know, Kristen was getting angry at him for like little things and, you know, listen, I've been there. I I definitely did that to Eric.

And Luke just probably wanted to remove himself from the situation, but by him doing that, Kristen was taking it as he doesn't care about her and the baby. It's compu it's all communication.

Wendy (15:30.989)
Yeah.

Wendy (15:37.696)
Right. A hundred percent. Yeah.

Kelli (15:42.114)
this was great. The therapist says having a newborn is like throwing a bomb into your relationship. And honestly, that's such a good analogy.

Wendy (15:52.032)
It definitely is. It definitely is.

Kelli (15:54.947)
You get past it, you get through it, but with the first, you don't know what to expect. But again, ha you know, it's never it's i it's only gonna bring good to in your life. If you if you choose not to have children, that's your choice. And that's okay. You know, that's that's not for me to say it's okay, but that's that's a choice you're making. And but if you are in a position where you're, you know, having a baby and it's not

Wendy (16:01.868)
Right. You don't.

Kelli (16:24.576)
the most ideal situation, it's never a mistake. It's never it's only gonna bring you joy in the in the end. You're gonna get through the hard shit.

Wendy (16:30.356)
Right. Right. I mean it it does does also c right. It does also come out in in the therapy session that he wants to have more children, right? And, you know, the therapist is like, Well, why would you like if if you're having such a hard time and he's like, Well, I just like to, you know, get through it. Like like just get through it so that we're on the other side of it. And I it kinda makes sense too, you know what I'm saying? Like he understands that this is a temporary situation. Like he understands that.

Kelli (16:55.597)
Yeah.

Kelli (16:59.395)
Right.

Wendy (17:00.354)
That doesn't make it any easier, but he understands that it's a temporary situation. So, like, let's just get like let's, you know, and they're not getting any younger either. That's the other issue. You know, they have a they have a biological time clock on their, not on their side, right? So I I get it. Yeah. Well, I think he does too. I mean, yes, he's younger than her, but remember how worn out he was from drinking. So, you know what I mean?

Kelli (17:15.158)
Right. He doesn't, but she does.

Kelli (17:25.442)
Yes, that's true. Yeah. Luke tells the therapist what he said about getting married. she questions when they got engaged and Kristen is like, you know, but when you, you know, did that beautiful engagement and this wasn't, you know, this wasn't in your in your thoughts. And he was like, Well, I didn't know cr pregnant Kristen yet. Not the right thing to say. Not the right thing to say.

Wendy (17:50.765)
I know. I think listen, and this is one of the things she also said on Watch What Happens Live. Listen, she's complaining to him that, you know, he doesn't open up and he doesn't share things with her. She's like, I can't get mad at him if he tells he says that to me 'cause that's what he's feeling. And how are we gonna work through it? And that's absolutely true. And the fact that she acknowledges that and spoke about that on Watch What Happens Live, even when it happened, you could see the look on her face. She's like, that's a zinger.

Kelli (18:07.244)
Yes. Yes.

Wendy (18:18.934)
And even the therapist acknowledged it. But she didn't freak out. She didn't freak out.

Kelli (18:24.758)
No, and the biggest problem for Kristen, I feel, is abandonment. So him saying anything, you know, like not getting married anything in that arena is gonna set her off, you know, upset her. We're seeing a very different Kristen than we used to see, let's face it.

Wendy (18:29.484)
Definitely.

Wendy (18:38.347)
Right.

Wendy (18:44.802)
Definitely, definitely.

Kelli (18:46.57)
Yeah. So them being in a in a safe environment with a therapist, he should be saying whatever he needs to say. Because she's not reacting. Yeah. Yeah. the therapist says that this is the repair part. So, you know, let have the conversation and then just like be still in it, which is great advice. Like let it just sink in. Well, listen, we all need therapy. I know I do.

Wendy (18:55.074)
Yes, that's the place. Right. Right.

Wendy (19:10.253)
Yes.

Wendy (19:18.743)
Nothing wrong with that.

Kelli (19:20.332)
No. Brittany is at the house with Cruz and she says that now that they're in their house and it's a safe space for him, it's working wonders for his therapy because last year this time in on the show that this time it was they were going from Airbnb to Airbnb. That was God, that just shows you what kind of person Jax is, that he has a child with special needs and he would rather displace him.

Because of his own ego, right? 'Cause he certainly wasn't offering to have the kids stay with him.

Wendy (19:52.332)
Yeah, it sure does. It sure does.

Wendy (19:58.275)
Well, he wasn't the he wasn't capable of taking care of the child.

Kelli (20:02.262)
No. No. Janet shows up and this is when it hits me. She never has her kid with her. So the weight of the house is on her shoulders, but that must not include taking care of her own kid because she never has her kid with her. Ever.

Wendy (20:10.679)
No, she doesn't.

Wendy (20:20.064)
No, she she never does, you're right.

Kelli (20:22.156)
No wonder Jason was so worried about being hurt because he's clearly the primary caretaker of this child.

Kelli (20:31.311)
Janet and Brittany FaceTime Lala to ask her to go to Chili's for happy hour. But they aren't inviting.

Wendy (20:37.09)
I've never seen anyone so excited to go to Chili's in my life. Have you? I mean, am I missing something? Like I guess so.

Kelli (20:43.116)
No. Yes, we're both missing something. And listen, I'm not above Chili's, but I'm just saying if you're onto the valley, you should be a little bit more excited to go somewhere else other than Chili's for a happy hour. I mean, level up. But she says she wherever she's from, she's from somewhere where there's just chain restaurants everywhere. So it's like her gig.

Wendy (20:51.564)
Right.

Wendy (20:56.568)
It's like, okay.

Yeah. That's what I

Kelli (21:09.038)
They're not inviting Kristen or Nia, but they're inviting Lacey. That makes total sense, right?

Wendy (21:14.518)
No no, absolutely not.

Kelli (21:17.311)
of course Lala has to bring up the fact that she needs to talk to Kristen and tell her to back off of Janet.

Kelli (21:27.01)
Like what in the actual F is going on on this show?

Wendy (21:31.19)
I don't know. I don't know. And honestly I felt bad for Zack st stuck at this party.

Kelli (21:38.114)
Well, there was a couple of reasons to feel bad for Zach.

Wendy (21:41.406)
Yeah, gosh, there sure was. my gosh.

Kelli (21:44.708)
I mean, as soon as I hear Janet say mozzarella, I'm like, this girl could not annoy me any more than she already does. I mean, mozzarella. I want to punch her in her face through the screen.

Wendy (21:52.782)
Ha ha ha

Kelli (22:03.532)
And then we learned how she can't do math because she was spending money on something twenty dollars a day and she thought it she thought it was sixty dollars a month and it was six hundred genius. Like what?

Wendy (22:09.526)
McDonald's McDonald's.

Wendy (22:16.493)
Yeah.

You're right.

Kelli (22:20.778)
And poor Lacey has to go.

And then Brittany says, Who's ready for Halloween? And I guess she's like leading up to her party. And then Zach brings up the fact that he picked up Danny from his vasectomy and he's slowly realizing some stuff. Lala says, Hopefully Daniel will be on good behavior since he's been neutered. And Janet says, I think we're giving him too much grace.

Could you imagine if someone if s if a woman had her a woman on this show had her tubes tied and somebody said that about her somebody referred to her being neutered on this show? Could you imagine if someone said that?

Wendy (23:06.115)
my gosh. No, no, no. No, I can't.

Kelli (23:12.386)
The hypocrisy is is so outlandish on this show. Like I'm all for female empowerment, but you're using the the word neutered about a man and if it was made about a woman.

Wendy (23:22.615)
I know.

Kelli (23:29.589)
I mean my God.

Kelli (23:34.146)
Janet says she used words she shouldn't have and has apologized and isn't getting any grace.

She's never said I apologize for saying sexually assault. She has never said those words.

Wendy (23:45.752)
She never apologized. She never has. No, she never no.

Kelli (23:54.735)
Plus you keep talking about him in a negative manner, and now you have fake Tupac comin' him too.

Like, are you kidding me? If you apologized and just started acting normal, you would have gotten grace. But you keep saying negative things. And I'm not saying she's lying. I'm not saying she's making this story up. But two years later, two years later, you're saying you were triggered because of something that happened in your past.

It's just the the behavior that's led up to this doesn't

It just doesn't sit well. Am I wrong?

Wendy (24:48.93)
No, I no, you're not wrong. And l and like I said, whether Kristen said it on the show or she said it on the after show, Watch What Happens Live. It's in fact true. You can have empathy for her if you know, for what she's gone through, but you still cannot trust her. You still cannot want to be friends with her and just let it be. Stop forcing it. Like just stop forcing it.

Kelli (25:10.414)
Right. Right. And here's my question. I was talking to my friend at the salon today about it. What's your end game? Is your is is their end game to get Danny and Nia off the show? Because I believe that that was Jax's end game to get Danny and Nia off the show. I firmly believe if you get Nia and Danny off the show, you're gonna lose a lot of viewership.

If you get Janet and Jason off the show, you're not gonna lose a lot of viewership. You're probably gonna gain back viewership because people can't stand her. I just don't understand w and and I'm not saying I want Janet off the show. I don't enjoy her at all. I probably would enjoy the show more without her, but I'm not saying I want her off the show. I'm just saying well, I did say that on the podcast. Actually that's one of our most popular clips.

Wendy (26:01.566)
Ha

actually would like her off the show to be quite honest with you because I don't enjoy watching her either. I don't like watching her. I don't

Kelli (26:08.108)
I don't enjoy watching her. I don't think I d listen, if if p I don't I don't dislike Danny, I think that Danny has a drinking I think that Danny has should stop drinking. I'm not saying Danny has a drinking problem. I'm saying that Danny's not a good drinker. He should not drink. It's we've said it a million times. Other than that, he doesn't bother me. Janet bothers the fuck out of me. I mean, she's horrible. She's she's just horrible. Anyway.

Wendy (26:25.696)
Yes.

Wendy (26:36.29)
I don't I'm not a fan either. That's something

Kelli (26:38.584)
But I like that

Wendy (26:41.486)
Kristen also said that on Watch What Happens Live, Andy asked her, you know, a a viewer asked, like, why are you so blindly loyal to to Nia and Danny? And she said that she is to Nia, she absolutely is, but she said that as far as Danny's behavior, you know, after she watched the show, I guess there's things that she saw that Danny did that she doesn't necessarily agree with, and that's fine. That's fine. She's entitled to her opinion.

She's entitled her opinion. Right?

Kelli (27:11.47)
She is entitled to her opinion. But here's the thing. We're all in families. We all have friends. We're all in groups with people, right? Your husband might do something that I don't necessarily agree with. My husband might do something that you don't necessarily agree with. This isn't going to affect our friendship. It's never going to end our friendship. And I'm not saying that's even a thing. I'm just saying if that were the case.

Wendy (27:35.638)
Right. Right.

Kelli (27:37.539)
They're you're on a they're you're putting these people on a show together where drinking is a huge thing with this group of friends. More so than any other show we're watching. Even Southern Hospitality, where they work in a bar, because they're working a lot on the show where they're not drinking. This show is heavily based around drinking. If you can't handle being around this person when they drink, then maybe this show isn't the job for you.

Wendy (28:06.05)
Yeah, maybe.

Kelli (28:06.486)
And I don't I think he should probably stop drinking, Danny, but he's not right now. So he's not hurting anybody. I I don't know. I don't I don't even wanna I gotta I guess I gotta watch what I say. So Zach says I guess we haven't moved past this and Michelle says Danny needs to apologize. To who? For what?

Wendy (28:18.765)
Yeah.

Wendy (28:30.942)
Well, actually she said he needs to apologize and then say that he's ne and never do this again and he's never gonna do this again. And Zach is like, Well, it's kind of hard for somebody to apologize for something and say that they're never ever gonna do it again. Like we are humans. What are you talking about? Like this is getting like this is ridiculous.

Kelli (28:47.692)
Right.

Right.

Wendy (28:52.362)
So then br him and Britney start like getting into a bit of an argument and you know, he's like, You know what, I I'm gonna excuse myself. Okay, you can you can pick it up from there because

Kelli (29:03.212)
Yeah, because Brittany starts to say how the whole group has treated Janet and Zach's like, Let's be careful what we say. And Britney gets all jacked up over that. Brittany, I think, has some entitlement on this show, I guess because she came on as Jax's wife and Jax is some holy grail in the reality TV world to these people. But Brittany brings up that they've been friends for eighteen years and he's dismissing her.

Wendy (29:11.982)
Mm.

Wendy (29:16.621)
She does.

Kelli (29:33.122)
Yeah, because you're full of shit. You're full of shit. You were totally, totally on board with Jax to try to, you know, smear Danny and Nia. You know, Alex Baskin is Jax's Coke buddy, so he's a producer. He's fully on board. And we know that because this is still going on.

Wendy (29:37.44)
I think yeah.

Wendy (29:52.749)
Yes. We I mean, I do think with Brittany, and again, not that I'm s defending Britney, but I do think that Britney has her own trauma. I think that she's definitely got PTSD and I think that when she sees, you know, Janet being treated like this or she sees the what she perceives Danny the way he per she perceives Danny to be treating Nia or other women, I do think it's a trigger for her. Again, I'm not

making excuses for her, but I'm just saying I think that that's where Brittany like falls in this whole situation.

Kelli (30:27.038)
Agree with you about the Danny and Nia thing. She probably sees Danny speaking to and treating Nia a certain way when he's drinking that triggers her. But she was totally fine with the sm you know, the campaign against Danny and Nia second season when Jax was behind it. She fell in line there. So you can't tell me that like the way people are treating Janet, they're treating Janet because of the because of Janet's own behavior.

Wendy (30:36.174)
Mm-hmm.

Kelli (30:57.154)
Janet created her own future on this show. Danny and Nia did not. They, you know, they were they were targeted by Jack's, which has been made abundantly clear. But Janet, she's not being targeted. She's you know, reaping the repercussions of her own actions. I don't know. Then listen, poor Zach goes to the bathroom and while he's peeing, he relieves himself backwards.

Wendy (30:57.174)
Right. No, I agree.

Wendy (31:07.318)
No, I totally agree. Right.

Wendy (31:20.066)
No, I agree. I agree.

Kelli (31:26.134)
He relieves himself in a backwards manner. Is that not the sweetest way to say that you just shit yourself?

Wendy (31:34.146)
Yes. Yes. It was. And he said it with such a straight face too.

Kelli (31:39.918)
Classy, Zach. Classy.

Wendy (31:41.238)
Yes, yes, yes.

Kelli (31:44.762)
Britney is still talking at the table about how she's dismissed. And then Zach tells us he had to throw out his underwear.

Wendy (31:54.124)
Yes, he does. He does.

Kelli (31:56.339)
Lacey did show up. She did show up. She you know, she braved braved through it. God bless her. And then we're at Britney's photo shoot and Kristen and Lala in her slutty pirate outfit come in. Like what the fuck was she wearing? Like what was she doing?

Wendy (32:14.35)
Is that what you think she was wearing?

It was now that you just said that, yeah, now I look now that's all I see. She did. She did.

Kelli (32:21.846)
It was like a slutty puffy shirt from Sunfelt.

She looked like a slutty pirate. Listen, maybe that was the look she was going for.

Wendy (32:32.94)
I mean, this is four weeks after her surgery, which really is not that much time.

Kelli (32:38.326)
It's not that much time. I thought she looked fantastic and God bless her. I'm so happy she did this for herself. But I think I would have waited a little bit longer for the photo shoot. But

Wendy (32:42.396)
I do too.

Yeah, me too.

Wendy (32:50.156)
I would too, but maybe you know, she wanted to get it in the s in the season. So yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

Kelli (32:53.858)
That's it. The show is wrapping up. My God, we're at eighteen episodes already. She's like, shit, I better get this photo shoot in. she's so emotional because she feels so good in her body after being told she didn't look good by Jax. What? Every time she says something like that, because you know damn well it's true. What a scumbag he was.

Wendy (33:00.173)
Yeah.

Wendy (33:12.651)
definitely. Mm-hmm.

Kelli (33:16.504)
Brittany says to Kristen that she has secluded herself. And Kristen says she's not missing out on anything, not having Janet in her life. And Kristen is not interested in seeing anything good in Janet right now. Listen, she has every right to feel this way. As much as they think Jax is the holy grail of reality TV, Kristen Doty is right up there with him. Like, Kristen does not have to be friends with Janet. And she's doing what

we all want her to do by not being friends with Janet because it's killing Janet, literally.

Wendy (33:49.708)
Right.

Wendy (33:53.356)
Yeah. I yeah, I agree with you. I agree with ya.

Kelli (33:56.377)
Kristen so they're like even Lacey, you know, even Lacey went to the lunch and Kristen's like, Lacey was flipping out that she had to go in on the phone with me while she was walking into the lunch. And Zach talks shit about Janet twenty four seven. And then Britney says something about guilt tripping Zach and Kristen says, I don't do that, Nia does. Now did you see the look on Britney's face?

Wendy (34:05.207)
I know.

Wendy (34:21.906)
she it wasn't even the look. She's like, Aha. Yeah, uhha. She said it. And Lala's like, so there it is. Love that you're throwing your friend under the bus. Okay.

Kelli (34:32.406)
And I don't think she was throwing her under the bus. I think she's just being honest. But can we all just agree that we're seeing the side of Britney that really exists? Brittany was so happy to hear that. Nia Giltrips Zach. Brittany is nobody's friend on this show. She is a Tamra. She is nobody's friend.

Kelli (35:02.378)
it just comes down to the fact that Brittany, Lala, and Janet just aren't likeable, quite honestly, I think. They're just not. Lala goes then then the so we're done with the photo shoot. Lala goes to Kristen's house. And I bet we can all guess what we're gonna talk about.

Wendy (35:23.874)
Yes, we sure can.

Kelli (35:25.964)
Lala says, I went on the boat with Schwartz and he said you shook off what Janet had been through. And Kristen says, I don't want anyone shoving Janet down my throat. Lala says, if you heard Janet's story, it would affect you and it has traumatized me. Kristen in her confessional says Lala looking in her eye is making her feel empathetic for Janet. And she says she can be empathetic.

But Janet having trauma has nothing to do with why she and Janet aren't friends. So she said it in her confessional. So what exactly does Lala want from Kristen? Lala wants Kristen to hear this story about Janet's past trauma and be like, my God, I'm so sorry you went through that. Forget about everything that's happened in the past two years and let's be besties again.

Wendy (35:59.139)
Yeah, that's where she said it. Yeah. Yeah, yeah.

Wendy (36:17.954)
Right. Right. This is not gonna happen.

Kelli (36:19.616)
It's not gonna ha it's not gonna happen. And I'm sorry, like I feel terrible that Janet went through that. That's a horrible th I've never had a situation like that. You know, thank God. And and I feel horrible for anybody who has, including Janet. But it doesn't change the fact that her be her the way she has treated her friends over the past years, it doesn't one doesn't correlate to the other.

Wendy (36:37.932)
Right.

Wendy (36:48.428)
No, it doesn't. It doesn't.

It doesn't.

Kelli (36:52.588)
And if that's what you were s if that's what you were triggered by two years ago in the pantry.

You should have said it then. However, she says that she went to therapy in high school even though her mother couldn't afford it when this happened. But then she also says it wasn't until last year that she realized what happened to her.

Wendy (37:19.81)
I think I don't know if she said she realized what happened to her or that she the therapist put it explained to her that that's why she was so triggered by what had happened w in the pantry. It's because of the past trauma. Like I think I and I I could be wrong, but I think what she was saying is that she did go to therapy in high school, even though her mother couldn't afford it. And then last year

Kelli (37:30.993)
okay.

Wendy (37:42.38)
while going to therapy to try and figure out like why she was so triggered by what was going on with Danny's behavior and why she felt so unsafe around him, it came up that it was because of her past trauma that she felt this way. She didn't put it together. Her therapist did. Right? I think.

Kelli (37:56.556)
Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay.

Wendy (38:05.228)
But she's I still don't like her. Simple as that. I still like her. I don't like her. I don't wanna be her friend either.

Kelli (38:07.458)
I don't like her. I don't like her. I'm sorry. I'm I don't want to be her friend. I don't want to s I I really don't even want to see her on the show. I just I'm I'm sorry. I feel terrible that she went through that. That's a horrible thing to live through. It doesn't change the way I feel.

Wendy (38:18.39)
No. That's okay. Yeah.

Wendy (38:28.522)
I agree. I totally agree. And next week is the f Halloween party and the season finale, which should be exciting.

Kelli (38:36.686)
Cheers to the season finale next week.

Wendy (38:39.168)
Yes, cheers to that. I only have water, but we'll cheers to that.

Kelli (38:43.118)
