We Wine Whenever (00:00.94)
Hi, welcome to We Wine Whenever, I'm Wendy.
Kelli (00:03.848)
I'm Kelly.
We Wine Whenever (00:04.601)
And I'm Lori.
We Wine Whenever (00:06.382)
We're talking about Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, season five, episode number eight. But before we talk about that, I want to mention a little bit about the Women's Expo. I went to a Women's Expo yesterday at the Raritan Center in New Jersey. There was a couple guest speakers there. There was J Woww from the Jersey Shore. And J Woww was talking about the night before she was in New York City for a premiere.
of a movie that she wrote, directed, I think produced as well. And it's called, it's called Devon, D-E-V-O-N, and it's a psychological thriller. And she was telling us the story of like how it all came about. So in 2020, she had this idea to do this, this thriller. Back when she was doing the Snooki and J-Woww little
Kelli (00:43.206)
Wow.
We Wine Whenever (01:04.652)
series that they did for a short amount of time. and Snooki went to the Penitentiary, the one in Pennsylvania, I forget what it's called. Yes, they went there. And this is where actually it was set. This is where her movie was set. When she was there with Snooki at the time, she loves scary movies, JWoww does. So when she was there at the time, she's like, this would be like a good idea of a good place to do this.
Kelli (01:12.112)
Eastern State.
We Wine Whenever (01:30.455)
So back in 2020, she had this idea and she just started like writing it and she had no idea how to, you know, she'd never done this before. She had no idea how to do it. And then all of a sudden the pandemic happened. And, you know, then she kind of like finalized things and then she's like, well, what are we going to do? Like they, like she got everything in place, but then the pandemic happened. So she continued to do it. And long story short, she did it. And
Kelli (01:43.784)
Hmm.
We Wine Whenever (01:58.557)
She's proud of herself and I don't blame her because that is a huge accomplishment.
Kelli (02:03.154)
to write it alone.
We Wine Whenever (02:04.747)
to write it alone and to direct it. mean, it's awesome. That's awesome. So it's going, yeah, it's gonna be out on, it's gonna be streaming. I think she said it's gonna be on Apple TV and Amazon. I'm not 100 % sure exactly where it's gonna be, but it's coming out November 12th, so we can watch it. I'm gonna watch it, even though I don't like psychological thrillers.
Kelli (02:11.09)
Yeah.
We Wine Whenever (02:11.873)
Good for her.
Kelli (02:28.146)
Awesome.
it's a scary movie.
We Wine Whenever (02:33.45)
I'm still gonna watch it. I'm gonna watch it. Because, yeah. But she was also talking about like high school and how it was hard for her growing up in high school. And you know, there was an interviewer there asking her some questions and I was there with Matt and his friend from school, who both seniors in high school. And one of the things she was saying is in high school, like, you know, she was, you know, she was a dork. She didn't have any friends. She didn't go to the prom. You know, the kids kind of made fun of her.
We Wine Whenever (02:33.744)
Yeah, I know.
Kelli (02:36.04)
I'll give it a go. I'll give it a go.
We Wine Whenever (03:02.827)
you know, she was like a tomboy because, you know, she was raised by her father. Her mother wasn't around. And, you know, she just wanted people to know that you can do whatever you want to do. And, you know, it's okay to be the weird kid. And the people from high school, she said, because the interviewer asked her if she runs into them. She's like, no, I'm not even in the same state. And, you know, they peaked in high school. She said in her yearbook, this one girl,
Kelli (03:26.248)
That's right.
We Wine Whenever (03:30.392)
She's like, no one even signed my yearbook. And this one girl gave me this pity sign. She signed my yearbook and she wrote something like, you better save this autograph because I'm going to be famous one day. She's like, I think about it all the time. She's like, look who's up here now. Yeah. I thought that was great. I thought that was great. Yeah. So, you know, it was good to see her. She was inspirational. And then Dolores Catania came out and she was talking about, were
Kelli (03:43.922)
That's amazing.
We Wine Whenever (03:44.964)
That's great. I love it.
We Wine Whenever (03:59.154)
asking her questions about like the Real Housewives and she was saying, you know, they don't know what's going on. They don't know when they're going to start filming again. They don't know anything. She was also talking about they asked her like how she was able to forgive Frank, her ex-husband and move forward with him after everything that he had done. And she said, listen, you know, I live my life that it doesn't hurt him if I hold anger and hate in my heart. Like it's just, it's bad for me.
So you just gotta move forward. And that's what she does with her life. She just keeps moving forward. She spends her time trying to do philanthropic work and her charity raising money for. She does a women's charity. She does the one for Maimonides, breast cancer one. And she lives a great life. her mom had a lot of children and her mom never went anywhere and never did anything. And once Dolores started making money,
Kelli (04:29.755)
true.
We Wine Whenever (04:59.529)
you know, she wanted to take her mom places and her mom didn't want to do anything. She's like, everything I need is right here. Everything I need is right here. She really is. And she also went on to tell us, which we didn't know this, is that, you know, we did know her mom was sick recently. Her mom had surgery, open heart surgery. Cause the question came up about like when there's conflicts and like, how do you handle it?
Kelli (05:09.096)
Her mom's a sweet lady.
We Wine Whenever (05:26.077)
And she said that her and her brothers and sisters weren't allowed to fight when they were younger because her mother wouldn't allow it. Like, so she was always very close with her brothers and sisters. But when her mom was sick, there was a little bit of tension and there was a little bit of animosity that one sibling was doing more than the other sibling for the parent. And, you know, Dolores was working at the time and I guess she was doing the best that she could do. you know, at one point she offered to just, you know, all
Kelli (05:44.594)
Hmm.
We Wine Whenever (05:53.151)
will pay to have a nurse move in to help and they didn't like that answer and there was tension. So she's like, even my family, where you think that there's not gonna be, she goes, it happens, it does happen. And you just have to push through it. Which again, I thought was a great message. And then the next person, I didn't realize how close her and Caroline were. She talked about the casting, how they went to the hair salon and that's how they were cast there.
Kelli (06:05.66)
Yeah.
Kelli (06:12.146)
Yeah.
We Wine Whenever (06:23.229)
and that her and Carolyn are very good friends. They've been very good friends for a very long time.
Kelli (06:28.082)
Well, remember when Caroline was doing the 101.5 radio show Dolores was on the episode.
We Wine Whenever (06:32.97)
Yeah, yeah. So then Caroline came out and she was talking about her cookbook. You know, I should have, I was gonna call you, but honestly, I was too tired at that point. I could have gotten you her cookbook signed, because they had her cookbook there. They were selling it and you know, she was signing them. Yeah. I wasn't gonna buy cookbook, because we all know I don't cook. I was like, what am I gonna do with a cookbook?
Kelli (06:51.016)
She would have signed it.
I know, it's okay. You know what, I actually am going to order her, geez, I am going, just whacked myself in the face with the microphone. I am gonna order her cookbook, so, but thank you. Because I would much rather read her.
We Wine Whenever (07:08.394)
Okay.
We Wine Whenever (07:12.68)
Yeah, so she was talking about some of the recipes in there. She's got a crock pot recipe for oatmeal and she talks about how that came about, about how there's always so many people at her house and then all the things that she uses the oatmeal for if it's leftover and the things that she's, know, she was one of I think 10 or 11 kids. So when she got married to Alfred, it was just the two of them. She had to like pare down her recipe. She didn't know how to cook for two people. She's like, if you know,
We Wine Whenever (07:12.752)
Well, there you go.
Kelli (07:30.13)
Yeah.
Kelli (07:41.123)
That's funny.
We Wine Whenever (07:42.632)
I'm used to cooking for the masses. Like if you said I had to cook for everyone in this room, I'd be like, okay, let's get it done. But like to cook for a few people, she just doesn't know how to do that.
Kelli (07:50.448)
And she's the oldest, right, of all of the siblings? Okay.
We Wine Whenever (07:53.436)
She did not say that. She did not say, she may be. And the way the cookbook came about is she really just made it for her sons. And that also came about during the pandemic. She's like always taken pictures of her food. So she started writing down these recipes like for her son, but she liked most Italian moms and grandmas and cooks, they don't measure anything. So.
it was very hard for her to come up with measurements. So when she decided to do the book, they had to hire this person who would watch her, put it together and have to come up with what the measurements were for the recipe. And the first book that she made for her kids, like their friends were like, my God, can your mom make, will buy it. Can your mom make me one? Can your mom make me one? So that's why she decided to do it, which I thought was, you know, it was a good story.
Kelli (08:42.994)
That's nice.
We Wine Whenever (08:45.352)
I met a lot of interesting people, a lot of women-owned businesses. I met the president of Creamrich Winery and I asked him if we could come out there and do a wine sampling and a wine tasting. And I talked to him about sponsorship for the podcast and he said, absolutely, give him a call. So we're going to get that scheduled and on the books.
Kelli (09:05.33)
That's amazing.
Awesome.
We Wine Whenever (09:09.789)
I talked to a couple other people too that I'm going to invite to come on the podcast and talk about their business a little bit and get some information out about their products. And then the one woman who I really needed to get her name from, I did not get her name, but as we were leaving, it was a long day. I we left the house at 10 and we didn't get back until like 630. It was a long day.
She had this product as I was getting ready to leave, Matt's like, you have to go try this. She does this thing for pain, like she'll massage you. And it's called Golden Dew Drops. I think that this might be her picture. Like I said, I did not get her name, but I do have her information. So she said to me, where do you have pain? And I was like, well, I have pain like in between my shoulders. I mean, you guys know I have pain everywhere. So she takes this oil.
Kelli (09:50.802)
Yeah.
We Wine Whenever (10:00.839)
And she's telling me about this oil, how she prayed on it. And, you know, it's this oil came from God and it's all natural and there's no THC in it and no CBD and it's got rosemary and it's got all these healing properties. And, you know, they started doing this and they weren't really sure if it was anything. And then all of a sudden they started researching it and it has all these therapeutic properties. So now it's patent pending and she's working with Rutgers to get the patent.
And she's telling, yeah, she's telling me about it. And she puts this oil on the back of my neck. I'm not lying to you. This is called triple X pain oil, XXX pain oil. It works. It totally works. So I got home. I was like, my God, this really works. didn't feel like normally I feel like such tension in just the back of my shoulders. So I said, you know, I have this, these bulging discs.
Kelli (10:27.408)
amazing.
We Wine Whenever (10:56.316)
So this morning after I took a shower, said, Bill, like put this all over my back. You don't even rub it in hard, you just like rub it in. And for hours, no pain, no pain. I'm telling you, it really works. And I started going online and looking at like her testimonials. She's been at like the Columbus flea market. Most of her testimonies are out there to be honest with you, because the wind's blowing and people are talking about it. My camera's going crazy because I keep moving.
Kelli (11:08.294)
Really?
We Wine Whenever (11:24.92)
Yeah, it is.
We Wine Whenever (11:25.863)
But it works. So I'm definitely going to get her on so she can talk about it and you guys can learn about this. Lori, I have a sample for you. She gave me a sample so you can try it.
Kelli (11:30.564)
Perfect.
We Wine Whenever (11:38.964)
beautiful. Because the tension in my shoulders and the back of my neck right now, I'm thinking about it. I'm like, I wish I had that oil. We did leaves. My whole yard was full of leaves.
We Wine Whenever (11:45.734)
Mm-hmm.
We Wine Whenever (11:49.551)
Yep.
Kelli (11:49.896)
Lori's gonna be knocking on your door as soon as we sign off. We're gonna be like, bye, you're gonna hear.
We Wine Whenever (11:52.25)
Yep, it is.
It is amazing. I really, don't know what it is. I don't know what it is. And she didn't exactly say when I watched the videos, I mean, she said, you know, one of the main ingredients is olive oil, which I was like, okay, olive oil, but there's Rosemary. It smells to me like a tea tree oil. What it's, it's got, yeah. Some people say they felt heat. this cat, see, I'm not even moving and my camera's moving. I don't know what it is.
Kelli (12:14.522)
a eucalyptus.
We Wine Whenever (12:24.088)
making me dizzy.
We Wine Whenever (12:25.265)
but I'm telling you, I know, close your eyes. So anyway, we're gonna have her on. I have her information. I just don't know her name, unfortunately. Yeah, so it was a good, I'm glad I went. It was a good day.
We Wine Whenever (12:29.08)
You
Kelli (12:38.28)
That sounds great.
Kelli (12:43.474)
Yeah, for sure.
We Wine Whenever (12:45.393)
So now we'll talk about Salt Lake City, the desert and the deserted. Since I've been talking, do you want to start?
Kelli (12:53.788)
Did you guys forget that Meredith was even on this show until you saw the first scene with her? As soon as she came on the screen I was like, that's right, Meredith is on this show.
We Wine Whenever (12:59.46)
Yeah, right?
We Wine Whenever (13:03.312)
Meredith's a cast member. So what do you guys think? Rate the episode between one and 10. What do think this episode was? One being the worst and 10 being great.
We Wine Whenever (13:22.567)
I say a five.
Kelli (13:24.486)
Yeah, I'm right there with you. I don't love Salt Lake City. Where are you?
We Wine Whenever (13:24.56)
Yeah, me too. Four or five. I don't know.
in general. I don't know. I'm at like a four. I'm just, it's a lot. It's a lot. Like, just trying to figure out who's arguing with who and yeah.
Kelli (13:40.092)
Okay.
Kelli (13:44.392)
In general, not a big Salt Lake fan. Yeah.
We Wine Whenever (13:50.276)
It's it's a lot.
Kelli (13:50.81)
It's, it's minutia.
We Wine Whenever (13:54.032)
Mmm.
What about you, Wendy?
We Wine Whenever (14:00.871)
I mean, I'm not, I don't like what's happening with Heather. I don't like how Heather's behaving this season. I don't like what's going on with Whitney. I've never been a Lisa Barlow fan, never liked Meredith. you know, it's like, what do I do? You know, I actually believe it or not, I believe it or not, I actually do like Bronwyn. I think that Bronwyn is very, very smart. And I think that she's calling them out.
We Wine Whenever (14:17.359)
Yeah.
Kelli (14:18.069)
Where do you look? Which way do you look?
We Wine Whenever (14:29.561)
and they're just not used to it. I'm also liking Brandy. Brittany, not Brandy, Brittany. Like, you know, we didn't see her that much in this episode, you know, as opposed to Meredith and Lisa, you know.
Kelli (14:30.012)
Yes. Right.
We Wine Whenever (14:39.588)
Well-
We Wine Whenever (14:47.728)
Well, Brittany at least, yeah, at least Brittany is who she is. Like she may seem foolish sometimes or immature or you think to yourself, my gosh, like why would you do or say that on camera? But that's kind of the charm of her, at least on a show like this is that she's definitely just who she is. She doesn't curb any of her.
We Wine Whenever (14:48.58)
And Mary, I like Mary.
Kelli (14:50.76)
Love and Merry.
Kelli (14:54.92)
Mm-hmm.
We Wine Whenever (15:16.964)
foolishness and she just, whereas I do like Brahman, but, there's something about her that's just.
We Wine Whenever (15:27.0)
I don't know, I'm trying to figure it out. She's just a little too theatrical for me sometimes. I'm really not sure about her relationship with her husband.
Kelli (15:35.324)
think judging by her house, that might just be her personality. Like look at the decor in her house. It reminds me of the house in Beetlejuice when Catherine O'Hara comes in and starts decorating the house in Beetlejuice, the original, because I didn't see the second one.
We Wine Whenever (15:41.091)
Hmm.
We Wine Whenever (15:54.478)
I don't know, I just feel like all this goings on, I feel like it's...
We Wine Whenever (16:04.856)
It's something that she uses to cover up. Like, I don't know. I don't know. I'm trying to figure it out. I'm trying to figure it out with her.
Kelli (16:12.956)
Well, it does seem like she, you her husband travels every week. It does seem like he puts his foot down when he needs to. And maybe she's just, you know, having a little fun with the money.
We Wine Whenever (16:22.041)
Most definitely.
We Wine Whenever (16:30.959)
Well, she's definitely having fun with the money.
We Wine Whenever (16:31.044)
Yeah, I don't know.
Kelli (16:34.348)
Yeah. Yeah.
We Wine Whenever (16:35.929)
So it kind of starts out with Meredith and Lisa, they're talking about the von Mitzvah, Meredith's von Mitzvah, and she's trying to get all of her family there. And she tells Heather that she's getting her von Mitzvah. She finds out that Heather's not going on the trip because she was never invited because she couldn't make up with Bronwyn. Then Bronwyn calls Lisa to make sure that her and John are going to be OK with Whitney.
Kelli (17:01.628)
which I don't think there's anything wrong with that.
We Wine Whenever (17:04.193)
No, with Whitney and Justin being there.
We Wine Whenever (17:04.291)
I think it was Mighty Nice. Yeah, I it was Mighty Nice.
Kelli (17:06.906)
Exactly. Lisa's like, why is she doing that? Like, we're not gonna start any problems. I think it was nice of her to do that.
We Wine Whenever (17:13.029)
I do too. I 100 % do too. And Lisa was like insulted. Like my husband's a CEO. Of course he knows how to behave. But you don't know how to behave. what? Yeah. Right.
We Wine Whenever (17:13.882)
Yeah, absolutely.
We Wine Whenever (17:19.78)
Yeah, okay. You don't know how to behave, right? Yeah, he's not the problem. You are, Lisa.
Kelli (17:20.156)
That's not the... Exactly, and that's not the point.
Kelli (17:26.77)
Great.
We Wine Whenever (17:27.288)
Right.
So then Meredith said that Sean went on the podcast and was talking about Brooks and that she's using him as a pawn and was deflecting about her own wrongdoings.
Kelli (17:42.376)
Wait, who'd she say said that?
We Wine Whenever (17:45.519)
Sean, Angie's husband. Yeah, Angie's husband.
We Wine Whenever (17:46.224)
Sean. Yeah. Right, but, but this is the thing.
Kelli (17:46.514)
Sean, Angie's husband. OK, thank you.
We Wine Whenever (17:52.271)
So she tried, go ahead.
We Wine Whenever (17:54.468)
This is a thing. Is that-
They had this thing with Meredith bringing up these rumors about Shawn. Okay. And then Meredith is the one who decided to make her own social media post and bring her son into it and say, you know, that's not something I would do because my son is dot, dot, dot, dot. So you're the one who brought your son into the picture. So I don't understand why she's acting like
Kelli (18:25.35)
Yeah, good point.
We Wine Whenever (18:26.371)
Right.
We Wine Whenever (18:28.738)
You know, like Sean, you know, okay, yes, he did say something like that on the podcast, but you're the one who decided to march your son out to deflect from yourself. That's, and whether you did it and you didn't really think it through.
We Wine Whenever (18:48.196)
I don't see how that's his fault.
We Wine Whenever (18:51.629)
No, it's absolutely not his fault. And what she was saying is that she had tried to bring this up to Sean at the party at Angie's party, his and Angie's party. And, you know, he said that he didn't think that he did anything wrong. And Meredith is then telling the other the other ladies that, you know, not once did he say that, you know, I shouldn't have talked about your son and say, I'm sorry. Well, because he doesn't feel like he needs to apologize. So why would he say, I'm sorry? Just like. Right.
Kelli (19:17.586)
And your son's a grown adult on his own reality TV show, so he could just get over it.
We Wine Whenever (19:21.389)
Right.
Just like Lisa's looking for an apology from Justin when she's the one who went towards him and she's the one who was in his space and cursing at his wife. I mean, like these people are delusional.
We Wine Whenever (19:31.674)
Yeah, that's crazy. Yeah.
Kelli (19:36.7)
They really are.
We Wine Whenever (19:39.524)
So then Braunwyn's in her closet and she's getting ready with her dogs and they're all wearing the same matching egg pajamas? Like this is what I'm saying. Like I like it. Like this is what I like. I like the silliness. I really do. I like that her and her dogs have matching egg pajamas. I'm sorry. Yes. I think it's hysterical. I think that Lori would have matching egg pajamas with her animals as well.
We Wine Whenever (19:46.0)
I saw that.
We Wine Whenever (19:55.012)
Yeah. Yeah.
Kelli (19:55.537)
O'Brahman.
We Wine Whenever (19:59.972)
I would have matching. Yes, I would. If I had, if I had Ronwin's money, I would definitely have matching pajamas. Yes. That would be a kooky rich girl thing that I would do.
Kelli (20:01.8)
For sure. For sure.
Kelli (20:06.214)
Yes.
We Wine Whenever (20:06.284)
Yes.
We Wine Whenever (20:10.883)
And then I Know that's why I liked it. I think it you know I think it's quirky. I like it so she's facetiming with Todd who's in Korea at the time and He asks how are the things going with all your friends, and she says you know I'm really hoping it's gonna go well. You know I talked to everybody I'm hoping that this you know there's not gonna be any drama, and he makes it pretty clear now It's the second time we've heard from him That he doesn't want any drama
You know, this is their anniversary that they're sharing with these people. It's their weekend and he doesn't want drama. Like, let's act like adults. I don't think that's an unreasonable ask in my opinion. I don't.
Kelli (20:49.266)
Right.
Kelli (20:52.753)
either.
We Wine Whenever (20:52.822)
No, but he is on a reality TV show. So I really don't know what he's expecting. I don't know. Like this is how they make their money by having altercations and drama. So I don't know how he really thought. And, and really, honestly, I mean, I would imagine that probably the reality is that they paid for the jet, but I'm pretty sure Bravo paid for that place that they stayed at. So.
Kelli (21:00.52)
That's a very solid point.
Kelli (21:07.741)
You're right.
We Wine Whenever (21:22.552)
I don't know, it just kinda... You don't think so? Bravo pays for those!
We Wine Whenever (21:23.393)
I don't think so.
Kelli (21:26.428)
You know, the cast trips are tricky. Like sometimes they pay for them. But if you want any upgrades, like a private jet, you have to pay for that. So Lori could be right. Bravo could have been paying for the house. that's what I mean. I don't know. I don't know.
We Wine Whenever (21:29.4)
Now.
We Wine Whenever (21:40.292)
Yeah.
We Wine Whenever (21:44.124)
And at 20,000 a night, Bravo, Bravo wasn't paying for that house. Who was talking about it? Somebody was talking about it recently on one of the podcasts we were listening to. I don't know if you listen to it yet. Crystal and Cynthia Bailey. OK, so listen to that podcast. Cynthia Bailey and Crystal Minkoff have a podcast together. And I forget what it's called, but they were just talking about how the cast trips work and what you're expected to do.
We Wine Whenever (21:46.156)
Yeah, that was the other thing.
Kelli (22:01.478)
I have not.
We Wine Whenever (22:14.26)
and who pays for what. And it was different information from different cast. So yeah, because Beverly Hills is the same as the OC for a production company and Atlanta was different than that. So different things happen in different places. So just keep that in mind, right? Yeah.
Kelli (22:20.636)
Yeah, I think it's different on different franchises.
We Wine Whenever (22:36.269)
Yeah, because I was thinking, well, you know, kind of depends. Like if, if Bravo's foot in the bill, then guess what? It's a work trip. It's not really your anniversary trip. Saddle up. Yeah.
Kelli (22:36.646)
Yeah.
Kelli (22:45.564)
Right, saddle up. You might not want the drama, but you're gonna get the drama, because Bravo's paying.
We Wine Whenever (22:47.657)
Right.
We Wine Whenever (22:51.224)
And I mean, I like it that he's like, this is stupid. I like that. But I don't.
We Wine Whenever (22:58.059)
Yeah.
Kelli (22:58.31)
Right. But you're right. Your wife chose to be a real housewife of Salt Lake City. So you either hop on board or don't be on the show. Don't film with her. Because this is what it is.
We Wine Whenever (23:04.172)
Yeah, like...
We Wine Whenever (23:09.932)
Yeah. Yeah. So then we see.
We Wine Whenever (23:11.288)
Yeah, that's why I was kind of like, hmm.
Kelli (23:15.602)
Yeah.
We Wine Whenever (23:16.929)
Then we see Angie and Sean are talking about the trip and they're packing and Sean asks Angie how she feels about the dynamic with her and Lisa and she's like, I don't really feel like it's that good and I let her get away with being mean to me for too long and I'm glad that she's finally standing up for herself because I agree she has let her get away with being mean to her for too long. And then we see Whitney and just
We Wine Whenever (23:39.812)
Well, you know, if your husband agrees, you know, your husband agrees, he's the one who said to her, no, she's been mean to you a lot.
We Wine Whenever (23:49.567)
Yeah. Yeah.
We Wine Whenever (23:49.712)
is already dead.
Kelli (23:51.472)
Meredith getting mad that Shawn may or may not have said something about her grown-ass adult son, but last year she was going around saying that Shawn cheats on Angie Whitman and didn't have a care in the world about his young daughter. Like, you want to bring kids into it? Look at what you did last year.
We Wine Whenever (24:03.104)
Right. Exactly. Right.
We Wine Whenever (24:04.976)
Are you?
Kelli (24:11.142)
These women are so entitled and then they, the expectations of others are higher than what they feel the expectations should be from themselves, yes.
We Wine Whenever (24:21.825)
for themselves. Mm-hmm. I agree with you.
We Wine Whenever (24:25.892)
Right. And I think that's one of the biggest reasons. I mean, there's several, which I have written down, but I think that's one of the biggest reasons why Bronwyn did the flip out.
because that's exactly what she was saying is that, what is this bullshit expectation? Yeah.
Kelli (24:39.182)
Aunt Lisa?
Kelli (24:43.4)
Absolutely.
We Wine Whenever (24:44.747)
Yeah.
Kelli (24:47.943)
Right.
I gotta ride your, well, all right, we'll get there.
We Wine Whenever (24:52.16)
Yeah, yeah, we'll get there. So then Whitney and Justin are packing and Whitney asks Justin, know, how do think it's gonna be with John? And Justin thinks it's gonna be fine. And then he lets Whitney know that John said that, you know, Lisa's expecting an apology from Justin and Whitney's like, nope, you know, not happening. And then John and Lisa are packing and she's sitting on the floor and she's got her hundred pair of sunglasses on the floor. He asks,
We Wine Whenever (24:52.529)
Yeah, we'll get there.
Kelli (25:19.25)
And she's like, I'm only gonna bring like three or four. He's like, how many are gonna bring? She's like, I don't know, like three or four. He's like, that's it. How many days are you going for?
We Wine Whenever (25:21.726)
Right.
We Wine Whenever (25:25.749)
Yeah, I mean...
We Wine Whenever (25:26.436)
Woo!
We Wine Whenever (25:29.023)
I think three, maybe four. And she's saying things with Whitney and Angie aren't so great. And Justin still owes me an apology too. So she's still waiting for her apology. says, yeah, John tells her that Justin says that, you know, he's still going to have to think about that just to set that expectation. At the airport, they get on the private plane and Braunman tries to put each of them on the plane.
Kelli (25:43.868)
probably still waiting today.
We Wine Whenever (25:59.133)
next to a person that they're not having a conflict with, which I thought was smart.
Kelli (26:03.322)
None of them are dressed appropriately to fly, by the way.
We Wine Whenever (26:06.072)
now.
Kelli (26:08.912)
not a one.
We Wine Whenever (26:14.0)
They land at the thermal private airport in Palm Springs, California. And the ladies and their husbands go in two separate cars. So in car one, it's Bronwyn, Whitney and Angie and their husbands. And in car two, it's Lisa and Meredith and their husbands. So Seth is asking John about the altercation between him and Whitney and Lisa. And they're kind of explaining that. And
Seth asked if it's back to balance, like, you guys okay? He says, yeah, think, you know, I think John and I are good. And she was talking to Lisa about what happened with Heather and how things didn't go well, which, you know, we know that things didn't go well. That's why Heather's not there, right? And then Braunwyn is saying that she's very upset about her conversation with Lisa and Meredith on the plane because she was trying to tell them about what had happened with Heather and
Kelli (26:59.432)
Right. Right.
We Wine Whenever (27:10.449)
she felt like they were taking Heather's side, which is what, right. that's, mean, Bronwyn's been friends with Lisa. Like, you know, and you're going on her private plane. you're like, come on.
Kelli (27:12.754)
They totally defending her.
Kelli (27:25.426)
Great, great.
We Wine Whenever (27:28.735)
They don't think that she's giving Heather a chance. And I do think she gave Heather a chance. That's why she invited her over to her house.
Kelli (27:36.754)
I think she just sees Heather for who Heather is.
We Wine Whenever (27:39.295)
Yeah. And then they show up at the vacation rental, which we just said was $20,000 a night. The house is beautiful. Lisa said,
We Wine Whenever (27:46.116)
Mm-hmm.
Kelli (27:51.368)
Seth was on the hunt for a bathtub, a room with a bathtub.
We Wine Whenever (27:54.41)
That was hysterical. I was hysterical. And John was helping him because he knew how important that was. I thought that was so funny. The two of them were running around looking and there was none. There was no bathtub to be had.
Kelli (28:06.342)
Nope, nope.
We Wine Whenever (28:09.981)
Lisa said the best thing about the house is that there was two wings and she wouldn't have to be near Whitney.
Kelli (28:17.138)
Hmm, so stupid.
We Wine Whenever (28:18.687)
Bronwyn says that there's a bad vibe with her and Lisa and now she doesn't even know where she's, where they are on the property. Cause Lisa and Meredith kind of like went and took their own rooms and didn't even like weren't talking to the other women like to see what was going on, which I did think that was a little odd. I mean, I know that Seth was looking for the bathtub, but I don't know.
Kelli (28:43.482)
No, they totally went off on their own like two clicky high schoolers.
We Wine Whenever (28:46.835)
Yes, that's what it is. That's exactly what it is. Yes. Meanwhile, they're grown ass women.
We Wine Whenever (28:46.884)
yet.
Kelli (28:50.534)
Yeah, they're like mean girls.
We Wine Whenever (28:52.302)
Yeah, that's definitely what it was giving.
Kelli (28:56.902)
Yeah, definitely giving Mean Girls vibes.
We Wine Whenever (28:59.056)
Mm-hmm.
We Wine Whenever (29:02.334)
And then Lisa and Meredith are outside and they're talking about the food in Italy and Lisa says the food in Italy is too fresh? What?
We Wine Whenever (29:09.594)
She's a jackass. What is this? Like, what the... That's the dumbest thing I ever heard her say.
Kelli (29:10.29)
What a stupid thing to say.
Kelli (29:17.512)
100 % and she has said some dumb shit that is by far the dumbest. People go to Italy for the food.
We Wine Whenever (29:22.073)
Yeah, what?
We Wine Whenever (29:22.334)
I mean, I know she likes junk food. Like she eats fast food all the time and diet soda. But I mean, come on. Even Meredith called her out on that. She's like, what?
Kelli (29:27.26)
Yeah. Yeah, that's her gig.
We Wine Whenever (29:31.418)
Ruff.
Kelli (29:33.446)
Yeah, yeah. That was dumb.
We Wine Whenever (29:38.718)
And how about when the private jeweler shows up?
We Wine Whenever (29:42.426)
don't know about that whole thing. That seemed like a weird flex.
We Wine Whenever (29:43.292)
the private jeweler.
Kelli (29:46.312)
$4 million necklace, $1.4 million earrings, and she just left them there for her to decide.
We Wine Whenever (29:52.4)
Well, they do do if you really have the bankroll and you've purchased from them before, they will leave it to you on loan. I don't know. I just thought it was just like a weird flex. I was just like, I don't know. Yeah.
We Wine Whenever (29:52.829)
Mush.
Kelli (30:00.658)
You must.
Kelli (30:09.22)
it was a total flex. Total flex.
We Wine Whenever (30:12.222)
170 carats, $4 million. Would you ever, listen, even if you, would you wear it? How could you wear that?
Kelli (30:21.34)
I would be petrified to wear that.
We Wine Whenever (30:21.678)
wear it. No, I'd wear that shit.
We Wine Whenever (30:24.53)
I mean, did you see what happened to Kim Kardashian when those armed people broke into her place in, wasn't it Paris?
We Wine Whenever (30:29.52)
yeah, yeah, Yeah, yep. Yep.
Kelli (30:31.809)
yeah, yeah, yeah, when she was in the hotel, yeah.
We Wine Whenever (30:34.128)
Right? mean, seriously, like you don't wear that. Like you get costume. I'm not joking. Like seriously, why would you wear a $4 million? It makes no sense.
Kelli (30:39.41)
That's right.
Kelli (30:46.898)
Right, like where are you going? Are you going to the Oscars? Where are going?
We Wine Whenever (30:50.438)
Even if you are, even if you are going to the, I mean, if you're going to the, you need an armed guard with you. You cannot walk around with $4 million on your neck.
We Wine Whenever (30:50.628)
I don't know.
Kelli (30:55.376)
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. No. No!
We Wine Whenever (31:01.17)
I'm sorry, I just think that that's strange. I thought it was also hysterical. I thought it was strange. So then Angie and Sean are outside playing volleyball and then the ball goes in the water and then she's trying to get the ball out of the water and then she's whacking the water. But meanwhile, the jeweler is right there and they're out there on the patio listening to them whack around the ball.
We Wine Whenever (31:04.11)
I thought the whole thing was strange.
Kelli (31:21.872)
and the effort she put in to get the ball, and then she lets the fucking ball go in the water again. I'm like, my god! It was like watching one of your kids screw up over and over again. You're like, come on!
We Wine Whenever (31:26.937)
Again.
We Wine Whenever (31:32.838)
huh. huh. Yep.
We Wine Whenever (31:34.557)
I was laughing. I was like, my God, they're so funny.
Kelli (31:40.196)
Yeah. Do Seth and Meredith, do you think they're even together? Don't they seem like actors when they're in a scene together? Doesn't it feel like they're acting?
We Wine Whenever (31:50.298)
I think that...
We Wine Whenever (31:51.485)
I think it's because Meredith is so cold.
We Wine Whenever (31:53.944)
Yeah. I think that they maybe have just not an open marriage, but I just think that they have like an arrangement. Like he does what he wants to do. She does what she wants to do. He comes home once in a while. They pretend like they're a family. And I think that actually, if anything, she was pissed because he was fucking around with her airtime. She's like, I'm on this show. It's a couple's weekend.
Kelli (32:20.402)
I agree with you.
We Wine Whenever (32:23.534)
You're supposed to be filming with me. What are you doing? But, but now see, so this is, I made some notes on this. So this is a thing. So either, either way, I think it's messed up because,
Kelli (32:28.198)
and now you're saying you gotta go.
We Wine Whenever (32:44.624)
Let's see. You know, she was saying, this doesn't add up and she's making it sound like he's cheating. So if it's produced...
Kelli (32:51.752)
Yeah, which she has insinuated before in prior seasons.
We Wine Whenever (32:56.472)
Right. So if it's produced, it's shitty. And even if it's not produced, it's still shitty because you're making money off your marriage and your marriage problems. Because like in real life, this makes me think it's produced. In real life, like why would John and Lisa just sit there? Like I, he would have said that I would have saw her face. I would have been like, let's go inside and get something to eat. I would have been like,
out of there. I would never have sat there or why someone spoke like that in regards to their marriage because it was so, I don't know. And I'd rather, I'd rather be poor than that's how I make my money.
Kelli (33:26.866)
Yes, out of there.
We Wine Whenever (33:44.644)
That's just my opinion.
Kelli (33:45.382)
I totally agree with you.
Kelli (33:49.544)
I don't think she's the first housewife to make a marriage story for a storyline. I just think she's very bad at it. She's a very bad actress. You see right through her. I think they 100 % have an open marriage. I don't even give a shit if they have an open marriage. But I think she's a terrible actress and you see right through it.
We Wine Whenever (33:56.016)
Mm.
We Wine Whenever (34:16.783)
No,
Kelli (34:16.924)
She has no, she brings nothing to the table, Meredith, and she never has. She never has. She doesn't talk about her own life, except this nonsense that you could see right through. Even her kids, like she never talks about her daughter. Once in a while she talks about Brooks. The first season I think Brooks had more of a presence, but now, you know, he's off doing his own thing.
We Wine Whenever (34:40.988)
I agree with you that she doesn't bring anything to the table. Like I said, I've never been a fan of Meredith Marks, but I don't know if I agree with you that the marriage is fake. I don't. I mean...
Kelli (34:53.478)
don't think it's fake. think that her acting like she's upset that he has to leave, like it is what it is. Like he's in Ohio doing his thing. You're right now in Salt Lake doing your thing because you're filming, but otherwise you're not in Salt Lake. You don't live in Salt Lake. We all know that now.
We Wine Whenever (35:14.148)
Yeah.
Kelli (35:15.526)
Like if this is what your marriage is, that your husband goes to Ohio and stays for however long and you you guys are hooking up with other people. Show it! Show it.
We Wine Whenever (35:29.147)
Do you think that because it was a couple's trip, she felt like she had to bring him where she wouldn't have been invited? So then who would Heather have brought? Because Heather didn't have a couple. Is that yet another reason why Heather wasn't invited?
Kelli (35:34.418)
Yeah.
Kelli (35:41.212)
Maybe.
We Wine Whenever (35:43.376)
Well, I think too that Brahman was just trying to smooth things over and be like, look, you and I haven't really gotten along. We haven't gotten off on the right foot. I've sent some dicky things. You've said some dicky things. I'm having this trip. know, kind of basically it's a couple's trip and she probably wouldn't have been invited anyway because it was a couple's trip. But I think Brahman's point was
We Wine Whenever (35:43.451)
because she wouldn't have been a couple?
We Wine Whenever (36:10.704)
You know, like, I don't want that to now add on to whatever bad vibe we've got going on. Right.
Kelli (36:17.916)
whatever this is that we have.
We Wine Whenever (36:20.213)
Right. But think about it because, you know, Mary, she said Mary couldn't make it, but we know that Mary's husband won't film. Yeah, but again, we know that Mary's
We Wine Whenever (36:25.754)
So she did invite Mary. Right. But I guess she did invite her, right. So she wouldn't have come as a couple anyway. I got you.
We Wine Whenever (36:33.593)
Right. Right. She wouldn't have come as a couple anyway, because we know that her husband won't film. I don't know. That's actually more of what I question, because I'm thinking, if you and your husband have this arrangement where he is working in Ohio and you're here, then you're here and he's there. Just let him do the work. I mean, even when we're going to get to the point with Todd, you know, I...
Kelli (36:39.57)
Right.
We Wine Whenever (37:01.133)
Every scene I've seen with Todd, I just think he's very awkward on camera. I think he's awkward. I think he feels out of place. I think he doesn't really fit in. I personally would rather not see him. I'd rather just hear about him. I just think he doesn't work in this show, in my opinion. And I get it that he's her husband, but I'd rather just not see him. I'd rather just hear about him, just like Mary's husband. I'm like, it's okay.
Kelli (37:26.024)
They should really, well, I'd like to say they should really just keep the husbands off, but then, but that is them showing their real lives when their husbands are on. Like I like when the OC husbands are on. I mean, I love when the Jersey husbands are on, but you know, OC I like when the husbands are on.
We Wine Whenever (37:43.564)
I know, but you know what, don't really see that, know, guess every, know, Potomac, don't see the husbands that much because who even has a husband at this point, right? I mean, Karen.
Kelli (37:53.096)
care.
We Wine Whenever (37:58.146)
I am.
Kelli (37:59.026)
I mean, Jassy's got, you know, she's building her house. she's the one that's building her kiana. Right, right. That's what I'm saying.
We Wine Whenever (38:03.458)
Yeah, but they're not husbands. mean, Mia had a husband, but they're divorced. Yeah, so I don't know. I just think sometimes the husbands don't work and maybe we don't force it. Maybe we don't do these couples things. I think that this trip to Palm Springs would have been better if there was no husbands there, personally, myself. I think that it would have been more real and we could have maybe seen better interactions. That's all I'm saying.
Kelli (38:11.122)
Right.
Kelli (38:16.752)
Right. Right. Right.
Kelli (38:24.272)
Yes. Yes.
Kelli (38:31.644)
Right. Right.
We Wine Whenever (38:34.17)
I think, cause then Seth says they're all the men are there together and he says, to all the men, one thing I say, you judge a straight man by their wife and we crushed it gentlemen. We kicked, we kicked, we outkicked our coverage. Right. And then Todd says, no, I'm going to make a different point. I think they outkicked their coverage, meaning that he was, I'm like, what?
Kelli (38:48.86)
I'll kick dark coverage, yeah.
Kelli (38:57.126)
Yeah, that was a bold statement, Todd.
We Wine Whenever (38:59.136)
Yeah, that really was a bold statement, especially coming from him.
We Wine Whenever (39:04.132)
Yeah. Yeah.
Kelli (39:04.136)
Yeah, it's a little bit of a reach, Todd. I mean, I know you got the bankroll, but... She's a baddie, Bronwyn.
We Wine Whenever (39:09.337)
Right. Yeah. And then they're all sitting there talking about what happened with Heather and they feel bad about it and Lisa feels the need at this point to FaceTime Heather when I didn't realize that Braunwyn went to the bathroom. I didn't know why she wasn't there at the time to be honest with you.
Kelli (39:25.896)
I can't believe Lisa did that and I can't believe she doesn't think there's anything wrong with that. I mean...
We Wine Whenever (39:29.976)
Now wait, I gotta ask a question. Didn't Meredith say, let's call her?
We Wine Whenever (39:30.178)
No, I can't either.
Yeah.
Kelli (39:41.384)
I don't remember. I don't actually remember.
We Wine Whenever (39:43.194)
I think she did. I think she, I think she did. And then Lisa called her. So, but you know what? You can't tell me, you can't tell me, but you can't tell me in a million years that that wasn't produced. Come on.
Kelli (39:52.21)
That's interesting.
We Wine Whenever (39:53.537)
Either way, right?
Kelli (40:03.098)
No, I think you're right, but I don't think Brahman was in on it, do you?
We Wine Whenever (40:07.6)
No, I don't think she would. No, think they, I think they sideswiped her on that one. Yes. Okay. And you know what? Not for nothing. I'm going tell you one of the worst things about that was that look on Lisa's face after she hung up from that phone call. I would have punched that bitch right in her face. The smirk on her face. You're sitting in my $20,000, especially if her husband paid for
We Wine Whenever (40:08.205)
Definitely not.
Kelli (40:10.982)
Right, I think when she walked away they were like, you should call Heather and they were like, okay.
Kelli (40:33.372)
Really?
We Wine Whenever (40:37.71)
my $20,000 night rental and you're gonna do that and then you're gonna hang up the phone and look at me with that face? no, no, no, no, no.
Kelli (40:47.654)
Right. Yeah, like there's no accountability, nothing, nada nada. She saw nothing wrong with that. Could you imagine if somebody did that to her? Could you imagine if she planned a trip, didn't invite Whitney, and while they were all there, Heather Face-timed Whitney? I mean, Lisa would have lost her damn mind.
We Wine Whenever (40:57.281)
No, she didn't.
We Wine Whenever (41:07.319)
now.
We Wine Whenever (41:10.542)
Yeah, it was a dick move.
We Wine Whenever (41:11.521)
Yeah, I agree.
Kelli (41:13.919)
total dick move.
We Wine Whenever (41:18.712)
So after that happens, Braunwyn tells Lisa that she's not even listening to her. She's just taking Heather's side. Braunwyn's been friends with Lisa for quite a while, and she was recently on a hike with the other girls, and they were talking badly about Lisa. And she stuck up for her, which she did. Which she did. She did not join in on that conversation, and she certainly could have. And...
Kelli (41:35.016)
100 %
No? Yep.
We Wine Whenever (41:45.655)
Listen, I like that she's calling her out. do, I do. Lisa says, I'm gonna move over here and I'm gonna talk to you directly, because they are yelling back and forth across the hot tub at that point, right? And I don't need anyone talking for me, because that's when Meredith started jumping in, you know, you can't have this conversation. And then the men are in the pool and then they hear it getting louder and then, yeah.
Kelli (42:10.504)
They're scootin' over.
We Wine Whenever (42:11.683)
Mm-hmm.
We Wine Whenever (42:14.38)
You know, Braunman tells Lisa it's a double standard. I'm supposed to check in on you when somebody has a fight with you, but you're not going to check in on me when Heather's shit talking me. Heather's two faced. Yep. Yep. There sure is. And she was trying to make things better with Heather. She invited her over to her house.
Kelli (42:24.594)
There's a theme there with Lisa.
Kelli (42:33.448)
Mm-hmm.
We Wine Whenever (42:38.134)
And then she said, I have to protect you like it's my job and you're not there protecting me. And she said, well, you can say it, what she said, because I didn't write that down.
Kelli (42:44.294)
Yeah, I gotta ride your dick like it's my job.
We Wine Whenever (42:47.498)
That's right. That's what she said.
We Wine Whenever (42:48.676)
She said, yeah, she said, when it's me and somebody else, it's my responsibility to work it out. But when it's you and somebody else, my ass better ride your dick like it's my job, Lisa. That was a good one. But I did kind of feel though that that was not a produced moment and that the producer said what, like, just like you said, Wendy, when she was in the bathroom, they said, yeah, yeah, you know.
Kelli (43:02.29)
Yep. That was a great one.
We Wine Whenever (43:02.348)
Yep, it was a good one.
We Wine Whenever (43:17.71)
called FaceTime Heather. So.
We Wine Whenever (43:22.967)
Yeah.
Kelli (43:23.1)
Yeah. Lisa cannot apologize. Her and Tamara. I mean, there's plenty of other housewives too, but you know, that's fresh on my mind.
We Wine Whenever (43:27.241)
Right. Yep.
We Wine Whenever (43:31.396)
So I watched the after show. so on the after show, Bronwyn said that she felt like Lisa doing that wasn't like Lisa trying to be supportive of Heather at all, but just totally to antagonize her. She said, know, Bronwyn felt like she did everything right. She said,
We Wine Whenever (43:31.991)
So then Lisa says, good.
We Wine Whenever (44:00.548)
You know, I called her to make sure everything was good. And then she said, after she spoke to Lisa on the phone, Lisa like ghosted her for a little bit and wouldn't answer calls or texts. So she wasn't even sure, you know, positive that she was even going. And then, you know, when they get on the plane, she felt like she was like bombarded with proclamations that, you know,
she, Bronwyn, is misunderstanding Heather. that, you know, Lisa, like we said, Lisa didn't even ask about what Bronwyn's side was, you know. And Meredith was there, and Meredith said, you know, Meredith actually did call Heather out on the after show and said, well, that's nice that you wanted to check on your friend, but you didn't, you know, you didn't need to throw it in her face, in Bronwyn's face. So I was like, look at you, Meredith. Little bit of scruples.
We Wine Whenever (44:39.136)
Right.
Kelli (44:59.708)
Yeah.
We Wine Whenever (45:00.772)
And then Lisa said on the after show, maybe in hindsight, she should have called, you know, should have called privately. Well, actually you could have texted her and no one would even known.
Kelli (45:13.446)
Right. Or you could have just left her be and when you got home called and been like, listen, I'm really sorry that you weren't on the trip. We missed you. I missed you.
We Wine Whenever (45:21.764)
Right. Right. Yeah, that's all. I mean, Heather's a grown woman. She's... Yeah.
Kelli (45:26.46)
Why do you have to check in with her while you're there? That's disrespectful to Bronwyn. And if you're trying to stay out of it, stay out of it.
We Wine Whenever (45:30.254)
Yeah, to make trouble.
We Wine Whenever (45:30.614)
100%. It's 100%.
We Wine Whenever (45:34.328)
Mm-hmm. Yep.
We Wine Whenever (45:34.558)
Right, exactly, exactly. So then Bronwyn gets up and she walks away and Lisa says, this is amazing. I didn't do anything wrong. I don't feel bad. And she'll hear from Heather and everything will be okay. Then Whitney gets up and goes inside to see how Bronwyn's doing. She's like, I just want to make sure you're okay. And I'm glad that she did that because you know what? Someone had to go after her. Bronwyn said she doesn't want to say, you know, that this, that she was wrong, meaning Lisa.
Kelli (45:52.711)
Yeah.
We Wine Whenever (45:55.749)
Yeah.
We Wine Whenever (46:03.06)
And Heather was wrong when she didn't give you the apology. Like, Whitney's got her back.
Kelli (46:08.69)
Yep, which I don't like Whitney, but I'm glad somebody's got Brahman's back.
We Wine Whenever (46:13.95)
It's interesting though, because when Whitney was on Watch What Happens Live, she said that while she was filming, she thought that Braun, she was on like, she had like both sides, but now that filming's over that she thinks that Heather was right. Did you hear that on Watch What Happens Live?
We Wine Whenever (46:30.692)
Yeah, she said she's on Heather's side. Uh-huh. Yeah. Uh-huh. Uh-huh.
Kelli (46:35.176)
Whitney?
We Wine Whenever (46:35.188)
Yeah, yes, on Watch What Happens Live. So another thing, I thought that was interesting too. Another thing that was said on Watch What Happens Live is a stuff about Adam from Up and Adam and his rebuttal. Yep. So she said that she was good friends with Adam's husband, that he's from Salt Lake City. And that's not true. He's not from Salt Lake City.
Kelli (46:40.347)
Interesting.
We Wine Whenever (46:47.32)
Yes, I saw that and I watched Adam come back to that.
We Wine Whenever (47:05.001)
He's not good friends with his husband. He said that she's totally lying. Whitney has blocked him. They're at total opposites of what's happening here. And honestly, I mean, I think it's messy. I don't think that he should have even been involved in this whole situation.
Kelli (47:10.376)
I saw that.
Kelli (47:25.52)
No, none of these housewives should be talking to any of these bloggers, podcasters, anybody. They shouldn't be talking to them.
We Wine Whenever (47:30.323)
or a pocket.
We Wine Whenever (47:34.041)
Mm-hmm.
We Wine Whenever (47:34.385)
not in the midst of filming and not about stuff like this, no. So I think that this needs to be addressed at the reunion.
Kelli (47:38.184)
Mm-hmm.
We Wine Whenever (47:42.852)
Yeah. Now, there you go. Another thing is that he kind of made reference to Heather Gay is going to be branching out on Bravo. And he does, sometimes he does his podcast with this other girl and she said, maybe like, you know, a show with Beauty Lab.
Kelli (47:43.494)
Yeah, somebody said they should have Adam on the reunion.
We Wine Whenever (48:13.673)
and Heather, like that would be more of the focus. So I don't know.
We Wine Whenever (48:17.086)
Okay.
Kelli (48:20.316)
Like, she's gonna get a spin-off?
We Wine Whenever (48:22.224)
Kind of, yeah, that's what they were making it sound like. How she's kind of a little bit, yeah. I know, I just thought that was interesting.
Kelli (48:25.916)
That would shock me.
I thought he meant when he said she's branching out, she was gonna be on the dating show with Luan and Shannon. Isn't Ashley, Shannon, Luan, and Heather, right?
We Wine Whenever (48:38.584)
Yes.
We Wine Whenever (48:42.414)
Yeah, I think so. Yeah.
We Wine Whenever (48:43.709)
Is it Heather?
Kelli (48:45.008)
I thought it was Heather Gay.
We Wine Whenever (48:46.325)
Okay, I don't know. don't know.
We Wine Whenever (48:47.961)
Yeah, I don't know.
Kelli (48:49.224)
We'll have to look it up. But that would shock me if Heather got, Bravo, doing the spin-offs.
We Wine Whenever (48:55.824)
Mm-hmm.
We Wine Whenever (48:55.881)
Well Lisa got the spin off with the salt selling Salt Lake. She's on that.
We Wine Whenever (48:58.702)
Yep, with the selling thought lake, yep. She's... Yeah, she's on a couple of... She's gonna be on a couple episodes. yeah. yeah.
Kelli (49:00.422)
Is she involved in that?
We Wine Whenever (49:02.015)
She's, I mean, yes, absolutely.
Kelli (49:05.393)
I didn't realize she was involved in it.
We Wine Whenever (49:10.377)
Yeah.
Kelli (49:11.046)
By the way, did you say that Josh and Heather Altman are leaving Million Dollar Listing LA? I hope, you know what, and I really like them, but I really hope they're not doing that to get their own show. Because that would upset me. Because I think he and Josh Flagg and Tracy Tudor have a great chemistry. And it would upset me if he left to get his own show.
We Wine Whenever (49:15.623)
I did, I did.
We Wine Whenever (49:35.56)
I don't think he would, I'll be honest with you. I think the reason that they're doing it is because they are overwhelmed. Heather is doing so much. They have so many offices. I mean, they're making their money on real estate. They're not making their money on TV. And he's got small children. I think he's just prioritizing his family over this. I think. I think. Yeah. I could be wrong, but that's what I think.
Kelli (49:41.786)
Yeah, that's what I thought.
Kelli (49:49.379)
yeah, right.
Kelli (49:56.154)
Yeah, and I'm happy for them, for them to do that.
We Wine Whenever (50:01.264)
So also on Watch What Happens Live, I thought it was interesting. They had Whitney get up. She was on with some other girl, Joy. I don't know who she was. So it was Whitney and then this girl, Joy. So they have Whitney get up and go by the green screen and put on some wacky glasses because they're playing a game or whatever.
guess whatever the celebrity does, whatever it is. So anyway, she comes back and while she's gone, this woman Joy, who is also on Watch What Happens Live, sits in Whitney's seat. You know, cause her seat is close to, what's his name? Closer to Andy. So Whitney is, Whitney kind of just like stands there.
Kelli (50:46.888)
closer to Andy.
We Wine Whenever (50:54.372)
Like, you gonna get up? No, no, she makes that other girl get up. I was like, okay. Yeah, she just kind of like stood there over her like, and you're sitting in my seat. Whereas the show was almost over, just sit in the other seat. It's a shit. Yeah. It's a thing.
Kelli (50:55.631)
doesn't sit in the second seat.
Kelli (51:03.59)
I did not see that and I'm glad I didn't.
Kelli (51:13.576)
Mm-hmm.
Kelli (51:18.566)
No, it's such a big deal to be next to Andy. And I will never forgive him for putting Rachel Fuda in the second seat, because he didn't do it to any other housewife. And he did it to her for some SNL actress.
We Wine Whenever (51:31.101)
This was an SNL actress that was on with Whitney too, by the way. can't...
Kelli (51:34.768)
Yeah, see? And Whitney was closer to Andy.
We Wine Whenever (51:35.395)
that's she was? Yeah, I didn't, couldn't think of her name. Joy something.
We Wine Whenever (51:37.849)
Yeah, yeah, yeah, she's from SNL. I didn't know, I didn't think her name was Joy, but maybe it was. As soon as Matt, because Matt happened to walk in, Matt walked in and he knew her. He's like, that's so and so. I was like, how do you know her? She had on the big balls, the jacket with the big colorful balls.
We Wine Whenever (51:44.219)
maybe I made it. I could have made it up.
Kelli (51:53.863)
Yeah.
We Wine Whenever (51:56.021)
No.
We Wine Whenever (51:58.856)
that wasn't her?
Kelli (52:01.713)
maybe that was another night with another housewife.
We Wine Whenever (52:03.251)
Yeah, maybe I guess listen I get them all confused if I don't write it down. I don't know I Don't know So then after that happens, you know Todd comes in and says what's going on Whitney says I'm gonna step out and Todd said I told you I wasn't gonna deal with this bullshit. Told you I told you either I can leave or they can leave Todd says I'll just get them a car and they can leave Bronwyn says maybe I could tell them
We Wine Whenever (52:03.994)
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. can keep track? Yeah.
Kelli (52:10.098)
Night.
We Wine Whenever (52:32.307)
because I'm a little bit nicer than you. He says, this is bullshit and I'm not sitting through this all weekend. So then Todd goes out to John and says, hey dude, this is out of control. All the bullshit between Lisa and Bronwyn, it's gotta stop. You guys gotta go. Or you guys gotta go. John says, okay, I'll go talk to Lisa. Listen, I thought it was direct. I kind of was here for it to be quite honest with you.
We Wine Whenever (52:34.734)
Hehehe.
Kelli (52:59.736)
Yeah, I don't think there was anything wrong with what he said. Or how he said it.
We Wine Whenever (53:00.144)
Okay.
No. No. Yeah.
We Wine Whenever (53:04.273)
I either. I think a lot of people had a problem with it though, but I didn't. I didn't.
We Wine Whenever (53:08.302)
No, no. So I have a question for you. What do we think is going to happen next week?
Kelli (53:08.657)
I didn't either.
We Wine Whenever (53:13.949)
Mm-hmm.
We Wine Whenever (53:17.018)
Do you think they're gonna leave? Do you think they're gonna stay? I think Lisa borrowed Alexa camera too much. I think she'll just be like, okay. Yeah, no.
Kelli (53:24.328)
I don't think they're leaving. I mean, they're not leaving on their own. They're gonna say that they're gonna tow the line and yeah, yep.
We Wine Whenever (53:25.715)
I don't think they're leaving.
We Wine Whenever (53:30.429)
Behave. Yeah.
We Wine Whenever (53:31.438)
Yeah. Yeah.
We Wine Whenever (53:34.193)
I don't think they're leaving either. Then Bronwyn and Todd go out to lunch and he said, I've had enough of this. I've had a whole weekend worth in three hours. It was only three hours at that point. That's crazy. That's putting it in perspective for us, right? John goes to talk to Lisa and says, what's going on with this? And Bronwyn said, you're not having my side with Heather and Heather's my friend too. And she expressed her feelings to me.
Kelli (53:46.072)
Wow, wow. Yeah, yeah.
We Wine Whenever (54:03.475)
Lisa said, what did Todd say to you? He said, Bronwyn is upset and if we can't figure this out, then he wants us to go. And the look on Lisa's face was like, what? Like, he wants us to go? Like, what did we do? But that's kind of where it ends. I do have some other information. sure you, I don't know if you guys saw this about the Beauty Lad lawsuit against Monica Garcia.
We Wine Whenever (54:17.269)
lord.
We Wine Whenever (54:21.818)
No.
We Wine Whenever (54:30.532)
Yeah, I thought that it got settled, right?
Kelli (54:31.676)
Well, last year they said.
We Wine Whenever (54:34.579)
Yeah, so Beauty Lab filed a proposed judgment on October 27th, which was approved by a judge and finalized on November 4th, ordering Garcia to pay up a total of $35,853.60. In addition to the original lawsuit, principal asking amount of $2,000 for her service with a pre-judgment
Kelli (54:51.016)
How did it get that high?
Kelli (54:57.768)
That's it. Yeah.
We Wine Whenever (55:00.147)
a prejudgment interest rate of 18 % per year between 2020 to 2024, which comes out to $1,683.62. Garcia was also ordered to pay $604.98 in court costs and fees. She also must pay Beauty Lab's attorney fees, which came out to a total of $31,550, which is what
Kelli (55:23.122)
That's it. The attorney's fees.
We Wine Whenever (55:27.959)
I want Shannon to sue John Jansen for her attorney fees. The thing I don't understand about this lawsuit is the original amount was $2,000. That could have went to small claims court. Why did they? But again, it could go.
Kelli (55:33.128)
Hell yeah. Hell yeah.
Kelli (55:42.674)
Yeah, but she wasn't paying it. They probably started out at small claims court.
We Wine Whenever (55:48.275)
But if you get the judgment in small claims court, that's the same judgment, right? And then what? Then after you default on a judgment in small claims court, is that how it works? I don't know. okay.
Kelli (55:53.0)
She probably defaulted.
Kelli (55:59.433)
I guess, I don't know. know, every state's different, but she probably was ordered to pay it and probably just didn't.
We Wine Whenever (56:00.783)
Yeah.
We Wine Whenever (56:08.156)
So this information actually came out, it happened on November 4th, but it came out on election day. And Monica Garcia said, with everything that's going on in this country, like, I'm not even going to acknowledge this. Like, why is this even news? I just kind of laughed at that.
We Wine Whenever (56:21.924)
Wow. Yeah.
Kelli (56:26.172)
because you multiplied your debt by 10 by ignoring it and not doing the right thing. You should have paid for your services. Yep.
We Wine Whenever (56:31.59)
Yeah.
We Wine Whenever (56:35.215)
You done screwed up.
We Wine Whenever (56:35.248)
Yeah, you done screwed up. So now on that after show, they were talking about the situation with Todd. And Lisa said in regards to Todd, like, no fighting. That's like asking Jesus to come down and take me now. That's like saying, Lisa, don't ever have a Diet Coke again. I was like, girl. She actually said that.
Kelli (57:03.122)
Yeah, that's stupid. Why do you want to be on the show to fight?
We Wine Whenever (57:03.406)
Lisa said that. Isn't that stupid? Yeah, well, I guess so. You know what else she also said? She is building a new house.
Kelli (57:19.89)
Maybe we'll see this one.
We Wine Whenever (57:21.516)
It's in Alpine and the house has a spray tan room in the guest house for her spray tans. And she's has a 2000 square foot closet. Do you know how big that is? 2000 square feet. That's like my entire.
Kelli (57:30.76)
That makes sense.
We Wine Whenever (57:39.067)
Hmm. I do.
My house is 2,500 square feet. Mm-hmm. Yeah.
Kelli (57:46.746)
Right. Right.
We Wine Whenever (57:46.904)
Yeah, that's crazy. And she said, they're going to have a pool because it's been very hard for her not having a pool. She grew up having a pool. So it's been very hard for her not having a pool. So, the trauma. Yeah.
Kelli (57:50.738)
That's ridiculous.
Kelli (58:00.413)
Aw, poor baby.
We Wine Whenever (58:10.212)
the trauma.
Kelli (58:11.563)
my goodness, gracious, do you get, how do you put one foot out of the bed in the morning, Lisa?
We Wine Whenever (58:15.864)
No. And on the after show, Brittany said she felt left behind because no one called her from the trip.
We Wine Whenever (58:24.93)
no, Brittany. No, Brittany. Don't do it.
We Wine Whenever (58:25.902)
Yeah. And, and once they told Mary about what Todd said, Mary said, I love Todd now.
Kelli (58:27.652)
Please
We Wine Whenever (58:38.339)
So funny.
Kelli (58:38.472)
We're married. I figured Mary didn't go because, you know, who's leaving, you know, Robert Jr. home alone? Is Robert? Yeah. Yeah.
We Wine Whenever (58:45.006)
Yeah. Yeah.
We Wine Whenever (58:45.135)
Well, that's what she said.
think it was a combination. really do. mean, we know Robert Sr. is not filming and, you know, she doesn't need to go watch these cackling women cackle. I mean, they're fighting over stupid... Right. Right.
Kelli (58:53.384)
Right. Right.
Kelli (58:59.46)
No, because she's got real problems at home with her son.
We Wine Whenever (59:02.424)
Right, not nonsense made up problems. Yeah, no, foolishness.
Kelli (59:04.516)
And these bitches are fighting over made up problems. Yeah. I shouldn't say problems. She has real issues. Issues. Not me. Especially after last season. She was, you know, just did not want to be there. But now we're totally Team Mary this season.
We Wine Whenever (59:07.459)
Right.
Whoever thought, right, whoever thought we'd be Team Mary?
We Wine Whenever (59:17.86)
All right.
We Wine Whenever (59:22.798)
I know.
We Wine Whenever (59:25.328)
So I just have two things. I just have two things, two things. I'm sorry. I have two things. And of course my phone just died very late. I saw a thing where Teresa Giudice, when she was talking about her getting her lips fixed, she was like, I know everybody talks about my lips, but I really liked them. And my husband really likes them. He likes to suck on them. She actually said that.
We Wine Whenever (59:27.001)
okay.
We Wine Whenever (59:33.871)
Do know what time it is?
We Wine Whenever (59:45.679)
Mm-hmm.
We Wine Whenever (59:54.424)
Okay, okay.
We Wine Whenever (59:54.832)
in the interview. I'm like, my God, so disgusting. No, no, I don't want it. No. No.
Kelli (59:58.536)
feel like nobody wants that visual, Teresa. Nobody fucking wants that visual. Your lips are gross and Louie is fucking disgusting. Nobody wants that visual.
We Wine Whenever (01:00:07.876)
But yeah, so I had to like scrub my brain with a brush to get that out. And then they supposedly are filming for Jersey Shore family vacation and they were doing it in the city and they TMZ.
Kelli (01:00:13.79)
Ugh.
We Wine Whenever (01:00:26.125)
Now that was the premiere I just told you about.
Kelli (01:00:28.966)
Yeah, but they're filming it for Jersey Shore, she's right. Yeah.
We Wine Whenever (01:00:31.405)
Yeah, yeah. That was the Devon premiere.
We Wine Whenever (01:00:32.378)
But there were things.
No, this was something else. This was something else. Some Jersey Shore vacation thing that they're filming now. They were filming it in the city at some town, was the name of the restaurant. And the thing was, that Snooki, they were there with Snooki and somebody else. Like there's supposed to be some kind of crossover with Real Housewives New Jersey.
and Jersey Shore.
Kelli (01:01:07.376)
Yeah, Melissa and Joe were somewhere where Snooki was.
We Wine Whenever (01:01:10.681)
But no, that's what I'm saying to you. TMZ reported it wrong. That was the premiere that JWoww went to for her show and they went to Tao before or after the premiere. she, yes, no, the Jersey housewives. was Melissa was there, Joe was there, Danielle Cabral was there. They were all at the premiere for Devon, JWoww's show that was premiering in the city on Friday night. That's what I was trying to tell cousin Gina.
We Wine Whenever (01:01:14.768)
and
We Wine Whenever (01:01:20.944)
okay.
Kelli (01:01:22.136)
Melissa and Joe just happened to be there?
We Wine Whenever (01:01:28.592)
Yeah, Danielle was there.
We Wine Whenever (01:01:34.154)
okay.
We Wine Whenever (01:01:40.131)
when she was sending, she sent us that TMZ report. It was that they are filming for Jersey Shore right now and they are filming the premiere of J-Wow because the whole Jersey Shore family went out to support her for the premiere of her movie. And because it's in New York and the Jersey, so some of the Jersey housewives, Melissa was there, Joe was there, Danielle Cabral was there, Nate was there. There was a couple.
Kelli (01:01:43.324)
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
We Wine Whenever (01:01:44.172)
Okay
We Wine Whenever (01:02:05.602)
Okay.
We Wine Whenever (01:02:07.235)
That's what that was all about, is not a crossover. Because that's, yes, yes.
We Wine Whenever (01:02:08.641)
That's what that was about. Okay.
Kelli (01:02:13.052)
Well, I think they're calling, they were calling it a crossover. Like, I think, I don't think they meant like that one of them was gonna be on the other one's show now.
We Wine Whenever (01:02:22.5)
Will that some of the art? No.
We Wine Whenever (01:02:22.967)
But I don't want them saying that they're filming for Jersey, because they're not filming Jersey yet. you can't, like, don't say that. You know what I'm saying? Like, it's confusing to people. It was, that's what they were filming. They were filming.
Kelli (01:02:28.294)
Right.
Kelli (01:02:34.823)
Right.
We Wine Whenever (01:02:34.864)
Well, some of the articles definitely gave it that spin that they were doing a spin-off, like a crossover filming episode. That's what they, you know, the articles were trying to make it sound like. So that's why I brought it.
We Wine Whenever (01:02:40.16)
Right.
Kelli (01:02:40.208)
Of course.
Kelli (01:02:49.415)
Of course.
We Wine Whenever (01:02:50.905)
I'll be honest with you, if I didn't see J-Wow yesterday and she didn't explain where she was the night before, and then I saw on the Instagram of Danielle and Melissa and Joe that they were all there together, I wouldn't have known that. The only reason I do know it is because she said it. And she said that it's gonna play out on the next season of Jersey Short. They're airing now and they're filming now. And she also said that she got the call
Kelli (01:03:03.581)
Yeah.
We Wine Whenever (01:03:05.231)
Right.
We Wine Whenever (01:03:14.947)
We Wine Whenever (01:03:19.021)
that we're going to see on Jersey Shore from her manager that after she had done the movie that they got someone to buy it, which we now know because I said it's going to be on think Apple TV or whatever it's called and I think Amazon. But you know, that's also going to play out on Jersey Shore. Yeah.
Kelli (01:03:40.114)
That's amazing. Isn't it interesting that J Woww can get a movie bought by Amazon or Apple and J Lo can't? Remember we watched her documentary? Do you think in hindsight now, knowing what we know, do you think it had anything to do with the Diddy outfall, like fallout? Right?
We Wine Whenever (01:03:40.301)
Okay.
We Wine Whenever (01:03:48.449)
Hmm. Yes, yes we did.
We Wine Whenever (01:03:48.73)
There you go.
We Wine Whenever (01:04:00.684)
I, yeah, I do.
We Wine Whenever (01:04:02.946)
most definitely, almost definitely.
Kelli (01:04:05.522)
Because we watched that documentary and I mean, I didn't understand the movie.
We Wine Whenever (01:04:10.26)
Yeah, no, think it definitely has something to do with that. And even J Wow said like she was like, it's hard for somebody in the business to get this done, let alone her. Like she's a reality star, which really isn't any is like the lowest of low, like in in entertainment, like they don't respect reality stars. So the fact that she did this, and like I said, that's why I'm going to watch it, because I'm going to support her. And she's a fighter. She's a doer. She honestly like
Kelli (01:04:18.183)
Right.
We Wine Whenever (01:04:25.157)
Yeah.
Kelli (01:04:27.238)
Right, right.
We Wine Whenever (01:04:27.546)
Bye.
We Wine Whenever (01:04:37.02)
I admire that. admire people who get an idea and then just do it and follow through on it. Don't talk about it. Don't like mull it over. Just do it. You get an idea. You think it's a good idea. You believe in it. You believe in yourself. Just go do it. Like that's what I tell people to do. Go do it. Go make it happen.
We Wine Whenever (01:04:54.212)
Hey, listen, you're sitting on your porch, having wine, and you walk around your neighborhood and you say, you know what? I think we should have a podcast. And then you do it.
We Wine Whenever (01:04:59.176)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
We Wine Whenever (01:05:04.638)
Mm-hmm. That's it. You do it.
We Wine Whenever (01:05:07.192)
Right? You do it.
We Wine Whenever (01:05:10.924)
That's it. You just do it.
We Wine Whenever (01:05:12.292)
You just do it. All right, so try and get the visual out of your mind of Teresa Giudice and her lips and her husband. Yeah. Yeah. Yes, I do. I had to do it. Yeah, corkscrew. Corkscrew. OK. All right.
Kelli (01:05:15.654)
Alright, I gotta go to bed.
We Wine Whenever (01:05:21.217)
You got to repeat it? You got, you had to repeat it. All right. What is it? Quirk screw? Quirk screw. Until next time, thank you for watching and listening to We Why Whenever. Bye.
Kelli (01:05:28.392)
Corkscrew.
Kelli (01:05:36.828)
Bye.
We Wine Whenever (01:05:37.242)
Bye.
