Podcast Summary — Special Forces S4 E8 “Evasion”
Day 7 begins with only six recruits left and the final, brutal stretch looming. Over breakfast, Randall jokes this is the longest he’s ever gone without talking to his kids, while the group marvels that somehow Kody’s “pure ignorance and resilience” might carry him to the end. Andrew wonders aloud if he’d perform better without his wife, Shawn, still on the course. The women—Gia and Brianna—are still fighting hard.
This episode marks the start of the final challenge, designed to strip recruits down to their core and reveal who they truly are.
🔥 The Final Mountain Grind
In 100-degree heat, recruits must climb endlessly while carrying two 30-lb tires, later followed by 90 lbs of chains. No one knows where the finish line is, and they must stay together.
- Brianna struggles the entire climb—crying, gasping for breath, repeatedly saying she can’t do it—yet still finishes through sheer grit.
- Shawn and Gia work together to keep the ropes moving.
- Kody, Andrew, and Randall take the early lead, with Andrew eventually overtaking everyone.
- Back at the truck, Brianna says she “didn’t believe in God until I met him on the mountain.”
🎥 Emotional Breakers: Family Messages
The DS attempt to emotionally destabilize the recruits by showing them videos from loved ones:
- Andrew watches clips of his kids.
- Shawn breaks down hearing from her parents and children.
- Gia sees a heartfelt message from her mom.
- Brianna gets encouragement from her cousin and aunt.
- Kody cries when Robyn appears.
- Randall wants to go home after seeing his video.
- Randall VW’s (voluntary withdrawal), reducing the group to five.
🕵️ Final Phase: Evasion
Two teams must navigate miles of confusing terrain to reach a safe house without being captured.
Team Alpha — Andrew, Randall (before VW), Gia
Team Bravo — Kody, Brianna, Shawn
- Alpha finds the first rendezvous point quickly under Andrew’s leadership.
- Bravo gets lost immediately. Kody wants to split up; Brianna insists they stay together. Kody stops to pee and they lose track of the riverbank.
- Alpha detours 3 miles but still reaches the second RV point… and then gets captured in the open after Randall spots lights too late.
- After Randall VW’s, Bravo continues their struggle… and despite reaching the safe-house area, their indecision slows them down and they too get captured.
Final count: 5 recruits remain.

Wendy (00:01.601)
Welcome to We Wine Whenever, I'm Wendy.
Lori (00:04.199)
And I'm Lori.
Wendy (00:06.638)
We are talking about Special Forces Season 4 Episode Number 8. This one is called The Invasion. We start out, it's Day 7 It's 0625, which is 625 a.m. and there's six recruits that are remaining.
I am surprised that this is going by so quickly. I didn't expect to really love this as much as I do. They make it to another meal, they announced that. Randall's saying that this is the longest he's ever gone without talking to his kids. So you can see Randall's really starting to struggle at this point with missing his.
Lori (00:47.204)
Mm-hmm. Yeah.
Wendy (00:51.362)
then we see the DS's are talking about the recruits and they think that Cody would make it to the end because of his ability to absorb and his, he's impressive, pure ignorance and resilience. was like,
Lori (01:06.556)
Yeah, it was really funny. You know, they were saying he's too erratic. And so they said, you know, would you want him by your side? And I keep I don't can't keep track of the DS is who they are, what their names are. One of them said, Yeah, as a scout in a minefield. So he said that he thought pure ignorance and resilience will get him to the end.
Wendy (01:25.996)
Yes, exactly, exactly.
Wendy (01:34.519)
Yes.
Lori (01:35.804)
So.
Wendy (01:38.154)
Then they were talking about Andrew East. They were saying that they think he would do better if his wife wasn't on the course. They think that her being there is holding him back a little bit, which I can kind of see. You know, I can kind of see that.
Lori (01:46.45)
Yeah.
Lori (01:51.962)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Yeah, and he was saying, like, he doesn't know when to be the lead dog. I think because she's very much the alpha, but not in a bad way. You know, I think they're a great team. I think, you know, they work great as a team, as a couple. But I just think that she just probably takes the lead in a lot of things. And if he felt that she wasn't right, you know, he would say so. That's the...
Wendy (02:05.537)
Right, right.
Wendy (02:17.027)
Yeah.
Lori (02:21.17)
the vibe I get, but I would say most of the time she probably takes the lead. he's, you know, hence him saying he doesn't know when to be the lead dog.
Wendy (02:21.867)
Yes, yes.
Wendy (02:30.282)
Right. And then they're talking about Gia, that she's still there and also Brianna. This is the final challenge where they're going to take them to dark places. They said, the true you will be exposed.
Lori (02:35.654)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
Lori (02:48.734)
Mm-hmm. Yeah, with Gia they said they think that she'll still be there if she can get through the challenge that they're gonna do today.
Wendy (02:58.766)
Mm-hmm.
Wendy (03:02.294)
Randall says, like to play until I can't play anymore. I don't know exactly what he means by that, but.
Lori (03:06.215)
Mm-hmm.
Well, I think because he's a football guy, so everything gets equated back to football. Andrew, I don't know, I felt like I felt bad. Like he said something. I was thinking, geez, you don't give yourself enough credit, He was like, if you're going to be dumb, you better be tough. Say that about yourself. Yeah, you said that. I was just like, no. I just think he is like the cat's meow.
Wendy (03:14.113)
Yeah.
Wendy (03:27.875)
he's sa- I didn't hear him say that!
Lori (03:36.774)
I think he's handsome and think he's super, super, super nice. And I just feel like they have the greatest marriage ever.
Wendy (03:45.165)
Yeah.
They ask all the recruits if anyone wants to turn in their armbands. Nobody does. Brianna says that she's had a tough year and we find out that there's only 12 hours remaining of the final part of the course.
Lori (04:04.69)
Yeah.
Wendy (04:05.928)
So that's, you know, that's not a lot of time. So they're going to take this relentless climb in a hundred degree heat.
Lori (04:13.342)
called the Sickener.
Wendy (04:15.51)
Yes.
Lori (04:16.998)
And did you see how Cody like runs to the car? It's so, so cringy. It's so cringy. They're leaving the yard to go on this challenge. And he's just like.
Wendy (04:22.7)
He's annoying.
Lori (04:30.184)
Dashes off to the car. I've sent that in my I was just like
Wendy (04:33.559)
I know.
Wendy (04:38.062)
I did see though, as they were doing the hike up, he was holding up Gia's pack a little bit.
Lori (04:43.26)
Well, that's what I had written down. says one redeeming factor so far is that he was kind of holding up her back for her.
Wendy (04:48.15)
Mm-hmm. Yeah.
Wendy (04:53.932)
Yep. So as they're climbing up, Brianna is really struggling. She's having a hard time breathing. She's really having a hard time doing it, but she does it. She gets up there and then everyone has to carry, in addition to their 30 pound pack, they each have to carry two 30 pound tires with them. Which, mean, geez Louise, that's 90 pounds. I mean, don't think Sean weighs, I mean, Sean probably weighs a hundred pounds if she even weighs that.
Lori (05:13.777)
Mm-hmm.
Lori (05:17.98)
Yeah, still a lot.
Lori (05:22.887)
Mm-hmm.
Wendy (05:25.634)
But listen, these women did it. They freaking did it. You know, they did it. I give them credit. I give them credit. mean, even Brianna, when she was really struggling, she dug deep and she did it.
Lori (05:30.569)
I know, can you believe that?
Lori (05:42.226)
She did it, yeah. Now you know like when they went through that second part after the tires and they made them put like these big heavy chains around their necks. I felt like Shawn was so, she's so small that it was like almost like she was like off balance because there was so much on the top of her that it was, you know, I felt like she was gonna like teet her over.
Wendy (05:50.802)
yeah.
Wendy (06:03.341)
Mm-hmm.
Wendy (06:08.382)
Those were 90 pounds those chains. 90 pounds on their shoulders. That is crazy.
Lori (06:10.758)
It's crazy.
Lori (06:15.484)
I like when Chicken Fry gets to the end of this part of the challenge. And so she's gone up the hill, she's done the tires, she's done the chain, and she said, I didn't believe in God until I met him on the mountain. So I was thinking, you know what, I bet you she, maybe she was praying. Maybe, you know, maybe that's why she said that. Maybe she was praying the whole way. Please just let me get through this.
Wendy (06:33.014)
Yep. That's what she said.
Wendy (06:43.842)
Yep. So when they first started this whole thing out, Cody and Randall were in first place and Andrew was in third. But then Andrew wound up passing Cody and Randall and Randall was starting to, not that he was complaining, but Cody for whatever reason, he felt the need to tell him to take shorter steps. He's giving him some direction, take shorter steps.
Lori (07:10.438)
Yeah, well, but it was useful information because that really he was right because Randall, you know, was taking these long strides. And unfortunately, don't like Cody to be right, but he was, you know, you really do have to he was right. You got to Billy go to it. You got to do the little the little steps.
Wendy (07:16.365)
Mm-hmm.
Wendy (07:25.292)
Mm-hmm.
Wendy (07:30.86)
Yeah.
So Andrew came in first, then Cody, then Randall, then Gia and Sean, and Rihanna has 150 yards to go. And she's still really struggling, and she's crying, and she can't breathe, but she does it. She does it. Yep.
Lori (07:49.086)
She does it. God bless her. She does it.
Wendy (07:54.744)
So then they all get back to the camp again and Randall immediately says like, isn't, we're not done. This is not it, we're not done. This is not it, like we're not done. There's more, there's more to come. So their DSs are talking again and they're talking about Brianna, she's barely hanging on. She is physically and mentally strong of all the women. They think that she's the strongest. But the DS they want,
Lori (08:01.734)
Right.
Lori (08:20.914)
Mm-hmm.
Wendy (08:23.842)
They call Andrew first, number 11 first. They want to put him in an emotional state. So they have the video there if he wants to watch it of his kids. And I honestly, wasn't sure if they were gonna watch it. I really wasn't sure. What were your thoughts on that?
Lori (08:43.48)
no, I figured everybody would watch it. know, just real quick, if we go back to the tent before they call in Andrew, know, Chicken Fry is having a conversation with the people in the tent. And I don't know, you like you wonder like sometimes how it's produced, what they cut out and fill in, but she's having this conversation, you know, basically kind of, kind of.
Wendy (08:46.285)
You did?
Wendy (09:03.96)
Mm-hmm.
Lori (09:10.782)
putting herself down a little bit. And it was just weird how like no one said, like, it doesn't matter how long you make it. Like, you're awesome, you're good, no matter how far you get, you know? Cause the DS was, no, I mean some, like a little bit, but no one just out and out said, hey, look, dude, you made it this far already. You're a fucking rock star no matter what. Like, I don't know. But again,
Wendy (09:24.714)
Nobody was building her up.
Lori (09:40.734)
who knows what the producers cut. just because of her situation, it would be nice if somebody would have said, you're just enough just how you are. You're more than enough just being you. All right, sorry, you go ahead, sorry.
Wendy (09:42.934)
Right, right, right. Yeah.
Wendy (09:55.885)
Yeah.
Wendy (10:00.48)
No, that's all right. That's all right. you know, they call Andrew first to watch the video and they're watching everybody. You know, they eventually call all of them. They're watching everybody watch the video and they're trying to decide like either this video is going to motivate them and really help them or this video is going to break them.
Lori (10:19.08)
Mm-hmm.
Wendy (10:24.054)
Sean watches the video, it's her parents and also her kids and she's crying. They think that the video might break Sean, the DS's. I don't know if Gia's video was as short as we saw it was from her mom.
Lori (10:39.644)
I have a lot to say about that. Let me know when you get to that.
Wendy (10:43.35)
Well, I'm there now. Like, I don't think her mother... I don't think that... I don't know. Was it her mom's video that short? I don't know.
Lori (10:45.071)
Okay.
Lori (10:51.571)
here's what I have to say about that.
And well first of all I want to say this, you know the whole thing with them showing the video and you know now they're trying to move it into more of the mental aspect of it and they want to see if their emotions get tipped over the edge but I don't know that that's like a necessarily fair thing because I feel like it's easier for men.
Wendy (11:09.283)
Mm-hmm.
Lori (11:23.89)
to not lose their shit because they don't take on the emotional load that females do. So I don't see it, I don't see you kind of breaking down when you see your children, when you've been gone from them or whatever. I don't see that as like a weakness. Like.
Lori (11:47.396)
If I don't lose my shit every now and then, everybody in my house is in big trouble. Because I feel like it's, yeah, but I think it's important to lose your shit. You know what I mean? And women take on so much more emotionally than I don't know. I just felt like that was just a little, I don't know. Something just struck me about that as they're a little unfair. Okay, now I'm gonna get to Teresa.
Wendy (11:53.582)
I don't think yeah
Wendy (12:14.018)
Okay.
Lori (12:15.196)
Okay, I thought this was such a narcissistic conversation from her. Tells her, I've been crying every day. Okay, if you are, why would you ever say that to your kid when you know what kind of situation they're in? It was very love-bomby, turning it on about herself. Be the woman I raised you to be.
And I don't think I would have gone like full glam. I knew what my kid was going through and the condition she was in. I mean, I would have looked nice, but I wouldn't have done this like full glam. I don't, the whole conversation turned me off immensely, immensely. And this look on Gia's face, I really hope that she is getting.
I think she'll always be close to her mother and they'll have a great relationship. But I hope that she is growing up enough to kind of really see some of this kind of troubling behavior that I think her mother exhibits.
Wendy (13:27.062)
Okay, that's an interesting take. I can't say I disagree with you about the way Teresa came across because she did definitely make it about herself. thought, no, no, no, absolutely not. No. I don't think it's a sign of weakness to show emotion when you see your children or you see a loved one that you miss and you haven't seen them in a long time. I don't think that that's, I think it's,
Lori (13:38.236)
Yeah, it wasn't just my impression, right? yeah.
Wendy (13:56.566)
like the DS has said, whether or not that like reminds you and fuels you or breaks you down, or breaks you down, right? So, but again, and I think it's different too, because for example, Brianna was watching a video from her cousin and her aunt. So I don't know how close she is to her cousin and her aunt. You know, it's not like it was even her mother or her sister. Do you know what I'm saying? It was...
Lori (14:01.67)
Right, motivates you or makes you go, right, right, right, right.
Lori (14:20.274)
Right.
Lori (14:25.327)
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Wendy (14:26.698)
It was not the same. you know, Cody's watching the message from Robin and obviously he's crying.
Lori (14:34.334)
lord that thing. good god. So she plays him like a violin. my god. handsome. I'm sure you're impressing everybody. I'm sure you're charming everyone and making friends. I was just like my god. I think he's crying.
Wendy (14:37.302)
Yeah. Yeah.
Lori (15:03.462)
I because I do think that that's true emotion from him, but I think that it's because he's found someone that feeds him exactly what he wants to hear. Exactly.
Lori (15:21.628)
That was my impression.
Wendy (15:22.062)
I mean, that's very possible. I that's the only wife that he has left. She came into, I mean, I didn't watch it. You know, I watch it here and there. But she came into the marriage as the fourth wife, but she wanted sister wives. She wanted to have sister wives. She did not want to just be married to one man. She wanted the sister wives. And then after she came in, it all fell apart. They all left.
Lori (15:30.119)
Yeah, I don't know anything about it.
Lori (15:49.991)
Mm-hmm.
Wendy (15:50.518)
and he feels guilty because she wanted the sister wives and he wasn't able to sustain that. Right.
Lori (15:57.294)
and they all ran. Right. Well.
Wendy (16:02.86)
I mean, yeah.
Lori (16:03.282)
Probably because by this time they figured out he's an ass and they're like, okay, good. This is a great out. You can have them. Bye.
Wendy (16:08.291)
Yes.
Right. So then Randall's the last one to see his video. And after he sees his video, he says he wants to go home. I mean, he had said it kind of earlier. He said it a little bit earlier that, you know, he misses him. So now it's day eight. It's 1812 hours, which is 612 PM and there's six recruits remaining. And now they're going to break them into two teams. Team Alpha is Andrew, Randall and Gia.
Lori (16:21.597)
Mm-hmm.
Wendy (16:41.336)
Team Bravo is Cody, Brianna, and Sean. they, yep.
Lori (16:45.616)
Now, who did you think was gonna do really well? And did any team surprise you in any way?
Wendy (16:56.478)
I thought Andrew, Randall, and Gia would do really well.
Lori (17:01.05)
I thought they would do super well. So it was surprising.
Wendy (17:07.188)
Yeah. So their mission on this is they have to reach the safe house without getting captured. They have to navigate three miles of terrain where they get to two rendezvous points where they'll pick up instructions for their final safe house location. Okay, that's a lot. That's a lot.
Lori (17:27.428)
Now, that's a lot, but how about this? This was classic. They're sitting down, the DS is sitting down with Team Alpha, and he says, who here has done land navigation before? Okay, so land navigation means that you've studied maps, you've done hiking, use the compass, okay. Twiddly dumb, Cody is like,
Wendy (17:38.115)
Mm-hmm.
Lori (17:56.274)
Well, I've used a compass, but I've never known how to navigate with one. Isn't that what you do when you use a compass? It's like, my God.
Wendy (18:04.396)
Right. Right. Right.
Yep. I know. I know.
Wendy (18:15.374)
So the first team to go is going to be Cody's team. And they have to go and get their first instruction. They have to go to the store, their rendezvous point, and get their first instruction. Cody wants to split up. And Brianna says, no, we need to stay together. They're looking for a telecom store.
Lori (18:35.068)
Well, yeah, that's why in the car on the way to the challenge, Chicken Fry turns to Cody and says, don't freak out. You're the strength. We're the brains. Got it? And I was like, that is the best, Brianna. That is the best. Because that's exactly it.
Wendy (18:56.141)
Yep.
Yeah, she manages him, actually. Brianna manages Cody. Right? Because everybody else just kind of lets him go, but she actually manages him.
Lori (19:01.196)
Yes, managed to send it. Absolutely.
Lori (19:09.734)
Mm-hmm. Yes.
Wendy (19:14.382)
So then the other team, they're also searching for their rendezvous point. And Andrew says that he's going to take the lead, right? Which he did, he did take the lead. And they get to their first rendezvous point first. But.
After they get to their first rendezvous point, they're really not, they're not really working together as a team. And yeah, I don't know what happened in that time. I don't know what happened in that time, but.
Lori (19:40.934)
No, the focus got lost. The focus got lost.
Lori (19:48.892)
Yeah, I don't know. And I was surprised because I was like you. thought, I thought, these teams like aren't even fair because team Alpha, Gia, Randall and Andrew, they're going to like, they're going to kick ass, you know, take the names. But I don't know. I don't know how it shit the bed.
Wendy (20:00.212)
Yeah. Right. Right.
Wendy (20:08.298)
Yeah, because then Team Bravo, they're lost. They can't find their first RV. They have to...
Wendy (20:18.966)
Then they do finally get there and they have to go one and a half miles along the riverbank, but they can't find the riverbank to get there. And they think it's the riverbank and Cody says, no, it's not the riverbank. And then Cody decides to just stop and pee.
Lori (20:27.678)
Right.
Lori (20:37.495)
my gosh. Disgusting. Disgusting.
Wendy (20:41.398)
I was like, what are you doing?
Lori (20:45.31)
And I want to ask you this, you know, it's easy, it's easy now, because I'm sitting on my couch watching TV, watching the show to think of what you would have done. But wouldn't you think like, as soon as you got to the place, the guy gives you the directions, wouldn't you just take five minutes and be like, OK, like, what's the fucking plan, Stan? Like, you know, are we going to try and get to a higher elevation, maybe climb a tree? We can kind of scope it out.
Are we gonna, like, what are we gonna do? Just a five minute conversation of, yeah, just like, let's make a plan. You know? But it was amazing that no one did that.
Wendy (21:21.966)
How well? Yeah, yeah, yeah. What's the plan?
Wendy (21:27.766)
Yeah, No, they never have actually. I mean, and then Andrew, know, Andrew wants to head back. He thinks that we just backtrack, we'll figure it out. And I'm thinking, and then...
Lori (21:33.265)
now.
Lori (21:43.662)
crazy they just said the enemy is behind you why would you go towards your enemy and then that and another thing they're like do with the flashlights three people three flashlights all you need is one flashlight and you should be keeping it low like incognito people like Brianna chicken fry stopping and asking some lady at her house for directions
Wendy (21:47.825)
Right. Why would you go back? Right.
Wendy (22:09.39)
Oh, I know. No, no, no, no.
Lori (22:09.502)
It's not like low profile. It's not like stealth.
Lori (22:16.818)
it's just crazy. i guess you know they're tired, probably, they're really tired. i'd be a blubbering idiot at this point,
Wendy (22:18.901)
It was crazy.
They are pro-
Yeah, they probably are tired. So Andrew's team winds up getting captured first because, you know, they hear the dogs and the dogs catch them. So they're captured. So they're in trouble. Then team Bravo is still struggling to find their next rendezvous point, which is a mosque. And they have to head west and
I thought that they were doing really well, even though Cody was like trying to take them in a different direction. I think it was Brianna that said, no one's going to put a mosque in the middle of the woods in the middle of nowhere. Like that doesn't even make sense. And I was like, good, right?
Lori (23:04.816)
Right. Right, yep. There you go. Yep.
Wendy (23:16.084)
It was just, it was honestly, it was chaotic. Like it was chaotic to watch them. Before team alpha got captured, Randall spotted it. Like he saw that there were people out there. Like that would have been their opportunity to get the heck out of there and try and hide, right?
Lori (23:35.464)
Right, turn your flashlights off, get out of the village, move away from where they are. But they were just like, ooh, flashlights all clanging all around and, ay-ay.
Wendy (23:38.306)
Right.
Wendy (23:44.045)
Yes. Right. Yep. Right. And at this point, they tell us that this is after a three mile detour. They've gone three miles out of the way.
Lori (23:56.508)
Yeah, crazy. Three miles. I just can't believe none of them on that team said, Andrew, that's where the enemy is. Let's rethink the plan.
Wendy (24:09.44)
Right. Yeah. So they did not. And even after, so both teams wound up getting captured, right? They both get captured. DS Billy says he actually has been captured and it's the scariest thing that's ever happened. And I'm sure it is too. And I like that he is there to speak on that because, know,
Lori (24:12.569)
Nobody said anything,
Lori (24:24.485)
Mm-hmm.
Lori (24:29.031)
I'm sure it is.
Wendy (24:37.198)
This is why he's training them. He knows what this is like. He's been doing this. Like this is nothing what's going on with them. And then...
Lori (24:45.306)
Right. And I'm sure that it really was, I mean, I'm sure that's how the show was written too, that both parties could capture and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. But it really is a fun show to watch. I just recommended it to somebody the other day and I said, you know, I really like it for the positive side of it. I think it really has a lot of insightful.
Wendy (24:55.424)
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Lori (25:11.578)
psychological, emotional things that it doesn't make me really care how produced it probably is. Because of those aspects about it, makes me enjoy it.
Wendy (25:20.694)
Right.
Wendy (25:25.678)
Yeah, no, I agree. then Randall, once he does get captured, he voluntarily withdraws. So he taps out. Now it is day eight. It's 2340 hours, which is 1140 PM and five recruits remain. So they started this at what time? said six o'clock, right? 1812. And now it's 1130.
Lori (25:49.106)
six, right? And now it's 11.30.
Wendy (25:54.646)
So that's how long.
Lori (25:56.316)
That's a full day, of getting your ass whooped.
Wendy (25:58.506)
And this is right. Right.
Lori (26:03.012)
Now again with randall you know you say to yourself well somebody had to leave so was it you know i don't know there's there's times when people tap out i'm like you're really done like we can see that you are done but then there's times when people leave and i'm like
Wendy (26:03.224)
That's a lot.
Lori (26:26.928)
It's TV.
Wendy (26:28.96)
It is TV. mean, Team Bravo does finally make it to the mosque. They didn't get inside. And because they're standing outside trying to figure out what to do, they also get captured. But the next...
Lori (26:39.74)
Get captured. Yeah. Well, there's all these bright lights outside it, you know. It's great you found it, but just hang out, scout it out.
Wendy (26:45.921)
I know.
Wendy (26:50.444)
Right. Figure out how to get in, get what you need.
Lori (26:52.618)
There's like no covertness at all.
Wendy (26:56.302)
No, no, there really wasn't. So the next episode is the season finale. So I guess we're gonna see what happens.
Lori (27:04.838)
Looks like torture.
Wendy (27:07.566)
It does look like a little bit of torture.
Lori (27:08.136)
Sort of looks like they're gonna do torture.
Lori (27:13.402)
I was like, ooh, they don't like it. Me no like it. Like that. So, might be a little bit of a hard watch for me. don't know. There's something about that that just...
Wendy (27:26.254)
don't know if it's really going to be torture though. think it's really, I mean, I don't think, yeah. I mean, I think they'll be fine. mean, you know, they may have.
Lori (27:27.934)
Mom, do you listen? It's a produced TV show. I've already said I think they fake a lot of shit, but I don't know. I just don't like watching that even if it's fake. I don't know. My problem. I'm playing safe. Yeah.
Wendy (27:41.454)
Okay, well, we'll have to wait and see what happens. We'll have to wait and see. We'll have to wait and see. So I guess we'll just have to wait and see who we have left. I don't know how many recruits are allowed to be at the end. I mean, are they allowed to have, there's five left now. Are they allowed to have five? Are they allowed to have four? Can there only be two that, like, I don't know.
Lori (27:54.526)
you
Lori (28:02.79)
Yeah, I don't know. And they were saying that the DS's were saying that usually at this point in the show they have a real clear idea of who's gonna come out at the end. And they said for this show they really didn't. So yeah, so I thought that was interesting. okay.
Wendy (28:24.755)
that's interesting.
Wendy (28:30.654)
Have you listened to any more podcasts about this?
Lori (28:32.926)
No, no I have not I did not this week I like
Wendy (28:41.208)
Hold on, you're hitting the microphone. I couldn't hear what you said.
Lori (28:44.542)
sorry. I like the...
Lori (28:49.712)
a couple things, which is a podcast with Andrew and Sean. So I'll probably, I'll probably watch some of that. I like to watch it on YouTube. Because I like them.
Wendy (28:54.766)
yeah, yeah.
Wendy (29:00.01)
Okay, yeah, because last time I had heard them talking and it led me to believe, maybe not. You know, they didn't want to give away anything, obviously, but I kind of got the impression that Andrew and Sean leave at different times.
Lori (29:10.696)
Mm-hmm.
Lori (29:18.076)
Wendy (29:20.086)
I don't know if that's true or not though. I mean, there's only one episode left and they're both still there.
Lori (29:25.79)
Yeah, there's only one, how do you do that? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I was kind of confused about that when I, when I was thinking, well, there's only one episode left and there's all these people left. I don't know. Unless they just all domino out until the end of the episode. I don't know. I guess.
Wendy (29:46.572)
I don't know, but you know what though? It is day eight and it's 10 days the show, right? So we must get two days per episode. So I guess we're gonna find out.
Lori (29:52.551)
Right.
Lori (29:57.95)
okay, okay, okay. That makes sense. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Wendy (30:01.516)
Right? Right? We're gonna get two days per episode. you know, maybe the beginning of the episode, we lose a couple and then...
Lori (30:09.774)
Right. Because that's one day and then there's another day. Yeah.
Wendy (30:12.312)
Then we see what happens.
Yeah.
Lori (30:17.758)
All right.
Wendy (30:17.91)
Alright, so I guess until next time, thank you for watching and listening. Please subscribe and give us five star reviews. Bye.
Lori (30:25.148)
Bye.
