RHOC S20 E8 Sangria Sangria
RHOC Season 20, Episode 8, “Sangria Sangria,” kicks off with the women recovering from Vegas and dealing with the fallout from their trip. Vicki, Emily, and Tamra head to We Vitalize for IV treatments while Emily vents about Shane’s new role as a stay-at-home dad. Meanwhile, Heather meets Carmella at the Oppenheim Group to help find a rental for Max in San Diego, but their conversation quickly turns to Heather’s growing frustration with Emily. Heather feels Emily has been assassinating her character, while Emily claims Heather has made disparaging comments about Carmella behind her back. Shannon and Jenn take their dogs to training, with Shannon revealing that Troy has destroyed more than $12,000 worth of shoes. The Heather drama continues as Tamra and Emily accuse her of controlling conversations and dominating group situations, while Heather insists that Emily does many of the same things she criticizes her for doing.
Vicki then visits Shannon and helps her tackle her finances, going through a budget worksheet as Shannon admits she has accumulated debt and closed her business. The lighter moments arrive when the women head to Carmella’s house for a pool day, although the mood gets complicated when Danny arrives. Gina admits she feels uncomfortable around him because of his past infidelity, and Emily wastes no time asking him when he cheated on Carmella. Carmella insists that their relationship is in a good place and says Danny stepped up with the kids while she was away. The women also question Vicki’s claims that she and Carmella are basically the same person, especially after Vicki’s behavior toward Carmella in Vegas. Heather attempts to introduce her own version of sangria, much to everyone’s confusion, while the conversation eventually circles back to Vegas and the unresolved issues surrounding Heather’s behavior.
By the end of the episode, the Heather controversy reaches another level as Emily and Tamra confront her about being aggressive and controlling in Vegas. Tamra even reenacts Heather pointing and yelling at Vicki, while Heather fires back that Emily and Tamra have been aggressive toward her repeatedly. Tamra brings up Heather comparing her outbursts to her father, prompting Heather to firmly shut down the conversation. Meanwhile, Carmella seeks reassurance from Vicki about their relationship after returning from Vegas feeling heavy-hearted, and Vicki insists she never mom-shamed her. The episode closes with conversations about trust and infidelity, as Shannon shares a disturbing story about discovering that David was still in contact with his mistress. Carmella admits she may have damaged her relationship with herself the most, while Emily’s takeaway from the entire day is considerably simpler: she needs to go home and have sex with Shane.

Kelli (00:00.856)
Hi, welcome to We Wine Whenever, I'm Kelly.
Lori (00:03.35)
And I'm Laurie.
Kelli (00:04.91)
Tonight we're talking about Real Housewives of Orange County, season twenty, episode eight, sangria, sangria.
Kelli (00:16.162)
There. before we get into it, if you don't mind, please go to our YouTube and subscribe, our socials and follow, and give us a five-star review if you wish.
Lori (00:16.206)
Too much. It's too much.
Lori (00:27.734)
There you go.
Kelli (00:29.653)
so the episode starts out with Vicky, Emily, and Tamara at We Vitalize for IVs. They're getting a hydration energy immunity boost.
Lori (00:37.016)
Yeah.
Yep, called a Myers cocktail, which isn't specific to that particular location. It's called that kind of no matter where you get it. So vitamin C, B complex, magnesium, and calcium. And it's 200 bucks. Usually runs you. Yeah. And for all our local people in Oce County, New Jersey, may I recommend.
Kelli (00:58.66)
Nice.
Lori (01:08.494)
Prime IV Hydration and Wellness Route thirty five wall. So if you would like to partake Yes. Yes, if you would like to partake, that's where I recommend.
Kelli (01:13.176)
So Ocean or Mammoth County, really, 'cause that's Motmouth County.
Mm-hmm. All right. So Emily says as soon as she got home, Shane was like, All right, I've been with the kids for four days, so here you go. I'm out. Which I'm not gonna lie, my husband would have done the same exact thing. Like, I don't know why she acts like I I don't know. I think that Emily's really feeling herself lately. Like people are speculating that something's going on in their marriage. I really hope not. I really like Shane and listen.
Lori (01:29.054)
Don't blame at all. Absolutely.
Yeah, yeah.
Lori (01:47.82)
Well, I saw some social media posts that are like, Well, if they were really having so much of a problem, you would think that when you listen to their podcast that they do together, you would kinda have a little inkling and everybody says they all seem that they seem very happy on their podcast. Yeah.
Kelli (02:04.676)
totally fine on their podcast. I do listen to their podcast. I just listen to the one about Lindsay Clancy.
Lori (02:10.262)
So you know what I mean? I don't know. So
Kelli (02:13.282)
I think they're fine. I do think she's feeling herself a little bit with the new bod. And listen, she's working very hard on it.
Lori (02:17.141)
Mm-hmm.
Kelli (02:24.13)
I hope she doesn't go too far the other way, but as long as she's being healthy and you know, she's making different life choices. So I hope it doesn't affect their marriage because I really like them as a couple. Carmela is at the Oppenheim group and Heather shows up. So the Oppenheim group where she's working is the set of Selling Sunset OC. So Selling Sunset was like a big Netflix show, especially during COVID.
Lori (02:27.384)
Yeah.
Lori (02:31.256)
Yeah, yeah.
Lori (02:53.07)
Mm-hmm.
Kelli (02:53.26)
And then they got a spin off for the O C and I believe that this is their O C office and Carmella is one of their agents. Heather's looking for a rental for her daughter Max because she's going to be attending law school in San Diego.
Lori (03:07.276)
And I love how they do the flashback to the scene where they're all kinda in the bed talking about her daughter and her needing the rental and there's Vicky sleeping. Did you catch that? Yeah.
Kelli (03:21.206)
yeah. Yeah. Vicki's getting a lot of heat on social media for her behavior on this show and Ultimate Girls. I agree. It's not a good comeback, Vicky. It was not a good comeback. So now we're gonna like go between three conversations basically. Because
Lori (03:28.395)
And
It is well warranted.
Lori (03:36.065)
No. It's bad news.
Kelli (03:46.233)
Heather is with Carmella at the Oppenheim group. And Heather says that Emily was giving character assassination vibes towards her and says, honestly, it just hurts the group. It doesn't really hurt the group, Heather. It really only hurts you, but that's okay. and then we see Shannon is with her dog Troy and dressed as in like a shamrock tracksuit. I'm assuming it was March.
Lori (04:01.114)
Yeah.
Kelli (04:14.382)
and they're at the Canine Training Academy, and Jen is there with Rita, her chunky doggy. So
Lori (04:21.484)
Yeah, and it's just such a weird thing 'cause there's there's Jen who doesn't have a like a shred of fat on her and her like pudgy dog, like, what are you doing? Get your dog on s on the yoga.
Kelli (04:30.572)
Yeah. Yeah.
Yeah, something. Shannon says that Troy has eaten over twelve thousand dollars in shoes, so he needs some training. I'd say Troy needs a new place to live, but I'm not an animal person. So I'm sure you animal lovers out there will put up with a lot more than I would.
Lori (04:46.946)
Yeah. And and but this and this is
Right. But this is the thing. Your dog has a pension for shoes. After the first pair, you don't leave them out. So what are you doing? So what are you doing?
Kelli (04:58.508)
Yeah, exactly. Put them somewhere.
Kelli (05:03.608)
So we have Jen and Shannon together. We have Tamara, Emily, and Vicky together. We have Heather and Carmella together. So now we're back with Tamara, Emily and Vicki. And Tamara says that they were walking through the casino and Heather was walking like she was the head of the group. Now, this is all you need to say to Vicky to jack her up. Tamara and Emily were saying that if they yelled in Heather's face like Vicky.
They would have been called aggressive. So this is going to be a theme now, I'm assuming this season. It's going to be the Tamara song via Emily, because Emily's doing Tamara's dirty work again. to take down Heather. It's not gonna work because you guys are you're you're first of all, I don't like the whole take down mentality anyway. And it's not gonna work because you're you you can't say Heather was being aggressive.
She was telling Vicky to stop mom shaming Carmella.
Lori (06:05.252)
yeah, it was yeah. Stop yeah, stop it.
Kelli (06:06.796)
She wasn't having some chaotic outbursts that Tamra has when you, you know, when you call when you call Tamara out for being wrong or lying and she knows she's guilty, she has these chaotic outbursts. Yes, that's aggressive. Heather she might have been a little aggressive. Okay, but it was warranted because of what Vicky was doing. This whole thing is messy.
Lori (06:11.842)
Right.
Lori (06:25.058)
But warranted, absolutely. Absolutely. And you know what? This whole thing and the whole thing listen, fancy pants has been fancy pants from the beginning. And all you is want to be front and center. That's why you're on the kind of show that you're on. So I don't know what kind of wool you're trying to pull over your own eyes, but I don't get it.
Kelli (06:42.339)
Right.
Kelli (06:48.992)
If they really wanted to take Heather down, what they have to do is say what's going what's really going on in Heather's life. Because Heather doesn't show her real life. She's just like Giselle. I mean, there's a million of them out there that aren't showing their real lives. Heather DeBrot is definitely not showing us what's really going on in her life. She's talking about her real estate. She's talking about her kids' real estate. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
Lori (07:17.006)
Mm-hmm.
Kelli (07:17.3)
how much her parties cost. She's not showing us anything. Call her out on that. Tell you tell us Emily, Tamara, Gene, you guys know what's really going on in Heather's life. Say it. Say it and then she can't deny it. If you really want to take her down, because this isn't it. This takedown is not it.
Lori (07:33.836)
No, who no, who wants to walk in front? Who is in the center? Come on, really? That's what you got? That's what you got?
Kelli (07:38.445)
Right. She has a superiority complex. W we did not just meet Heather DeBro. We know exactly who she is. Yep. Totally. So, Heather now we're back with Heather and Carmella. Heather asks Carmella if she feels like she let Vicky off easy. And Carmela says she feels like her apology was more for herself than it was for Carmella. And she you know, Vicky realized she looked like a fool. And
Lori (07:45.016)
Right, that's what I'm saying. Yeah.
Lori (08:03.284)
Absolutely.
Lori (08:07.17)
Uh-huh.
Kelli (08:08.394)
And Carmela's like, listen, if it's genuine, great. If but but if not, are we gonna see it repeat itself? Yes, you are one hundred percent. Let us answer you on that, Carmela. You one hundred percent are gonna see this again. and then Carmela says Vicky reminds her of Betty White. She Vicky is not gonna like that at all. and she says she you lose your filter as you get older. But that's one hundred percent true.
Lori (08:14.924)
Yes, you are. Yes, you are. Yeah.
Lori (08:36.866)
Mm-hmm.
Kelli (08:37.048)
I mean, we have this conversation all the time. You lose your filter and you don't give any Fs anymore.
Lori (08:43.724)
None. Yeah, not.
Kelli (08:46.836)
now we're back with Jen and Shannon. And Jen says to Shannon, what is with Vicky just saying stuff? And Shannon says, it was a lot. and Jen's like, Carmella was just grateful for the apology. And then Shannon says, Well, Tamra says Heather was anti-Carmella and that she's being hypocritical. Tamara said
Lori (09:09.954)
Your Tamara's talking about other people being hypocritical. You like that?
Kelli (09:12.502)
Yeah. Heather was anti Carmella and she's being hypocritical. But it's one thing to say, I think her giving Jen twenty thousand dollars is weird. And it's another thing to stop Vicky from trash talking Carmella. You know what I'm saying? Like, I think Tamara saying Heather was anti Carmella is because Heather was like, Yeah, it's weird. She wants to hire Jen who has no credentials and just throw her twenty thousand dollars. Yes, Heather can say that, but then also tell Vicky.
Lori (09:26.699)
Absolutely. Yep.
Kelli (09:41.816)
To stop mom shaming her. That to me, that's not being hypocritical.
Lori (09:44.124)
yeah.
Well I'm sure to some degree Heather is kind of hypocritical because we do learn that she did she has talked shit about Carmelo off camera and has called her trashy and everything else. So but that doesn't mean just cause you just you haven't really spent time with a person and you form abately an incorrect opinion about them doesn't negate the fact that what
Kelli (09:55.352)
Yes.
Lori (10:16.161)
Vicky said was really douchey. So one it really doesn't matter. And I you like how Tamara said that Heather's trying to be the savior. Stop.
Kelli (10:26.52)
Yeah. I know. Yeah. So then Emily says that, to Vicki and Tamra that off camera Heather said Carmella was trashy looking and that she didn't fit into the group. And it will be devastating to Carmella if she finds out. Well, she's gonna find out, Emily, 'cause you just said it on T V and she's gonna watch it now.
Lori (10:47.614)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Yeah. Tamara and Emily say that after defending Carmela in the casino, Heather walked away and was talking shit about her. But they didn't say what it was she said.
Kelli (10:59.352)
Right. Right. Right. So it could very well be a lie because Tamra's a big fat liar. okay. So we move on from those three separate conversations. Vicky shows up at Shannon's house and Shannon says she's getting paperwork organized and she makes a comment that she just wants to know what she owes. Did you did you clock that?
Lori (11:20.524)
Yeah, was like yeah, I was like, Girl, you shouldn't be owing any money. And it's amazing because Vicky goes over there and then she rags about the dog and she rags about her lunch. I was like, You just got here, man. Why you bitching about the dog? You bitching about the lunch. Ay.
Kelli (11:33.367)
I know.
Kelli (11:37.091)
Listen, again, I'm not an animal person, so I don't wanna walk into someone's house and be accosted by their dog. I really don't. And I'm allergic. So and I'm allergic to their saliva. So if they walk in the house and start licking me, I'm gonna bust out into hives. And that is very annoying. However, when someone invites you over for lunch, you know Shannon's a healthy person, you know she cooks healthy. Don't complain. Be gracious and say thank you. She's
Lori (11:45.302)
Right. Absolutely. Right.
Lori (12:03.118)
Well just be glad you gave me something to eat. And you know what the problem is? If anybody else would have bitched about the dog, you would have been like, okay. It's cause it's Vicky and she's just a just an asshole anyway. So when you do like two asshole things on top of being an asshole, you're just really an asshole.
Kelli (12:09.572)
Hmm.
Kelli (12:21.518)
Well, if anyone else walked in and complained about the lunch, Vicky would say that they were being ungracious. They weren't being gracious and and that they should just be thankful that they're here for lunch. She's a do as I say, not as I do person, one hundred percent.
Lori (12:28.683)
Right, absolutely. Yeah.
Lori (12:36.167)
Mm-hmm. This was great. Okay. So Vicky says to Shannon.
Lori (12:47.188)
I look at my bank statements three times a day. That's why I can afford three houses. Well, I'm gonna tell you something, Vicki. I could look at my bank statements ten times a day. I've never afforded more than one house, so I don't know what kind of bullshit you're talking about. But I was like, you're nuts. You're nuts.
Kelli (13:01.665)
Exactly.
Rights.
Kelli (13:08.79)
It is bullshit. It is bullshit. Yep. Vicky brings a budget worksheet and they go through Shannon's expenses. twenty thousand dollars a month for family expenses. She's shelling out twenty grand a month to her kids, I guess?
Lori (13:22.572)
Yeah, what are you doing?
Lori (13:27.18)
Yeah, stop it. Aren't they adults?
Kelli (13:29.964)
I mean, they are like co well no, sh Sophia, the oldest, is living in New York on her own. She graduated college. She's she's set. I would imagine I mean, unless Shannon's helping her with rent.
Lori (13:39.828)
No, I re no, I remember her saying that the daughter that lives in New York that she she does something with her rent. I remember. I remember that. Mm-hmm.
Kelli (13:48.61)
She helps with rent. Well, I know a couple of people who do the same thing, so
Lori (13:54.572)
Well, no. But it is a lot of money if you owe money and you really shouldn't be in that that's what I'm saying. Right. And if you can do it, you can do it, but know whether you can or not. Yeah.
Kelli (13:56.716)
Kelli (14:00.205)
Yeah. Don't put yourself into debt to do that. If you can't do it, you can't do it.
Right. Yeah, don't put yourself in debt over it. Vicky says she's worried about, you know, the job ending, basically Real Housewives of O C and child support ending and she loves Shannon but she's not coming to live with her.
Lori (14:22.678)
And she's not giving her any money. I was like, Girl, she didn't ask you for no money.
Kelli (14:26.488)
Right. Jen, Emily, and Gina go shopping together for Carmela because she's having a pool day for some R. Gina says Danny and Carmela aren't gonna last because there's only a small percentage of people to succeed after infidelity. I do kind of agree with her. If they've been on and off for ten years and it's been five years since the infidelity and you're still not over it, I feel like you're not getting over it.
Lori (14:43.662)
This is true. Mm-hmm.
Lori (14:53.472)
Yeah, that's a problem. Yeah. Yeah. And she says that maybe Carmela Carmella feels stuck because he helps her out with the kids.
Kelli (15:08.44)
Yeah. Yeah.
Lori (15:10.316)
And their their gift that they were getting her looked a little chintzy.
Kelli (15:15.532)
What was it?
Lori (15:17.184)
Some room spray or some shit. I was like, What?
Kelli (15:20.64)
Well, I mean it wasn't like a birthday party or anything, so it's like whatever they bring her is gonna be nice, you know?
Lori (15:24.02)
No, I know, but I know, but you're supposed to be like real housewives of OC.
Kelli (15:31.021)
Yeah, well, things have changed since the show started, that's for sure. Emily is saying how irritated she was the last night in Vegas with Heather because she was controlling every conversation and she's perplexed that she gets labeled as aggressive because Heather never gets called out on it. Because Heather does not get aggressive. Not like I I don't even think Emily gets that aggressive, quite honestly.
It's Tamra, and Tamra's not over the fact that Heather told her last season that she needs to curtail that somewhat. So Tamra is holding on to this, bringing it into this season. And again, somehow, I mean, Emily, you are a smart woman. Why are you constantly doing Tamra's dirty work? I don't get it at all.
Lori (16:06.35)
Mm-hmm.
Lori (16:18.126)
Yeah, I don't get it.
Lori (16:22.38)
And how about how they said the no kids rule is too broad?
Kelli (16:27.426)
Right. Listen, every franchise says no kids, no kids, and none of them follow it. I don't think kids should be brought into it at all. Vicky was dead wrong for what she said to Carmella. And Heather was one hundred percent in the right to call her out on it. So this we wasted an entire episode on these women talking about this bullshit. 'Cause that's all it is.
Lori (16:41.87)
Mm-hmm. Totally.
Lori (16:47.116)
Absolutely.
Lori (16:55.928)
Mm-hmm.
Kelli (16:56.27)
We wasted an entire episode. Emily brings up that Jen mentioned that Heather not getting a part she wanted was upsetting her. And she only likes to put the good and positive things out. And when you're friends, you need to share the good, the bad, and the ugly. And the friends she's met with kids with pandas has been tremendously helpful. This is what I'm talking about. You want to call Heather out on something? That's it. That's what you call her out on.
Okay, Heather, you auditioned for a part that you really wanted and you didn't get it. We have to hear this through Emily because Jen told her. You didn't talk about it. That's that's what I'm saying. And I listen, I don't I I don't understand all the hate that Emily gets for sharing her son's diagnosis. you know, I don't because when Tess was in third grade and going through what she went through, it was
Lori (17:31.436)
Right, talk about that.
Lori (17:47.32)
Yeah, I don't get that either.
Kelli (17:54.751)
So out of nowhere, we had no idea what was going on. This panda, I was familiar with it because they thought that maybe that was her diagnosis. It was not. But I relied heavily, and the internet certainly wasn't was what it is today. I relied heavily on other people. You know, Eileen, our next door neighbor, who was an R is an RN. Like she came over, she talked to me about it. My sister was doing tremendous research. Like
Lori (18:19.938)
Right, yeah.
Kelli (18:24.92)
Th this is what you need. So I agree with Emily. Like when you're a mom, especially Heather being a mom of, you know, kids who are part of the LGBQT IA plus. I say it wrong every time and I apologize. There's no disrespect. I just can't remember it. Community, like I feel like I don't know. She's she's playing a part, Heather. She's playing a part. This is a part for her.
Lori (18:41.056)
It's too many l it's too many letters.
Lori (18:48.045)
Mm-hmm.
Kelli (18:51.948)
And it's not really what we want to see. So then Emily and Shane are out on their anniversary dinner and they couldn't go out on their actual anniversary because their son Luke had an issue and didn't want them to go. Emily says that she and Shane have lasted so long because they're both dedicated to their children and keeping their family together. Emily asks Shane if he's unhappy being a stay-at-home dad and misses working, and he says yes. He says, I'm juggling the three kids and
You don't understand. He says, When you come home and go into bed and stare at your phone and I'm putting the kids to bed, it's difficult. And she says that's unfair.
Kelli (19:34.84)
What would your husband do if that was his life?
Lori (19:37.836)
no. Yeah, no. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. No. Yeah. No. It's totally warranted. I think the problem lies is when at least for me with Emily and Shane is that
Kelli (19:39.671)
No.
Lori (19:55.02)
I think that you could still talk about your marriage in such a way that it's informative for the show and other people, but there's just something that seems to be a little disingenuous about the way that they're portraying their marital problems. To me. I don't know what it is. It just doesn't seem it doesn't seem
Kelli (20:19.79)
So
Kelli (20:23.854)
Shane's family's extremely wealthy. Shane's family's extremely wealthy. Shane didn't work when we met him. He was taking the bar exam. He had to take it a couple of times to pass. Listen, there's no shade there. I've worked for lawyers for thirty years. It it happens.
Lori (20:23.916)
It seems a little inauthentic.
Lori (20:36.226)
No, yeah.
Kelli (20:41.886)
I don't Emily is certainly not the breadwinner. Let's put it that way. Yes, Shane's a stay-at-home dad, but Shane was a stay-at-home dad before this because he d it I d I don't believe Shane has to work. I believe Shane probably is a trust fund kid. And again, no shade. That's he's fortunate enough to have that life. And his parents are lovely and they've been on the show. His sister is lovely, she's been on the show. Like he just comes from a nice family who happens to be very wealthy. So
It's not like Emily's out there pounding the pavement to pay the bills. She's not. That's not
Lori (21:14.336)
Right. Yeah. She's out there doing she's out there doing what she wants to do. That's what she's doing. Right. 'Cause she Right, right.
Kelli (21:19.384)
Because she can, because she can. Right. So to me there's a difference.
Lori (21:29.346)
And she definitely should be cutting him a lot more slack. And at least w we get to see at the towards the end of the episode where she does kind of admit that that she needs to be a little more grateful and gracious when it comes to him. So that's good.
Kelli (21:43.993)
Yeah, I mean they and you know, they end the scene where hi with him acknowledging that she has been cooking steak more and they've have b they have been having more sex, so we end the scene with them on a good note. then we see Carmella getting ready for her pool day and they have to drive sixty five miles to Carmela's house.
Lori (22:05.944)
Yeah, it's out there.
Kelli (22:07.234)
Yeah, Carmellis asks her kids to not say anything inappropriate in front of her friends. I thought that was actually funny. And then when the first group shows up, they open the door and there's a Pilates machine in the foyer. That was interesting in the entrance.
Lori (22:25.55)
Yeah, I guess it's so big you might as well just put it there.
Kelli (22:28.612)
That was a big house though. I feel like there was a a better Yeah, and beautiful, by the way. Somebody said she rented it for the show. But hey, listen, she's a realtor. Who cares?
Lori (22:30.21)
It's a huge house. There's gotta be a better spot for it. Yeah, I saw I saw that, yeah.
Yeah, who cares? Whatever she wants to do. It's an it's a beautiful house and had a beautiful view. But there definitely there's gotta be somewhere in that square footage that you could have put that. Yeah. Yeah, I don't know what was going on with that.
Kelli (22:40.75)
absolutely.
Kelli (22:48.522)
I totally agree. It's like was it just delivered or something? Like what what are we doing here? Vicki shows up and Carmel Carmela's introducing her and says, These are the kids I left behind. Yeah, Shannon arrives and then Vicky grabs her ass or something.
Lori (23:00.952)
That was great.
Lori (23:06.606)
Yeah, I don't know what was going on with that. I was just like, y you people need to stop with your shtick. It's just stop it. It's annoying. It's annoying.
Kelli (23:13.26)
Yes. Shtick. Yep. Heather arrives and then we see the view. I mean that view was amazing. It probably she probably did just use the house to film the show, but whatever.
Lori (23:22.818)
Beautiful. Beautiful.
Lori (23:28.834)
Whatever. Who cares? We got those who cares? We got to see it. That's all I care about.
Kelli (23:32.416)
Exactly. Danny comes out and he's introduced to the ladies and then Gina immediately starts talking about him. Not with an earshot, but she's like, Doesn't it feel awkward 'cause we know so much about him? And Emily then says loudly, like, Yeah, like when did you cheat on her?
And then he walks over. So it's Tamra, Emily and and Gina are sitting there. And Emily asks him you know, they introduce themselves and A Emily asks him if he's nervous. Don't you think that was a weird question?
Lori (24:08.13)
Yeah, that was so just say that we o you know, we all know you're a cheating bastard without saying it. What the hell else is he gonna be nervous about? Come on.
Kelli (24:16.394)
Exactly. Right. being on camera. Like, is that what you meant? But they wouldn't have shown that 'cause that's like breaking the fourth wall.
Lori (24:21.643)
No, he's already been on camera.
Kelli (24:31.116)
Vicky is judging everyone for putting ketchup on a hot dog. I put ketchup on a hot dog.
Lori (24:37.39)
I don't give a shit if you put it. I don't care what you do to your hot to I don't care.
Kelli (24:39.138)
Exactly. As a matter of fact, I put ketchup and mustard on a hot dog and if I'm at a barbecue I do the same thing on my burger.
Lori (24:45.774)
Whatever you want. Why does she why do you care?
Kelli (24:46.988)
Whatever you want, people. We don't really care what people in Chicago do, no disrespect to Chicago.
Lori (24:53.784)
Right. You do you, Boo?
Kelli (24:55.362)
Right. then Vicky's saying that she and Carmela are the are the same kind of people. And everybody's like, what? Like that's not what you were saying in Vegas.
Lori (25:04.696)
Yeah, okay.
Lori (25:12.682)
Right. I I love how Carmella in her confessional says that there's something unskilled about Vicky. It's like when a boxer kicks you in the nuts, it's 'cause he doesn't know how to punch. Which I was like, so good, Carmella. So good.
Kelli (25:20.75)
Yes.
Kelli (25:28.108)
Yeah, that was a very good analogy. So Heather is sitting with Carmela and all the other ladies, you know, Vicky, Shannon, Tamra, Gina, Emily, Jen. They were all over on the other side. And Heather announces that she brought everything to make sangria. She brought the components to make sangria. And they're all like, huh?
Lori (25:40.622)
Mm-hmm.
Lori (25:55.04)
It was a little weird. It was weird because she said it.
Kelli (25:57.079)
It was very weird. I have never heard anybody call it that. Nobody calls it that.
Lori (26:02.486)
No, and she said it twice. Like if she just said it once, I'd be like, okay. But then she said it twice and I'm like Okay, did production really like this is all you got? Like you this is what we're this is what you're putting out there? This is what you're putting on the spoon?
Kelli (26:04.587)
Absolutely.
Kelli (26:19.234)
Yeah. Right. And then Car Carmela walks over by the girls and Gina will not let this Danny thing go. She's like, I felt a little weird around him since we know everything. Gina, shut up. Like your husband cheated on you your first season. We never even saw your husband first season. You said it was because his job didn't want him to film, but really it's because he was having a full-on affair and you were getting divorced. Shut up.
Lori (26:46.552)
Mm-hmm.
Kelli (26:50.692)
Kelli (26:55.108)
she tells Carmela she felt weird and Carmela's like, I've said too much to you guys. you guys have to stop asking me questions. But she says things are good with them because he really stepped up with her kids while she was gone, like you said. Emily says she and Shane had sex twice in one day. Is that what she said? Well good for her. I mean that's pretty good giving it up twice in one day.
Lori (27:08.142)
Mm-hmm.
Lori (27:17.036)
Yes.
Lori (27:22.326)
That's pretty good.
Kelli (27:24.152)
and then she does say that she needs to show shame or gratitude in addition to attention. So yes, they need attention, but they also need some gratitude. Tamra tells Danny that Shannon needs to meet a man. They're in the kitchen, and she likes to make out and give blowjobs.
Lori (27:31.118)
Mm-hmm.
Lori (27:44.062)
Now you have to love production because right when she says blowjobs, production cuts away to Heather eating her hot dog. You got you gotta love production. I was like, look at you go. Yes. Cut right to her, jamming that hot dog in her yap, and I was like, that's funny. No, you don't yeah, don't get those subtle things.
Kelli (27:55.94)
I didn't even notice.
Kelli (28:02.619)
that's so funny. I did not even notice that.
See, that's the problem with taking notes. You can't pay attention to what's on the screen.
Tamara says Shannon and Vicki's birthdays are coming up and they need to celebrate. And then Tamara says something stupid, like, I'm gonna go on a trip with you, Shannon, and then I'm gonna go on a trip. Wait, or no, did Vicki say it? I'm gonna go with you, Shannon, and then I'm gonna go with you, Tamara. I don't know. Whatever it was. It was stupid though. Tamara asks Carmella if she had fun in Vegas, and she says, yes, but I don't have the energy you guys have.
Lori (28:14.126)
Yeah, production didn't
Lori (28:32.108)
Yeah. It was stupid, yeah.
Kelli (28:39.584)
And Heather tells Emily that the Trace Amigas were taking a picture and they told her to take one by themselves.
Lori (28:46.22)
Yeah, that was rude. That was rude. That was rude.
Kelli (28:48.43)
They're really trying to oust her.
Vicki is very jacked up about this Heather, you know, being the head bitch in charge. Vicki's very jacked up about it. Vicky should just be happy she's here because the backlash she's getting on social media, I don't think she's coming back next season.
Lori (28:59.438)
Of course. Of course, yeah.
Lori (29:08.16)
for God's sake, I certainly hope not. And it was great 'cause production I loved how when, you know, they were bitching to Heather about, you know, always wanting to be in the middle and production does the big flashback with every time Emily's in the middle. It was great.
Kelli (29:11.449)
Yeah.
Kelli (29:22.936)
Yeah. Yeah. Yes, yes, yes.
Lori (29:27.638)
And Vicky's out and out delusional thinking that the comments that she made to Carmelo were in no way, shape or form mom shaming. I'm like, What? Absolutely delusional.
Kelli (29:39.267)
no, I totally agree.
Yep. Yep. Yeah, so Jen says I think Vegas was a success and Tamara yells and points in Heather's face. Like I guess to reenact what Heather did to Vicky. and Emily's like, Yeah, we need to back up and talk about Vegas.
Lori (29:53.518)
Mm-hmm.
Kelli (30:00.293)
yeah. Emily says Heather always has to be in the middle of the table, which is the stupidest thing I've ever heard of. And like you said, they flash back. and Tamra says, I love you, but sometimes you're a lot. That's fucking rich coming from you, Tamara. I couldn't be in a room with you for five minutes. I mean, that's rich.
Lori (30:09.133)
Yeah.
Lori (30:14.766)
Isn't that correct?
Mm-hmm. I thought it was I thought it was great. I was like, Okay. Okay.
Kelli (30:26.134)
And Emily says a lot of times e everything revolves around Heather. Heather says, I guess I have to watch that and guess what? There are people that love how much I am. Terry DeBr.
Lori (30:39.702)
There you go. Hey, listen, look, they showed her in that showgirl outfit. I think Terry's a very happy man. She looked fabulous in that showgirl outfit. Fabulous.
Kelli (30:40.472)
Heather says in her
Kelli (30:50.136)
Yes. I think Terry is a very happy man. Heather says in her confessional that the things Emily is complaining about are the things Emily does herself. She sits at the middle of the table and she stands in the middle of pictures. Now I stand in the middle of pictures as well, but that's because normally I'm the widest one that's going to be in the picture, so I like to sandwich myself between thinner people.
Lori (31:12.372)
I think she I think Emily likes to go in the middle of the pictures 'cause she's tall.
Kelli (31:15.778)
Well, like you said. yeah, maybe. But like you said, they flash back to Emily doing all of the things that she's accusing Heather of. It's so stupid.
Lori (31:18.537)
She's tall.
Yes.
Kelli (31:29.304)
Carmela says to Vicky that she came home from Vegas and she was heavy hearted and she wants to make sure they're good. And Vicky says, I didn't mom shame her, like you said. which is ridiculous. But Carmela is hopeful that she's genuine in her apology. Right. Emily is approaching Heather about her reaction to Vicki and Tamara. No, her reaction to Vicky. Heather's reaction to Vicki. And Tamara says, it bothered her.
Lori (31:37.422)
Mm-hmm.
Lori (31:41.388)
It's delusion.
Lori (31:46.126)
But she's not.
Kelli (31:59.001)
Because last year Heather told her she had outbursts and it reminded her of her dad. And Heather says, Don't bring my dad into this. And Tamara goes, You put your dad into this aggressively. Making Heather's point all the more. And I listen, I'm not a fancy pants defender. Ever. But I am on her side on this one. so basically
Lori (32:15.822)
Absolutely.
Lori (32:21.088)
Right. Right.
absolutely.
Kelli (32:28.578)
They think Heather was being too aggressive in Vegas. She's being hypocritical. But Heather says that Emily and Tamara have been aggressive over and over. Heather says, if something I do or say bothers you, I want to hear about it. And Emily's like, Yeah, well, that's what we're trying to do. So then Vicky says she has to leave. She has to go somewhere. Did she say a party?
Lori (32:49.444)
she has to go to her birthday her birthday party. I thought she said her birthday party.
Kelli (32:54.724)
Gina's like, that's so rude. I mean, listen, I I do think that you're on a show that you've, you know, touted starting. You have a contract, you should be thankful to be here, Vicky, because you haven't been here in a in a while. Yes, and I don't think you should be leaving for another event.
Lori (33:05.206)
Yeah, you contracted to to do, right?
Lori (33:12.396)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. You should be clocking in.
Lori (33:20.672)
No, not when you came late to begin with. Like if that's the deal, you gotta scoot out early, then like come a little early.
Kelli (33:29.836)
Right. I wish we knew exactly how long she was there, 'cause it did seem she like she was in and out quick, but who knows really. Tamara asks Carmella if she worries about Danny when he's not around, and she's Yeah, of course. Emily says, I don't have the passcode on Shane's phone and I can't read his email. Shannon says when she and David Badour got back together, she was at lunch with him and he went to the bathroom and she picked up his phone and typed in the mistress's phone number. Not her name, her phone number.
Lori (33:36.812)
Right. Who knows?
Kelli (33:59.875)
And a text popped and it it indicated that they were still talking. and then she says
Lori (34:06.39)
And how do you like that? That sh what do you call it's coming back? I think that's rude.
Kelli (34:11.8)
Who? Alexis, yeah. So then she says that Vicky told her that she thought David was still in contact with the mistress and he was. Carmella says she thinks she damaged the relationship with herself the most. And Emily says I need to go home and have sex with Shane.
Kelli (34:32.386)
Yeah, but I agree with you. I don't like the fact that they're bringing I don't know who Alexis is friends with. Alexis is clearly friends with a producer on this show that they keep bringing her back. I can't I mean she does that podcast with Carlos King. Is that his name? I don't know. he's not a producer on this show. I don't know why she keeps getting airtime. Nobody wants to see her. You know
Lori (34:32.535)
Okay.
Lori (34:44.259)
Right.
Lori (34:48.726)
Mm-hmm. yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah.
Lori (34:59.501)
No.
Kelli (35:00.63)
It's it's done. It's over with. Go you're married to John Jansen. Go live your happy life with John Jansen. Let the let the show go. Let the mouse go.
Lori (35:10.348)
Right. I think it's mean to Shannon. I think it's just mean. Just just very mean. And I think production is mean to but you know what? There was just a thing where one of the producers was on and said she is really hell on wheels. So maybe that's part of it. Maybe they're like, You know what? You're just such an a hole that we're just gonna we're just gonna mess with you and bring her back.
Kelli (35:12.374)
I think it's very mean to Shannon. But
Kelli (35:25.507)
I agree.
Kelli (35:29.817)
Yes.
I think you're right. I think that where there's smoke, there's fire. I think we've heard it enough now to know that there's some truth to it.
Lori (35:37.196)
Mm-hmm.
Lori (35:41.056)
Remember the Love Island guy. Remember that whole thing with the Love Island guy with the the host? He said all that stuff about Shannon and then retracted it. Don't you remember that? Love hotel, love hotel, love island love something, yeah. And then that producer was just on and he had did some on he was on somebody's podcast and he was saying gave all these examples about Shannon and how just wretched, wretched she is.
Kelli (35:51.713)
love hotel, love hotel. Yes, yes.
Kelli (36:06.98)
Yeah.
So this is probably why Alexis is coming back again.
Lori (36:13.452)
Mm-hmm. I bet you they're like, mm, how you like me now? That's exactly it. Exactly it. So we'll see what happens next time.
Kelli (36:15.35)
I mean listen, you reap what you sow, Shannon. You reap what you sow.
Yeah. That's it. We'll get to Ultimate Girls Trip some night this week. We're exhausted.
Kelli (36:32.356)
And hopefully we'll see Wendy this week too. But we'll see. We'll see how she's feeling.
Lori (36:38.892)
All right, so thank you for joining us and again please comment, subscribe, do all the things.
Kelli (36:46.446)
Bye.
Lori (36:47.372)
