RHOSLC S7 E6 Recap: Hypocrisy, BS & a Brunch Gone Wrong

RHOSLC S7 E6 — “Boss Up or Shut Up”

The ladies are back in Utah, and the drama is still serving hypocrisy, bullshit, and questionable apologies! Mary Cosby hosts her Boss Lady Brunch in an attempt to bring the group together, but instead of finding clarity and connection, she gets a front-row seat to another round of accusations, hurt feelings, and friendship betrayals.

Meanwhile, Angie K. opens up about the struggles in her marriage to Sean, Bronwyn’s personal and financial life raises eyebrows, and Whitney’s alleged plot to take Meredith down becomes the center of the latest controversy.

Angie and Mary’s Champagne Catch-Up

Angie prepares for Mary’s visit with high-heeled cleaning, bargain-priced decor, and a bottle of champagne that Mary immediately declares a snoozefest. Angie jokingly compares the wine to Meredith, then pours it out of a teapot because apparently, even the serving dishes are part of the chaos. Angie admits she is struggling in her marriage, but acknowledges that Mary is dealing with something much heavier. As Angie recounts the latest trip drama, Mary questions how the women could go from talking about being a family to behaving the way they did.

Brittani’s Birthday Party and Bronwyn’s Financial Questions

At Brittani’s daughter Olivia’s 21st birthday party, the women take shots and revisit their infamous performance of “Hypocrisy and BS.” Bronwyn reveals that her house sold for more than expected, but Heather questions why she traveled to Florida to meet Brandon’s parents. The conversation also raises eyebrows about Bronwyn’s relationship with Brandon, especially now that the financial arrangement between them is part of the discussion.

Bronwyn challenges Whitney over Ashley’s claim that she never said anything negative about Meredith. Whitney insists Ashley is lying, but the evidence she offers about Meredith being a different person than she was seven years ago hardly seems like the smoking gun everyone expected.

Mary’s Boss Lady Brunch Turns Into a Boss-Level Mess

Mary brings the ladies together for her Boss Lady Brunch, hoping to create a space for honesty and connection. Instead, Bronwyn arrives ready to revisit the “Hypocrisy and Bullshit” performance, while Angie shows up wearing a tie despite Mary repeatedly saying ties were not welcome.

Mary also reveals that Robert Sr. sent the women beautiful floral arrangements as party favors. She explains how much their support meant to her during a painful time, particularly because her family had largely abandoned her when she gave birth to Robert Jr. The gesture is heartfelt, but the women quickly return to their usual drama.

Bronwyn Wants an Apology, Meredith Wants the Lawsuits Sealed

Bronwyn is offended by the women’s performance and feels that Meredith and Lisa should apologize for hurting her feelings. Meredith argues that the performance was not specifically directed at Bronwyn, then takes a shot at her with the line about sealing her mouth like her lawsuits.

Meredith eventually offers an apology, saying she is genuinely sorry if her actions hurt Bronwyn’s feelings. Bronwyn accepts the response, but Lisa refuses to feel bad about the performance and even starts singing the song again. Lisa explains that apologies are about authenticity, while her confessional makes it clear that an apology from her comes at a very high price.

Whitney then complains that she has waited seven years for an apology from Meredith, joking that a female president will arrive first.

Did Whitney Put Together a Team to Take Meredith Down?

The brunch takes a more serious turn when Meredith claims Whitney assembled a team to get her out of the group. Ashley steps forward and says she heard Whitney talk about wanting Meredith gone. Ashley explains that she previously admitted to Meredith that she had discussed her behind her back, apologized, and disclosed what Whitney allegedly said about bringing Ashley into the group to help remove Meredith.

Whitney denies the accusation and claims Ashley has twisted the situation. Lisa attempts to work out who could have been involved, naming Brittani, Heather, and Angie as possibilities. Whitney eventually admits she might have said she wanted Meredith gone, but the conversation leaves everyone questioning who is telling the truth.

Mary, disappointed by the entire gathering, tells the women she expected more from them. She reminds Lisa that showing human kindness means apologizing when someone is hurt, then gives Whitney some pointed spiritual advice: clean herself up and get on her knees to ask God for help.

Whitney and Ashley Try to Save Their Friendship

After the disastrous brunch, Ashley visits Whitney. Whitney admits that everything has unfolded in the opposite way she expected, while Ashley tells her that much of the drama she has experienced in the group has stemmed from Whitney.

Despite the tension, Whitney wants to protect their friendship, remembering advice from Sherry not to ruin this particular bond. Ashley says she wants to remain friends with Whitney, Lisa, and Meredith. They agree to address problems directly with one another rather than allowing their issues to spiral through the group.

The Gossip Kitchen: Flower Theft and Marriage Trouble

Mary, Heather, and Angie meet at the Gossip Kitchen, with Lisa joining them. Mary complains that Brittani took flowers from the brunch, including one from the table arrangement. Lisa and Angie take the situation a step further, suggesting Brittani may be trying to get into people's wills after she posts a photo with the flowers at a nursing home. It's a savage accusation based on very little.

Mary also presses Angie about her marriage to Sean. Angie avoids giving a straightforward answer, but Mary senses that something is wrong.

Heather’s New Romance and More Bronwyn Suspicion

Heather reveals that she is dating someone and plans to introduce him to the women at a party. Her excitement is obvious as she discusses the new relationship.

But the conversation turns back to Bronwyn when Heather says Brittani is looking to expose her over the real estate situation. Heather questions whether Bronwyn's seemingly glamorous new chapter—complete with a hot new boyfriend and a favorable divorce settlement—is as perfect as it appears.

Lisa agrees, claiming Bronwyn misrepresents her life and lies about everything. With another party on the horizon, Bronwyn's personal life may soon become the group's next major investigation.

Kelli (00:00.748)
Hi, welcome to We Wine Whenever, I'm Callie.

Wendy (00:03.122)
I'm Wendy.

Lori (00:04.108)
And I'm Laurie.

Kelli (00:05.56)
Tonight we're talking about Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, season seven, episode six, Boss Up or Shut Up. I don't like it.

Lori (00:15.319)
Well, I gotta tell you. I didn't like this whole episode. It annoyed the F out of me. I couldn't wait for it to be over. It was wasting my time. It was horrible. It was annoying. It was overproduced. I that's how I feel. That's exactly how I feel. Yeah, it's like I'm done with you. I'm done with you. I'm done with you. Yeah, don't waste your time. It fucking sucked. Don't watch it.

Wendy (00:15.443)
I don't like it either.

Kelli (00:25.857)
Interesting.

Wendy (00:29.607)
How do you really feel?

Kelli (00:30.819)
Yeah.

Wendy (00:34.771)
Okay, that's our recap. Thank you for watching.

Kelli (00:38.296)
Don't waste your time.

Kelli (00:43.694)
well, before we start, please go to our YouTube and subscribe and hit all of our socials and follow and five star review if you would like and engage and comment. We love that. real quick, I in addition to watching the golden life, I also got caught up. I don't know how I did this this week with all these damn shows we're watching, but I also got caught up with on still flipping out.

Lori (00:44.887)
Sorry.

Wendy (01:12.811)
I I've I think I've watched two episodes. I'm one ep there's been three, right?

Kelli (01:13.614)
So good.

Kelli (01:19.586)
There might be three or four. 'Cause it just kept rolling.

Wendy (01:21.733)
Okay, I've seen two I think I've seen two. It is good.

Kelli (01:25.832)
I did not watch the original original flipping out. I didn't watch it. it's so good with the people he has on it. Like his housekeeper, again, the housekeeper steals the show every scene she's in.

Wendy (01:29.136)
I did. I did.

Wendy (01:36.049)
It is good. But he only

Wendy (01:42.044)
Yes. I mean it's Zoila's sister who took care of his grandmother. They were saying I 'cause I listened to Jeff Lewis his podcast. They were saying like you have to go back to his old episodes on flipping out when his grandmother was on, that she was such a pistol. Like she's way more I mean, he could be mean, but he's he's not as mean as he used to be. But

Kelli (01:46.189)
Yep.

Kelli (02:05.806)
think the like when he tries to be mean, you could see where he's like almost laughing about it.

Wendy (02:10.787)
Yeah. He's yeah. He's only doing eight episodes.

Kelli (02:13.23)
But I don't work for him, so he very well could be really mean.

Wendy (02:16.947)
I know. He's only doing eight episodes, which I'm a little yeah, it's only one to do. And again, he's just he's doing his regular show. He's just kind of living his regular life. I mean he d he he does the radio Andy two hours a day, every day. He's a workaholic he is a workaholic. And his live shows, it is funny.

Kelli (02:19.8)
really?

Kelli (02:26.296)
That's it.

Kelli (02:29.87)
Yeah.

It's very funny. Yeah, it's very good. All right. So we're back in Utah and Angie is outside sweeping in her high heel boots because Aunt Mary is coming over as she tells her dog. And she's gonna fill her in on the San Fran trip. And Mary comes in and Angie brings out a two thousand thirteen bottle of champagne, whatever not champagne, whatever yeah.

Wendy (02:47.513)
Mm.

Wendy (03:00.519)
Dom Dom Paranong, yes.

Kelli (03:03.032)
Whatever Mary likes to drink. And Mary says, That year is a snooze fest and it'll put you to sleep. So Angie says, so it's Meredith.

That was funny. Angie is like really like going like I don't I don't think she's on the Coca-Cola, Angie, but sometimes it seems like yes, it wa it was a lot.

Lori (03:27.426)
She flit she was flitting around too much and I think she was like freaking Mary out. Mary just wanted her to like sit the hell down and let's have a talk. But Angie was like really busy, like sometimes Right. Sometimes when you Right. When you try to over host this, you you s you screw it up. Like I think Mary just wanted to come and chill and sit down and catch up. And Angie was just like too involved with making it like a production. Like

Kelli (03:35.458)
Right.

Kelli (03:38.892)
I got these new plates. You like my new plates? And then she's she's like, the the price tags on them. Like Yes.

Yeah.

Lori (03:57.539)
pouring wine into a teapot and like just stop.

Kelli (03:57.561)
Well that's and that's that's the word. And I and I I feel like I'm overusing this word too, but it was very performative.

Lori (04:06.198)
Yes. She was making too much of a production out of it.

Kelli (04:07.616)
And and yes, and Mary's like, it's basically giving me anxiety. Like, I don't care about your dishes. so Mary asks her about the trip and Angie's giving her the lowdown. And as she is, they're like showing Angie going on and on and on and on and on. So I guess she was talking about a lot. And then she was reenacting the song. you know, hypocrisy and bullshit.

Lori (04:13.026)
Mm-hmm.

Lori (04:34.976)
And this is the point where I s right. And I just wrote unwatchable. This to me is this is unwatchable. I was like, I can't.

Kelli (04:40.682)
Yeah, I mean this part kind of was.

So Mary's upset. She's like, How do we all go from being at my house and saying we're a family to to this? So I'm gonna have a lunch, everyone's invited, and you'll see when you get there, I'm gonna get clarity with everybody. So

Wendy (05:00.423)
Which I thought was a great idea. Like the concept made perfect sense, right?

Kelli (05:04.396)
Well, if anybody's gonna be able to do that, it should be Mary who is a pastor and also who just lost her son and really needs everybody to rally around her. So you would think she's the perfect one to host something like that. then we see it's Britney's daughter, Olivia's twenty-first birthday. and and Britney's lucky enough to be there celebrating it with her. And then Heather Bronwyn and Whitney show up.

Wendy (05:13.937)
Yes.

Wendy (05:17.906)
Yes.

Kelli (05:33.122)
They all do a shot, because the daughter's never had a sip of alcohol.

Lori (05:34.994)
Yeah. yeah, Whitney get Yeah, 'cause Whitney did the Coke shot, diet coke shot. Pepsi di whatever. Yeah, yeah.

Kelli (05:41.001)
right, right, right, right.

Wendy (05:41.608)
that's right. Yeah, I was like, I don't remember seeing Whitney, but you're right, Diaco.

Kelli (05:44.736)
Yeah, so yeah.

Lori (05:45.004)
But that was nice. That was nice that obviously there's some progress with Brittany and her daughters, which is always nice.

Kelli (05:53.25)
Yeah, it is. It is.

Wendy (05:54.888)
She said on Watch What Happens Live 'cause she was on Watch What Happens Live that her and her daughters are getting along very well. They're living with her. well, one is off like traveling all the time and doing great like she they have a great relationship right now, which I was very happy to hear. Yeah. Yeah.

Lori (06:10.338)
That's nice. Absolutely.

Kelli (06:11.566)
That's good. That's good. Listen, maybe now that Britney has the show, she's not so worried about being dependent on a man financially. And I'm sure he is, but I'm just saying, like, maybe this gives her a little bit more financial freedom, where before she was so focused on finding a man because of financial stability. But in the meantime, it was at the

Wendy (06:21.441)
no, J Jared's still in her life.

Lori (06:22.338)
Mm-hmm.

Wendy (06:25.458)
Yeah.

Kelli (06:40.162)
you know, th she sacrificed her her relationship with her daughters, which, you know. So Bromwin's house has sold for more than what they thought. And she says that Todd still she found out this weekend that Todd still has access to see her credit card statements, which means that they are Todd's credit cards that he's paying for. And Todd saw that she was in Florida. And she was in fact in Florida meeting Brandon's parents.

Wendy (06:43.932)
Yeah.

Wendy (06:59.492)
That's what that means.

Lori (07:07.85)
I don't believe that. I don't believe it. I don't believe it. I don't.

Wendy (07:08.259)
So weird.

Kelli (07:10.284)
I don't believe it either. I don't believe it either.

Wendy (07:14.355)
Do you don't believe she was in Florida or you don't believe she was meeting Brandon's parents? Okay. Okay, well then it's not weird. If it's not true. I know, it doesn't make any sense. It doesn't make any sense.

Lori (07:16.694)
I don't believe she was meeting his parents. I think it's bullshit.

Kelli (07:18.562)
Right. Right.

'Cause Heather's like, Why? Why would you do that? Like and why would you do that? It doesn't make any sense. He's almost half your age. You know you're not marrying him. Why would you go meet his parents? It's been two months. It's stupid. Yeah.

Lori (07:22.176)
Yeah. See there you go.

Lori (07:26.506)
No, no.

Lori (07:32.384)
Right. You're not even together anymore. This is stupid.

Wendy (07:32.476)
Right.

Wendy (07:35.973)
Okay. Okay, we all agree. It's a lie. Okay, move on.

Lori (07:37.376)
Yeah, stop.

Kelli (07:42.018)
Then she starts talking about the song and they show Lisa and Meredith singing the song everywhere, including the cockpit of the airplane.

Lori (07:51.784)
I saw a social media post that they did from the cockpit of the airplane.

Wendy (07:56.477)
That's crazy.

Kelli (07:57.579)
Now I love the song even more, I'm not gonna lie.

Lori (07:59.499)
And they had on they had on the hats. Like the pilots let the pilots let them wear the hats. And they were in the cockpit with the pilots.

Kelli (08:02.658)
The pilot hat?

Kelli (08:07.34)
They need now they need a music video, I'm sorry. They need to do a video.

Wendy (08:12.763)
I mean, as obnoxious as it is, it's hard to get out of your head once you start. It's so annoying.

Lori (08:17.353)
It is, it's horrible.

Kelli (08:17.409)
It's so

I'm sorry, this could be the theme song for every single Housewives show, every single franchise.

Lori (08:25.382)
Every single housewife show. I wrote that I wrote that down that this episode is living up to the name hypocrisy and bullshit. The whole episode.

Wendy (08:28.475)
Yes.

Kelli (08:35.948)
Yes. Yes. Especially with Bronwyn lying about the guy. First and foremost, paying somebody to pretend to be your boyfriend. And I'm sure we're gonna find out the same thing with Heather.

Lori (08:49.75)
No.

Wendy (08:49.883)
I have feeling we are too.

Kelli (08:51.616)
Mm-hmm. So Bromwin brings up that how Ashley was saying she never said anything bad about Meredith. And then Whitney says she's lying. And Ashley told her that Meredith is not the same person she met seven years ago and Ashley's strong enough to handle Meredith. And they're all like, This is what she said, like this was the big smoking gun.

Lori (09:11.814)
okay. Right. This is yeah.

Wendy (09:16.935)
Right.

That's nothing. That's nothing.

Kelli (09:19.488)
I mean, it's nothing. And Whitney just again for the show to be relevant ruined a friendship with someone whose whose sister in law who passed away was your best friend, like all for the sake of the show. It's crazy.

Lori (09:31.532)
We'll do anything.

Wendy (09:41.543)
Yeah, it's crazy. That's crazy.

Kelli (09:46.555)
So now we're at Mary's boss lady brunch. Meredith and Bronwyn are there together. Meredith asks Bronwyn how she is, and Bronwyn says, Well, they're full of hypocrisy and bullshit. It was great answer.

Lori (10:02.53)
Which I thought was a good answer.

Wendy (10:02.547)
I loved it actually.

Kelli (10:07.582)
Angie walks in wearing a tie with nothing underneath and Mary is upset because she specifically and quite a few times said absolutely no ties. That was weird.

Lori (10:22.146)
I'm gonna tell you something. I loved Mary's outfit. my god. I loved that outfit. That was so good. And it was really funny when Kwai comes in with her outfit. I love how Mary said she was looking like an Emirate Stewardess. Cause she really did. Like once she said it, I was like, you're right.

Kelli (10:27.895)
Yes, yes.

Kelli (10:41.88)
She did.

Wendy (10:41.917)
She did.

Kelli (10:45.656)
She really did. And honestly, this whole episode, and I really like Ashley. That confessional look, she looks like she's wearing a slutty cop Halloween costume. I can't get past the hat.

Lori (10:53.536)
Absolutely. Yes. Like a the hat, the whole thing. And you know, my husband came home early from work because I had a test to do today and he wanted to be able to take me. And he so he was actually watching this with me and he goes, You know, I really wonder what all of them looked like before their surgeries. He said, I betcha they were prettier than they are now.

Kelli (11:19.246)
Great question. Mm-hmm.

Yeah. Eric says it all the time, especially about New Jersey. He's like, they all ruined themselves. But wasn't don't you think that was weird that Angie deliberately wore a tie with nothing underneath? When Mary over and over again w

Lori (11:29.59)
Mm-hmm.

Wendy (11:42.439)
Specifically said no ties. I know.

Lori (11:46.026)
Yeah, so

Kelli (11:46.094)
I just think that's very odd to do to your friend who's trying to do a nice thing.

Lori (11:48.916)
Yeah, I she's she seems really messed up. She seems messed up.

Wendy (11:54.238)
Something's going on with Angie because I could even tell from when Mary was on Watch What Happens Live, like she's not good with Angie right now. She's actually she's actually good with Lisa and Meredith. And

Kelli (12:01.282)
No.

Lori (12:01.738)
No, I wouldn't think there would be.

Kelli (12:05.302)
Yeah. I think that Mary and Meredith always really did have a true friendship, which I find interesting because I find Meredith to be somebody who hides her real life. but listen, maybe I'm wrong. I don't know. I I always and I know you guys told me about all that stuff, all those accounts that Sean follows, but I still go back to that interview where he said, you know, the show has changed my wife. She hasn't been the same since she joined the show.

Lori (12:34.828)
Right, maybe it's true. And you know what listen, this kinda made like this struck me about Meredith. Maybe, you know, you complain, Kelly, that she doesn't show her real life. But maybe Meredith's crazy like a fox. Because maybe you shouldn't. Maybe you really sh may but maybe you Right, but maybe that's a smart play. Because when you do i it like screws up everything that's

Kelli (12:51.415)
half of them don't. Giselle doesn't. We don't know anything about Giselle on Potomac.

Mm-hmm.

Lori (13:04.01)
It just creates this vortex that messes up all your relationships in your life. So maybe Meredith's not so dumb. She's still getting the paycheck without you know, without doing things like Whitney does, like sacrificing anything in order to be have some relevancy. Or things like we see Brahman doing hiring someone to be your boyfriend. Still married to your husband and

Kelli (13:24.546)
Yeah. Yeah.

Lori (13:34.204)
Use this credit card to fly your

Friends with benefits around or whatever he is. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? Like so I don't know.

Kelli (13:39.662)
Twink. Your twink.

Wendy (13:44.861)
Yeah, I know.

Kelli (13:46.585)
Yeah. So Britney says that she has sent Mary text messages and flowers since Robert Jr. passed and hasn't heard anything back. And then Mary says that the flowers that Britney brought her look like weeds. I do think Mary is extremely hard on Britney. And that's coming from me who cannot stand Brittany. But I do feel like Mary's very hard on her.

Lori (14:11.884)
She is very hard on her. And I didn't like at in I didn't like in this episode, and it's toward the episode and I'm gonna skip, where Mary said that Brittany stole the flowers. Because I think that's bullshit. I think I think at the end of the night, Britney said, you know, you have these lovely centerpieces, they're just gonna go in the garbage. I visit nursing homes and give them out, which is a very kind

Wendy (14:12.049)
I do too. I do too. Why? Why do you think she is?

Kelli (14:16.78)
I don't know why.

Kelli (14:27.086)
Mm.

I agree.

Lori (14:41.224)
sweet thing to do. And and I forget who said it. And she said it. Yeah, I think I thought that was really nasty and un and uncalled for because yes, Britney is annoying as hell, but I think that she genuinely has a very kind heart. And and I could see her doing that. Like taking the flowers and taking them to the nursing home. But to f to to make that whole spin like

Wendy (14:45.709)
Angie. Angie said she's going there looking. Yep.

Kelli (14:47.048)
Angie and then Lisa co signed it.

Wendy (14:51.975)
I did too.

Lori (15:10.596)
she stole the flowers and she's just going there to trying to find a payday. I was like, you know what? Stop it. 'Cause that's just nonsense.

Wendy (15:12.711)
I yeah. I agree with you.

Kelli (15:13.866)
No, I totally agree with you.

Kelli (15:19.606)
And they were they were centerpieces on the table and there were like eight or ten of them.

Lori (15:24.362)
Right, and they're just gonna get thrown in the garbage.

Wendy (15:24.488)
Yes.

Kelli (15:26.302)
Yes. That's totally, totally acceptable. They were gonna get thrown out.

Wendy (15:27.624)
She set down.

Lori (15:31.478)
Right.

Wendy (15:32.467)
She said on Watch What Happens live that she goes to these nursing homes and she sings to the people. And I'm sure she does. Yes, a hundred percent. I think that's so kind. You know how much that that makes their day?

Kelli (15:37.74)
That's what I thought.

Lori (15:37.834)
I'm sure she does.

Kelli (15:45.165)
Yes. Yes. So Heather asks Angie how things are with Sean and Angie's kind of cagey about it and Mary's like like what is going on? Like Mary was not

Lori (15:45.215)
my god. Absolutely.

Kelli (16:03.186)
No, she was not happy to, you know, sense anything wrong there. And then Angie says that a good day looks like coexisting in her confessional, because she didn't say any of this at the table. She wasn't letting anything out at the table. She doesn't want Mary to know because she's dealing with her own things and she doesn't want Mary to have to carry this for her, which is being a good friend, but

She says a good day looks like coexisting, but she feels like her life is falling apart. And so Heather and Angie go off to the side. that didn't I'm sorry. The Mary thing didn't happen yet. This is when Angie and Heather are off to the side. And Heather says to her that nothing good in her life would have happened if she had stayed married. She would have lived a shell of a life. And Angie thanks Heather for her advice. I mean, I guess it's sound advice, but

Lori (16:46.134)
Mm-hmm.

Wendy (17:00.381)
I mean that's kind of tough though. You can't compare the two, right? Because it doesn't s right, because first of all, Angie's Greek, right? Heather was Mormon, her husband was Mormon, it was a totally different dynamic.

Lori (17:01.025)
Well

Yeah, you can't compare the two.

Kelli (17:03.468)
I don't think you can compare the two either.

Kelli (17:10.774)
Yeah.

Kelli (17:15.798)
And he was like a very h his family was like like like from the founders.

Lori (17:18.028)
Controlling. Mm-hmm.

Wendy (17:20.819)
High up in the Mormon church. Right. And in the Mormon faith, it's your your husband first and then your children. Angie and her husband are business partners. It's totally like it's totally different situations. And I feel like, I mean, I don't think she gave her good advice because I don't think that that was the

Lori (17:24.255)
Right, right.

Kelli (17:33.484)
Right.

Lori (17:41.261)
Well you could have said it you could have said it in a way where it was good advice. You could have said, Look, I know your situation's totally different than mine, but at you know, just to give a little bit of a perspective, you know, there is a life after whatever's gonna be happening with you. Like you can flourish, you can, you know, if this is what you decide, if this ends up to be best for you, you can still have, you know, a great life like

For me, my life kind of began after I got a divorce. So you could have said it that way instead of the way she said it.

Kelli (18:19.414)
Yeah. Yeah. So this is when Mary announces that Robert Sr. gave all the ladies party favors and their beautiful flower arrangements and he tried to do it b so sweet and he tried to do it by each of their personalities. And then Mary gets all choked up in her confessional because she says when I had Robert Jr., bubs, she didn't get any flowers because I guess her ba her family basically abandoned her.

Wendy (18:28.42)
That was so sweet.

Wendy (18:48.603)
Yes, they did.

Kelli (18:50.614)
And you know, I was thinking about this. Like, I I just there are arranged marriages everywhere. So, you know, it's a little yeah, is it a little weird that Robert Sr. had sex with her grandmother and then had sex with her? Yes, it's weird, but I mean, it's it's that's the weirdest part. Like, other than that, there's arranged marriages everywhere, and he's 20 years older than her and

Wendy (19:08.751)
Yeah.

Kelli (19:19.106)
Bromwan is now dating somebody twenty years younger than her, so it's like it's not so crazy outlandish.

Lori (19:26.38)
I think it had more to do with money. I don't think it had anything to do with their Yeah.

Wendy (19:29.277)
Definitely. Definitely.

Kelli (19:29.322)
with her family, it was totally about money. Her mother thought she should be the next to marry Robert Jr. Robert Sr., excuse me. Yep. And to and to fall into that, you know, first lady of the church role. That's what it was definitely about. So I guess when her mother fell out with her, so did everybody else, which is really sad because she was that was she was just on her own.

Lori (19:37.856)
Yeah. Yeah.

Wendy (19:38.397)
Senior.

Lori (19:53.515)
It is sad.

Wendy (19:58.334)
Well, she still has this relationship with her cousin, right? Like ha I wonder how that's her cousin. Is it like

Kelli (20:00.972)
Yes, she does.

Kelli (20:05.774)
through Robert Senior or is it on her side, you know? Yeah.

Wendy (20:07.419)
Yeah, i Right. Yeah. I wonder what that's yeah.

Lori (20:09.282)
Yeah, yeah. I don't know.

Kelli (20:12.918)
but but she acknowledges that these ladies that in this group have not abandoned her and were with her for were there for her for with her loss. And Robert Sr. wanted to thank them. Whitney is not drinking and she apologizes for the things she's done while intoxicated and she says, I have a lot going on in my life right now, but I'm not ready to share it. And Lisa's like, here we go. This is Whitney's MO And she's not wrong. Whitney does do this.

but Meredith does it too, so it's funny. Whitney says she's offended for Brahmin because two of their other friends misbehaved in public. So Mary asks the group what they thought, and Meredith said says to Brahman, it wasn't targeted at you. I was going to do a DJ set that night, and Brahmin says, Were you asked to do a DJ set? And Meredith says, Can you seal your mouth like your lawsuits?

Wendy (21:11.187)
So rehearsed. That was so rehearsed.

Lori (21:12.876)
So that's what I'm saying to you. I just felt like this episode

Kelli (21:13.198)
So rehearsed. And then of course Meredith shuts down and says, I'm done. I'm done.

Lori (21:20.586)
Yeah. I I just felt like it was so overly produced. Like it was just Ugh It's painful.

Kelli (21:23.981)
Yes.

Kelli (21:28.95)
Yeah. So Bromwin goes on her victim campaign and she says after my heartfelt speech, you thought I would find that song funny? And they were like, Yeah, we thought we thought you'd find it funny.

Wendy (21:44.253)
Ha ha

Kelli (21:46.479)
But Meredith does apologize. She's like, I'm genuinely sorry if my actions hurt your feelings. And Brahman says, Fair enough. And Whitney's like, shit, man, I've been waiting seven years for an apology from Meredith. She's like, We'll have a female president before I get one. So Mary says to Lisa, you know, so Lisa and Lisa says, I don't feel bad about the performance.

Lori (21:57.505)
You ain't never getting it, so you keep waiting.

Wendy (21:59.624)
Yeah, you're never get

Kelli (22:13.836)
Lisa says to Brahmin, you don't like when people say I'm sorry if that's how you feel. So I'm not gonna I'm not gonna give you that apology.

Lori (22:24.34)
She's not sorry.

Kelli (22:25.922)
She's not sorry. And Mary's like, You can't squeeze blood out of a turnip.

Wendy (22:26.259)
She's not sorry. She's not.

Wendy (22:33.307)
I've never heard that one before.

Lori (22:34.878)
I didn't know there was I didn't know there were any blood. Right. Well, I didn't know there was any blood in a stone or a turnip, so I really don't know what's going on with that. Any of it.

Kelli (22:34.995)
Never in my life. I've heard can't get blood from a stone.

Kelli (22:47.758)
How about this? Lisa says it's about authenticity. And then in her confessional, she says an apology from her is very expensive, like more than a Birkin.

Wendy (22:57.724)
Yeah.

Kelli (22:59.436)
Wow. A delusion. The level of self importance.

Lori (23:00.47)
The delusion is full force, full force.

It's stupendous.

Kelli (23:08.812)
Yeah, stupendous. Yep. Meredith says Whitney put together a team to try to take her down and it is malignant. She really has quite the vocabulary, doesn't she? And Brahmin asks, Well who who told you a a team of 50 year olds. So Brahmin asks, Who told you a team was put together to come after you? And Ashley's like, Me, right here. Me too.

Wendy (23:26.397)
A fifty year old team, a a a team of fifty year old fifty year olds. They're women.

Lori (23:29.346)
Fifty year old women fifty year old women.

Lori (23:36.5)
I liked that. She was like

Wendy (23:40.113)
Yeah. Bron was like, Well, I'm not fift I'm I'm not forty. I'm you know, I'm not in a fifty year old that and I was like, Okay, Brom

Kelli (23:49.081)
Well, Lisa does the process of elimination and it's Brittany, Heather, Angie, and Whitney. But Whitney's not fifty. she put together a team of fifty year olds. Okay. So Ashley said in San Francisco she admitted to Meredith that she did talk about her and she was so sorry. And Meredith accepted her apology and Ashley told her that Whitney said, We are hoping you are coming into this group to get Meredith out. And I one hundred percent believe this.

Wendy (23:52.626)
Yes.

Wendy (23:56.656)
No. The team, yeah.

Lori (24:18.388)
yeah.

Kelli (24:19.234)
Whitney says it's bullshit, but I totally believe it.

Wendy (24:21.819)
I cannot see Whitney saying to Ashley, I hope you're coming into this group to get Meredith out. Like, why would she expect Ashley to do that?

Kelli (24:30.782)
I I I believe it. Because Whitney's like a child. Whitney's like living in elementary, middle school, not even high school yet. I think she really thinks this way. And I think

Lori (24:39.636)
Right. Yeah, she could've she could have just been like, you know, I'm so glad you'll be here because now there'll be somebody else and you know, you know, maybe you'll be so great as a cast member they'll get rid of Meredith, like that kind of a thing.

Kelli (24:55.798)
And Ashley said Whitney said Ashley said I'm strong enough to take on Meredith. She probably did say that. And Whitney was like, Great, I'm so glad you're coming into this group to stand up to her and put her in her place and maybe she'll just leave.

Lori (25:13.354)
And Whitney thought that Qui was gonna come on and be her kinda backup, her wingman, her girl against Meredith. That's what she thought.

Kelli (25:24.428)
Right. And then she stupidly told Angie that story and then when that came out I was like, Yeah, I'm I'm out.

Wendy (25:32.071)
I'm done. Yeah.

Kelli (25:35.374)
Whitney says Ashley came into her home and said Meredith had terrible things to say about Whitney and Ashley says you recorded me. Angie says there's cameras everywhere, including the last time she got a pap smear. I'm sorry, Angie, but if I go to get a pap smear and there's a camera, I'm not putting my legs in the stirrups. Like that's ridiculous. There is not.

Lori (25:55.053)
But I think but I think what she meant was I think that probably her doctor uses an AI thing to sub s to scribe the notes. Like my like the guy I work for does. Like when you come in for an office visit, he lets you know I'm using AI and he has a little laptop and he records the notes from the visit. So probably the same thing. But that's right, but that's not recording. You like like that's not filming.

Kelli (26:17.39)
Okay, that's different. There's not a camera No.

Filming, right.

Lori (26:24.822)
But it is recording what you're saying because it that's how the doctor does do their notes.

Kelli (26:30.776)
Hm. It's interesting. I never heard of that.

Lori (26:33.278)
yeah, almost a lot a lot of doctors office you're gonna start seeing it in. They just press a button and it records your whole interaction. It takes out anything that's like personal. It just goes it just does a note like the doctor would normally have to do.

Kelli (26:48.214)
At some point, don't we have to question ourselves why are we paying doctors and lawyers anymore if they're all relying on AI?

Lori (26:55.446)
Well no, because isn't they're not relying on AI. What the AI is doing is just instead of the doctor coming in, he sees you, you discuss everything, then the doctor has to go back to his office, he has to sit down at the computer, and he has to write his notes for the visit. So this just does it for him.

That's all. It's a huge time saver for physicians.

Kelli (27:18.878)
sure, but then how do you justify charging what you charge? listen, I'm talking about my bosses as well.

Lori (27:23.072)
Because

Right, because it's still they still have the experience, they still have the education in order to be able to give you the advice in the first place. So it's just a matter of how that information is getting into the computer, that's all.

Kelli (27:42.143)
All right. I'm not an AI fan. I'm not. I don't. Whitney says I probably said I want Meredith gone. And Mary says this is my first time in public since my situation, and I am completely disappointed with the way this turned out, and it makes me question everyone. She said I expected more from all of you. And Lisa, it's human kindness to say I'm sorry if you've hurt someone. And then she says to Whitney

Wendy (27:43.859)
Kelly's not Kelly's not buying it.

Lori (28:09.538)
This is true.

Kelli (28:11.32)
Clean yourself up. I loved what you said now. Clean your

Lori (28:13.664)
Little girl.

Wendy (28:17.715)
That is her favorite thing to call her is little girl.

Kelli (28:22.542)
Clean yourself up and whatever you're going through, get on your knees and ask God to help you.

Lori (28:23.454)
It's very apropos.

Lori (28:29.536)
Not bad advice, Mayor. Not bad advice.

Kelli (28:31.392)
It's not bad advice at all.

Wendy (28:33.191)
Listen, I think that that's good advice for anybody, whatever you're going through. Get on your knees and ask God to help you. To be quite honest with you. Yes. Yes, exactly.

Kelli (28:39.584)
Or whoever your higher power is. Yeah, for sure. so that was the boss lady brunch.

we're at Meredith's house with Brooks and Chloe and the three of them are trying to do math and they are unsuccessful.

Lori (28:59.286)
That was just a scene I didn't I didn't even did you why are you wasting my time? That's just stupid.

Wendy (29:03.207)
That was ridiculous.

Kelli (29:04.246)
I think at some point they have to start showing us their them home with their families because and this goes for all housewives across the board because this is what we're supposed to be watching. You with your families and then how you interact with the other ladies. This is not what Housewives is anymore. It's a big fucking catfight and it sucks.

Lori (29:20.652)
Right. No.

It's hypocrisy and bullshit.

Kelli (29:27.872)
It's hypocrisy and bullshit.

Wendy (29:30.845)
Ha ha ha.

Lori (29:32.066)
I'm bored. I'm bored.

Kelli (29:34.934)
Then Whitney's at her house and Ashley comes over. I'm like, what? After what just happened at that brunch?

Wendy (29:40.549)
I know. I know. And then she shows her the ca there's no cameras. I'm like

Kelli (29:45.761)
Right. It's only her whatever her ring camera whatever it is. Whitney says everything has gone completely opposite of how I thought it would w with Ashley coming on the show. And Ashley says all the drama I've had in this group has stemmed from you. Whitney said at this point in her life she could easily just walk away from this friendship, but sh she said she hears Sherry's voice saying like fuck it, like walk away. Did you guys get that?

Wendy (29:48.178)
Yeah.

Wendy (30:14.095)
No, I thought she heard Cherry's voice saying to her, Like you like you need to fix this. Like you're not that person. Yeah, yeah.

Lori (30:14.443)
No

Lori (30:19.574)
Right, don't fuck it up. Right.

Kelli (30:21.878)
yeah, like at first it was like just walk away, but then when it comes to Ashley, when it comes to Qui, she's No, no, no, not with this one. Right, okay. Don't fuck this one up. Yeah, sis. Yeah. So she wants to protect the bond.

Lori (30:29.206)
Yeah, and she says she feels a sense of obligation. Right.

Wendy (30:29.51)
Right.

Right, right.

Lori (30:37.334)
Well she should have thought about that. She should have listened to her friend from the grave when she was s spreading the quiet business. When she was when she was queefing the business.

Kelli (30:44.75)
Yes.

Wendy (30:44.787)
Toothbrush thing to Angie.

Kelli (30:49.154)
Yes.

Wendy (30:51.827)
She was also talking about that on Watch What Happens live. And she did say to Andy that she is very remorseful and she regrets that she said that to, you know, to Angie and that she feels so bad the way, you know, Ashley came on the show and how she was received by everyone because of the way Whitney behaved. Like she did own her part in it. I mean, but how could she not? It's I mean, it's obvious you have to own it at this point.

Kelli (31:13.837)
Yeah.

Wendy (31:21.735)
I mean in the in the moment she didn't actually own it when it was in the moment because she got all defensive.

Lori (31:25.43)
No.

Kelli (31:27.011)
Yeah.

Yeah. That's a terrible story to repeat though. That's a bad story to repeat. Because I mean, didn't you think about her husband? Like he's gonna I mean, I know she didn't think Angie would repeat it on on the show, but come on, now again we're talking about Angie who's you know, she seems to have changed a bit since she came on the show. I don't think she's anybody's friend.

Wendy (31:33.083)
It's horrible. It is horrible.

Wendy (31:47.826)
Right.

Lori (31:55.424)
No. I feel like she's not in her right mind.

Kelli (31:58.101)
I agree. Something the theme got to her. S I I don't know.

Lori (32:01.004)
Something, something. Yeah, I don't know.

Kelli (32:04.014)
So Ashley says, I want to be friends with you. I wanna be friends with you, Lisa, and Meredith. So let's move on. And they agree to each other that if they have issues with each other, they'll, you know, go to each other. So then Angie, Heather, and Mary go to the gossip kitchen and then Lisa shows up. And Mary just wanted to go out with a smaller group. So it was Angie, Heather, Mary, and Lisa.

Heather brings up Robert Sr.'s flowers. Mary says Brittany stole them and took them to the nursing home. Blah, blah, blah. Then they accuse her of trying to get into people's wills. Mary asks this is where Mary asks Angie, How are you and Sean? And Angie's like, Well, that's an interesting question. And Mary gets worked up because Angie's just not answering. And then she kind of blows it off.

Wendy (32:55.279)
No, she's not giving her a straight answer. Yeah, she wouldn't give her a straight answer.

Kelli (32:59.35)
Yeah, but Mary's now hip to it.

Lori (32:59.98)
See, I think that yeah, I think that Angie probably is trying to do the right thing, but I have a feeling that could have been a big thing. I have a feeling that Mary was probably really pissed that she didn't tell her.

Kelli (33:14.474)
Yeah. Well, especially when you're telling Heather and you're putting it out, you know, it's like this is supposed to be your good friend. And they've been down this road before last season.

Lori (33:18.73)
Right, right.

Lori (33:23.893)
Right.

Lori (33:27.626)
Yeah, so I have a feeling that it probably really rubbed her the wrong

Kelli (33:33.238)
Yeah. Yeah, I agree.

so but Andy blows it off, but Mary knows something's going on. Heather says to the ladies she's dating someone and she's hosting a party and she wants everybody to come, and it'll be the first time that they're meeting Trip. And then they flash to her talking to him about the party on her couch. And again, I'm gonna use the word, it's all very performative. I don't know if I believe that she's really dating this guy. That

I don't know if you saw that very cringy video of her singing the Fleetwood Mac song with him in the car. It was like in response to his ex wife or ex girlfriend saying something. I I don't know.

Lori (34:11.298)
Yeah.

Wendy (34:11.773)
No.

Wendy (34:17.499)
No, I did not. But I d I did see him sitting in the audience when she was on Watch What Happens live. And that was cringy too. Every time they panned to him, like I don't know. It doesn't seem real. It doesn't seem real.

Kelli (34:19.182)
Cringy.

Kelli (34:28.598)
I don't know what it is about this guy. Yeah. No, something ain't right. Something ain't right. so she said Heather, it's Heather said she invited everybody and their partners. She said Brittany is on the hunt to expose Bronwyn with the real estate.

Wendy (34:33.405)
Doesn't seem real. Yeah. I agree.

Lori (34:48.364)
Which is stupid. It's just so stupid. She can have a house in a trust and her name not be on it? It makes no sense.

Kelli (34:52.3)
The thing is, is that you can it's an LLC. It's an LLC. Please, we have a town right next door. Every house is in an LLC. Every single one.

Lori (35:03.188)
Absolutely. We two towns, three towns next to us that everything's in LC.

Kelli (35:08.02)
Yeah, like this is what people do. This is people do this.

Lori (35:10.634)
It just it it just her whole Brittany it just makes no sense.

Kelli (35:15.096)
She just wants to be right about something, but I I I

Wendy (35:15.645)
She she admitted that too on Watch What Happens Live that she was wrong to do that. Basically, she didn't really know what she was talking about. And then she tried to make a joke to Andy and is like, I've got I've got a copy of your deed here too. And he just looked at her and she's like, no, I'm just kidding. He has like no patience for her either. Like you could tell, you could t you could tell by the look on his face. And I'm like, my gosh, Brittany, like you need to get your shit together.

Lori (35:25.122)
No.

Kelli (35:33.283)
my God, stop. No, I I could tell that, yeah.

Kelli (35:42.977)
Yeah. Yeah, so and then Heather says she's skeptical of the grandiose of it all with Bromwyn and you can't do a press release with a hot new boyfriend and get a good divorce settlement. I agree with that. Maybe Todd knows that this guy is for hire.

Wendy (36:02.279)
He probably does 'cause he's paying

Lori (36:03.126)
He probably does 'cause he's paying for it. He's paying for it. He's

Kelli (36:03.916)
He's paying for it. Lisa says who knows what's real because everything I know about her is not real. And Lisa says Brahmin misres misrepresents her life and she lies about everything. I don't get that from Brahmin, but this is definitely something's going on.

Lori (36:18.476)
But listen, no. But maybe maybe maybe Todd too is crazy like a fox. Sure, I'll give you money. Look, it's gonna cement your place on the show and then it's less for me to give you because now you're gonna ha you're gonna keep this gig that you got.

Kelli (36:36.812)
Right. Right.

Yeah. I mean listen, it's it's not out you know, it's not outrageous to think that they have some kind of agreement, arrangement. Which their marriage could have been some kind of arrangement prior to her coming on anyway, with him traveling and, you know, his indiscretions in the marriage, like, you know.

Lori (36:47.05)
Arrangement. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

Lori (36:55.426)
Who knows? Who knows?

Yeah, maybe it was maybe it was in the shitter already when she came on and it was all a plan.

Kelli (37:03.54)
Exactly. It was like a Camille and Kelsey Grammar situation.

Wendy (37:09.809)
I agree. I think that that's probably exactly what it was. I think that he said, Yep, let's just do this so you can have something. I can go off into the sunset, you'll have your own thing.

Lori (37:17.538)
Mm-hmm.

Lori (37:22.482)
Mm-hmm. I can fart and make out all I want.

Wendy (37:26.929)
Listen, it worked. She got you know, she got to do red carpets at the Grammys, right? Or the Oscars or one of the shows. Yeah, it

Kelli (37:31.886)
She sure did.

Lori (37:32.183)
Yeah. Sh you know. She's got this show, she's got some shit going on, so it it behooves him for her to stay relevant. And if it costs him some dough to have some young hottie for her then to keep her relevant, then he's like, Yeah, sure. Huh? Have at it, you know? So who knows? But I don't know, it just this episode just really annoyed me.

Wendy (37:37.778)
Yeah.

Kelli (37:42.606)
Hell yeah.

Kelli (37:51.768)
Yep. Have at it.

Wendy (37:55.441)
Yeah.

Kelli (37:57.112)
Yeah.

It was annoying because because of Whitney and Heather, quite honestly. It was annoying because of them. They're annoying.

Lori (38:02.012)
it just really was annoying.

Lori (38:10.272)
I just thought.

Wendy (38:10.481)
I agree. They are annoying and every s every single thing that Heather says is performative. She does not say one thing that is just natural and real. Every word that comes out of her mouth is performative and calculated. Every single thing she says and that is annoying.

Kelli (38:17.795)
Yes.

Kelli (38:25.954)
Yes. Yes.

Lori (38:27.98)
But that's the thing for me, like this episode, sometimes the show can fool me. Sometimes there'll be little interactions and I'm like, okay, cute, whatever. But I felt like every single scene in from this episode was just hypocrisy and bullshit. Like every single scene was just like

Wendy (38:50.927)
It was. It was. So, you know what, I forgot to bring this up when we did our last one on New York, but I just want to bring up, did you see coming up that we're gonna see Lindsay Hubbard? And the word on the street is that, you know, she may be on the new New York at some point, which I wouldn't be surprised and I'll be honest with you, I wouldn't exactly hate it either. Because I I like Lindsay. I like her.

Kelli (38:52.302)
It was Yep.

Kelli (39:02.978)
Yes.

Kelli (39:18.798)
I I mean listen, Lindsay's a narcissist. She's thinks she's the you know, she thinks she's the shi whatever. But she'll fit right in. She'll fit right in. I don't think they're filming in the city, so I don't they I don't think they got renewed.

Wendy (39:26.023)
She's reality T V she yeah. She's

Lori (39:26.102)
It shall fit right in. It shall fit right in.

Wendy (39:35.389)
They're not. I think they did. Like I said, I think they I think they're holding it off a little bit 'cause those three women just had babies.

Kelli (39:43.0)
She's not gonna be on all the she's not gonna be on Summer House in the City and Real Housewives of New York though. She's gonna

Wendy (39:49.925)
I don't think she's gonna be on all of them. I think this is like something for the future.

Kelli (39:54.135)
Right. So that's why I'm wondering if in the city got renewed. 'Cause I Googled it said it's not renewed as of right now.

Wendy (40:02.097)
It's so weird, why would they do a reunion? Like you don't normally do a reunion.

Kelli (40:04.918)
I don't know. I mean they were in the clubhouse and and they the last

Southern hospitality was in the clubhouse too, and that's done. You saw Leva Leva said, I'm done with Bravo. She's not even at the fan fest. That's happening in Charleston right now. So she and Bravo definitely cut ties.

Wendy (40:17.041)
That's not coming back. Yeah. Yeah.

Wendy (40:26.001)
Yeah. Well we Yeah. I mean she lost all of her employees to Craig, so it's kinda hard to do a shop when all your employees jump ship.

Kelli (40:30.4)
I don't know. Dude, he's there Craig and Austin are definitely getting a spin-off for their new wedding or their new banquet venue. Definitely. He pulled the rug right out from under Leva. He was so angry when she was getting that spin-off.

Wendy (40:39.909)
Yeah.

Wendy (40:49.553)
It took him a while to get it, but he did it. I mean, how many years? It took him a while.

Kelli (40:54.314)
It did, but you know, listen, slow and steady wins the race.

Wendy (40:58.401)
Ha ha ha

Lori (40:59.179)
Yes, so.

Kelli (41:00.792)
But I'll tell you what also was Leva's downfall, Michaels and TJ. I'm sorry, not Michaels, Bradley and TJ. Bradley and TJ were Leva's downfall. They were relentless and they were horrible. Horrible, horrible.

Wendy (41:09.403)
Bradley. Bradley for sure.

Wendy (41:14.289)
Yeah.

Wendy (41:18.119)
You know what though, Michaels wasn't all that great either. Michaels had a lot of issues.

Kelli (41:22.688)
He did. He did. And listen, the whole Emmy thing, I mean

Wendy (41:27.783)
Yeah, Emmy and Will. Not good not good. All right. I'm sorry I brought in t too many different shows all at once. I know, it's true.

Kelli (41:30.358)
Yeah. Whatever.

Nope, that's all right. That's all right. We have to catch up at some point. All right. Well, thank you for watching and listening. Please like and subscribe and five star reviews and comment. Bye.

Wendy (41:46.909)
Bye.

Lori (41:47.875)
Five.
