RHOBH-Cooking in Couture and Crying on the Runway

RHOBH S15 E5 – “Not Feeling the Healing” Podcast Summary

The episode opens in Sedona, Arizona, with the ladies waking up in true Beverly Hills fashion: Jennifer Tilly eating donuts in bed, assistants buzzing around, and plenty of commentary about Sedona’s famous energy vortexes. While some of the women head out on a 1.5-mile hike to experience the vortex, others opt out, choosing shopping, cocktails, and lounging instead.

On the hike, Jennifer brings crystals to recharge, Sutton pushes through the heat, and Kyle and Erika bond while discussing the growing disconnect between Kyle and Dorit. Meanwhile, Dorit vents to Boz and Rachel, insisting Kyle doesn’t fully understand her perspective, while Boz notes that their friendship feels damaged on both sides.

Back at the cottages, chaos unfolds around dinner… or lack thereof. Kathy starts cooking pasta primavera hours before anyone else shows up. The women trickle into the kitchen painfully late, leading to passive-aggressive commentary, long gowns worn while cooking, and mounting tension. Jennifer jokingly declares her contribution complete after opening guacamole, while Sutton pounds chicken and Kyle fires up the grill close to midnight.

The real conflict ignites when Amanda reveals a strange run-in involving Sutton’s former assistant, Avi, who allegedly offered to “spill dirt” on Sutton and suggested Amanda hire him to upset her. Sutton becomes visibly uncomfortable, shutting down the conversation and insisting on moving to the dinner table. Emotions simmer as Sutton explains the loss she feels over Avi and her struggle with unresolved pain.

The next day brings margaritas before noon, shopping sprees with jaw-dropping totals, and snide commentary about cooking on vacation only to end up eating at the airport. At a runway dinner, Sutton remains guarded, emotional, and defensive, eventually breaking down in tears. Jennifer’s blunt confessional comments about Sutton shock Kyle, and the group fractures further before briefly rallying around Sutton, who ends the episode saying she finally feels accepted by the group.

Healing may have been the goal in Sedona, but unresolved hurt, miscommunication, and late dinners prove that the vortex didn’t work miracles.

Wendy (00:01.198)
Hi, welcome to We Wine Whenever, I'm Wendy.

Kelli (00:04.644)
I'm Kelly.

Lori (00:05.483)
And I'm Lori.

Wendy (00:07.586)
We are talking about Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, season 15, episode five. This one's called Not Feeling the Healing. I think that's an okay, an okay title.

Kelli (00:17.712)
I think it's very appropriate because First of all this trip went by like in a blink and I feel like it was all over the place Like I feel like there was like no I mean, I know we'll get there but dinner at midnight like no

Lori (00:18.635)
Yeah, that was pretty good. Yeah.

Wendy (00:24.055)
I do too.

Lori (00:30.7)
Mm-hmm.

Wendy (00:34.762)
It was weird. Yeah. Yeah.

Lori (00:38.791)
No, I would have been down there at the time that they told me to be down there and then I would wait like an hour and then I'd be like, okay, I'm opening the fridge because I'm eating. I'm not dicking around. You people can wait and eat at 12 o'clock. I'm not doing that. I'm too old to do that.

Kelli (00:51.694)
That's right.

Kelli (00:56.826)
That's right. Absolutely. Totally agree.

Lori (01:02.849)
What about you, Wendy?

Wendy (01:03.52)
Yeah. Well, listen, know, food's not that important to me. probably would have had my protein bar, would have got myself a cocktail, and I'd have been fine. I would have been fine. I would have been fine. But you know, listen, I get it. Like, I get why they were upset. We'll get there. We'll get there. I mean, we start out, we're in Sedona, and Jennifer Tilly is in her bed.

Lori (01:07.051)
Yeah, I know food's not important to you. You'd be like, whatever.

Lori (01:14.463)
And you would be like, whatever, do what you want. Do what you want.

Kelli (01:17.146)
Yeah. Yeah.

Lori (01:24.69)
Mm-hmm. Yeah.

Kelli (01:25.828)
Yeah, whatever, yeah.

Wendy (01:32.586)
eating donuts and chips and her assistant's there also. Kyle's making a video of her eat. I mean, it was just, it was funny. It was actually funny. I thought it was funny.

Lori (01:35.533)
She's my girl.

Kelli (01:35.652)
And potato chips.

Lori (01:38.721)
You's my girl. I love it.

Kelli (01:49.838)
It was very funny. I think Jennifer Tilly did something in the off season to lose weight. I don't know what it is and yeah, for sure, she definitely lost some weight, but she looks amazing. So whatever she did, God bless.

Lori (01:56.65)
you did? You think she did something?

Lori (02:03.499)
Yeah, I like her. She's my favorite.

Wendy (02:04.194)
Yeah, I

Kelli (02:05.782)
she's definitely a front runner this season.

Wendy (02:10.466)
Yeah, yeah. I just think it's so interesting, I'll be honest with you, that all these people are bringing assistance with them.

Lori (02:18.849)
Yeah, on the trip it's like really? You need the assistant then? Like I can say alright, you're fortunate enough you have, you your assistant for the rest of your life but you can't go away for three days? Like you gotta, what are you doing? I don't even know.

Kelli (02:18.906)
agree with you.

Wendy (02:33.591)
I know.

Kelli (02:33.968)
Was it even three days? don't, I honestly don't even think it was three days. not only assistant, but you need glam to go where you were going. You went out to dinner one time. Other than that, you went shopping, hiking, and ate at the house. Why do you need glam to do that? Like, listen, I know these people have money that I'll never see and probably don't even know what to do with all of it. And God bless you for it. But it's just like,

Wendy (02:42.798)
I mean, both had, yeah.

Lori (02:51.373)
Yeah.

Kelli (03:04.169)
It just seems very silly to me. Unnecessary.

Wendy (03:09.454)
completely agree. think it's a little over the top. mean, particularly Boze. She had her assistant there and she had two glam people and she was getting her glam done at 10 o'clock at night for dinner at the house. Like, why? What is the point?

Kelli (03:12.366)
Yeah.

Kelli (03:21.026)
Exactly!

Lori (03:21.185)
Right, what are you doing? Right.

Kelli (03:24.228)
And not even like a chef coming for dinner, it was a potluck. I would have had my under eye patches on, my hair in a bun for sure, for sure.

Lori (03:28.609)
Yeah, I know, right? My PJs. Hell yeah. But that's, listen, that's how you do it. That's how you have more fun.

Kelli (03:42.926)
Right. But listen, they're the, they're the, are the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for a reason, so.

Wendy (03:44.099)
Yeah.

Lori (03:48.524)
I guess so.

Wendy (03:49.262)
Well, yeah. We are the Real Housewives of the Jersey Shore. There you go. That's who we are. And proud of it.

Kelli (03:54.468)
BrickTucky.

Lori (03:55.573)
Mm-hmm. There you go. Exactly, Kelly. Exactly.

Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.

Kelli (04:01.616)
That's right. That's right.

Wendy (04:07.726)
Amanda's on a Zoom call for work in bed. Bose is laying in bed and Nico brings her breakfast and she said, I didn't ask for that yet. I was just like, okay.

Lori (04:18.633)
I thought that was a little rude. was like, girl, come on now, stop it. Stop it. Yeah, I was not digging that. was like, no, no.

Kelli (04:20.57)
Me too.

Me too.

Wendy (04:29.528)
Jennifer is talking about the Vortex and could it be a portal to another world? Are there revelations? I was like, what? And then Sutton comes in. Yeah, Sutton starts explaining the Vortex, how it's the center of the energy and we have all throughout the earth these places where the Vortex is, but Sedona is known to have one of these hubs. I looked it up, like this is just like the biggest myth. Like this Vortex thing really is.

Lori (04:39.041)
She's the best.

Kelli (04:58.392)
is it really? It's a big myth?

Wendy (04:59.906)
Well, well the fort's, it's not really a, well it's not a real thing.

Lori (05:01.997)
Well how you gonna prove it? How you gonna prove it?

Kelli (05:04.878)
Yeah, unless you get sucked in. Well, even if you did get sucked in though, nobody's ever gonna hear from you again. You're just gonna go missing and you're not gonna be around to tell anybody. The timing of this episode is good with the ending of Stranger Things just happening.

Wendy (05:09.986)
Right.

Right. Right.

Lori (05:13.005)
I How can you prove it?

Lori (05:18.859)
Yeah, right.

Wendy (05:19.214)
Yeah, it is, it is.

Lori (05:22.253)
And I'm gonna put something out here. I'm kinda thinking Jennifer Tilly had quite some fun with some gummies on this trip because she was just happy as can be, woo hoo hoo, like whatever you wanna do. Oh, is she so funny? You know, we'll get to it, but when the girls are pissed off that they're having dinner on the one way and there's Jennifer Tilly. Oh, look at the patio. I love her.

Kelli (05:45.678)
Yeah. I mean, I think she's just a happy person. And why wouldn't you be like you're set for life financially, unless you did something really major. but I do think that's her personality, but I think you're right. think she partakes.

Lori (05:49.927)
Go- happy go lucky anyway. Yeah, she's fun. Yeah? Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Lori (06:01.501)
And God bless her a couple as if she listen she was just having a good time She didn't care what those knock-a-heads were doing. She's just like whatever you know I like that about her

Wendy (06:02.005)
yeah.

Kelli (06:03.098)
For sure.

Kelli (06:11.054)
Yeah. Me too.

Wendy (06:14.158)
No, I like her. I like her energy. She's fun. I would like to hang out with her. I'll be honest with you. If I got to choose which, if I got to pick two housewives from Beverly Hills to hang out with, that'll be our question. Who would you hang out with? I would hang out with Jennifer Tilly and Kathy Hilton. Those are the two I would want to hang out with. I know you're not a Kathy Hilton fan, but I just, I...

Lori (06:18.365)
most definitely. Her I would hang out with.

Kelli (06:28.058)
That's a great question.

Kelli (06:35.92)
No, I'm definitely coming around on Cathy for sure and I think those are great choices. Definitely Jennifer Tilly. I feel like I want to hang out with Rachel Zoe a little bit too. But Cathy's a great choice just because like I said last week, she likes experiencing things. She likes doing fun things. So she would be a fun person to hang out with.

Lori (06:54.039)
Mm-hmm.

Up until tonight, I would have said, Bose.

Kelli (07:01.252)
Yeah.

Lori (07:02.059)
I didn't like that comment at all with the... But she's is on hormones so she is doing that. Yeah but then fucks you all up. I gotcha. Yeah so mine would probably... Right. Mine would probably be definitely Jennifer Tilly. A number one.

Kelli (07:04.794)
You know, but though she is doing those injections, yeah.

Exactly, exactly. So we'll give her a pass on that.

Wendy (07:20.558)
Okay. Yeah, so we'll see. We'll see if we still say the same. This is only episode five at the end of the season. We'll ask this again and we'll see who we want to hang out with. And actually, if our listeners could let us know, give us in our comments, give us two of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills that you would like to hang out with. Put it in our comments.

Kelli (07:26.244)
Yeah. Stay tuned.

Kelli (07:41.274)
I would imagine a lot of people are not gonna say such.

Wendy (07:44.654)
Well, we'll see. We'll see.

Lori (07:45.713)
No, I don't think so. But she does have a very weird fan base.

Wendy (07:52.408)
She does.

Lori (07:52.961)
But I think that she's the kind of person though that I think that she's just somebody who just lashes out when they feel insecure. And like that's her cover is being nasty. Like that's how she's just learned to operate since her divorce, I think.

Kelli (08:13.114)
I think it all has to do with her divorce, but I still don't like the way she treats her friends.

Lori (08:15.443)
Mm-hmm. no, but I'm just saying, I just think that's her MO. She just... She's probably a very insecure person and just that's her deflection is to just... Snap.

Kelli (08:24.954)
yeah, obviously.

Absolutely. Yeah.

Wendy (08:31.16)
Okay, the other thing I would like to ask our listeners to do while I'm thinking of it, if you guys could go over to YouTube and please subscribe. We are trying to grow our YouTube so that we could monetize this. We don't have enough subscribers yet on YouTube to monetize this. So please just head on over to YouTube, look for We Wine Whenever and hit that little button that says subscribe and you'll get to see us if you're only listening to us. And if you're already subscribed on YouTube, thank you. Please tell your friends.

Okay, I'm sorry I needed to do that. It's very important.

Lori (09:03.457)
Go have your bath, though.

Wendy (09:05.194)
Okay, so the next thing we see is as they're getting ready to leave, so they're not all going. So Sutton is going, she's saying the longer we're waiting the hotter it's gonna get. I mean they're in the desert, it's obviously hot. Amanda lets us know that she has her sunscreen in her Chanel backpack in case she wanted to know where it was at. I know.

Lori (09:26.525)
Kelli (09:27.524)
And then Sutton lets us know that Chanel couture is okay, but a Chanel backpack? Scrunches her nose.

Lori (09:32.249)
Wendy (09:33.154)
Not so good. I love that Erica was wearing Patagonia pants that she went to REI for. I'm here for that. That was the appropriate attire.

Kelli (09:41.809)
Mm-hmm. It sure was. Yep.

Lori (09:42.667)
That's the appropriate attire.

Wendy (09:46.446)
Rachel was not going. said hiking was not an option for her. Like she doesn't have any shoes to hike in. A producer asked her if she would wear tennis shoes and she said if she was playing tennis she would wear. But then she said, but last time I played tennis I was in Louboutin wedges. So who knows if Rachel is wearing tennis shoes? I don't know.

Lori (10:07.467)
Yeah, she can be the real diva that one.

Kelli (10:11.376)
She can, but you know what? It's believable. You know who she is. You know she can back it up. And yeah, like it's not, right, it's not bothersome. Like when Amanda does it, it's like, ugh. It's icky. Gives you the ick.

Lori (10:16.595)
yeah, I'm not bothered by it. Yeah, I'm not bothered by it. Yeah, it's not, it's not, doesn't bother me. No, it doesn't bother me. Yeah, no, it's totally different gig. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Totally different.

Wendy (10:25.674)
yes, yeah, no, it's... And by the way, she does it in her confessional. Amanda does it out in the open. If Amanda just did it her confessional, it probably would not be as annoying.

Kelli (10:31.61)
Mm-hmm.

Lori (10:36.745)
as bad.

Kelli (10:37.742)
Right, right.

Wendy (10:39.758)
So Cathy's staying back at the cottage, because her and Rachel are sharing a cottage. And Rachel lets us know that she was up till 4 AM wandering around and just being Cathy, and that she needs to rest, which is fine. Cathy, you do you.

Kelli (10:56.068)
My mom stays up very late, especially now that she's retired, but she always did. Like even when my parents are married and she ran my father's business, we would all go to sleep. My mother would be up until like two, three o'clock in the morning. Just doing whatever. Yeah. And I want to say Eric and I, cause we grew up the same, both of our fathers were self-employed and our moms ran their businesses. And I'm pretty sure Eric said his mom was the same way.

Wendy (11:03.832)
Mm-hmm.

Lori (11:04.951)
Be up.

Wendy (11:07.756)
Wow. Yeah.

Lori (11:08.823)
Right, that's what you said.

Lori (11:19.221)
The same way I'm sure she was. Yeah, you can't have kids and run a house and run a business and not be up till two, three o'clock in the morning. Thank you very much. It's just not possible. Not possible.

Wendy (11:20.48)
Mm-hmm. Yeah.

Kelli (11:21.168)
Isn't that funny?

Wendy (11:32.268)
Right, because that's when you get everything done when they're in bed.

Kelli (11:34.55)
Exactly, right. We're not taking care of anybody else.

Lori (11:34.687)
Yes, you got to do what you got to do. Yeah.

Wendy (11:38.924)
Right. So Dorit, Boze, and Rachel are also staying back. They're not going. When Dorit comes down, she congratulates Rachel on finally getting her luggage. Her luggage arrives. We find out, I think it was on Watch What Happens Live. Yes, it was. She was only, they were only allowed to take one small bag. So that's why she had her luggage shipped.

Lori (11:55.487)
Mm-hmm. Yep.

Lori (12:00.619)
Right. FedEx. Yep. Yeah. So was a small plane and then there's a weight. Yep.

Kelli (12:02.864)
because they flew private. They took the PJ and it's all weight based. Yes, yes, yes.

Wendy (12:05.697)
Yes.

Wendy (12:09.388)
Yes, yes. So they're going on this hike to get to the vortex and it is one and a half miles in the desert. I mean, honestly, that seems like a lot. It seems like a lot.

Kelli (12:26.638)
I don't know if I could have done it. I mean, I walk a lot, but...

Lori (12:26.753)
Not that much. no, you couldn't do it? I think you could do it. Which activity would you have chosen?

Kelli (12:32.357)
going.

Wendy (12:34.966)
Me shopping.

Kelli (12:36.688)
I would have preferred to do the climb.

Lori (12:36.939)
Dropping a wine.

That's what I would have done. I would have done the vortex. Yeah. Well, it's just been eventually. Eventually you would get there. Eventually. Jennifer did it. She was like...

Kelli (12:42.478)
Yeah, I just don't know what kind of shape I would have been in by the time I got to the top. Yeah.

Wendy (12:51.864)
was like, if Jennifer Dilley did it, I think you could do it. I think you could do it.

Kelli (12:55.95)
I think she was acting at the end. She was like, yeah. I think there's a little bit of acting.

Lori (12:58.219)
Probably, but it was funny. Yeah, I know.

Wendy (13:01.902)
I love that she brought her crystal there to get recharged. then she gave it some water too. She was talking to her crystal.

Lori (13:03.135)
Of course.

Smart idea? Smart idea?

Lori (13:13.333)
My friend puts them outside when it's the full moon.

Kelli (13:13.647)
Yeah.

Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Yeah.

Wendy (13:17.922)
That's what you're supposed to do. I never heard of the vortex, but again, yeah.

Lori (13:19.661)
yeah, I would that make sense. It was a deal. Yeah, absolutely. Yeah.

Kelli (13:25.781)
I guess any energy, right? Energy field, energy, yeah.

Wendy (13:29.272)
Right.

So Kyle and Erica are talking, they're sitting down talking about what happened. Kyle's telling Erica what happened when she went to go over and see Dorit. And at the same time she's doing that, we see Dorit is telling Boz and Rachel what happened when Kyle came over. Boz, I think Boz was saying that, was giving Kyle a break. She was saying that she's trying to connect with you, like she's trying to repair the relationship, but you're really not letting her. And I...

Lori (14:00.331)
Right. I kinda agree with that too. And listen, Kyle's not gonna say, you're right PK's such a douche. It's not gonna happen. So don't be mad that it doesn't happen. Like don't expect that cause you're not gonna get it. So, and that's okay. She doesn't, you know, she can still be your friend and not say he's a dick.

Wendy (14:00.576)
I agree with her with that because...

Kelli (14:13.24)
No, because-

Kelli (14:23.728)
you don't ever want to do that. mean, eventually you get to the point where you're probably going to do that, but they're only separated right now. There's no, there's nothing saying that something could take a total 180 and they could get back together. So here, Kyle would be on camera, like bashing him. I mean, you know, not that I think those two are getting back together, but you never know. And really,

Lori (14:44.471)
saying right.

Kelli (14:51.864)
It's not Kyle's place to do that. She could be supportive. It's not her style. It's not her place. And she could be a supportive friend and not bash him along the way.

Wendy (14:54.636)
It's not her style either.

Sonderstile.

Lori (15:03.617)
Right. Right.

Wendy (15:05.227)
Right. Right. And base.

Lori (15:07.959)
She wants her to pick, she wants her to pick a side. And she wants it to be her. And to her, that's some kind of validation that for some reason she needs.

Kelli (15:10.926)
For sure.

Wendy (15:10.926)
She does.

Kelli (15:17.252)
Right. Right. Right.

Wendy (15:21.622)
And Erica is basically saying, just kind of stay out of it. Like, just try and stay out of it. And listen, I think it's good advice, you know, because she doesn't want to get between Dorit and the Mo and the PK thing. And she tells...

Lori (15:26.221)
Mm-hmm.

Lori (15:30.283)
Yep. Yep.

Kelli (15:37.424)
Well, how about the flashback to Mo saying, I'm seeing text messages of Dorit blocking PK from seeing the kids. He's got no reason to lie.

Lori (15:46.753)
But now, yeah, but this is the thing. You, and I'm not, it's not like I'm doing, this because I'm some big Dureet supporter, but you know how it is. You can look at one page of somebody's text message. They could show you and it could not be the full conversation. And maybe he said something to piss her off and she said something back. Or maybe she totally is using her children as a weapon. Cause when you're pissed, you're pissed and sometimes you don't do the right shit. But

Kelli (16:01.828)
Yeah.

Kelli (16:14.436)
Right. Right.

Lori (16:16.341)
I'm just saying, I don't like you could, you know what mean? You could manipulate that situation a little bit. And I thought it was very odd how Moe really hesitated before he said, and I believe him. It was weird. There was just a weird thing. And I was just like, meh.

Kelli (16:22.479)
Yeah.

Kelli (16:32.836)
Yeah. Yeah.

Kelli (16:37.69)
Yeah. Well, the sit down between Mo and Dorit's gonna be very interesting. If he says that to her.

Lori (16:42.303)
I like how, yes. And I like how Erica said, she's so funny. She was like talking about going to the vortex. She's like, let's do mushrooms. It's the same shit. I like her. It's funny.

Wendy (16:42.317)
Yes.

Kelli (16:57.338)
do feel like she was trying to be like too cool, like this doesn't impress me. Like, listen, that was an experience. That was a pretty cool thing to do. Yeah. And I think sometimes Erica likes to play it off like, you know, whatever. Yeah. Like she's too cool to be impressed by this, but I think that was a pretty impressive thing. You know, it's something that...

Lori (17:04.724)
okay. Yeah, absolutely. I'd love to go there. It's beautiful.

Lori (17:13.451)
Right, she's big world traveler. Yeah, Too cool for school.

Kelli (17:23.18)
If we did it, it might be a once in a lifetime thing. Maybe not for them, but for the rest of us. Yeah.

Lori (17:26.305)
Sure. No. Right.

Wendy (17:28.012)
Right. Right.

So then the ladies are back at the cottages and we see they're starting to get ready for dinner and we see Cathy's in the kitchen making her pasta primavera, which I mean, I'm here for this. I'm here to taste Cathy's pasta primavera and I love that she just goes in there and does it. know, we know that she has many private chefs and...

Lori (17:43.543)
Sounds delicious.

Kelli (17:47.652)
Yeah.

Lori (17:50.943)
Delicious.

Wendy (17:57.952)
She's used to having a still, but she still does what she needs to do, right? She's hungry and there's food there. She's going to start cooking.

Lori (18:04.609)
Yeah, I love it.

Kelli (18:05.142)
And they clearly had a conversation prior and people were assigned to make something and Kathy is adhering to the plan in a timely manner.

Lori (18:10.957)
Mm-hmm.

Wendy (18:14.678)
Right, right, right. I mean, Erica is upset that they are cooking their own dinner. kind of, listen, I kind of am with her. I mean, that's probably because I don't cook dinner. I don't cook on a daily, so I'm not going on vacation and cooking. don't push when I'm not on vacation.

Lori (18:15.597)
Absolutely.

Kelli (18:27.374)
It's vacation, so I'm with her too, because I don't want to cook on vacation.

I don't cook on vacation. don't, I mean, if we're in Brigantine once, know, breakfast once or twice, but if we're away, I don't cook.

Lori (18:44.169)
Well, that's part of your vacation.

Wendy (18:44.652)
Right. Right. We see Bose is talking to Keely before she goes down for dinner and she's saying how she's kind of, you know, not feeling all that great. And it was a long day for her and she is doing that, you know, she's in the process of doing the IVF. So she's doing the hormone shots. And that's a lot. It's a lot. Then we see Amanda asks Kyle for advice and she tells her about

Kelli (18:46.144)
Exactly.

Wendy (19:13.708)
what a friend of hers said who met Avi. First she's like, you know, is this Sutton knows someone and she couldn't really get his name. She's like, yeah.

Lori (19:20.909)
Stop. Stop it. Like, stop it. Stop.

Kelli (19:23.044)
She know his name.

Wendy (19:25.59)
Right. So she says that, you know, the friends, Avi said for Amanda to call me and I'll, you know, I'll give her the real dirt on Sutton. And she's like, you know, should I, should I tell her? And like, she's asking her for advice.

Kelli (19:41.134)
That was a smart move asking if she should. mean, you already said it on camera. So either way, she's going to know you said it on camera. So now we all know that this happened. So you better tell her because if not, the reunion is going to be a little uncomfortable.

Wendy (19:42.762)
I- I do.

Wendy (19:57.036)
Right, exactly. So then the next thing we see is now Cathy's in the kitchen, Erica's in the kitchen, and Rachel's in the kitchen, and it's 9 45. And we find out now that four hours earlier, they discussed that dinner was at 7 45. And the only person in, and it's 9 45, and the only person in the kitchen cooking is Cathy and her pasta primavera at 9 45.

Kelli (20:16.792)
and it's 9.45.

Kelli (20:25.68)
Yeah, like who else was supposed to cook? Sutton was cooking the chicken. Kathy had the pasta primavera. Is that all they were having or was somebody else supposed to cook?

Wendy (20:28.234)
Well, the chicken.

Lori (20:33.631)
No, because there's other things on the table when they sit down, you see.

Kelli (20:37.614)
Yeah, so did we see anybody else cooking? Erica wasn't cooking. She was just standing there, which is fine.

Wendy (20:40.718)
Erica wasn't cooking. Jennifer Tilly made it clear that she wasn't cooking. She opened up her guacamole, but she made it clear even earlier that she wasn't cooking.

Lori (20:41.226)
I didn't see anybody else.

Kelli (20:50.276)
Kyle didn't cook because she said, I can cook, but I'm not doing a damn thing.

Wendy (20:54.892)
Right. I don't know where the food came from, the other food. I don't know where came from.

Lori (20:57.825)
Yeah, it's a mad neck.

Kelli (20:58.478)
Right? But listen, if we were supposed to have dinner at 745 and it was now 945 and the woman who said she was making the chicken, which is the main course by the way Sutton, wasn't down yet, I would have ordered some food. I would have door dashed that.

Lori (21:10.795)
Yes, it is. I'd cook the chicken.

Wendy (21:16.622)
Well, the chicken was there.

Lori (21:18.253)
Yeah, but all you had to do is throw the chicken on the grill. So, all right, so she's not around. Well, screw her, just put on the grill. I'm just saying anybody could have put it on the grill, which obviously they ended up doing. And I don't know. That was stupid, that was stupid. That's stupid.

Kelli (21:20.951)
She said she was making it!

Wendy (21:30.894)
Yeah, but that was at 11 o'clock.

Kelli (21:32.942)
Right. I mean, they didn't eat until midnight. I would have been furious and by then I definitely would have door dashed If you could to this remote location, who knows?

Wendy (21:40.888)
So this is.

Wendy (21:45.614)
So then Dorit comes into the kitchen, it's 10 o'clock, and Kathy says to her, like, where were you? And she's like, oh, I was out on my veranda. I was like, okay, it's 10 o'clock. Amanda walks in, it's 10 20, and she's complaining. Now she thought dinner was at 7 45, and she walks in at 10 20 and complaining that Sutton's not there. You showed up at 10 20!

Lori (22:03.489)
Yeah, why is she showing up at 1020?

Kelli (22:04.26)
What?

Kelli (22:10.574)
Yeah. Yeah.

Lori (22:10.731)
Right? 20. Right. Where were you? And I love, I love how Kathy told her to just worry about herself.

Did you guys catch that? That was great.

Kelli (22:21.54)
Yeah. Yeah.

Wendy (22:23.854)
Yep. So then Kyle walks in the kitchen, it's 1049, and Jennifer walks in right behind her, and Jennifer's like, oh my gosh, it smells so good in here. We're gonna need a cheese plate, like, cause, you know, to stave off the hunger. I was like, perfect, that's a great idea. Like, let's get a cheese plate together. That actually I could do. Now it's almost 11 o'clock. And then Rachel's like, should we check on Sutton and Bo's? It's 11 o'clock, you were supposed to eat at 745.

Kelli (22:50.202)
That's crazy.

Lori (22:51.213)
It's crazy.

Wendy (22:52.526)
I mean, it just kind of blows my mind to be honest with you. like, 11.05, Sutton finally walks in the kitchen. 11.05.

Lori (22:57.229)
Mm-hmm.

Lori (23:03.489)
That's crazy.

Kelli (23:03.502)
and said, her only excuse was, I'm slow.

Wendy (23:07.949)
Yeah.

Kelli (23:09.316)
I could never be friends with this woman. I dislike her so much more after this episode than I did already. And I've had a very high dislike for her.

Wendy (23:11.816)
No, I mean, she does say that.

Wendy (23:17.559)
Yeah.

Wendy (23:22.294)
She says inter-confessional that she just needed some time after the hike. Like, you know, she needed some time to take care of herself. Okay, so then that's fine.

Kelli (23:29.904)
What would be interesting to know is if they were all texting each other and were aware that the other ones weren't coming down yet, I'm gonna be late, I should be okay by this time, like we do when we're getting ready to record a podcast. It would be very interesting to know if they were in communication with each other texting about their whereabouts and what time they were meeting up. Because to say dinner's at 7.45 and to not walk down until 11,

Lori (23:42.603)
Right, right, right.

Kelli (23:58.787)
and you're the host of this trip is wild. Yeah.

Lori (24:01.259)
It's rude. It's rude. It's rude AF.

Wendy (24:09.83)
I just, listen, Jennifer said I took the lid off the guacamole so her work here is done. I'm here with her. Sutton is pounding out the chicken and Kyle's turning on the grill and Rachel and Sutton are both cooking in these long gowns, which again is just insanity. like what are you thinking? Kathy's walking around with a rag stuck on her shoe.

Lori (24:28.653)
What you doing? Yeah.

Kelli (24:29.156)
Yeah. What are we doing?

Kelli (24:38.501)
my god, that was so funny. That was so funny.

Wendy (24:38.764)
with her pasta primavera. This is like, I was like.

Lori (24:43.457)
Mm-hmm. This is great.

Kelli (24:45.41)
I I did at one point think all this was shtick with Cathy, but I'm starting to think it wasn't. Or maybe not all of it. That was really funny with the rag on her shoe. Yeah. Yeah.

Wendy (24:48.76)
It was funny.

Wendy (24:55.862)
No, I don't... I don't... I'm sure, right?

Lori (24:59.841)
That would be me. That would totally be me.

Wendy (25:06.488)
So then in the midst of all this, Amanda says to Sutton, I had something odd happen. I talked to Kyle about it and she urged me to tell you. I was like, God. So you had an assistant named Avi. A good friend of mine was out and ran into him and he said that I should call him that he would give me the dirt on you. She's like, I obviously didn't call him and.

Wendy (25:34.156)
Then Amanda said to hire him as her assistant and that will really piss off Sutton and Sutton's like go ahead hire him. Call him.

Kelli (25:43.898)
Yeah, call them.

Lori (25:45.389)
Right before she was gonna, like you know she's gonna say it to her and I'm thinking, oh shit. Like thinking about Sutton like the snake, like striking like a cobra, you know what I mean? It's like, ooh girl. But come on, that's a whole piece of production. That's a whole bunch of bullshit.

Kelli (25:57.743)
Yeah. Yep.

Kelli (26:03.93)
Well, that's what I'm wondering, because Sutton said, I don't think he said it. Do you think he said it?

Lori (26:07.893)
Yeah, it's a bunch of nonsense. It's a bunch of nonsense. It's a story line. Stop it.

Wendy (26:12.942)
I don't think he said it. I did hear him on Ana's podcast with Ana and Ace. Avi was on. was a while ago. And he didn't give out any information. He didn't give out...

Kelli (26:15.088)
I don't think he did either.

Kelli (26:25.275)
I didn't listen to that one yet.

Kelli (26:32.602)
That's right. I didn't listen to that one, but I remember you saying it or yeah, he didn't say anything.

Wendy (26:38.688)
He didn't say anything. The only thing I got out of that podcast, which really surprised me, is that he's not gay. I thought he was gay.

Kelli (26:49.188)
me too.

Lori (26:50.026)
okay.

Wendy (26:50.7)
He's, no, I'm almost positive he has a wife, but he's not gay.

Kelli (26:56.238)
Well, you know, well, I'm not gonna say it. I'll say it off the podcast. Remind me, remind me. But now that you say that, I think that checks out. But there's a reason, but I'm not saying it.

Wendy (27:00.33)
Okay. Okay.

Wendy (27:07.286)
Okay, yeah, that's fine. Listen, and not that it matters, it really doesn't matter. It was just the only thing that I learned, that's all. I could care less either way. But Jennifer says in her confessional when she heard about Avi leaving, like she thought it was a temporary thing. And she's like, I thought like it was temporary to come back over there in a couple of weeks and he would offer to make me a cocktail. She's like, and that didn't happen. And then she talked to Avi and he also thought it was a temporary thing. she's like, I'm not really sure what happened.

Lori (27:10.954)
No, whatever.

Kelli (27:13.252)
Yeah. Yeah.

Wendy (27:36.148)
So the fact that Jennifer, her very good friend, doesn't know what happened. And I do think that that's true. don't think Jennifer's lying for her. I don't think Jennifer knows what happened.

Kelli (27:45.039)
No, I don't think Jennifer's lying for her either. And I think that it's interesting that Sutton at the end says that, you know, it's hurtful to her when, you know, after her divorce, when she ends a relationship with somebody or something and they betray her. Well, if he thought it was temporary, it doesn't sound like he's the one that initiated the separation and the friendship or the work relationship.

Lori (27:45.535)
No, I don't think so either. No. No.

Lori (28:12.939)
Right, right.

Kelli (28:13.648)
It sounds like she made that choice, so.

Wendy (28:18.594)
Well, she's maintaining though it was a work relationship.

Kelli (28:22.702)
Right, but it sounds like she ended it.

Wendy (28:23.744)
although they were friends, she said that. She said she no longer needed his services. She admitted that she ended it. So.

Kelli (28:31.374)
Yeah, so, well, you know, what are you gonna do?

Lori (28:35.019)
Maybe it could be something as simple as, you know, she keeps talking about this, you know, that she talked to her mother and this cathartic and everything. So maybe she just figured, well, I really need to grow up and do my own shit. Who knows? I don't know. was a stretch, a stretch. Yeah. Yeah.

Kelli (28:51.534)
I don't think that's it at all. I'm sure she's got another assistant lined up right now, yeah.

Wendy (28:58.958)
So then Sutton, you know, they're going back and forth about this. Sutton says, listen, I think we should go sit at the dinner table. And finally, when they go sit down at the dinner table, it is 1210 AM. It's the next day.

Lori (29:09.901)
That's stupid.

Kelli (29:11.29)
can't.

Wendy (29:13.07)
Sutton is then talking to Duree and she tells her that she spoke to her mom and she asked to speak to her mother as a patient, not as a mom. And I thought that was the most interesting thing I'd heard.

Kelli (29:27.792)
I don't think she should have, I think she should have went to another licensed professional personally. Yeah.

Lori (29:31.711)
Absolutely.

Wendy (29:32.11)
100 % especially since we know how Reba is

Lori (29:36.525)
Yeah, that was not a good move.

Kelli (29:39.78)
Yeah.

Wendy (29:40.492)
Right. But she says the thing, the biggest thing she did get for her mom is that she still has anger from her failed marriage, which I mean, I definitely think that's the case. And I really think that you do need to see a therapist and really work through that. And I think that she really, I think that she could be a really good friend. I think that she could be the Sutton Brown that she wants to be instead of the Sutton Strack that she is right now.

Like, I know she changed, in her mind she changed her name and she wants to be this other person, but I think that the failed marriage is still, she's, like her mother said, she's got anger from it.

Kelli (30:19.418)
Yeah, she's definitely got to get past it. I mean, I don't know how old her kids are, but the thing is, that even when your kids grow up, like they still, you still have to be around this person. At some point you have, yeah, you have to get to an amicable space with these, with your exes, you know. My sister has been divorced. I don't even know how long now. Her ex is remarried. She's in a very long-term relationship, but her ex was at,

Lori (30:30.187)
It's still their father.

Kelli (30:48.976)
Christmas this year and it was amazing. It was so nice. My family, because she always hosts my family for Christmas and my family was all really happy to see him. So you know it took some time. It wasn't immediate obviously but I don't know. I just think eventually despite how old your kids get you have to at some point get to an amicable space and she's gonna have to let go of a lot of anger to do that.

Lori (31:13.559)
Mm-hmm.

Wendy (31:14.614)
And it's not even so much that because I mean, it's because it's killing her. know, like she's only hurting herself by holding on to this anger besides the fact that, you know, what her kids are seeing, because her kid, you know, it's not even about the kids. It's about what she's doing to herself, the kids.

Kelli (31:20.271)
Right.

Right.

Lori (31:30.183)
She said she did it to, she was doing it to herself. She totally admitted that. So that was good.

Wendy (31:33.399)
Yeah.

Kelli (31:35.909)
Yeah.

Wendy (31:38.616)
So then the next morning, we see Erica at 11.32 a.m. having her margarita. Good for her. Listen. Yes! Yes.

Kelli (31:47.792)
Good for her. I mean, to me this was like a shit show of a trip, so I'd be drinking at 11, 20 a.m. as well.

Wendy (31:53.262)
Yeah.

Lori (31:54.113)
Mine as well. Yes.

Wendy (31:58.124)
Yeah. Amanda is saying that she thinks that Sutton's mad at her and Erica's like, yeah, of course she is. Like, why wouldn't she be?

Kelli (32:10.106)
See, this is the nonchalant I don't give an F, Erica, that I like. Like, Sutton's gonna be mad at something, so who cares?

Wendy (32:17.868)
Right, right. So she said, well, Jennifer told Amanda that she told Sutton that Amanda complained that she was late the night before. that earlier that morning, Sutton went up to Amanda and said, Missy, I heard you were complaining that I was late. I was like.

Kelli (32:37.584)
That's very condescending, calling someone Missy. And I don't get offended by things easily at all, you know. I've been called many things by bosses, but yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, very condescending.

Wendy (32:39.701)
Missy, missy, yeah.

Lori (32:41.107)
yeah, little girl.

Lori (32:46.24)
It's like.

Yeah, it's like Mary's little girl. It's along the same lines. It's along the same. It's very condescending. Yeah. I mean, don't be pissed. Don't be pissed that somebody's saying shit about you being late when you were supposed to be there at 745 and now it's 10 something. I mean, I know she doesn't have any room to talk because she just got there herself, but maybe she maybe she didn't get divvied up a dish to make.

Kelli (32:56.654)
Yeah.

Wendy (33:12.503)
Right.

Lori (33:16.895)
And maybe like Kelly said, everybody was texting back and forth, nobody's downstairs, but Kathy and blah, blah, blah. And I don't know, who knows? But in the kitchen, Amanda was like super awkward with Erica and Rachel, like trying to get herself into the conversation. And then there was points where the two of them, Erica and Rachel were just kind of like having a conversation, just.

Kelli (33:25.348)
That's it, yeah, yeah, yeah.

Lori (33:45.235)
ignoring her, Amanda. She could be annoying.

Kelli (33:49.339)
Well, she's like the annoying little sister that doesn't shut up. That's the vibe she's giving me. Cause honestly, she's not doing anything to really annoy me yet. So I'm really curious to see how we get to the point where nobody's talking to her. Because quite honestly, after this trip, I wouldn't talk to Sutton anymore. I would have cut her off. But she is like the annoying little sister that doesn't shut up.

Lori (33:51.443)
Mm-hmm. It doesn't shut up,

Lori (34:14.165)
And then the next scene we go to, they're in this car driving and she's on the phone for like an hour yakking about her business stuff. Super, super rude. Super rude.

Wendy (34:25.102)
Yeah, I mean, actually, even before that happened, Rachel said that she slept horrible the night before she only had three hours sleep. And then Amanda's like, oh, well, my sleep score was 61 today. And yesterday it was 69. I'm like, you have to one up bad sleep? Seriously? Like, who one ups that? Like, seriously?

Lori (34:39.255)
Good

Kelli (34:41.368)
Yeah, exactly.

Lori (34:42.087)
Mm-hmm. yeah She had to one up the one up the manifestation You know

Wendy (34:48.302)
It's like, you've got to be kidding me. Yeah.

Kelli (34:50.222)
Yeah. Yeah.

Lori (34:51.957)
Yacking about how you know, she's a moneymaker just stop

Kelli (34:55.952)
She was talking about something and she was like, have a lot, a lot. Was it some kind of shoe or something?

Lori (35:00.429)
a bag. That little bag. Some kind of little pocketbook. She has a lot of those.

Kelli (35:05.196)
Okay. I'm like, all right. Yes, a lot.

Wendy (35:09.07)
Well, the fact that she was on the speakerphone, sitting in between Erica and Rachel, talking business, and none of them said anything to her, I just couldn't believe that because I would have lost it. I would have said something to her.

Lori (35:16.032)
So rude.

Lori (35:23.862)
Right.

Kelli (35:24.688)
Absolutely, I would have given her a look that would have made it very clear that she should hang the phone up immediately and not pick it back up. It would have taken a look. That was extremely, extremely rude.

Lori (35:31.755)
Yeah.

Wendy (35:34.657)
Yeah.

Lori (35:36.525)
extremely rude, extremely rude.

Wendy (35:41.72)
So then the ladies go shopping. I did write down some of their totals. Rachel spent $2,130.72.

And I think that was in the kaleidoscope store. I'm not sure which store that one was in. I don't know where she spent that. Jennifer spent $3,425 even. Dorit spent $1,311.55. And I don't know how much Kyle spent, but I do know her necklace was $2,400 and she had the necklace and the earrings on at dinner.

Kelli (36:18.928)
and the hat or was she already wearing the hat?

Wendy (36:24.278)
I think she had the hat already. the funny thing is when she got on the plane she had this big beautiful turquoise necklace which I've seen her wear before. So it's not like she needed another big beautiful turquoise necklace but she wanted it and she can afford it so good for her. Who am I to judge? Because you know what if I wanted it I'd buy it too.

Lori (36:39.597)
There you go. Yeah.

Kelli (36:39.984)
Absolutely, Exactly.

Wendy (36:46.478)
And they're all hungry and after they're done shopping they go to the airport to eat. I really honestly was taken back by that myself.

Kelli (36:57.69)
honestly thought this is when I thought how long were they even here 24 hours? I thought they were getting on the plane to leave when they did that. Right?

Lori (37:04.939)
Me too. Me too. Yeah. And how about when they were shopping and Amanda goes, they go to the tea place and she asks the chick if she has ceremonially blessed matcha tea. But I looked it up and it's not that it's blessed, but it is like the highest. It's like that she was just

Kelli (37:14.443)
Wendy (37:15.308)
or the matcha.

Lori (37:29.121)
Like she points out her Chanel bag, she was just letting everybody know that she knows like what the highest quality of matcha tea is, which is, yeah, just it was like a tea flex. was a tea flex. I was like, okay. But I looked it up because I was, because you know, when the confessional, Rachel Zoe says, what's like somebody pray over something. But I looked it up and it is the highest grade of matcha tea. Yeah.

Kelli (37:34.704)
Yeah, it's just it's just another weird flex by her. It's another weird flex. Yeah.

Kelli (37:56.666)
Interesting.

Wendy (37:57.826)
Well, and then she asked for half oat milk and half almond milk. the barista's like, we only have almond milk. And Rachel's, what does she say, like, live a little or something?

Lori (38:07.789)
And to right half the oat milk. Like just get your tea and shut the fuck up and let's go. Yeah, let's go.

Kelli (38:08.29)
Yeah, yeah. Be risky and go all almond.

Wendy (38:11.776)
And she's like

Right, and she's like, no, I have to change my whole order.

Lori (38:17.709)
Ugh.

Kelli (38:18.702)
Yeah, she's very extra. She's very, very extra. Unnecessarily. Unnecessarily.

Lori (38:20.779)
Yeah, very extra. Unnecessarily extra. Yes, absolutely.

Wendy (38:27.522)
Yeah, I was surprised about the airport. mean, I know we've been there two mornings because I recall two breakfasts, right? I don't, and I don't know how much longer they're there to be quite honest with you, but I was...

Kelli (38:35.587)
Okay.

Kelli (38:39.652)
Well, next they're back in LA next week.

Lori (38:42.145)
Yeah, so there you go.

Wendy (38:43.948)
Yeah, I just think that was a little odd.

Kelli (38:44.976)
So we basically got one full episode because last week they got there and that was it.

Wendy (38:52.109)
Yeah.

Kelli (38:52.41)
They were not there that long at all.

Lori (38:54.743)
Mm-mm.

Wendy (38:59.502)
Well, this is when at the airport runway restaurant, Sutton opens up a little bit again about, you know, Avi because they bring it up again, of course. And she's like, listen, of course, she's like, I'm not, you know, I don't know what the facts are. I'm not interested in learning the facts. Like, I don't, I don't want to know. And Rach, I don't either.

Lori (39:13.453)
Because Amanda brings it up.

Kelli (39:23.214)
And I don't blame her for that. Because I think she's taking the high road by just not talking about it and not giving it life. So I don't blame her for that.

Lori (39:30.455)
But she also said, she said, I don't want to talk about it. Previously. So, Amanda, what are you doing? Stop poking the bear.

Wendy (39:34.656)
Right. Right.

Kelli (39:34.928)
Mm-hmm. Right.

Wendy (39:39.042)
Right. Right.

Kelli (39:41.144)
Right. Let the mouse go. Like she told Dorit her first season. Let the mouse go.

Lori (39:42.187)
and you wonders, yes. Mm-hmm, mm-hmm, mm-hmm, mm-hmm. Yeah.

Wendy (39:48.856)
But she does finally say like, it's painful for me. And you know, he's one of the many people that I've lost. So again, she's being vulnerable at this point. And I liked that at this point, Erica does say like, you're in a better place right now with everybody here. Like, let's not let this one situation drag you down. And Erica could really see and was kind of, she saw that Amanda was stirring this up.

Lori (40:00.813)
Mm-hmm.

Wendy (40:18.72)
and making it bad for Sutton. And she was seeing that Sutton was gonna spiral and she's trying to help her. That's what I saw from Erica. I saw her really trying to help her. Whereas Sutton wasn't taking advice from Jennifer. She wasn't taking advice from Kyle. But for whatever reason, when it was coming from Erica, I feel like she was at least taking it. Because obviously Jennifer got very upset and she, you know,

Lori (40:18.807)
Mm-hmm.

Kelli (40:20.558)
Yes. Yes.

Wendy (40:47.702)
walked away and Kyle went with her. But listen, I give Erica a lot of credit for trying to, because it's not like Erica and Sutton were ever friends. weren't, you know, they weren't, they weren't friends.

Lori (40:59.19)
No.

Kelli (41:00.76)
No, no, and for a while there they were not good at all when Erica was first going through her divorce and all that.

Wendy (41:05.752)
Right.

Lori (41:08.109)
Alright.

Wendy (41:08.899)
Yeah.

Kelli (41:10.672)
I don't... sorry. ahead.

Lori (41:12.604)
I am... No, go ahead, girl.

Kelli (41:14.562)
I don't understand why, so Jennifer is talking to Kyle and says what I totally agree with, that that's one of the reasons Garcelle left, because one, it's always about Sutton, and Sutton doesn't want to hear good advice from her friends, obviously. But it was weird to me that Kyle is now gonna run back to Sutton and tell her what Jennifer said about her in the previews.

Wendy (41:30.614)
Right. Right.

Kelli (41:43.318)
I know that that's what a lot of the housewives think they have to do, but Kyle doesn't strike me as the housewife that thinks she has to do that. And I don't, I don't know. I just thought that that was very messy.

Wendy (41:56.098)
Well, I think maybe because...

Kelli (41:56.238)
and I don't consider Kyle messy.

Wendy (41:59.822)
I mean, it's on camera. She's going to find out.

Kelli (42:01.762)
No, I know. But let Jennifer deal with that when Sutton sees it. I don't know. I didn't like it.

Lori (42:11.092)
Mm.

Wendy (42:13.998)
I mean, it's not a great look. It's not a great look.

Kelli (42:16.496)
It's not.

Lori (42:16.557)
I thought it was kind of fresh of Kathy Hilton when she said to Jennifer Tilly because Jennifer Tilly I think somebody got a drink or something and it came and Jennifer Tilly was like that looks good too and Kathy Hilton's like you want one of those too I thought that was fresh that was not nice mm-hmm yeah yeah it was not

Kelli (42:36.1)
Yeah. Well, cause did you see Jennifer's face? She was kind of like, what?

Lori (42:44.927)
It was not nice at all. I would have been like, yeah, bitch, maybe I do. Ew. How about you give me that one you just got right now?

Kelli (42:47.182)
Yeah. Right. Two. Give me two.

Kelli (42:54.093)
Exactly.

Lori (42:56.705)
You know? Back up.

Kelli (42:57.848)
Yeah. Yeah.

Wendy (43:00.866)
And then Amanda, when Kyle and Jennifer get up and go to the bathroom, Sutton's sitting there crying and Amanda looks at Sutton and she says, do you cry often?

Lori (43:11.981)
Oh my god, that was weird. Do you want to get killed? Do you want to die? Yeah. Whoa.

Kelli (43:12.538)
Yeah, that was weird. That was a weird question. Yeah.

Read the room, Amanda, read the room. Yeah, that was definitely odd.

Lori (43:26.369)
Yeah. And how about Sutton and her confessional saying, Amanda, like, don't use me to get attention. Like, don't, don't try and get me going to get yourself airtime.

Kelli (43:36.89)
Well.

Kelli (43:41.189)
And I'm not a fan of Sutton's, obviously, but I do agree. I think at this point, she's realizing what's going on. You brought it up last night. I told you I'm not interested in the details. You brought it up again this morning, and now you brought it up again at dinner. Like, that's enough now. I'm obviously not talking about it. You're talking about me, so end it.

Lori (43:49.357)
Mm.

Lori (44:01.303)
Yeah, yeah.

Wendy (44:02.934)
Definitely.

Lori (44:07.725)
Mm-hmm.

Wendy (44:09.356)
Yeah, mean, Dorit says to Sutton, I'm on your side. We've got your back. And I know Erica also agrees. So for those two to say that to Sutton, it really meant a lot to Sutton because she said, like, feel like now I'm finally, like they're finally accepting me.

Kelli (44:30.672)
Yeah, she's extremely, she's a very insecure woman. It's very sad. And I'm sure it's because of her divorce. Which, you know, and it's easy for me to say, but you're giving him all of the power if you're letting him affect you like that. If you're letting him wanting to end the marriage make you so insecure. I mean, I've been there, not.

Wendy (44:35.512)
Yeah.

Kelli (44:59.034)
from a divorce but I've been there from the end of a relationship so I'm you know I'm not judging her I'm just saying factually she's giving him the power

Lori (45:06.849)
Right. Well, I think this is a thing. think her father killed himself. She felt guilty about it and she has always wanted it was a sense of security for her. She always wanted a good, stable, secure marriage. She wanted that. He almost became her father in security wise. She wanted her husband. He was a person who was going to take care of her. She was never going to be alone.

Wendy (45:15.48)
That's it. It's...

Kelli (45:21.381)
Yeah.

Wendy (45:25.816)
Yes.

Kelli (45:29.135)
Yeah.

Lori (45:35.743)
And I think that she put a lot, she projected a lot into it so that when it ended, it was more than just a marriage. It had to do with all those things in her past and her mother shutting down and being emotionally unavailable. Like it's just a whole shit storm.

Kelli (45:47.886)
Yeah.

Kelli (45:57.061)
Yeah.

Wendy (45:57.442)
That's it. That's exactly it, because I was going to say the same thing. She's got childhood trauma that she's never healed from. And it's just snowballed. And like Laurie said, she was really counting on this marriage to be her safe place. And then she's

Kelli (46:02.81)
Yeah.

Lori (46:12.653)
I think that was a deal.

Kelli (46:12.772)
Yeah, was he an alcoholic, her father? I forget, was he an alcoholic?

Lori (46:16.597)
I think there were, yes, think there were some alcohol problems too. So it's just a whole big.

Wendy (46:17.004)
Yes. Yes. Yes.

Kelli (46:21.776)
now I'm going to feel bad for Sutton. For the love of God. See how it changes? I do. I do feel for her though. No, you're absolutely right. That definitely has to have something to do with it. But it's unfortunate that she didn't go into some kind of counseling or therapy prior to this.

Lori (46:24.429)
See that?

Lori (46:34.999)
I think that's her deal.

Lori (46:40.601)
Mm-hmm. Well, she probably felt that her maybe she felt her mom would judge her for it because maybe she thought well, you know, I should be fine. My mom's a therapist. How am I gonna go? Talk to somebody like maybe there's this whole thing with that Who knows?

Kelli (46:57.796)
Yeah. Yeah.

Wendy (47:02.19)
It's so interesting, you know, we've been watching these shows and recapping these shows. And Kelly and I have been doing this for years before we had the podcast. And the more we get into them and the more I learn about them and the more of the backstories I hear, it is astounding to me how many people have childhood trauma that has never been dealt with. I mean,

I watched the secret lives of Mormon wives, which you've never really talked about. the reunion, the first reunion, like the first reunion, like every reunion more trauma comes out that these people have been through. And then we just were recapping members only Palm Beach. And then the trauma that comes, like every episode, like it's just so interesting to me. Like,

Kelli (47:51.514)
Yes, yes.

I mean, Kyle and Kathy Richards, like if somebody really did a deep dive on their mom and how they were raised, mean, yeah.

Wendy (48:00.014)
100 % 100 %

Lori (48:01.927)
yeah, a mess, yeah. So then let's just say that that is one positive aspect of Housewives shows. Is that, you know, brings to light, you know, that they're human too and that...

Kelli (48:13.284)
Yeah.

Kelli (48:19.098)
Right.

Wendy (48:21.228)
Right. yep. I Mary Cosby, Whitney, Heather, like all of these housewives, I can think of so many of them that later on we find out. I mean, it's just, it's way more than people think. It's more common, I think, than uncommon. And we as a society, myself included, like we don't...

Lori (48:21.377)
Bad shit happens all the time to everybody. You know, nobody's immune. Nobody's immune.

Kelli (48:23.77)
Mm-hmm.

Lori (48:43.927)
Mm-hmm.

Kelli (48:44.239)
Right.

Wendy (48:49.41)
give people grace for that because we just assume that that that that didn't exist you know what mean like it

Lori (48:56.043)
Right.

Kelli (48:56.164)
Well, I think that we, our age, Gen X, we give grace because even though, fortunately for us, we all grew up in happy, healthy homes, both parents stayed married and, well, mine didn't, but they waited 30 years to get divorced. They gave it a good solid 30 years then decided it's not for them.

Wendy (49:01.613)
Mm-hmm.

Wendy (49:16.046)
They almost stayed married.

Lori (49:16.661)
Right, they did, right, they can't It was long enough, it was long enough.

Yeah. Yeah.

Kelli (49:26.22)
We're Gen X, so we, even the other stuff that we lived through, like literally our parents not knowing where we were, drinking in the woods, lighting fires in the woods. we did, so we, listen, no disrespect, but I think we're a very tough generation. So.

Wendy (49:31.18)
Right.

Lori (49:31.905)
We're like, yeah, we're like, okay, right. Yeah.

Wendy (49:34.892)
Right. Right. Right.

Wendy (49:43.886)
100%.

Lori (49:44.154)
thicker skin. And you know what else too is that you know you have to remember that people who are in the arts

Often.

Do understand what I'm trying to say, Wendy? Like, people who are in the arts, because that's what these women are. They're actresses. They're in the arts.

Kelli (50:08.91)
Well, not all of them though. mean, Bose isn't an actress. Bose isn't in the arts, you know?

Lori (50:10.733)
Mmm. I mean you got it.

Wendy (50:11.074)
I mean, Meredith is at its journey.

Lori (50:16.461)
Right, but you gotta be an actress to do that show. We're not watching people just randomly. Yeah, but it's not! It's not. It's not.

Kelli (50:24.516)
That's what we're supposed to be watching, though.

Wendy (50:26.72)
you

Lori (50:31.987)
It's not. So did you see the coming attractions with Amanda saying, don't touch me right now, please.

Wendy (50:42.242)
No.

Kelli (50:42.35)
Yes, who's she talking to?

Lori (50:42.765)
You see that? Dorit, because Dorit went to wipe it to your off her face and I was like, oh you nasty.

Kelli (50:48.09)
No

When I just said, who is she talking to? Joe thought I said, who are you talking to? He's like, me? it was Dorie. I did see her say that. Yeah.

Lori (50:57.837)
It was story. Yeah.

Wendy (51:05.09)
All right, so I'm looking forward to the next episode. Beverly Hills is still, right now, my favorite. Right now, at this present moment.

Kelli (51:13.156)
Yeah. yeah.

Kelli (51:17.242)
Potomac could end tomorrow. I'd be totally fine with it. Salt Lake's getting, you know, we're at the reunion, so, you know, it's gonna be entertaining. But Potomac's terrible right now.

Lori (51:19.851)
You'll be fine.

Lori (51:23.947)
Right, we've had enough. So on Watch What Happens Live, he had this guest on, Brad Goreski. Yeah, I had never seen him before. So I went and watched all his little impersonations. was he? he's funny.

Kelli (51:36.25)
Goreski yeah He was Rachel's those assistant He was on the original Rachel's reality TV show yeah No, they had a big falling out. I have no idea over what that's interesting who was he on with Dorie?

Wendy (51:48.492)
It didn't end well. It didn't end well.

Lori (51:56.824)
Doree, yeah, so I went and watched all his little, he does the housewife impressions, they're really funny. So anyway, he-

Wendy (51:58.092)
Yes.

Kelli (51:59.381)
I'm gonna have to watch this.

Wendy (52:03.266)
He, Andy asked, Andy asked shady questions to him.

Lori (52:06.955)
Yes, he very shady questions. huh. Yeah. about Jennifer Tilly saying, you know, that's why, what's her face, Garcelle left because it's all about Sutton. And he says, or I think maybe Dureet said, the truth always comes out. Yeah. And then, when asked about

Kelli (52:07.693)
he did? I'm gonna go watch it now.

Wendy (52:28.898)
Yeah, Dorit said that.

Kelli (52:31.502)
Meaning she agrees with that?

Wendy (52:33.986)
Yes.

Lori (52:34.157)
I guess so, yes. And then they asked, Oh, what does everybody think about Amanda's love of labels? And that Brad guy said, it's one thing to like labels. It's another thing to, you know, point them out every time you wear them. then supposedly Kyle and Dorit are not going to be getting along. They're going to be brawling hard.

Kelli (52:35.204)
Okay, okay, so do I, but okay.

Kelli (52:57.936)
Does she say where they're at now?

Wendy (53:00.994)
I don't think they're speaking now.

Lori (53:01.133)
She said it gets worse before it gets better. That's what she said.

Wendy (53:07.128)
She did say that, yeah.

Kelli (53:08.656)
But I I agree Wendy. I don't know why I must have seen something or heard something, but it doesn't seem like they're in a good place right now. They haven't filmed the reunion yet.

Lori (53:18.369)
Right.

Wendy (53:18.616)
Well, I think last time Kyle was on, no, I think last time Kyle was on Watch What Happens Live, it came out that her and Dorit were not speaking.

Kelli (53:27.183)
Yeah.

Lori (53:28.363)
Yeah, so when asked about Kyle saying that she thinks Dorit is angry at PK and taking it out on her, Dorit said some really cryptic shit. She responds, it's very clear to me what Kyle is doing. And just left it at that. was like,

Kelli (53:48.538)
with the whole PK thing.

Lori (53:49.974)
Yeah, I guess so.

Wendy (53:52.128)
Andy also asked what she thought about the fact that Mo and Kyle were together for New Year's in Colorado. And Dorit's response was, if Kyle was back together with Mo, she'd be screaming it from the rooftop.

Lori (54:08.877)
Which is true.

Wendy (54:12.046)
So I thought, yeah, let's.

Kelli (54:12.484)
I agree. I just think that that's what they do at the holidays and this is what they did. And their daughters are the one, one of the daughters put it on their social media, but okay, you're your parents for the holiday. have every right to put whatever the hell you want on social media. So, you know, and of course the media turned it into something more, but yeah, I agree with that. I think she'd be screaming it from the rooftops as well. I think that's what we all agree. We think that's what she really wants.

Wendy (54:18.147)
Yeah.

Wendy (54:24.962)
Right.

Right.

Kelli (54:41.686)
I hope it happens.

Wendy (54:43.585)
I do too.

Lori (54:43.997)
We'll see what happens, we'll see what goings on in ROAR.

Kelli (54:48.453)
Yeah.

Wendy (54:48.686)
Okay, until next time, thank you for watching and listening. Please go over to YouTube, specifically YouTube, and subscribe. Bye.

Kelli (54:58.446)
Bye.

Lori (54:58.827)
Bye.
