RHOC S20 E16 Recap: Gina vs. Heather, Casita Drama & Tamra's Friendship Games!
RHOC Season 20, Episode 16 — “Mad Money”
In The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 20, Episode 16, “Mad Money,” the ladies wrap up their Tokyo trip, but the drama follows them all the way home. Between luxury shopping, accusations of financial judgment, friendship betrayals, and emotional struggles, the episode explores how money, success, and old reputations can complicate relationships.
The biggest showdown happens between Gina Kirschenheiter and Heather Dubrow after Gina discovers that Heather has been questioning her expensive designer purchases. Heather insists she is concerned about Gina's financial future, pointing out that real estate commissions can be unpredictable and that Gina has six children to support. Gina, however, sees Heather's comments as condescending and judgmental. Emily comes to Gina's defense, revealing that Gina is on track to close approximately $20 million in real estate transactions this year. Gina believes she has built a legitimate business and doesn't need Heather acting as her financial planner.
Things get even more personal when Jenn Pedranti compliments Gina on how far she has come since the days of the infamous casita. Gina pushes back, explaining that she never lived in the casita with her children and was never poor. She feels the women continue to misrepresent her past instead of recognizing her accomplishments.
Meanwhile, Vicki Gunvalson and Tamra Judge attempt to repair their rocky friendship. Vicki remains upset that Tamra has been telling people her daughter, Briana, isn't speaking to her. Tamra apologizes, but years of accumulated resentment make it difficult for the women to move forward completely. Vicki also discusses her relationship with Mike and her attitude toward engagement rings, revealing that she once bought herself a $110,000 ring.
Back in Orange County, Jenn launches Sexy Fit, her fitness venture aimed at helping women feel confident, fit, and sexy. With support from former Housewife Gretchen Rossi and Slade Smiley, Jenn begins working toward building a business around her passion. However, her growing friendship with Tamra raises questions for Gina and Emily, who wonder whether Tamra genuinely values Jenn or is using the friendship to provoke Heather.
Carmella faces a more emotional chapter as her daughter Presley approaches adulthood and prepares to leave for college. Carmella struggles with the thought of an empty nest while questioning her relationship with Danny and admitting that she doesn't know what her future looks like. Shannon and Jenn offer support as she tries to navigate several major life changes at once. Shannon also shares heartbreaking news about her beloved dog Archie, who has been diagnosed with cancer and may have only four to six months left without radiation treatment.
Elsewhere, Gina and Travis discuss a prenuptial agreement, reflecting Gina's desire to protect herself financially after her divorce. Emily also recognizes that she and Shane have been struggling with communication and commits to making more time for their relationship.
The episode closes with plenty of unresolved tension. Gina wants recognition for her success rather than scrutiny, Heather believes she's offering practical advice, and Tamra's friendships continue to raise questions about her intentions.
The takeaway: “Mad Money” isn't just about designer handbags and luxury shopping. It's about financial independence, class perceptions, old reputations, and the fine line between concern and judgment.

Lori (00:00.738)
Hi, welcome to E Wine Whenever. I'm Laurie.
Wendy (00:04.239)
And I'm Wendy.
Kelli (00:06.247)
I'm Kelly.
Lori (00:07.654)
And tonight we're discussing Real Housewives of Orange County, episode sixteen, Mad Money. What do you think about the title? I was like mm
Wendy (00:18.415)
I mean, there's a lot of talk about money. Mm-hmm.
Kelli (00:18.813)
I mean, I kinda get it. Yeah, I kinda get it 'cause Gina was mad because they're talking about her money. But I I honestly felt like you, Laura, as I was watching the episode, like when we started Salt Lake the other night, you were like, I hated this episode, it sucked. I kinda felt like that about this episode. 'Cause it's just a bunch of grown ass women talking about each other.
Lori (00:23.904)
About the money? I get. Okay. Okay.
Wendy (00:25.701)
Yeah.
Lori (00:41.814)
Yeah. Just just hypocrisy and BS Hypocrisy and bullshit. Like what? What?
Wendy (00:41.894)
Yeah.
Kelli (00:44.081)
Behind each other's backs. Yeah.
Wendy (00:45.905)
s stop. By the way, we can't we cannot say that word because I had to re-edit our Salt Lake City episode because we were not gonna get monetized because of that word. So I had to edit it the w the S word on the end of bull. So do not say that w word or we can't
Kelli (00:59.507)
What word?
Lori (01:00.118)
Yeah.
Kelli (01:08.061)
Can you text it to me? Cause I don't know what we're talking about. Text me the word so I don't say it.
Wendy (01:13.487)
Hypocrisy and bull.
Lori (01:13.688)
Hypocrisy and bull.
Kelli (01:17.085)
really? is that why we weren't getting monetized?
Wendy (01:18.155)
Yeah. Yeah, so then I I I deleted the because it was it's airing tomorrow. I deleted it, I re-edited, I took that word out, and now we should be able to get ads on there. Not that we're getting that much, but don't say that word. It just makes it harder for me. No!
Lori (01:19.766)
Yeah, I saw that we weren't getting monetized for that one.
Kelli (01:36.435)
Okay. Can we say the F word?
Wendy (01:40.146)
I mean you can, yes. Listen, you can, but that particular word, and again, try not to say it, because if you say it too much, then it'll also demonetize us. Yeah. So I do, yeah, I do try and go through it. And like if I see there's an excessive amount of the F word, I will delete it. I wasn't delete. I know. I wasn't I wasn't deleting the S word, but after I saw it, I was like,
Kelli (01:49.799)
Got us. I mean got it. Got us.
Lori (01:59.566)
Okay. Well, there's no guarantees. But we'll try. Yeah, that'll be a tough one.
Kelli (02:03.165)
That's gonna be a tough one.
Wendy (02:09.263)
Gosh, and then I read the community standards. So yes, no no more S word, please.
Kelli (02:13.755)
Okay. This is gonna be hard, people. Could be a totally different show now.
Lori (02:14.633)
All right. So we'll see. We'll say. Yeah, we'll see what happens. All right. Totally different show. All right. So the women began their last day in Tokyo. We see Gina and Emily in the room discussing the argument from the night before. Gina says it was weird and she doesn't want to bring all the S word from Orange County to Japan. And then yeah.
Wendy (02:36.485)
Ha ha ha
Kelli (02:39.515)
Okay, Gina, you don't want to bring all of that from Orange County to Japan. Maybe tell your friend across from you to stop bringing up all everything everybody has said about each other. Because then you're bringing the BS from OC to Japan. Emily's I mean, Emily and Tamara. Tamra's the worst, but
Wendy (02:51.685)
Yes.
Lori (02:51.784)
Mm-hmm.
Lori (02:59.927)
Tam is so burst.
Wendy (03:01.275)
I think Emily's right there next to her. She is stirs that pot. She really does.
Lori (03:03.482)
yeah, she's not too bad. Mm-hmm. She's not tooin' too bad.
Kelli (03:06.461)
So real quick, I I have I think I have figured out why everybody is scared of Tamara. You know, ever everybody says they're scared of Tamara. Well, we all know people like this. There are people out there who make things up about people, right? Lies, tell stories. And some people do it and it's like whatever, they're harmless. Some people do it and it's very dangerous. It's dangerous to the livelihood of the people.
Lori (03:16.845)
Mm.
Wendy (03:17.009)
Mm-hmm.
Wendy (03:24.187)
Yeah.
Kelli (03:35.784)
being spoken about. That is Tamara. Because I know we'll get there, but the whole Brianna not talking to Vicki thing, I totally do not believe that. There is no way in this world Vicki's not speaking to her daughter. Under any circumstances, Vicki will get on a plane and make sure that she's speaking to her daughter. She never told Tamra that, but Tamra took Vicki saying we had an argument and spun it into her daughter's not even talking to her.
Lori (03:43.725)
Mm-hmm.
Wendy (04:02.767)
Yes.
Lori (04:02.931)
In two. Mm-hmm.
Kelli (04:05.671)
This is this is what's dangerous about Tamra. She's a liar and she does it where it can harm someone.
Wendy (04:14.191)
Yeah, it's true. Yeah.
Kelli (04:15.025)
That's why everybody's scared of her. All right, carry on, Laura.
Lori (04:18.719)
Okay. And then we see Heather figuring out like the international stepmaster in the hotel gym. I thought that was a cute little scene. And I love and I love her when she wears no makeup. She looks great. let's see. She does, she looks great. And then they're in the van on the way to the vintage designer store and Tamra lets us know that she's worried that she has to poop. I didn't need to know this. I didn't need to know this.
Kelli (04:25.349)
Yes. That was good.
Kelli (04:32.049)
She does.
Wendy (04:44.133)
Thank you. No, we
Lori (04:48.145)
And and then says Tamar says people in Tokyo don't hold on to old things. So that's why there's a lot of stores that have you know, a lot of consignment stores.
Wendy (05:00.047)
It was expensive though. When they were doing the conversion for that vintage stuff, that stuff was not I didn't think that those were good prices. I think you could do better in the US.
Lori (05:04.173)
Yeah, it was expensive.
Kelli (05:07.645)
Well, the Louis Vuitton jacket was only like seven fifty. I thought that was a good price. Right, right. Yeah.
Lori (05:10.893)
Well that was the one item that Right had a decent price. And it was really funny when they were fighting over it. I thought that was cute. I thought that was funny. Like Right, 'cause it wasn't right. Yeah.
Wendy (05:13.219)
Yeah.
Kelli (05:17.895)
That was funny.
Wendy (05:19.065)
Yeah. And that's why they were fighting for it because it did have a decent price. But what about Heather saying that she didn't want like the the the bad energy from someone else's stuff?
Kelli (05:21.543)
Yeah.
Lori (05:29.396)
yeah, how do you like that? Just say you don't want used stuff, Heather, that's okay.
Kelli (05:30.831)
I actually Yeah, but I had we not just heard the story on New York from Carol about the the watch, I would have agreed with you and said, she just doesn't want anybody's old stuff. but hearing that story, I'm like, there might be something to that. You don't know what energy is being brought with these items.
Lori (05:41.021)
the watch.
Wendy (05:41.925)
The Cardier tank watch.
Lori (05:52.546)
There there there is exactly this is true. This is true. This is why my daughter and I do a lot of vintage shopping and we often go to estate sales. So when we go to an estate sale, we go to that estate sale with a mindset of we're not just picking through someone's belongings. We really look at those belongings and like think about that person and like
have joy for the life that they lived and really appreciate their items and try and look at it from that kind of perspective. And I think things like that help with that transfer of energy. Like that's how we look at it. so let's see, Tamara asks Vicky about her knee. and in Vicki's confessionals she says Tamara sobers up the next day and acts like nothing happened, but Vicky does not forget.
Kelli (06:33.393)
Yeah. Yeah.
Wendy (06:47.639)
It's very true. It's true.
Kelli (06:47.923)
That's right. That's what she does. I thought Tamara wasn't gonna drink so much anymore.
Lori (06:49.133)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
Yeah, well.
Wendy (06:55.899)
Sounds good on paper. Yeah.
Lori (06:57.31)
Yeah. So yeah, they get to the store and Vicky has her conversion calculator out and ready. I thought that was funny. And in her confessional, Gina says she came to Japan to eat and shop, but mostly to shop. And then Emily and Gina meet with Shannon upstairs in the store and Emily asks, like, what happened last night? She said, You know, we went to bed and we didn't
Kelli (06:57.519)
It sure does. Or on her podcast.
Lori (07:22.039)
happened. Shannon says when they back went back into the room, Vicky was gone and Tamar was drinking champagne straight out of the bottle, but it ended up to be sake. Yeah. That's strong.
Kelli (07:32.655)
Oof, that's strong. I hap I happen to actually really like sake, but it's very strong. Like I can't drink as much sake as I drink, you know, Matapuchiana.
Lori (07:38.506)
It is very strong.
Regular wine. Yes. I like a sake bomb, which is a Japanese beer, and then they drop a shot of sake in it and then you drink it. That's good. I used to drink that all the time. Let's see. So they go upstairs and Emily asks Shannon if Vicky knows that Tamara has been telling people that her daughter Brienne is not speaking to her. Again.
Kelli (07:46.875)
Mm.
Lori (08:11.369)
Emily trying to spread that. Spread it, spread it. Spread the peanut butter and jelly on the bread. So at the store, Jean is like in her element. She's very excited about, you know, shopping. And then downstairs there's Heather, Tamra, and Jen, right? I think that's who it was. I was trying to Yeah, and Tamra says,
Wendy (08:13.495)
Absolutely, absolutely.
Kelli (08:15.037)
Yeah. Yeah. Mm-hmm.
Lori (08:38.722)
what's Gina doing up there? What is she buying? And
Lori (08:47.155)
And yeah, you know, they're talking about the sustainability of her income and Tamra points out in her confessional that real estate is based on commission and unpredictable and how Jean has six kids and they're not even in college yet. I don't know yeah. So busy.
Wendy (09:00.241)
Come on.
Kelli (09:00.861)
Listen, Tamra, just because you bombed it at the real estate market doesn't mean Gina is.
Lori (09:06.42)
Right.
Wendy (09:07.259)
Gina's killing it in real estate.
Kelli (09:08.669)
Mm-hmm, mm-hmm.
Lori (09:09.569)
But now now think about this though. Really, I think with the amount that they said she was making, I think it's only like four hundred, five hundred thousand from those sales. So it's not like yeah, it's not like an extraordinary amount. But between that between that, yeah. But I'm saying for I'm saying for a California lifestyle.
Kelli (09:26.151)
What like three percent of twenty million or whatever?
Kelli (09:32.259)
I I would like to make four hundred thousand dollars a year.
Lori (09:38.977)
But I think between that, she's been doing a lot of commercials lately. She's on the show for all these years.
Kelli (09:43.485)
She's on the show.
Wendy (09:45.681)
For how many years now? She's gotta be on over ten years at this point, right? Yeah.
Kelli (09:49.843)
Mm-hmm. I think that she and Emily are creeping up on ten, if not there already. Yeah.
Lori (09:50.41)
Right, so
Wendy (09:54.114)
Yeah, yeah.
Lori (09:54.43)
Yeah. And then Heather brings up that, you know, their photo shoot that they did that was twelve thousand dollars each, her and Emily, for like a local magazine chute. So they paid the stylists and borrowed like four outfits each for that price. Which I don't know, you could have bought your own.
Wendy (10:18.641)
Listen, th it's something they wanted to do. It's a business write-off. They can expense it. What are they why are they watching somebody else's pocket? Like why are they such pocket watchers? Give me a break. They're just
Lori (10:26.541)
Money, right? Right. Right. And Tamara says Tamra's like, that's irresponsible.
Kelli (10:28.921)
Always always thou.
Kelli (10:34.823)
Ha ha Look who's talking irresponsible.
Lori (10:39.797)
Mm-hmm.
Wendy (10:40.921)
I will say this, I don't think Tamar spends a lot of money on on things. I don't.
Kelli (10:45.149)
Well, she certainly doesn't she certainly doesn't spend money on clothes, and I thought it was hysterical when she was talking about Gina's style because she is the poster child for Sheehan, Tamra. So please let's not comment on Gina's style. And Gina has come a long way, Tamra, and you're still wearing the trashy stuff you've always worn.
Wendy (10:56.867)
Yeah. Yeah. She definitely doesn't spend money on clothing.
Wendy (11:02.499)
A long way.
Wendy (11:09.879)
I liked the evolution of Gina's style. I think she looks amazing. I think she looks I think she looks amazing. And I you know, I don't I think it's really c it's crappy that Tamra does it, that she judges her on what she spends her money on. And she's got like she said, she's got six kids. Yes, three of them are Travis's, but still sh you know, she's responsible for six children.
Kelli (11:12.622)
Absolutely. She looks amazing.
Lori (11:15.17)
Yeah.
Wendy (11:32.313)
And she's killing it. And if she wants to spend money to have someone do her laundry and cook for her, let her spend money for that. She wants her time. That is the most valuable thing I have. I say it all the time. Time is the most valuable thing I have. And I'm sure she feels the same way. So if she can pay something somebody to do something and she'll have that time, good for her.
Kelli (11:38.779)
Right.
Lori (11:51.767)
Mm-hmm. Yeah, so
Kelli (11:51.912)
Yep. I remember Rachel Fuda saying that, like, I'd rather pay someone to cook and clean my house than to pay for a nanny because like my time with my children is precious.
Wendy (12:00.505)
Yeah.
Lori (12:04.267)
Right. So Vicky acknowledges that Gina has become much more bougie than she was a few years ago. And then Heather starts talking about how when she was first an actress and people got roles and then they would make these big purchases and then there would not be another role and blah, blah, blah. So I want to know.
Wendy (12:04.271)
Yeah.
Lori (12:32.897)
Do you think Heather is talking about Gina's real estate career or is she talk is the gig that she's talking about Gina's real estate or is the gig the housewife's gig?
Wendy (12:51.395)
Well, I think she's talking about the real estate gig because we all know the housewife gig is gonna end. There it has an expiration date.
Lori (12:57.645)
Well that's what that's what I'm saying. I that's what I'm wondering. Like what was she really talking about?
Kelli (13:00.189)
I think it's a cause she said this isn't gonna last. And I think in that moment she was talking about housewives. I think it's a combination of both. Yep. Just cause she made that reference, like and she put her hand up like this.
Lori (13:08.183)
That's what I d I thought it was kind of a combo of both, yes.
Wendy (13:11.245)
Yeah. Okay, that could very well be.
Lori (13:17.567)
Mm-hmm, mm-hmm. That's what I was thinking.
Wendy (13:17.733)
Right.
Kelli (13:20.253)
Mm-hmm.
Wendy (13:20.815)
You know though, I mean, the way it was framed to Gina was that she was comparing her real estate career to an acting career. And they're not the same. Yes, i she is based on commission, but once you once you build up a clientele and you continue to work hard, you know, you're not you're not starting at the bottom and, you know, waiting for your next thing. You have a funnel filled with prospects and you just gotta keep working it. So I don't know. I I either way I just thought it was insulting.
I I I don't blame
Kelli (13:51.07)
Well, the best was when Gina said, If Heather was really concerned about my career, why didn't she use me as an agent to find her kid a rental near school? She's right.
Lori (13:57.697)
As an age.
Wendy (13:59.056)
A absolutely. Yes, absolutely.
Lori (14:02.954)
Right.
And then this is where we have that funny scene when the girls are fighting about that well priced coat. And then Vicky says she's gonna sit down 'cause her feels like her leg is gonna give out and then we see her on the floor. She says she fell.
Wendy (14:18.801)
I think somebody pushed me.
Kelli (14:18.931)
I mean, listen, I yeah. I think she was kidding. But I'm very quick to call Shannon and Vicky out on their shtick. I don't think that was shtick. I think she really misjudged where that seat was. 'Cause there were boxes there. So she tried to avoid Yeah.
Wendy (14:23.481)
She was
Lori (14:28.469)
No. Seat was, yeah. Right on the seat. Yeah. I love how I love how she said, look, I cracked the floor. That's good.
Wendy (14:35.737)
I think sh
Kelli (14:38.855)
Ha ha ha
Wendy (14:40.429)
I think she has serious knee problems. Like this has been going on all season. I I mean, does she does she say does she need to have a knee replacement? Is that what she's trying to avoid?
Lori (14:49.661)
I yeah, I think she's trying to avoid that. And you know what else I wonder? I wonder about her I wonder if she has any kind of balance issues from her ear. You know, 'cause she has that whole cochlear implant, the whole surgeries, you know, the whole nonsense.
Kelli (14:50.621)
I don't know.
Wendy (15:02.831)
Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Kelli (15:07.121)
Right, right, right. Her shoe choice is poor for bad knees, let's face it. You she shouldn't be wearing a heel. Any heel. She should be wearing flats. She should just be wearing hokas. Just get them in every color you possibly can. Nobody's gonna judge you.
Lori (15:11.229)
Abs well, bad knees and bad balance. Right.
Wendy (15:12.047)
Definitely.
She should be wearing hokas. She should just be wearing hokas. I'm sorry.
Lori (15:18.399)
Yes.
Wendy (15:22.543)
Right. No. I mean w we may still judge you, but who cares? Who who cares if we judge you?
Lori (15:22.861)
That's right.
Kelli (15:28.069)
Not on your shoe choice though if you're wearing the Hokas.
Lori (15:28.107)
Yeah, who cares? Right, right. She won't fall.
So then we see Carmela with her daughter Presley, who's approaching her eighteenth birthday and she's preparing to graduate and leave for college and you know, her family life is really gonna change and for her birthday, Carmella says, You know, what c you know, what kind of gift can we get you? And she says, You can get a nose job.
Lori (16:01.167)
and then Carmela says
Kelli (16:02.131)
I'm sure that's a big graduation present in the O C.
Lori (16:04.991)
Yeah. And then Carmela says she's reliving twenty years ago the same conversation with her mom and she says how she rebelled as a teenager. So she's really trying to pick her battles with her children. But I did like how her daughter said, It's broken out her nose.
Wendy (16:23.813)
W what are your thoughts on this whole Carmela, the fact that, you know, she decided or she couldn't go to Tokyo and they keep giving her a a scene in every episode because she's getting her episodic rate if she's on the episode, regardless of how much she's on the episode. So do you th
Kelli (16:41.853)
I think there's some producer out there doing her a solid and getting her paid. Cause you know, that's a big thing that comes up on the Golden Life with Sonya, how Dorinda cut her out of that one trip to Bluestone Manor, and I guess that lasted three episodes, and she lost out on money for three episodes because nobody was filming her. And I think there's a producer looking out for Carmela, making sure she gets paid.
Lori (16:46.189)
That's what I think, too.
Wendy (16:51.22)
yes.
Lori (17:01.357)
huh.
Lori (17:08.011)
Yeah, somebody must like her.
Kelli (17:09.619)
Mm-hmm.
Lori (17:12.215)
So they're cleaning out Presley's closet and Carmella, you know, says how close she is to her fr her children, that they're you know, she's friends with her children and that, you know, Presley leaving is kinda heartbreaking for her.
So then we go to the Harajuko store. I don't know. I don't get that whole I don't get that whole gig. Yeah. Not my gig. It is a thing. Yeah. and then we see Tamara and Emily in the store. And Tamara says, don't bring Gina in the store. And Emily says, she's very into shopping. And Tamara says, has she always been like that?
Wendy (17:34.852)
It's a thing.
Kelli (17:36.411)
It's definitely a thing. It's not my gig, but it is a thing.
Lori (17:58.222)
And then Emily says, Well, she's always been stylish and then in the confessional, Tamra says that fashion hasn't been her strong point and then the production doesn't flash back. so Emily says she doesn't worry about Gina's spending. She thinks Gina's smart with her money. And sh you know, Emily also says that Gina's real estate career is, you know, she's on track to make
Wendy (18:09.403)
Right.
Lori (18:28.065)
you know, sell twenty million in real estate transactions this year. So
Wendy (18:33.125)
Yeah. I I agree. I think that Gina is smart with her money because, you know, she she did get a divorce and she was Yes. Right. Right.
Lori (18:39.947)
I think that she has to be. I don't think she has a choice.
Kelli (18:42.803)
She doesn't have a choice, exactly. She also has a husband, I'm sorry, ex husband who obviously does very well when they moved to OC. They bought a house in Koto de Casa. That's not cheap. So her ex husband, who is also contributing to her children's funding, does very well. So it's not like she's a single mom, and and I mean, I'm sorry, she is a single mom, but it's not like she's 100% financially responsible for her children.
Wendy (19:00.867)
Right. Right.
Lori (19:00.991)
Right. Yeah. Right. Right.
Kelli (19:12.89)
It's fifty fifty.
Lori (19:13.291)
Right. Right. And I'm sure he'll pay for half the college or all the college or whatever.
Wendy (19:14.522)
And
Kelli (19:17.971)
Course. They I'm sure if he's in finance they have five twenty nine plans, you know. Right.
Lori (19:23.008)
Everything will set up, yeah.
Wendy (19:24.665)
And Travis's baby mama, although she's crazy, has tons of money as well for his three children. So, you know, these are very valid points that Tamar is not considering.
Kelli (19:29.925)
Exactly. Exactly.
Lori (19:35.809)
Right.
Kelli (19:36.082)
Because because she's that dangerous person that will only she'll put out lies and she'll put out you know only put out this much when really the story's this. She's horrible. Tamra's horrible. and anybody s still supporting Tamara, I can't I I just I can't wrap my head around it. She's a horrible person. She might listen, I'm gonna go into the new season of Jersey with an open mind, especially based off of the homily today.
Lori (19:46.646)
Right.
Lori (19:53.377)
Yeah, we don't we don't know what you're doing.
Wendy (20:02.186)
that's exciting.
Kelli (20:06.009)
at mass. But I think Tamara has almost taken the role of of my most hated housewife. I can't honestly. Yeah, I think she surpassed Arisa.
Lori (20:07.468)
Okay.
Lori (20:14.349)
She surpassed she surpassed Teresa.
Wendy (20:18.948)
Hmm.
Lori (20:21.043)
Wow, that's ain't huh.
Kelli (20:22.939)
I know.
Lori (20:24.213)
And then we go back to the hotel and Emily tells Gina about what Tamara has related to her. And of course, Tamara has relayed only about Heather's part in the conversation. So Gina's kind of mad. Yes, she is Jacob. So that, you know, she's has a business and it's not just a gig and she feels Heather has no appreciation for the pressure of being
Kelli (20:38.897)
Yes. Yes.
Gets jacked up.
Lori (20:53.345)
financially responsible for herself and her children, which she's right. She's certain
Kelli (20:58.131)
She's right. Well, honestly, because Heather, other than Housewives, hasn't really done anything in years.
Wendy (21:05.829)
Well, she she she has an IMDB. We I mean this has been discussed many times.
Lori (21:06.133)
Right. She's done some acting, right?
Kelli (21:12.387)
Right, but currently and for the past few years, it's not like she's been on any shows other than Housewives.
Lori (21:18.389)
Right, right.
Wendy (21:18.619)
She is married to a very successful plastic surgeon. I mean
Kelli (21:21.905)
Right. Right. So she's that's what that's the point. She's living off of Terry's success right now. Not that she hasn't had her own success in the past, but
Lori (21:31.529)
Right, right. Yeah. But it's a totally different situation. Gina's situation, Heather's situation totally different. And yeah. Yeah. Well there's a big difference between Heather and everybody. So and Gina says Heather's not her mom or her financial planner.
Wendy (21:35.801)
Yeah, it's totally they are.
Kelli (21:38.119)
Well yeah, I mean there's a big difference in net worth.
Lori (21:51.788)
And then the girls dress in their Harajuko inspired outfits for the evening in Tokyo. I thought they look cute and
Wendy (21:57.138)
I thought they looked cute. I did. I did too.
Kelli (21:59.336)
They looked adorable, I'll be honest with you. Every single one of them. I mean, Shannon really messed up those bangs on Vicky, but.
Lori (22:02.583)
Yeah.
Lori (22:06.701)
Don't do hairdressing. Yeah. Yeah.
Wendy (22:07.025)
Mm-hmm.
Kelli (22:09.831)
But didn't we all have that haircut at some point in our life with the crooked bangs? I know I did. I'm pretty sure Terry was responsible for it.
Lori (22:14.905)
yeah, yeah.
Lori (22:18.965)
Yeah. So Vicky and Shannon are coordinating with matching blue wigs and outfits. And then then they go to that I don't know how to say it. Shibu Shibu Shibua crossing, which is the most crowded crossing in the world. Isn't that wild? And it was just like so orderly. Can you imagine a crossing like that in New York? No.
Wendy (22:38.979)
Yeah. That's yeah.
Kelli (22:39.293)
That was wild.
Wendy (22:45.585)
No, I cannot.
Kelli (22:47.943)
No.
Lori (22:48.821)
No. And then they go to dinner and Emily compares Vicky and Tamara to aged up twins that appear in the movie The Shiny.
Kelli (23:03.037)
That was so funny. That was so funny.
Lori (23:05.431)
That was funny.
Wendy (23:06.595)
That was funny.
Lori (23:10.303)
And then the girls are teasing Shannon about how and who the hell is Steve Gutenberg? 'Cause I don't even know. I don't know. I don't know.
Wendy (23:16.113)
you not know who Steve Gutenberg is?
Kelli (23:16.525)
my god, police academy, three men and a baby. Steve Gutenberg? yeah. No. Three men and a baby. Police Academy. He was definitely in something else. He's an actor. Was he in Ghostbusters? No, no, no. I'm thinking of somebody else. He was a big actor in the eighties.
Lori (23:22.123)
No. No, not it can not.
Wendy (23:28.003)
Yes. Yeah. Yes, yes, yeah. N no.
Lori (23:28.329)
No. so he's an actor. Okay. I didn't know I didn't know the subs name. I didn't know the who the hell it was.
Wendy (23:39.301)
Yeah.
Lori (23:39.604)
Okay. Yeah. So they're teasing Shannon about I guess he liked one of her reels and then she went to dinner with Jeff Lewis and then Jeff Lewis was talking about on his podcast. And so they wanted to try and send a picture of Shannon in her outfit. And see that scene right there where she was like, No, no, no, no. I felt like that was real. Like I felt like that was not like a rehearsed thing. So that would I thought that was cute.
Kelli (24:03.953)
Yes.
Wendy (24:05.489)
That was real. That was real.
Kelli (24:07.463)
Yeah. Yeah. And please don't send a picture of her in that outfit to anybody. She looked adorable, but that's a like a Yeah.
Lori (24:11.559)
No, but I thought she looked cute. I thought she looked good in that. She looked good in that blue wig. She looked cute. And then Gina says, you know, she enjoyed her shopping day until she learned that Heather had been questioning her purchases and spending habits. And now, now all of a sudden, Tamara says, it was a collective conversation. It's like, girl,
Wendy (24:13.317)
She did look cute.
Right.
Kelli (24:34.973)
Yep. Yep.
That way she could be like, my hands are clean. I said it. I said we were all saying it, but you didn't initially say you were all saying it.
Lori (24:41.458)
Mm-hmm.
Wendy (24:46.02)
Right.
Lori (24:46.533)
No. And Heather feels that Gina is singling her out and wants to have a problem with her. I kind of agree.
Kelli (24:53.019)
I kind of agree. And I don't know if it's Emily or Gina. I feel like it's more Emily.
Wendy (25:00.257)
is singling out Heather? No, because it that's what it is. That's what Tammer's making the this a problem. Like Tamar's the one who's stirring this pot. And honestly, if it's when it's not Tamar doing it, it's Emily. Emily and Tamar are the one trying to to cause a divide between Gina and Heather. Because Gina and Heather have always been good. And then Emily got jealous for a bit, but and then she was okay with it.
Kelli (25:02.151)
Yeah. For that conversation.
Lori (25:03.117)
I feel like Tamra's singling out Heather.
Lori (25:11.565)
Mm-hmm.
Kelli (25:11.739)
Yes.
Kelli (25:15.261)
Right.
Lori (25:15.873)
Right. Are the worst
Kelli (25:19.335)
Yep. Yeah.
Lori (25:26.989)
Mm-hmm.
Wendy (25:29.859)
And now, you know, Tamara's trying to stick it to Heather. I it's with Jen, like bringing Jen into the mix. Like I'm telling you, it's Tamara and Emily. Yeah, but I'm saying I know yeah, again, the Tamara and Emily are the ones that are mixing this up and and putting it towards Heather because I I don't see it that way. I really don't.
Kelli (25:40.647)
That's a whole other thing, the gen camera thing.
Lori (25:42.131)
Exactly. Exactly.
Lori (25:56.536)
So let's see.
Lori (26:03.021)
Jen says that Yeah. Jen says that she admires how Gina has grown from the woman associated with the casita into the successful person she is today. And Gina immediately Girl, you did live in a casita. It doesn't matter like but it wasn't like that was the only home that you were staying in. Yes, you had the two houses, but don't act like you you didn't live there because you did. But
Kelli (26:03.539)
Well, that was basically the end of the dinner, right? no, no, no. Right, right, right, right. No, you're right.
Wendy (26:08.345)
Wendy (26:28.655)
Yeah, but
Kelli (26:29.999)
I had to look up what a casita was. So it is a it is a little house, but it is also either detached or attached to a bigger house. So it's like a guest house. Okay. So sh but she didn't really live in a casita. She lived in a in the marital home, right? But then when he would come stay with the kids, she would go stay, right, it was nesting.
Wendy (26:32.431)
Listen.
Lori (26:34.731)
Yeah, like a little backhouse.
Lori (26:40.695)
Guest house.
Wendy (26:50.137)
Yes. She did the nesting. She would go stay at a casito as a as opposed to staying at a hotel. And I absolutely
Lori (26:54.519)
Right.
Kelli (26:58.823)
Which is exactly what Jen did, but she would go stay at Ryan's house. At least Gina got herself a place. She didn't go from her parents' house to her husband's house to her boyfriend's house, Jen, which is what you did.
Lori (27:09.515)
Right. Right.
Wendy (27:10.961)
I can totally understand why that is a trigger for Gina, because that is what people say. She lived in a casita, she lived in a casita. And they were not looking at the big picture. Yes, she's temporarily stayed in a casita when she was separated and her children were living in the marital house and she was nesting. It's not the same thing. It is not the same thing. And I would be insulted by it too, because that has kind of become her brand. And I wouldn't want that to be my brand if I was her.
Kelli (27:34.675)
Yes.
Wendy (27:39.834)
I wouldn't want to be the girl that came from the casita. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Right. Right. But she didn't. Right. Right. Right. I don't blame her. I do not blame her. And I was glad that she explained it and said it straight. And I think that Jen, when she heard her explanation, she was like, you know what? I I totally get it. I'm sorry. Like she said. She didn't mean it that way.
Lori (27:40.278)
Right.
Right.
Kelli (27:43.613)
Right, because she didn't. She right. No, but she had a house in Koto de Casa. Like that's big. That's big.
Lori (28:04.641)
Right, because I don't think she I don't think I don't feel like Jenna's malicious as a person at all. Right. Yeah. So then let's see.
Wendy (28:09.047)
No, not at all. No, sh sh she did not mean it that way. She did not mean it that way.
Kelli (28:09.231)
Mm mm. No, not at all. Not at all. Right.
Kelli (28:18.599)
Then they start talking to Jen about how she should be fostering her you know, athletic, you know, workout career. And really that is where she should be focusing her attention.
Wendy (28:27.985)
Career wise.
Lori (28:28.171)
Right, they right, right.
Absolutely.
Wendy (28:33.265)
Yeah, but then again, Tamar has to jump in. Well, I had a gym and we didn't make money. Okay.
Lori (28:39.083)
Right, okay. But what I didn't what I didn't like is, you know, they brought up the whole the whole venture with Carmella. And then I didn't like that Jen was like, well, you know, I felt that was more of like an assistant role. Well it was nice that she offered you anything at all and what kind of role do you think you should have with no experience? Should you should you be the boss? Should you be like the underboss? Like
Kelli (28:39.569)
Right. Okay. Well that was you.
Kelli (29:06.173)
Right. Right. And and even if it were an assistant role, like I think that Carmella was just being nice enough to be like, this is listen, I didn't know how to do this either. But if you work with me, you can learn how to do it too. Like like the opposite of a gatekeeper. Like I'm gonna share my knowledge with you so you can do something with it. Like, you know, if it's not your gig, it's not your gig. But it's still nice of her.
Wendy (29:08.207)
Ha ha ha
Lori (29:08.949)
What else would you be beside the assist? Like
Lori (29:23.735)
Absolutely, yeah.
Lori (29:29.493)
Yeah. And I didn't like Right. But you don't know until you try. Right. And I didn't like how Vicky says, you know, you're out of your lane then. Well w so if you wanna Right, if you wanna do something else, Vicky's th is it okay if somebody says that to you? I don't think you'd be all right with it.
Kelli (29:39.176)
Yes.
Wendy (29:42.011)
Well I think that's
Kelli (29:42.397)
She said that in the past.
Kelli (29:48.913)
Right. Right.
Wendy (29:50.642)
Well, I think that that's part of the problem with Jen, why she was kind of diminishing the whole Carmella thing. I think it's because the ladies were jumping on one Carmella for even giving her the opportunity, and two for because it's nothing that she's ever done before. Well, that's that's why she was gonna be an assistant. And I think that got Jen questioning it too. If if they weren't in her ear chirping about it and they people absolutely.
Lori (30:00.449)
Mm-hmm.
Lori (30:10.773)
Yes.
I think she would have been so excited about it. I think she would have went like full force on it. And I think that actually, for some reason, I just feel like she probably would have been really good at it. I don't know why. But I feel like I feel like she would have been good at it. And and I think that's a shame. Yeah, so they su Me too, I like her a lot.
Wendy (30:19.163)
Yeah.
Kelli (30:23.879)
Mm-hmm. Right.
Wendy (30:24.729)
Yeah. No, I I don't disagree with you.
Wendy (30:34.853)
I like Carmella. I hope she comes back.
Kelli (30:36.697)
I do too. I do too.
Lori (30:40.545)
So Jen said she's been thinking along the same lines and she hopes she can monetize on her passion. Tamra asks what everybody's highlight of the trip was and I think Gina said shopping today, but I couldn't tell who said it, but I think so.
Kelli (30:55.165)
Well, she said it was shopping until she heard what Heather had said about her. And that's how that conversation started.
Lori (30:57.917)
Right. Right. And then Heather Heather says she liked the temple. Emily says at the tea she realized how much they really care for each other. Yeah.
Kelli (31:07.665)
my God. I was like, Okay. Exactly.
Wendy (31:08.461)
I thought that was the biggest bunch of BS ever. that's when they had the biggest fight. I said the word.
Lori (31:11.137)
Jedi. Wendy Wendy you said the S word said the word Yeah, I know. That's so funny.
Kelli (31:17.619)
Of all of us to do it. I I felt I thought the same way though. I'm like, you all have spent the entire episode talking about each other behind each other's backs, but you really care about each other, right?
Wendy (31:21.393)
I know, I know. Damn.
Lori (31:30.667)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
Wendy (31:30.736)
Yeah.
Lori (31:34.657)
Yeah. Okay.
Wendy (31:37.189)
The tea was the worst of all of them though. That was like where they really got into it. I'm like, this is ridiculous. Yes. Yeah.
Kelli (31:37.459)
Mm-hmm.
Lori (31:43.649)
Right. So Tamra. Fake hyperventilated, the whole thing.
Kelli (31:44.487)
Tamra Fay cried, of course.
Right, hyperventilated. Let's not forget.
Wendy (31:51.807)
Hmm.
Lori (31:52.046)
Exactly. Let's not forget. Yeah. And so now we're back in O. C. and Jen introduces Sexy Fit, a fitness venture designed around helping women women feel fit, confident, and sexy. Yeah.
Kelli (32:07.325)
I like it. I like the name. I like how she spelled it. Yeah.
Wendy (32:08.441)
I do too. I do too. I don't like that Gretchen was there, but that's okay. And Slade.
Lori (32:10.913)
Yeah. So sh no and yeah, and slayed.
Kelli (32:14.269)
That was interesting. I was like, who let Gretchen in?
Lori (32:21.067)
Mm-hmm.
Wendy (32:22.671)
Well, Jen was friends with her. She was friends with her that season.
Kelli (32:23.047)
That was interesting.
Lori (32:24.737)
Yeah. So I guess the deal is she's gonna film her classes that she's teaching and post them. That's the deal. That's the deal?
Kelli (32:26.726)
Yeah.
Kelli (32:34.077)
Yeah. And listen, from there she could probably start like a membership, like you know, a subscription. Mm-hmm.
Lori (32:38.773)
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Or coaching or whatever. Yeah, yeah.
Wendy (32:39.311)
A subscription, yeah. Yeah.
Lori (32:44.703)
And then Gretchen asks about the wedding and then Jen says they're gonna pick a date and maybe have one or two kids. I I don't they can't have all their kids there? I don't understand.
Wendy (32:56.343)
No, they can't because I guess their kids' schedules and you know, the one is like someplace yeah, the one's in the military, the other one's out of state working, like her kids are all over the place. So it just you know, it just wouldn't be easy to get them all together.
Kelli (33:02.582)
he's in the military.
Lori (33:04.36)
yeah.
Lori (33:08.949)
Mm-hmm.
Lori (33:15.797)
I don't know. You y you say I have a wedding, my mother's getting married and you go. Like I don't know. That doesn't sound too crazy.
Kelli (33:15.953)
Now, did you understand what Gretchen said? Yeah, exactly. What was Gretchen saying? Like, so she and Slate, I almost called him Shane. Slade had a private ceremony. So but I guess they're not like legally married, like they just had like a spiritual, religious ceremony.
Lori (33:34.049)
Yeah, I couldn't understand that either.
Wendy (33:36.069)
She had she had said that when she was on, that they were like married in like the eyes of God. Like I don't know that it was illegal. She had said that way back when. Yeah.
Kelli (33:44.281)
Okay. But not like
Lori (33:47.469)
Mm.
Kelli (33:48.446)
Well, listen, girl, keep it that way. Cause then as far as taxes and anything financial, you're a single mom, so go ahead with it. Keep it that way, because enough people are out there doing it.
Wendy (33:57.809)
Mm.
Lori (33:58.998)
Right, right.
Lori (34:02.835)
Yeah they are
Wendy (34:03.045)
Yeah. Yeah, and why is it anyone's business? Like why do they get so involved in that, right?
Kelli (34:05.137)
Mm-hmm. It's nobody's business. Yep, it's nobody's business. Who cares?
Lori (34:12.781)
So then Shannon and Jen visit Carmella and Shannon lets the girls know that she took Archie, her dog, to the oncologist and they told her that if she doesn't give him radiation treatments he has four to six months to live. So said. And Carmella expresses reg Yeah. I don't know. Yeah.
Wendy (34:17.435)
Mm-hmm.
Kelli (34:30.387)
I don't even think he lasted that long, so I'm wondering what she decided to do, right?
Wendy (34:34.755)
I don't know. I'm sure she gave him radiation. knowing her.
Lori (34:40.471)
I think so, yeah. So Carmela expresses reg regret about not joining the group in Japan and she feels like she w let the women down. and Jen says she talks to Carmella more than anyone and she feels that Carmela could have told her sooner that she wasn't going.
Wendy (34:59.705)
I do think that sh her and Carmella were very close, which is why Carmella gave her that opportunity. And she was hurt. I think she felt blind like blindsided. Like I here that I'm expecting you to show up in the day of, you know, you call and s when you call everyone else. Like I I don't blame her.
Lori (35:06.058)
Right.
Lori (35:13.323)
Right, you you can't, you you know. Right.
Kelli (35:16.455)
Right. How about when Heather said that she thought Jen might be her buddy in the group and then she thought Carmela might be the bud her buddy in the group and she just wanted a buddy in the group but she's okay by herself.
Lori (35:31.073)
kind of felt bad for her.
Kelli (35:32.453)
I felt bad for her too, I'll be honest with you. Because I think that they do and I give Heather a hard time, but I think they do give Heather a hard time and I think that Tamara's always at the head of it and Emily falls in right in line. You know, I kind of felt bad for her.
Lori (35:47.253)
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Yeah, I did too.
Kelli (35:52.669)
But good but listen, if anybody can stand on their own in this group, it is her.
Lori (35:57.14)
It it certainly is, sir. Yeah.
Wendy (35:59.698)
But I would like for her to g to get a buddy, to be honest with you. I would like to see her with a buddy. I would.
Lori (36:02.561)
Yeah, would that be nice?
Kelli (36:03.173)
Yeah.
Lori (36:06.455)
Somebody on her side for once.
Wendy (36:08.218)
Yeah.
Kelli (36:08.659)
Mm-hmm. I do too. I really do. Mm-hmm.
Lori (36:12.567)
Right? Horrible. So then Carmella says, you know, she feels overwhelmed and she's behind at work and then her daughter's leaving and her uncertainty surrounding Danny and her, you know, unclear about her next steps. And, you know, she feels as though she's still married and doesn't know what to do. And then s I think she she just doesn't trust
Wendy (36:13.328)
Yeah.
Lori (36:41.559)
That guy, Danny, at all. And I'm wondering if that had anything to do with her anxiety of leaving California, right? Yeah. I think it added definitely added to it.
Wendy (36:48.219)
Definitely. Definitely. Definitely. Definitely. Definitely.
Kelli (36:50.737)
Yeah, yes. for sure. For sure.
Wendy (36:54.819)
Yes, because he's staying at the ha he's staying at the house. For whatever reason, and this guy Danny, from the the second I met him on this show, he just gives me Jared vibes. I don't know what it is. He gives me Jared vibes. He's just this I don't know. I don't not a good guy. Yes, yes, yes. He gives me Jared vibes.
Kelli (37:06.183)
Yes, yes.
Lori (37:09.506)
Yeah.
Lori (37:13.473)
Jared from Salt Lake City, right? Jared Osman. Yeah. Yeah. I I'm with you on that one. And then Jen and Shannon give her I thought good advice, you know, like tackle one thing at a time. And then Jen said maybe sometimes you take a breather and just sit with the fact that you don't know what to do. And that's okay. That's okay. So, I don't know.
Kelli (37:13.735)
Yes. Yes.
Wendy (37:35.663)
Yep, it is okay.
Lori (37:41.181)
I think it's gl it's good that she got rid of that guy, Danny.
Kelli (37:44.711)
Yes, yes, yes.
Wendy (37:45.221)
I do too. I do too.
Lori (37:47.436)
And then Jen and Ryan meet up at the pier and discuss their upcoming trips. What is this? Sh three trips to Cabo and then the Bahamas like go look at Juto.
Kelli (37:59.41)
I wanna know what Ryan does for a living. Have we ever learned what Ryan does for a living?
Lori (38:05.709)
Mm-hmm.
Wendy (38:06.01)
We don't we don't really know. We don't.
Lori (38:10.337)
And then they have some discussion about her fear based mentality towards marriage. And then we see Gina and Travis at the lawyer's office discussing a prenup. Gina says she's extra cross cautious about her finances after her divorce and feels that a prenup will help her address all the doomsday scenarios.
Wendy (38:32.303)
What are your thoughts on a prenup? like what advice would you give to your daughters? Would you or your son?
Kelli (38:41.991)
I mean if they had something you know, if they had like I think Gina has a lot to protect. I think our kids at the ages they are, they're not really going into a marriage y you know.
Wendy (38:47.321)
No, I just mean I just
Lori (38:53.953)
With large assets.
Kelli (38:55.653)
Right. But for Gina, I think ab for any housewife, for any woman on any of these shows, Jen should get a prenup. Like I I just feel like 'cause I would be so skeptical as to whether or not these people are with me because I'm on this show. So I would absolutely get a prenup. But our kids at their ages, like Lori said, they don't really have a big asset to protect. They don't have
Lori (39:06.826)
Absolutely.
Lori (39:15.437)
Mm-hmm.
Kelli (39:24.709)
Anything to protect. If they did, then of course I would
Lori (39:26.413)
But if but if they did then I would have no problem saying, Look, part yes, your marriage is first and foremost for me, for our family, is a religious agreement between you, the person you're marrying, and God, but it also is a financial agreement. There's it's in a financial arrangement, so you I would have no problem having my daughter get
Kelli (39:30.332)
Yes.
Lori (39:55.021)
cleanup if she had something to protect.
Wendy (39:57.83)
Well, it's interesting because I actually I I've told all my children that I think that they should get a prenup and not that they have anything, but I think it's a good conversation to have. I think it's a good conversation for them to have with their future spouse, whoever that may be, and see exactly what it is you're coming into the marriage with. Because th you know, although they are young, there could be th situations that you don't even know about. And when you
Lori (40:14.359)
Mm-hmm.
Wendy (40:26.553)
you do go into the process of getting a prenup, you find out that maybe somebody actually filed bankruptcy or has really bad credit and again, that you didn't know about because you never had that conversation. And I personally think today, and and I absolutely believe in, you know, spiritual and religious
Lori (40:35.901)
That you didn't know about, right, because you never had that conversation.
Wendy (40:49.603)
marriage and wedding. But I think that financial is is a big part of it too, because finances affect us in so many different ways. And I think I think like in schools today we don't teach this to kids. We don't teach them to be financially smart and to, you know, open up, you know, four one Ks or to plan for we don't teach kids this and this is what they need to know. So
Lori (40:54.246)
yeah.
Kelli (40:57.35)
Absolutely.
Lori (41:02.141)
No, they don't.
Wendy (41:13.985)
I've always said to mine and my children are young just like yours that I think that they should consider a prenup and for those reasons. And I d I I think that they should have a partner that's okay to talk about those things because they're things that need to they're important, they need to be spoken about.
Kelli (41:29.095)
Right. Right.
Lori (41:29.739)
Yes. True, true, true. So then we see Emily with Sean and Emily asks Sean if he's glad that she's home from Tokyo and doesn't he doesn't Shane, Shane, Shane. Yeah, yeah, I know, I do.
Kelli (41:41.797)
Shane.
Wendy (41:43.545)
Shane. It's so funny you keep changing his name. Shane.
Kelli (41:47.133)
Well, I just I d all of a sudden I pictured Angie Kay and I was like, Wait.
Lori (41:51.17)
No no no. Shame. He doesn't even answer her. Did you notice that?
Kelli (41:59.166)
Well, listen, I think that again these scenes are recorded and then redone and I think that Shane has a very hard time playing the game of pretending that this is a new conversation when it's not.
Lori (42:15.118)
Right, right. I think you're right on that one. That that makes a lot of sense to me now that I think about it.
Kelli (42:19.091)
Where he's laughing 'cause he's like, You just fucking sorry. You just asked me that six times and I've I've answered you six times to this question, you know?
Lori (42:25.919)
Times already. Right. Yes. Cause I was wondering like why is he laughing? And then why is she not getting mad that he's laughing? But that makes to that makes total sense now that you say it like that.
Kelli (42:33.969)
Right. That's what I think would change.
Wendy (42:35.851)
Yeah, and yeah, and I don't even remember the exactly what she said, but she said something and he's like, go so I guess you were speaking bad about me. So like I mean he's gonna find out. And he didn't at that point, I'm sure, but like this is what he's used to. He knows who she is.
Lori (42:44.843)
Yes.
Kelli (42:44.877)
Yeah. Well, does he know what she told what she told the world he was looking at on his YouTube?
Lori (42:50.913)
Yeah, mm-hmm.
Kelli (42:52.424)
Ha ha ha!
Lori (42:57.899)
Right. And she did try and cover her ass a little bit 'cause she said that while she was away she did discuss with the girls that the two of them were not in a good space. And then in her confessional she says that she's made a commitment that no matter how tired she is, that she spends time alone with him and that it's made a huge difference in their relationship.
Kelli (43:20.093)
Now, how about when he said he was taking her out to dinner and he was like, So get a babysitter? And she was like, I'm not getting a baby. You were just a play in Tokyo. He wants to take you out to dinner. All he's asking you to do is secure a babysitter. I'm sure it's a matter of calling your mother-in-law and being like, Listen, can the kids come over? And somebody commented, I don't know if it's true or not, but someone commented on one of our posts that the mother-in-law lives like down the street or on the same street.
Lori (43:26.637)
I know, right?
Get a babysitter.
Let's make a phone call.
Lori (43:46.977)
Down the street, right, very close to them. Yeah, I I saw that too.
Wendy (43:48.577)
I didn't know that.
Kelli (43:49.809)
So it doesn't sound like it's a big feat for you to secure someone to watch your kids tonight.
Lori (43:53.493)
Right.
Yeah, I thought that was kind of fresh. I was like, Girl, stop it. Just make a phone call.
Kelli (43:58.727)
Yes.
Kelli (44:02.545)
Yeah. She's really feeling herself, Emily, in this marriage.
Lori (44:05.014)
Mm-hmm
So Vicky, Tamara and Heather meet up for dinner back in Orange County and Tamra says that she would like to see more drunk pants than fancy pants. Talking about Heather, 'cause Heather was day drinking. Yeah. Yeah.
Wendy (44:20.241)
Listen, I love a day drinking. I love a day drinker, but the only reason Tamra wants to see that is because she's hoping that Heather will be messy and sloppy like she is. But guess what? She will not be. She will not be. She won't.
Kelli (44:20.317)
We'd like to see less drunk pants but you, Tamra.
Lori (44:30.027)
Right. She will not be, yeah. Yeah. So then Vicki says her and Mike, as soon as she got back, we're having discussions about their life plan. And then Tamara brings up the ring again. And then in confessional, Vicky said she's not worried about jewelry and that she still has a ring that she purchased for herself when she was with that guy, Steve.
Kelli (44:30.851)
Absolutely. Never gonna happen. Right.
Lori (44:57.133)
And she paid a hundred and ten thousand dollars for it for her own ring. It's in her safe.
Wendy (45:01.787)
And send her safe.
Kelli (45:03.547)
And when they asked her, she's like, he didn't have that kind of money. I listen, I know Vicky can say some whack things. I'm so glad she said that about that guy. Cause he was such an opportunist. He used her so bad. So I'm so glad she said that about him.
Lori (45:18.593)
that's horrible.
Wendy (45:23.299)
Yeah.
Lori (45:23.521)
That's horrible. And then we go to a beach cleanup where we have Jen, Gina, Emily, and Gina's daughter, Sienna.
Is Emily like ten? What is that outfit? What is that outfit? Girl, you're going to a beach cleanup. You're not gonna play tennis.
Kelli (45:35.815)
I know with that outfit.
Wendy (45:41.371)
I didn't I was wondering what that was too. Yeah, it was o
Kelli (45:45.031)
And she looked like she was going to play tennis.
Lori (45:47.051)
Like you're ten. I'm like, what is going on? You look good, but come on.
Wendy (45:48.153)
I know. I know. I was wondering what was g
Kelli (45:49.405)
Yeah.
I like the colour, but it was a little too much.
Lori (45:57.938)
Y you're bending over picking s what are you doing? Ugh. So the conversation to turns to Jen's increasingly close friendship with Tamra and Gina and Emily are teasing her about the number of photos and public displays of friendship between them. And then mm hmm.
Kelli (46:01.0)
Yep. Yeah.
Kelli (46:18.653)
So this is when it hit me what I said about Tamara, because of what Emily said, what Emily and Gina were saying is so spot on. Tamra's gonna use you until she doesn't need you anymore. And then when you least expect it, she's gonna blast you about something way at just like what listen, I know Vicky has not been a fan favorite this season. I know Vicky has acted and behaved very poorly.
But Tamra bringing up the Sydney thing that Vicky said years ago, there's no way Vicki could ever have prepared herself for that. And it has now turned into this big thing that Vicky now has to defend herself over. This is why Tamra's dangerous. Because it doesn't matter what Vicky said about Sydney. What Vicky said about Sydney has nothing to do with the fact that Sydney wants nothing to do with Tamra. But Tamra can't ever.
Lori (47:05.079)
'Cause she does stuff like that.
Lori (47:14.294)
Right.
Kelli (47:16.217)
admit she's done something wrong because she's a narcissist. So now she's putting it on Vicky.
Lori (47:22.613)
Mm-hmm. Yep.
Wendy (47:25.371)
Yeah.
Lori (47:27.979)
Yeah, so Gina suggests that Tamara might be using the friendship to irritate Heather. And Emily agrees that this possibility has crossed her mind. Jen seems uncertain. Mm-hmm.
Wendy (47:38.737)
I think I think they're right. And I'm glad they put that I'm I'm glad they put that seed in Jen's ear so she can be on the lookout because I do think that I think Jen is a little naive, you know?
Kelli (47:40.583)
I think they're right too.
Lori (47:49.771)
Yeah. Yeah. Jen says she wonders if she's just a pawn.
Wendy (47:54.736)
She is. And in Tamara's game, in Tamra's game she certainly is. Because you know how close you were to her until you came on the show and then she turned into your like big you know, enemy number one. Yeah. Out of nowhere.
Kelli (47:55.336)
Yes.
Lori (47:55.8)
She is. I think so too. In Tamar's game. Absolutely.
Kelli (47:58.408)
Yeah. Yeah.
Kelli (48:05.937)
Arch nemesis. Yep.
Lori (48:05.953)
Worst enemy. Right. Yeah.
Kelli (48:09.659)
Out of nowhere. That's what I mean. You don't see it coming with Tamara because she's dangerous. She's dangerous. She's a dangerous person.
Wendy (48:11.781)
Right.
Lori (48:16.429)
Mm.
And s for some reason I just keep thinking of that scene with her granddaughter. I thought that was so bizarre. It was bizarre. It was like the kid had never been there before. And then the thing with Sydney's picture, like, why wouldn't you say that's your aunt? Like it's just it was just weird, weird, weird.
Wendy (48:40.325)
The kid probably had never been there before. That's why it seemed that way. That granddaughter had never been there.
Kelli (48:44.785)
And you know, I I had I had said like why was the mother there? That mother, that gir little girl's mother is probably like, You're not going anywhere near Tamara without me because I
Lori (48:44.917)
It was just weird.
Lori (48:57.813)
absolutely. She's whacked. She's whacked.
Kelli (49:02.151)
have experience with something like this and did not want my children anywhere near a certain person without me being there. So now thinking about it, I yeah, I I stand corrected with why that woman was there, why her granddaughter's mother was there. I think that's why. She probably doesn't want her anywhere near Tamara without her being there.
Wendy (49:08.219)
Yeah. Yeah.
Lori (49:08.577)
Right. But I think there's definitely a s there's a screw loose there.
Lori (49:24.909)
Absolutely not. No.
Wendy (49:25.125)
I don't blame her. I don't blame her.
Kelli (49:26.449)
I don't blame her either. Not a not even a little bit.
Lori (49:30.519)
But it's like Tamara's whole being is just figuring out ways to be conniving. It's horrible. Right, it's horrible. Like there's nothing else in your life that you enjoy or that you it's just that's the sole focus.
Kelli (49:40.391)
Right. For the show. For the show.
Kelli (49:52.177)
Certainly not her relationship with her kids 'cause she's putting the show before that as well.
Lori (49:57.357)
Her her sole focus is just to figure out
Ha ways to be conniving. I believe so.
Kelli (50:02.865)
She sold her soul to the devil a long time ago.
Wendy (50:08.571)
Yeah, I do too.
Lori (50:08.651)
And now I read in a a social media post too, like when she was saying you know, when she was trying to say, you know, well I went off the show for two years to work on my didn't she get fired? It's like girl, why are you trying to act like you went off the show for two years to work on your relationship with your kid?
Wendy (50:20.655)
Yes. Yes, she got fired.
Kelli (50:20.743)
Yes, you one hundred percent got fired. Yes.
Kelli (50:28.295)
She hasn't been here for nineteen years. She hasn't been here for twenty years. At best, she would have been here for seventeen years because she came on in season three. But she got fired for two of them. So that's fifteen years, Tamara. I'm sorry you can't do math. And it's very simple math.
Lori (50:44.235)
Right. But just the fact that she was trying to make it sound like she left the show in order to work on that relationship, but and it didn't work, you know. So I just went back because, you know, that really did nothing. Like so that really wasn't the problem kind of a thing. I was just like Stop it. So we'll see next time. But if everyone could please head over to our YouTube, subscribe.
Kelli (50:51.91)
