Friendship Betrayals, Scammer Drama & a Birthday Party Blowup

RHOP S11 E3 Recap: She Said, She Said

The drama is already brewing in Potomac as friendships are tested, private conversations become public, and one birthday party turns into a full-blown shouting match.

Karen Huger continues her personal journey through therapy and reflects on the struggles in her marriage to Ray. Meanwhile, Giselle Bryant, Robyn Dixon, and Ashley Darby meet to discuss the tension surrounding Wendy Osefo and the controversy over what was said on the Reasonably Shady podcast. The conversation quickly turns to loyalty, friendship, and whether discussing a friend's personal struggles publicly crosses the line.

Wendy meets with Giselle to address the accusation that she called her a scammer. Wendy explains how the label carries cultural implications for her as a Nigerian woman. Giselle acknowledges her point and apologizes for her comments, but Wendy makes it clear that being cordial doesn't necessarily mean their friendship will return to what it once was. The meeting takes an unexpected turn when Giselle asks Wendy for advice about speaking before Congress.

Elsewhere, Tia welcomes her mother for an extended visit, but her mom's apparent affection for Rob threatens to make family dynamics interesting. Stacey and Thiemo discuss their relationship, reflect on the lessons learned from their divorce, and establish deal-breakers for a possible reconciliation. Then Thiemo surprises Stacey with a marriage proposal, and she says yes!

Courtney is house hunting with her husband, Alexis, and planning his birthday party. But the celebration becomes the setting for the episode's biggest confrontation. Giselle confronts Tia for telling Wendy about the scammer comment, while Tia questions Giselle's loyalty and accuses her of treating other people's pain as material for her own success.

The tension escalates when Tia brings up Giselle's comments about a possible dating-app situation involving Tia's husband, Rob. Giselle initially denies making the connection, but Robyn confirms that the conversation happened during podcast recording. Robyn says she had the questionable remarks edited out, sparking another debate about whether she protected Giselle or whether the information should have been left alone entirely.

As the ladies gather for Alexis's birthday, Stacey announces her engagement, and Courtney's offer to help with wedding planning gets an awkward response. Cynthia Bailey arrives just in time to witness the chaos. Then Wendy confronts Ashley for allegedly throwing Giselle under the bus, reigniting the argument between Ashley and Robyn.

Poor Cynthia can barely enjoy her meal as the ladies yell across the table. The birthday celebration ends with friendship, loyalty, and accountability still very much in question.

This episode proves that in Potomac, what you say, who you tell, and what makes it onto a podcast can turn a simple conversation into an all-out showdown.

Wendy (00:00.687)
Hi, welcome to We Wine Menever. I'm Wendy. And before we start, I'd like to ask all of our listeners to go over to YouTube and hit subscribe and follow us on all our socials: TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, comment, like, five-star reviews, and all the fun stuff. We are doing thank you. We are doing Real Housewives of Potomac, Season 11, episode number three. She said, She said.

Kelli (00:03.936)
I'm Kelly.

Kelli (00:18.126)
Thank you.

Wendy (00:28.163)
But before we do that, the new taglines came out. So I will start with them. The first one is I have is Stacy Rush. Talk about depth. Talk about truth. Talk about Stacy.

Kelli (00:45.322)
It'd be great if it were true.

Wendy (00:48.629)
I still love Stacy. I don't care. I do too.

Kelli (00:50.264)
love her, but she does not tell the truth all the time, let's face it.

Wendy (00:53.941)
No, she does not. Courtney I don't know how to pronounce her last name. Ajinka. I came to spread the word and maybe a little gospel. That's okay.

Wendy. Hmm. All I all eyes are on me, so I might as well give them a show. listen. I don't know. I don't know that that was the best one given the circumstances she's in. Tia's is I may speak the King's English, but I will never entertain a jester. I actually like hers.

Kelli (01:15.01)
Very humbling.

Kelli (01:29.592)
I d I like hers as well. Yeah.

Wendy (01:32.969)
Ashley's is I'm no one's sugar mama, but I still make life sweet. Hmm. Guess she was referring to Josh.

Kelli (01:41.422)
I mean Yeah, it's like leave the poor guy alone for crying out loud. We don't need to know how much money he makes or lack thereof.

Wendy (01:51.033)
Karen's is I found my higher self, but humbling you, dot dot dot, no problem. No.

Kelli (01:58.634)
You are the one who needs to be humbled, Karen. That is the most horrible tagline you could have ever chosen for yourself. I just I'm gonna go back and say it. If she had acted half as classy as Shannon with the the same situation, I I would feel so differently. She is horrible. Horrible tagline.

Wendy (02:06.283)
I agree. I agree.

Wendy (02:24.846)
Yeah.

Kelli (02:26.614)
I mean the whole color purple thing. I I can't believe someone has this low level of self awareness.

Wendy (02:38.039)
I agree. I totally agree.

Kelli (02:39.062)
And I never had a problem with Karen before this. I think she's horrible.

Wendy (02:46.809)
Giselles is I can honor my past and still read you in the present. I mean, that is appropriate for her. And Robin is a friend of

Kelli (02:54.614)
It is, but she doesn't even read that well. I mean, she's not like phage or Wendy reads better than Giselle. Giselle doesn't read people well.

Wendy (03:03.279)
Giselle's just messy. She's just messy. She really is messy. No, she's not. No, you're right. She's not. So we talk we start out with Tia. She's in the car with her 17-year-old daughter, Sienna. They're on the way to the airport to pick up her mom. And we know that she's gonna be there for three months. She when she invited her mom, the situation wasn't going on at home. So she's a little bit, you know, anxious about how this is gonna

Kelli (03:04.92)
She is. She's not reading anyone. Yeah.

Wendy (03:32.089)
play out, which I don't blame her. Karen is telling Ray that she's leaving and going to her therapist and then she's heading to Surrey. I had to play that back because I'm like, why is she walking out with a suitcase to go to her therapist? I mean, exactly. I was like, she must have a lot to unpack.

Kelli (03:43.006)
Exactly. She's like going to my therapist. Like, talk about bringing baggage to talk about. I was confused as well. Exactly. Exactly.

Wendy (03:57.675)
then listen, Ray acknowledges her and then she goes into her confessional and she says, you know, the time she was seeing a therapist with Ray in the house when way back when and he said that at that time she thinks that she was just dumb because he's the one who said that I you know, I think I love her. And you know, she's now bringing this up now that she's

been in prison, he stood by her side and

Kelli (04:32.895)
Exactly. After he's been by her side. You're gonna bring up a comment he made years ago. Meanwhile, you were just away and he was supportive. I'm sure he went to visit you. He was, you know, putting money in your book, whatever you call it. I mean can't.

Wendy (04:33.986)
It's crazy.

Wendy (04:45.646)
Yes.

Yeah.

Wendy (04:51.693)
Right. She's like, I knew I was in trouble with Ray before my recovery journey. I'm like, please. Yeah.

Kelli (04:57.184)
What recovery journey? That requires accountability.

Wendy (05:03.361)
It does. I was surprised and after that we hear her on the phone with her cousin David, who's in Surrey and she I guess has built a guest house for herself there. So she's

Kelli (05:14.83)
Well she got that big remember she bought the grandmother's house? She bought somebody's house?

Wendy (05:18.601)
Yeah. Yeah. So I guess she built herself a guest house.

Kelli (05:21.228)
I'm sure it wasn't up to her standards, so she built something that maybe was.

Wendy (05:26.605)
So I guess that's where she gets away from Ray and has her, you know, therapy time. I don't know.

Kelli (05:35.082)
Yeah. With maybe maybe blue eyes. Maybe blue eyes is part of her therapy. How about even though I am a reality TV personality, some things have to remain private.

Wendy (05:38.358)
Yeah.

Yeah. I didn't like that.

Wendy (05:49.21)
my gosh.

Wendy (05:54.553)
So then we see Giselle is at a place called the Salt Line and she's meeting with Robin. they're waiting for Ashley. And Giselle says, like, have you talked to her? And Robin's like, No, you know, I haven't talked to her. And Giselle's like, Well, there's some kind of bad vibe between the two of you. And Robin said, Well, I I don't know. Like, I haven't seen her or I haven't talked to her, but she said, you know, last time I saw Wendy, I think

you weren't speaking, she said, Well it feels a certain type of way about the podcast. And she starts to tell her about what Wendy was telling her, how she felt when she had her sit down with Wendy. Then Ashley shows up and she's like, Well what did I miss? And Giselle's like, well she was just talking about Wendy. And Robin said, What what you need to do is establish what is your friendship. Like if you

Kelli (06:31.214)
Mm-hmm.

Wendy (06:47.319)
If you want to be friends with her, then you can't you can't act this way. We c we can't be, you know, talking about her on the podcast. We can't be shady. Like that's the difference. Like if we are acquaintances and co workers, and if you want to throw shade at her, fine. But Robin's not gonna do that anymore, which I honestly think that Robin has changed. What are your thoughts?

Kelli (07:11.256)
So I totally agreed with you. Totally. And still do, but I did read a comment on Facebook and I was like, ooh, somebody said if you don't think this whole Robin being the, you know, mediator and the voice of reason wasn't planned out by Giselle, Ashley, and Robin. So Robin could come into this season looking like a different Robin, you're crazy.

Wendy (07:15.417)
Okay.

Kelli (07:40.29)
Like they were insinuating that it was all planned out so Robin could look better in a different light because when she left, she looked horrible. She lied. With that said, I also think that, like you had mentioned that Robin had spoken to Cynthia about the friend of role. Cynthia's friend of role, she does treat as the mediator and tries to stay good with everybody.

Wendy (08:01.56)
Yes.

Kelli (08:08.374)
So I don't discount the fact that Cynthia probably encouraged Robin to take on that role. Do I think Giselle and Ashley are capable of planning out storylines? One hundred percent. But I'm gonna try to remain optimistic and think that maybe Robin just took some really good advice from Cynthia and went into this season thinking like, I don't I don't wanna mess with anybody.

Wendy (08:08.686)
Yes.

Wendy (08:20.248)
Yes.

Wendy (08:34.317)
Yeah. No, I I I totally agree with you. And I could see it happening. Giselle and Ashley are very, you know calculated. Yes, yes.

Kelli (08:44.792)
Performative. Right. Yeah.

Wendy (08:51.055)
So, you know, Robin said, What if I was in the situation? You wouldn't talk about me. And she says, I was like, Well, you would never be in that situation. Like, you would never be scamming people. And Robin said, Listen, like you can't claim to be my friend and then talk about me on my podcast. And we need to set a precedent. Like, what are we gonna do? And and she said, Well, I've also been a topic of conversation on your podcast. And she's like, What are you talking about? She's Well, when you kissed Jackson.

And then you let Sharice know on camera. I don't think that that was right. I think that you should have let her know in private. I agree with her. I mean I totally agree with that. And we said it we said it at the time.

Kelli (09:27.5)
I totally agree with her because Right. Cause what was Sharice gonna do in that moment? I mean, do I think that tr Sharice tried to have a second moment after the season aired and was like, wait a minute. No, no, I do have a problem with it. Yes, I do, because I think Sharice is like that. But what was she gonna do in that situation? The camera was in her face. I mean, I would have been like, That's whack, that's don't come near my son ever. That's gross. But, you know, when a camera's in your face.

Wendy (09:47.438)
Well, that's it.

Wendy (09:53.667)
Mm-hmm.

Kelli (09:56.629)
I liked that Robin said to them, Sometimes when you're in this group you lose sight of real life. And I think that that goes for housewives across the board.

Wendy (10:03.405)
Yes.

Wendy (10:07.449)
They yes, absolutely. Because for housewives across the board, it's all about them staying relevant and being a part of the conversation. And if they don't really have anything to talk about to be a part of the conversation, they kinda have to just stir the pot. That's the only way to be a part of the conversation.

Kelli (10:15.778)
Yep. Yep.

Kelli (10:26.508)
Right. And and with that they're gonna turn on their friends, coworkers.

Wendy (10:32.725)
Right. Which I kind of feel like when we'll get there, I think that, you know, Tia hits it spot on when she calls out Giselle. Right, you know.

Kelli (10:39.198)
Absolutely. That was Chef's kiss what she said.

Wendy (10:43.235)
Yeah.

So Giselle's like, you know, I thought that you know that that we were a trio, you know, the three of us and

Wendy (10:57.249)
Robin's like, listen, we talked about the Wendy, but we didn't even get to the Tia of it yet. I was like, so then she brings that one up and Giselle's you know, she starts backtracking. Well, I didn't know if it was true and Robin calls her out on it. Like that's not what you do. That's not what you do.

Kelli (11:19.99)
Yeah, it was not being a good friend.

Wendy (11:22.623)
No. No, it really wasn't. the next thing we see is Tia gets home with her mom and the twins are there and Nathaniel and the producer asks Tia in her confessional what was her mom's reaction? Because you then you see Rob come in and I thought it was so awkward, but she the producer asks her what was r what was her reaction to Rob's online activity and she said, Well, I told her before she came and I

sent her some of the pictures and she said like why would he use such awful pictures? My Rob is more handsome than that. She's like, she has a soft spot for him. Like I think that she actually prefers him over me. And I was like, that's not good.

Kelli (12:09.326)
I think there's a lot of things to this. I think there's a lot of elements. One, this woman had ha has had a man not only step out on her, but start a whole other family in another country. Like she's been through it, right? I think that her British background also plays a role in it, too. And and I am in no way saying that she because you're British, you put up with cheating. It's got nothing to do with the cheating. I'm just saying their humor.

Wendy (12:10.744)
Hmm.

Wendy (12:20.248)
Yeah.

Wendy (12:23.905)
Yeah, definitely.

Kelli (12:39.146)
is different than ours. And she was probably just trying to maybe just lighten the mood by making a comment like that. To me it was like British humor, but I you know, but also, it's your daughter and her husband just did this to her, so

Wendy (12:47.377)
Maybe. It could be.

Wendy (12:55.725)
Yeah, or the other thing is maybe she's like, Well, I've got to be here for three months. I don't want this to be awkward. I mean, I can see that.

Kelli (13:04.59)
Right. And what are you gonna do? You're gonna start trash talking and then your daughter's not gonna leave and then now you got you know, now your daughter knows that y you know, this is how you really feel about her husband. Like it's just there's a lot of things in there.

Wendy (13:10.337)
Right.

Wendy (13:14.405)
No. I get that. I get that.

Then we see Stacy and and Timo, they go out to lunch, and Stacy tells them the other day that her mom mentioned about them maybe getting married. How convenient is that? Right? And all of a sudden, her friend drops off her dog, the dog that is so poorly behaved. And Timo gets down and asks her to marry him because the dog has a ring. I was like, wait, what?

Kelli (13:29.771)
it's so convenient.

Kelli (13:39.552)
Right. Right.

Kelli (13:45.09)
Yeah. Right. And the mom had just said they should get remarried.

Wendy (13:49.475)
It just asked her. Yep. Yep. I was like, this is so phony. Phony baloney. but we do find out, because after she said yes, we do find out that no, actually this is before she said yes, that you know, when they decided to get back together, that there was they made a list of like deal breakers and it sounds like Stacy had a problem with spending that yes

Kelli (13:55.906)
Produced. Yep.

Kelli (14:16.078)
Spending problem. Yes.

Wendy (14:18.177)
And not paying the bills, which I could certainly see that happening.

Kelli (14:22.126)
Mm-hmm.

Wendy (14:24.083)
especially if you're trying to keep up with these women, you know? let's see.

Kelli (14:26.54)
Right. Right.

I mean listen, I hope this is real. I think you know, I think I love nothing better than when people get back together. We just had it in my own family, but I just hope it's real.

Wendy (14:41.881)
I hope it's real too. I do too. I mean honestly for her daughter too. 'Cause her daughter's there. Yeah.

Kelli (14:46.378)
Exactly. Like don't do this for the show if it's not real. You you have a daughter together.

Wendy (14:52.545)
Right. Exactly. You can have a relationship and not be married.

So then we see Giselle meets up with Wendy, and Giselle starts out by thanking Wendy for her generous donation. we found out that Wendy donated to her father's brain tumor foundation. I guess there was some event that she couldn't attend, so she sent money, which again is great, but okay. I don't know if you noticed this. They both ordered mocktails there. A little odd. You did. Wendy says, like, you know, that's how I show up for my friends.

Kelli (15:20.556)
Yes. Mm-hmm.

Wendy (15:28.086)
And then

Wendy (15:32.001)
All of a sudden, you know, Giselle said, Well, Tia, like she said that you called me a scammer. Giselle said, you and I have not talked since your charges. I was floored. Okay. So yeah. Right. And when he's Well, I don't know where we go from here because if you know, you call me a scammer, then what what what is there? And

Kelli (15:46.55)
Okay, but you still call me a scammer.

Wendy (16:00.267)
She also brings up which I thought was a good of her to bring it up. You know, there's also n implications because she's Nigerian. And that's the narrative that people say that Nigerian people, in their culture, that's something that they do is scam. You didn't

Kelli (16:17.194)
I never I mean, I never heard that, but why would I?

Wendy (16:22.261)
No, I mean it's something kind of like you hear online when they talk about like people from other countries, like for whatever reason, it's always in Nigeria. Like these phone scams and these like taking money out of accounts. Do you know what I'm talking about? Like that's a Right. So sh of course she doesn't wanna be lumped in with that. And Giselle said, You know what? I I

Kelli (16:34.158)
got it. Yes, yes, yes.

Kelli (16:44.704)
No, of course not.

Wendy (16:46.733)
I never thought of it that way. I really I wanna apologize. Like I don't wanna say anything that's gonna hurt you legally. Not that it not that's gonna hurt you, but that's gonna hurt you legally.

Kelli (16:56.822)
That's the but that is the thing, like y you know it it's it's all optics, right? So if your ho if your friends, even your friends, in quotes, are saying you're a scammer, like that's not a good look. It implies that they may know something that, you know, that they shouldn't or something like that. Or they know more than they're leading on to.

Wendy (16:58.541)
Right.

Wendy (17:08.204)
Right.

Wendy (17:17.187)
Exactly.

Right. So a producer asks Wendy if she can move forward with Giselle and Wendy said, Listen, I'm at this point in my life and I know where I need to put her, you know? yeah, I can be cordial with her, I can kiki with her, but I I'm not gonna be trusting her with information and good for her. And then Giselle jumps into the whole thing about asking her for advice about, you know, going to Congress.

So, you know, Wendy starts giving her advice and the first thing the first bit of advice she gives her is, I don't wanna see you looking down at cards and reading, I am, you know, Giselle. She goes, Because that doesn't look good. And then she said, wear blue because that means you're trustworthy. Giselle's like, I was gonna wear pink. She's like, No, don't wear pink. She's like, Okay, no pink.

Kelli (18:06.21)
I never heard the blue made you look trustworthy, but noted.

Wendy (18:08.951)
I never heard that either, but I think I think blue is a great color. I think red is also a good power color. I mean, I I happen to love pink, but I don't even know that I would wear pink if I was going to Congress. I think I would do something more

Kelli (18:20.302)
Well, there must be a a color that's associated with you know, brain tumor awareness. Like there there's always a color associated to things like that. So maybe she should start there. And listen, Giselle's messy AF, but she's absolutely stunningly gorgeous. And she's gonna look good in any color she wears. So just look into that foundation and see what color that that represents them. I go with that.

Wendy (18:29.769)
That's a that's a good point.

Wendy (18:38.305)
Yes, she is. Very true.

Wendy (18:45.483)
Yeah. Good point. the next thing we see is Courtney and her husband are looking at houses and T is the realtor.

Kelli (18:53.898)
Not another housewife that doesn't really live in Potomac. I mean, for crying out loud, we just went through this with Angel, please.

Wendy (18:59.999)
Mm She's gotta be close though. She has to be close because he's been a coach there for three years of the Wizards.

Kelli (19:06.158)
Yeah, I know. But come on, man. And basketball's a long season. It's not like you know, it's not like football where you could

Basketball's a long season. Look, it already started and the and the finals aren't until June.

Wendy (19:23.139)
I would imagine that she's renting there at least. Even if she doesn't own a ho you know. She said that now well that's what she said. Now, you know, she's she's been a an MBA wife for a basketball wife, she said for almost two decades and you know, h he's been coaching there for three years. I think it's now time to put down roots someplace, which would mean

Kelli (19:26.402)
I would hope s you know, something. Right, maybe they're looking to purchase.

Kelli (19:43.436)
Right. Like hopefully he's gonna retire there, end his career there.

Wendy (19:46.689)
Right. Coaching isn't something you get right. It's not something you kinda jump all over with usually. Unless you get fired and then you gotta do what you gotta do.

So then the you know, Tia shows her the house, it's ten thousand square feet. after she's done showing her, she said, This isn't really my you know, my vibe and Tia's like, Yeah, I had a feeling the angles weren't really you. She's like, Let's catch up and then she sends Alexis to go look at the garage, which I kind of thought was weird.

Kelli (20:15.734)
I know. That was funny.

Wendy (20:19.592)
Courtney says she's not afraid of a project, so that's good to know. So when T is looking for something, she can, you know, maybe look for something that needs a little work.

And then she brings up about, I guess, the birthday party for her husband that she's gonna have. The next thing we see is the GNA is having a workout wellness situation. First of all, we have not heard about GNA in how long. What was I can't I can't even? I can't even.

Kelli (20:43.458)
Because it doesn't exist. Because it doesn't exist. They're having a workout wellness event. So they're gonna have an event even though they don't have a plan for their business. They don't have a business. They don't have a company. They don't have anything, but they're gonna have an event for it.

Wendy (20:56.185)
Right. No, and we see like Ashley and Giselle are talking about it and Ashley's talking about those those pants that she had, you know, the workout pants. And I'm like, You gotta be kidding me.

Kelli (21:08.162)
whatever raunchy things she said about them. And and when Robin comes in, she's like, what's the event? And Giselle's like, Well, i Miss Robin, if you weren't late, you would know. No, she wouldn't because we weren't late. We've been watching the whole episode and we don't know what the F the event is.

Wendy (21:25.11)
No we sure did not. We did not.

So after the event they sit down and they start talking and

You know, Robin brings up what was going on with the podcast about Wendy. So she said, you know

Wendy (21:50.713)
Tia informed Wendy that I called her the S word. And Robin said, scammer. And she said, yes. Like we're not saying the word. So then Robin is like, Well, I just got done telling you. Like, did you do when did you do that? Like, did you do that before we talked? And Giselle's like, no, no, no. That was way before we talked. I don't think it was. I think Robin I don't think it was.

Kelli (22:13.102)
I don't think it was either. I don't think it was either.

Wendy (22:18.233)
So then Ashley's like, Well to be fair, I think everyone has said that at some point. I'm like, No, Ashley, I don't think they have. And

Kelli (22:24.654)
I don't think so.

Wendy (22:28.493)
Giselle said, Well, speaking of Tia, we know that the dating site is true. So now she's bringing up that. And she's saying Tia doesn't know how to process it. And Robin said, Yeah, I get that. Giselle said, Well, she told Tia to go talk to Robin about it because she already talked to Tia about it. And Giselle and Robin are going to give Tia different information, right? Of dealing with this kind of infidelity thing. Because as we know, Robin

Kelli (22:56.236)
Right.

Wendy (22:58.369)
allows it and Giselle does not.

Kelli (23:01.42)
Right. Right.

Wendy (23:03.391)
So she's like Robin said, Yeah, you know, I met with her a couple weeks. no, she's told her to not tell the older girls, her children, 'cause she's like, I don't know what to do with the kids. She's Well, don't tell them for a while. Like, just let don't tell the kids for a little bit, which I ki I agree with that. Especially if I I don't think that this is like news around town, is it? Like, is it on like are the kids gonna find out? I don't know.

Kelli (23:31.778)
I now it is.

Wendy (23:33.197)
I mean, absolutely now it is. But I don't know. Like were were they of the age where they would have known this? I don't know.

Kelli (23:38.414)
Well the girls are older. The girl you know, the girls are older. She's got some older girls.

Wendy (23:43.265)
I know. I mean the yeah, the one's gonna be eighteen. Sienna's gonna be eighteen.

Kelli (23:46.415)
I mean if if Giselle said it on the if Giselle said what she said on the podcast, like, or they could be on a dating site and you're gonna hear about that in about six months, like that probably got out and people I'm sure we're investigating. We see people on social media, we see people commenting on our post. There's sleuths out there, man. They figure stuff out. So the older girls very well could have heard about something, but you know, they're old enough to kind of be able to process it.

Wendy (24:06.019)
Yeah.

Wendy (24:15.191)
Yeah. So Robin brings up j exactly what you said, what Giselle said. And she said, You know, we just did that on our podcast, reasonably shady. And Giselle's like, I I didn't even realize I did that. And Robin's like, Well, I already had a cutout. And she's gosh, you know, thank you. And Giselle's that's what we do. We have an editor to take care of that. I'm like, No, like Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, but even Ashley

Kelli (24:35.98)
And she's laughing. She's laughing so hard. She's a horrible friend, Giselle.

Wendy (24:42.935)
in the confessional when this whole thing she's like, Well, I think that should have just been left on the cutting room floor. Like, how dare Robin bring that up in front of other people? Well, the other people that were there were your friend Ashley and Giselle's friend Cal. So these are people that are all a part of this trio. It's not like it was some random stranger sh she brought this up in front of

Kelli (24:59.264)
Right. Right. And I'm sorry, Ashley, who ran and told Tia? You. So you used it for your storyline.

Wendy (25:06.177)
Right, right. Exactly, exactly. And Cal had already called out Giselle for being shady.

Kelli (25:14.616)
Yes.

Wendy (25:18.207)
So next it's Alexis' birthday party. Karen is the first to arrive and Ray is not gonna be joining them. I felt so bad for Courtney and her husband because none of the men showed up.

Kelli (25:32.31)
I know, and that was the whole point. She invited them with their husbands so he could fit into the group. Karen walked in like she was in a music video. She looked at like she was like walking in like Beyonce. I mean, this woman everything she does now bothers the heck out of me. Like I can't take it anymore.

Wendy (25:51.425)
Yeah. Tia comes, no Rob. she's like, Yeah, you know, my daughter has dance. Giselle then comes and she tells Tia that she had an issue with the fact that she decided to tell Wendy that she said the S word. And Courtney said, What's the S word? And Karen says stripper, right? Didn't she say stripper? And Giselle's like, No, scammer.

So funny. just I was like I thought you and I were friends that you you know, you could have shared that with you and it would have stayed with you. And then Monique shows up. I did not ex I did not think Monique was coming back. Did you?

Kelli (26:30.862)
Mm.

Kelli (26:35.2)
Me neither and honestly, I think I'm good on Monique. Like I don't I don't think we need a Monique anymore. I was happy to see her last season, but it got like mucky. I'm good.

Wendy (26:48.431)
It it get mucky and then we find out that Courtney met her a couple of weeks ago when she invited everyone to and I don't even remember seeing her there. Did you see her there? I didn't.

Kelli (26:56.958)
No. I wonder if Monique was a friend of and just nothing really popped off, so they kind of edited her out. I guess we'll see. I guess we'll see how she shows up this season.

Wendy (27:08.759)
Yeah. Yeah, because I mean, honestly, Courtney like saying I really like her energy. Like, you know, she's like I I mean, she thought that they were vibing.

Kelli (27:15.278)
Mm-hmm.

Kelli (27:19.074)
Yeah.

Wendy (27:24.365)
So then Tia said, you know, Wendy came to me and Giselle's so then where's your loyalty to me? And then Tia's right on it. She's like, well, that's funny, you know, coming from you. Giselle said, like, what are you talking about? She's like, it's amazing because of all the people that I know going through like these circumstances and you giving me such sound advice and support, like, imagine my surprise when Ashley told me you talked about it on your podcast.

Kelli (27:32.205)
Mm.

Kelli (27:53.857)
I mean, the knives are th being thrown in people's backs all over this this cast. Like you're like dodging, dodging knives.

Wendy (28:01.985)
Ex Yep. Yep.

Kelli (28:06.924)
I can't that was wild that Ashley did that. I couldn't believe that Ashley did that.

Wendy (28:09.057)
It was wild. I know, because then Ashley and her confessionals like, well, I felt like, you know, that wasn't right what Robin did by saying that in front of everybody. Not what Giselle did, but what Robin did, and I felt like Tia needed to get in front of it. No.

Kelli (28:22.584)
This is this is the problem with New York too. Everybody's mad at the person repeating what somebody said. How about the person who originally said it? Like this is what Housewives has become.

Wendy (28:27.17)
my gosh, yes.

Wendy (28:31.769)
Right.

Right. Right.

Mm-hmm.

Kelli (28:40.802)
Tattletaling. That's what Housewives has become, tattletailing.

Wendy (28:45.941)
It was yeah. So then Giselle says, Well, we were talking about men and like how they don't care about you and there's numerous reason that, you know, men act the way they do. And she's like, Right, right.

Kelli (28:58.05)
This was Giselle backstepping out of rails like Jackie Goldschneider at the last episode.

Wendy (29:03.609)
She's like, I Giselle's like, I didn't I didn't say Tia, I didn't I didn't say Rob and then Tia said Giselle, that's very close. And the thing that bothers me the most is as long as you can get a check and anybody's pain or anybody's family, that's free game. Like you're just about making coin and that is what it was about. It's what it was about.

Kelli (29:24.91)
Spot on. Mm-hmm.

Wendy (29:29.049)
Then Stacy and Robin arrive and kind of Robin confirms what Giselle said because she was there and now Giselle's even getting mad at Robin again at this point.

Kelli (29:40.524)
Yeah, she says she threw her under the bus by bringing it up and then Ash but Ashley's the one that told Tia, How's Robin throwing you under the bus? Like what is going on? Have we all lost our sense of reality?

Wendy (29:49.369)
Mm-hmm.

Wendy (29:53.389)
Yeah. It's crazy 'cause now they're all like yelling at each other. Like this is crazy, right? And Karen's in Giselle's ear and she's saying, Just say I don't remember, just say I don't remember. I was like, What? Now you're getting advice from Karen?

Kelli (30:07.296)
I mean, all of the ladies' reaction like, Ooh, Giselle, that's low.

Wendy (30:11.779)
Yeah.

Wendy (30:15.735)
Wendy shows up without her man. Ashley, they ask if she's coming. I well, I guess he doesn't want to talk about the whole situation. So they a Ashley's not there yet. They ask if she's coming, and they say yes, and she's bringing Josh. And thank God, because at least there was another man that showed up there. I mean.

Kelli (30:20.494)
Where's happy Annie?

Kelli (30:25.388)
Yeah. Yeah.

Kelli (30:39.714)
Yeah. You know what I didn't understand? Courtney announced that they were gonna be eating family style. The flower arrangements were, you know, the same as like Salt Lake City. The how do you eat family style with those big ass flower arrang there was a whole line of flower arrangement. Family style, you put the stuff in the middle and everybody takes it. That's family style.

Wendy (30:57.793)
Right, and you pass it around.

Yeah. and it's Caribbean food, which I think that's kinda cool 'cause yeah. so then they're sitting down and they're eating and Stacy says to Robin, Stacy says that Robin is a better friend than Giselle is to Tia, and Giselle is actually Tia's friend. I was like, All right, she's actually right. And then Tia says to Ashley, You came in looking like an engagement announcement.

Kelli (31:08.249)
yeah.

Wendy (31:31.375)
And Ash is like, Yeah, okay. And then Stacy's like, Well, because Courtney made a comment about like none of the men are here and Stacy said, Well, in defense of Eddie and Timo, like I'm not gonna shame a man who's at home watching his kids. Okay.

Wendy (31:51.885)
It it is hard it is hard, right? So then another c

Kelli (31:54.169)
Yeah. Yeah. I mean listen, that guy doesn't seem to want anything to do with the show. I mean most of them don't.

Wendy (31:59.027)
No, no. And I the I mean the then it's a friend of his coach Jason comes in, and then some other couple comes in. I'm like, I like this is so weird. then Karen feels the need to give Josh and Ashley like relationship advice. I was like, what is I was like, what is that about?

Kelli (32:08.28)
They had that whole second table was empty.

Kelli (32:19.95)
'Cause hers is so stellar.

Kelli (32:27.81)
my god.

Wendy (32:29.519)
And then Stacy announces that Timo asked her to marry him, and the ladies say, Congratulations. And Courtney's like, like, where's the ring? And she's like, Well, he proposed with another ring, besides this one, and it's being resized. Well, what? Okay, Stacy. So Courtney wants to be her planner. I mean, it's very obvious.

Kelli (32:46.658)
Yeah, I don't know.

Kelli (32:54.806)
Yeah, it's not happening.

Wendy (32:56.749)
This was so awkward, this whole exchange about you know, I'm gonna be your planner.

Kelli (33:00.846)
And like why yeah, like why was Stacy acting like all she had to say was like, thank you so much. We actually have somebody. Somebody I've used in the past, but thank you so much.

Wendy (33:10.127)
Mm-hmm.

Wendy (33:14.435)
Mean to say she has an award winning planner who's very credible?

Kelli (33:18.572)
Yeah, like I that was so low.

Wendy (33:22.775)
It was very low. And then but Courtney's not letting it go. She's like asking her all these questions. Then why did you call me? Why were you asking me? And Stacey's like, I just wanted to get to know you.

Kelli (33:33.23)
Courtney, it's probably because there's not going to be a wedding. no, wait. Actually, we do see a wedding, don't we? Mm, we do. Why was Cynthia there?

Wendy (33:38.005)
Yeah, I do w I think we do see a wedding.

Okay, so then thank God Cynthia showed up because then Cynthia Bailey comes in and I don't know if you noticed, but she went up to Giselle first to say hi, and then Wendy and then Courtney. So

I g I mean she said that she was you know, doing work in town and Courtney said that they were getting together so she stopped by. I know that Cynthia has been very busy with doing a lot of projects, like working on movies and and other other projects. So she probably was just in town.

Kelli (34:12.706)
Yeah, it's just odd.

Wendy (34:14.519)
Listen, I honestly I like Cynthia. I don't mind if Cynthia pop up anytime she's welcome.

Kelli (34:19.171)
Yeah.

Wendy (34:21.305)
And she was needed then, to be quite honest with you.

then Wendy says, she brings it up, Ashley, before you came in, there was a conversation about you. You threw Giselle under the bus. I was like, I thought we were gonna get past that. And Ashley's like, Well, there was some information that was shared at the GNA event, and I found it weird that that Robin wouldn't just like take it out of the podcast. Like, why does she have to bring it to our friend group? I'm like, Robin's like, Excuse me? Like, what are you talking about?

Kelli (34:55.852)
Yeah, Robin's like, You're the one that went on stage and started shit b you know, laughing about Tia's situation. And she's right. That was way worse than what Robin did. Or what even what Giselle did on the podcast. What Ashley did was way worse than that.

Wendy (35:02.797)
Right. Sh absolutely. Yep. Yep.

Wendy (35:12.557)
Right. And then Ashley starts yelling, You brought it back, and Robin said, Your friend brought it back, meaning Giselle, you're the messy one, and she's right. The two they're they're those two are messy. Messy one and messy two.

Kelli (35:24.418)
Yep. They're I I mean they're they're a yep. And honestly, that was Robin's role before she had this come to Jesus moment.

Wendy (35:36.429)
Yeah. I mean, poor Cynthia, she's just sitting there eating her food, like looking around, like, what did I walk in on? my gosh.

Kelli (35:42.22)
And how about this guy Alexei's friends? They're probably like, What the hell'd you invite us to?

Wendy (35:47.287)
Yeah. So then they Courtney does a cheers to life, cheers to wealth and health, and Cynthia says friendship and that was the worst birthday party I think I've seen in long time.

Kelli (35:59.355)
That was a bad listen. As far as a wedding planner throwing a party on housewives, Courtney, you could have done better than that. I mean, first of all, don't call it a party. Call it a dinner, because that's what it was. An intimate dinner party. If you said that, okay. But this was not a party. There was a whole damn table, a whole banquet table.

Wendy (36:06.331)
yes.

Mm.

Wendy (36:15.108)
Yeah.

Wendy (36:23.192)
Yeah.

Kelli (36:27.936)
Empty, nobody there, empty chairs.

Wendy (36:29.603)
Because none of the men showed up.

Kelli (36:32.15)
Right. Right. 'Cause that's where all the other guests would have went if if the housewives brought their Yeah, yeah.

Wendy (36:33.314)
I mean

Wendy (36:38.593)
Yeah, so she was prepared for the husbands to show up and they no show to her. But Stacy had it was rude. Yeah.

Kelli (36:42.54)
Yeah, that was ki that was really rude because she said that was the whole point.

Wendy (36:50.029)
Yeah, it was. I totally agree. It was rude. But Stacy had no problem like throwing her shade saying, like, I how why would I have you with these balloons and an empty party and these decorations? I was like, All right, Stacy. Baby's over. She mentioned the baby's breath.

Kelli (37:00.45)
Baby's breath.

Kelli (37:07.342)
Someone's gotta break up the roses.

Wendy (37:10.113)
I don't know. Honestly, I'm not a fan of baby's breath either. It is funny.

Kelli (37:13.312)
No.

So funny. It was a quick episode though. I like that.

Wendy (37:20.183)
Yeah, it was. It was a quick episode. so yeah, that's what we have for episode number three. I don't know. I don't does Potomac have a after show? I don't think they do.

Kelli (37:32.322)
I don't think they do yet. I'm sure they will eventually though.

Wendy (37:35.477)
Okay. All right. So until next time, thank you for watching and listening. Please subscribe and give us five star reviews. Bye.

Kelli (37:44.216)
Bye.
