Wendy (00:01.238)
Welcome to We Wine Whenever, I'm Wendy.

Kelli (00:03.705)
I'm Kelly.

Wendy (00:05.336)
We are talking about Real Housewives of Atlanta, season 16, episode number nine. Can't believe it's nine. Blame it on the Henny.

Kelli (00:14.278)
Yeah, I can't believe it either.

Wendy (00:20.258)
You know, that's their thing, that's Porsche's thing. So I will say that the way this episode started off, it was so damn confusing. So it's...

Kelli (00:23.12)
That is their thing. Yeah.

Kelli (00:32.87)
Well, all I could focus on is the fact that Kelly said that her dog had false eyelashes on.

Wendy (00:39.237)
that's so funny.

Kelli (00:40.658)
I couldn't get past it. I'm like coloring the dog. Okay, I get especially if the dog got stolen or lost or something I get that nails done All right, we're kind of pushing it with the nails, but I'll I'll allow it but the lashes I mean That's I mean you might as well just open your window and just throw the money out. Just throw the money out the window

Wendy (00:47.885)
Right.

Wendy (00:58.552)
That's crazy.

Wendy (01:03.138)
Yeah, no, I agree. I agree. You know, she was on, did you watch the after show? So she was, you really do, she was on the after show and she was talking about that. And she was explaining like she did already that her dog got stolen. But what I didn't understand is that they stole her dog, that's why she started dying at pink, or it was purple this time, but they stole her dog to breed it, because it hadn't been fixed yet.

Kelli (01:09.712)
I did not. I know I really got to start doing that.

Wendy (01:32.172)
and those dogs are really expensive.

Kelli (01:35.439)
Gosh, that's awful. I hope she got the dog back before they violated her. Okay, good.

Wendy (01:36.842)
I know, I was like, my gosh. She did, she did, she did. Well, I don't know, they may have violated her, but she wasn't pregnant, but whatever. Like, yeah, and I imagine she probably got the dog fixed shortly after that too. Yeah. But what I didn't like about it was it starts out with like Cynthia, she's like, the end of the trip was a little bit weird. She went to bed early.

Kelli (01:47.794)
I'd

Kelli (01:51.74)
Sure.

Wendy (02:03.158)
So she's got to break out the Bailey PI, private investigator. So she was going around talking to all the women, but it really wasn't in order. And like you see her with this one and then she was with that one and then she's getting this part of the story. And I'm like, this is so confusing the way they edit it. Like if you could have just given me each sit down.

Kelli (02:12.327)
Right.

Kelli (02:22.416)
Yes.

Kelli (02:25.863)
Right.

Wendy (02:26.402)
And they were at all different times, because she was wearing all different things. And I was like so confused by the whole thing. But what I got from it was she talked to Angela and she gets her side of it. And Angela says, you know, what we knew that she heard voices outside of her room. And she heard her name and she heard Charles name and she heard Big Bird. So she put on her pajamas and, you know, she went downstairs.

Then she goes and she talks to Portia and she doesn't remember much because she was drunk. Basically, she doesn't remember what she said. And Cindy's like, well, is it true that you said you were going to F Charles? And Portia said, maybe. I don't remember. And she said, well, then I guess it was the Hennessy.

Kelli (03:03.442)
Danny.

Wendy (03:16.622)
And Cynthia's like, well, the Hennessy, that's not good. And Portia's like, no, the Hennessy, it saved me because I was about to blow that bitch all the way up, meaning Angela. I'm like, I know. I was like, what? Then she said, I would never F anyone's husband. I mean, come on. Really?

Kelli (03:26.128)
No she wasn't. She's all talk, Portia. She's all talk.

Kelli (03:36.314)
You just did!

Wendy (03:39.63)
So then Shemeah gets all bent out of shape because Angela texted her, after witnessing the disrespectful behavior against me and my husband, there's nothing more to be said, dot, dot, dot. And then she like, they like garble it, fake ass sisterhood, in quotes, dot, dot, dot, and is clear that our morals and values don't align, dot, dot, dot. It's all good though, be blessed. What?

Kelli (04:07.506)
I like Angela.

Wendy (04:09.646)
That's, I'll tell you what.

Kelli (04:12.22)
mean, she's expecting Shemeah to call Portia out. That's her best friend.

Wendy (04:17.954)
Well, that's the thing. And that's kind of how I felt.

Kelli (04:19.302)
She didn't actually F your husband. She just said she better watch her eye well. Like I would imagine that if it were a physical situation where Shemeah saw Portia coming on to Charles Oakley, she would intervene. But what do you expect her to do right now? That's her best friend.

Wendy (04:23.959)
Right.

Wendy (04:32.28)
Right.

Exactly. you know, so she didn't have like, that's how that ended with them at this point, right? So then Cynthia and her confessional, she said, listen, after midnight, the only thing that's open is legs, jails, and ERs. And that's why you need to take your ass to bed early. Cause that's where she was. That was good. That was good. And

Kelli (04:42.962)
Mm-hmm.

Kelli (04:57.81)
Oh, that was good. Yeah, that was good.

Wendy (05:04.724)
know, Drew was gone, so she didn't really have anything to do with this, and...

Kelli (05:07.996)
Did Drew really leave when she said she was gonna leave? Okay.

Wendy (05:11.062)
I think she did because we didn't see her. Yeah, I think she did.

Kelli (05:14.736)
Okay.

Wendy (05:16.906)
So while Cynthia is gathering her information for her investigation, she announces that she's going to be doing the baili queue and that this year she wants to do it in honor of Juneteenth. Because normally she does it 4th of July, but now she wants to do it and that's like the theme of the party. And then we see Kelly's birthday party for Cha-Cha.

you know, like you said, ridiculous. And she even had a party planner. She had a party planner.

Kelli (05:49.554)
I mean, I just don't understand people. know people love their animals, it's not, I mean, she's got four daughters.

Wendy (05:57.826)
I know. I mean, that was a nice party she had for the 17 year old, but I mean, I'm having a birthday party Saturday for my son and his 18th birthday and Mother's Day. We're doing a combo party. But guess who the party planner is? Yeah, yeah, me. I mean, these are like real people I'm having if we're not dogs. Guess who's doing the cooking and the cleaning? Well, I'm not doing the cooking, but I am doing the cleaning.

Kelli (06:01.618)
Yeah.

Kelli (06:10.266)
Nice. You.

Kelli (06:19.41)
Right

Kelli (06:24.826)
Right, Bill's cooking.

Wendy (06:27.928)
Bill's cooking. Then we see Britt is telling Kelly that her mom is moving in. She's telling her this at the party and she's gonna be moving in in the next 30 to 45 days, which is a huge jump because when we started out this season, she was really not even in a good place with her mom.

Kelli (06:52.722)
But remember that one conversation she had with Mike? They were talking about her mom moving in, because she was talking about the bedroom placement and not wanting her mom to be so close. But you're right, shortly thereafter we find out that she wasn't even on speaking terms with her mother. Yeah.

Wendy (06:59.978)
Yes.

Wendy (07:06.446)
Right, right. And that her sister's coming over to help pack and she had gone to dinner. Yes, yes, which is hard. It's hard, that's hard. But at least now she's talking to her sister and after the whole incident with Kenya, her family's a little bit closer. They were there, they stood behind her, which I think is great.

Kelli (07:13.02)
They're packing up the family home. Not sad. yeah, yeah.

Kelli (07:32.708)
Yeah. Yeah.

Wendy (07:35.512)
Kelly tells Britt about Cynthia having the Bailey cue and that she has this prophet coming. So the interesting thing about this, they were talking a lot about the prophet on the after show.

I, after they started talking about it, Drew had a prophet. That guy that used to come and like guide her and let her know what was going on. because, you know, Drew's mother is a preacher.

Kelli (07:58.598)
Mm-hmm.

Kelli (08:05.671)
I didn't know that.

Wendy (08:07.052)
yeah, don't you remember like an early, well you didn't always watch Potomac, did you?

Kelli (08:11.91)
I took a break from Atlanta. I took a break.

Wendy (08:13.706)
Yeah, so Drew's mom is a preacher because in early days when know her and Ralph were there, her mom was very much involved in the spiritual side of things. And I didn't, I forgot to be honest with you how religious you know Drew is. So when she showed up there and the prophet was there and she said she's going to do a private read, she really does believe in it. And she said that

Kelli (08:33.232)
Right.

Wendy (08:43.19)
on the after show, what the prophet told her was very accurate, but she didn't want it there because her enemies would weaponize the information.

Kelli (08:53.988)
I I see it. I didn't think it was extra like Portia said. If you truly believe in that, you're gonna, right, and you're gonna heed whatever this person tells you, then yeah, you're gonna wanna do it in a private setting.

Wendy (08:56.374)
Yeah. I didn't either. didn't eat. Mm-hmm. It's a private thing.

Wendy (09:07.266)
Right.

Wendy (09:10.818)
Yes, and then Cynthia was saying, because they were asking her, like she talks to this prophet like twice a year. And then sometimes a prophet just reaches out to her and says, like, I need to talk to you. she feels things. I thought it was very interesting. I mean, basically, I'm thinking it's a psychic, but for whatever reason, I guess religious reasons maybe, or you know.

Kelli (09:25.82)
That's interesting.

Kelli (09:37.745)
Yeah.

Wendy (09:39.542)
I mean, Drew really believes it. she can, like, in her and Cynthia, feel from what they said about it, like, they really take it spiritually what this person says to them. Whereas when Shamiah was talking about it, Shamiah was saying that, you know, it wasn't so accurate. I think Kelly said it was completely accurate. But Shamiah said, like, the prophet said that I needed to, you know,

watch my money. So she's like, so I went home and I said, I got to see the books, I got to see the accountant. And she said, well, the accountant's accountant, like, it's fine, my money's fine. But what was she trying to tell me? Does that mean I should stop spending or maybe I should, I don't know. But, know, I mean, I guess if.

Kelli (10:20.018)
Yeah. Well, I didn't lie. I I know we're going to get there, but I didn't like that. The prophet, of course, she says something about Angela's marriage. Like to me, that was like a total setup.

Wendy (10:31.873)
Yeah, well, what

Kelli (10:32.914)
Like where the teacup reader told, Jennifer she was going to get some endorsements.

Wendy (10:35.732)
Yes, but you know what,

Wendy (10:40.704)
Well, Kelly's, don't know why I'm, I've jumped to it now. we're there, but Kelly said that, you know, and what she said about her ex husband and the car and he, she's like, that was spot on. She's like, that was totally spot on. She could not have Googled that. Like some of the stuff that she said to me, there's no way that she could have known that. Like that, like that's kind of like, you know, kind of crazy. All right. I don't know why.

Kelli (10:51.312)
Yeah.

Yeah, that was crazy.

Kelli (11:02.95)
Right.

Kelli (11:08.07)
Yeah.

Wendy (11:10.134)
jumped that. I just thought the whole thing was interesting and then I you know remember that Drew had had a profit. So then Portia brings a puppy home for PJ. I mean what?

Kelli (11:21.606)
But PJ did not seem too excited about that puppy, did she?

Wendy (11:24.878)
Not really. Not really. mean, no, not considered.

Kelli (11:28.316)
feel like my kids at 21 and 17 would be jumping up and down happy if I brought a puppy home.

Wendy (11:33.155)
my, my kids would too.

Kelli (11:35.172)
Yeah. And she was just like, cool.

Wendy (11:38.977)
Yeah.

So, Portia's telling her sister and her mom what had happened in Nashville. they're at their mom's house too. She's at her mom's house. And she's having Dennis come over because she wants to let Dennis know about...

Kelli (11:51.058)
Mm-hmm.

Wendy (12:05.838)
The, what is she calling her? The... Yeah, oh, Pear.

Kelli (12:08.818)
Well, she got a nanny, right?

she's calling her that.

Wendy (12:14.124)
an au pair. So yeah, so that's why she did this at her mother's house, which seemed odd to me. Like, why is she doing this at her mother's house? you know why? She wasn't allowed to film. Remember Simon?

Kelli (12:24.336)
I don't know because then they gotta bring...

Kelli (12:29.311)
that's right, she's not allowed to film in Simon's house. That's why.

Wendy (12:31.886)
Right. That's why. I totally, I'm like, this isn't making sense, but now that it just occurred to me.

Kelli (12:40.115)
I got- I'm so sorry, she's fucking screaming out there.

Wendy (12:47.758)
What's the matter, you all right?

Kelli (12:48.976)
No, I'm fine, there's a big bug in the kitchen, so Tessa's freaking out.

Wendy (12:53.333)
okay.

Kelli (12:56.306)
Let me go see something real quick. I'm so sorry. I'll just leave it running and edit it out. Unbelievable.

Wendy (12:58.22)
Yeah, no, that's okay.

Yeah, it's

Kelli (14:22.962)
you

Ridiculous. No, it's probably a wasp. This time of year, we start getting wasps in our basement and they get upstairs somehow. So I have to call that exterminator that we used last year, Lori's exterminator. I meant to call him last week and I just totally forgot and then it started raining and we didn't have the problem. But it's probably a wasp, which really sucks because now I gotta go fucking find it.

Wendy (14:27.15)
Did you get the bug?

Kelli (14:52.666)
And when we're done here, because we can't go to sleep with the wasps flying around the house. I hate this. I should have called the damn exterminator. Cause once we, you know, knock on wood, once we did that last year, it was fine. No more wasps. We didn't have any crickets in the basement. Yeah. All the carpenter bees went away.

Wendy (14:57.764)
God.

Wendy (15:07.18)
No more wasps.

Wendy (15:11.64)
That's good.

Wendy (15:15.618)
That's good.

Kelli (15:16.796)
So I gotta call them. So sorry about that.

Wendy (15:18.552)
Okay, so that's all right. So that's why they were at Portia's mom's house is because they couldn't film. All right. So she wants to tell Dennis about the au pair and the au pair is coming over and she's going to be living with her and she is from South Africa. She seems very young, didn't she?

Kelli (15:25.564)
That is

Kelli (15:38.62)
Mm-hmm.

Kelli (15:42.403)
my god, I have the same thing written down. She's so young. She's so young.

Wendy (15:47.118)
Yeah. Yeah, I thought that. I mean, she looked to me like she was like 15, maybe 17. Like, she looked really young.

Kelli (15:54.193)
Yeah.

I mean, she could be 17. She could have come over here at 17.

Wendy (16:00.222)
Yeah, I guess it's possible. But whatever.

Kelli (16:02.704)
Yeah. I'll tell you what though, it's a shame that Dennis and Portia can't figure their shit out because they are hysterical together. Like they have such a good banter, don't they?

Wendy (16:11.64)
They do have a good banter. They do. They do. So then, know, Porsche said she wants to chat with Dennis about her finding out that he had filmed with Drew behind her back. And he said that out of respect, Drew is not even signing with him. So she's not doing business with him anymore, it sounds like, right?

Kelli (16:33.34)
That doesn't make sense just from the TikTok they just did together. Given away at that he's counting out a thousand dollars.

Wendy (16:37.402)
didn't see. yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, this was probably a year ago. I mean, I don't know. Porsche says he, you know, she just wants a friendship with him and you know, she wants him to pick the family first. That's all, which I get that. I get that.

Kelli (16:44.41)
Right. Yeah, so maybe things have changed.

Kelli (16:56.454)
And she says to her mom, he's over here backdooring housewives. So I had to look that up because I'm like, what is she saying? And basically it just says that they're doing something in secret.

Wendy (17:02.413)
Yeah.

Wendy (17:08.428)
Yeah, yeah.

Kelli (17:09.916)
But she's like, okay, Portia, you said too much.

Wendy (17:12.63)
Yeah. So I skipped this part, but we'll go back there. So Shemeah goes to see her surrogate, her former surrogate, Shadina, and she's helping her get another surrogate, Asha? Aisha? A-S-H-A-A-S-H-A-A-SHA? I don't know. I think it's Asha. And she meets her and then Gerald gets to FaceTime to meet her. She was in another one. She's so tiny.

Kelli (17:22.428)
Yeah.

Kelli (17:29.58)
Mmm. Yeah, I don't know how to pronounce that but yeah

Wendy (17:42.54)
Like she's so tiny. But we find out that she's got all the medical tests done and now they're just waiting for the legal stuff to finalize and then they're gonna be ready to implant an embryo in her.

Kelli (17:45.521)
I know.

Kelli (17:56.518)
And I guess they know, like I never knew this, but I guess you can, you you have so many embryos and you know what's male and what's a male. So they can really try for the boy. Yeah, amazing.

Wendy (18:02.816)
Yes, they like raid them. Yes.

Yes, yes, yes, that is amazing. And Angela's and Charles are working out together and she's saying what a drill sergeant he is and I can see that. And she starts telling him about the Nashville trip and Angela says,

Kelli (18:27.068)
She said, let me ask my husband what he says, because he'll tell me what the haters are saying. That was so funny.

Wendy (18:31.65)
That's right. I actually like their relationship too. Like I do, I like it. Like, you know, she's like, listen, I'm married to an ex-MBA player. I know what I got. He knows what he's got. We don't have a problem with it. Let the streets say what the streets say. And F you all bitches, right? And he's kind of the same way.

Kelli (18:36.376)
I do too!

Kelli (18:50.098)
Great.

Exactly, exactly.

I mean, if they truly, truly had something to hide, I don't think they'd be on this show right now.

Wendy (19:02.814)
No. No, I don't either.

Wendy (19:07.982)
And Angela tells them what they said about the woman in New York and Charles says he wants tickets to the show between Angela and Britt. Because Britt's the one who said it.

Kelli (19:22.332)
Yeah, Brits, she's gonna be a one and done. She's not coming back.

Wendy (19:24.512)
Yeah. Yeah, she's really, she's really not doing too well. Then we see her, she's packing up with her sister at her mom's house. And you know, you could see that they're very, I mean, her sister Cher is so upset her mom is selling the house and.

Kelli (19:40.885)
my gosh, she's like yelling at, they call the other sisters, she's like yelling at her.

Wendy (19:44.778)
I know, I know. And then poor grandma's there.

Kelli (19:47.238)
Like everyone processes differently. Yeah, grandma said I'm all straight.

Wendy (19:50.924)
Yeah, stop acting a fool.

Kelli (19:52.677)
Everybody needs to stop acting a fool. Good advice, Grandma. You couldn't have said it at a better time or to more deserving people to hear.

Wendy (19:54.818)
That's right. Exactly.

Wendy (20:02.274)
Yeah, yeah, I totally agree. Then we see Bailey's getting ready for her party.

Kelli (20:09.242)
It always rains when Cynthia has a barbecue. Right?

Wendy (20:11.87)
I know she really yes yes

Kelli (20:15.728)
I maybe, yeah, well, I guess, you know, Juneteenth, you gotta deal with that time of year, but I don't know, poor Cynthia, it's always raining at her barbeque, or her bailey queues.

Wendy (20:25.92)
Yes, it is always raining. So then shortly after the doctor, Natasha Leith shows up, the prophet, and she immediately feels Brit as soon as she walks in, which was a little odd.

But you know, she said, yeah, she, mean, of the lady, she was the first person there. Yeah, so I guess so. That, you know, it's time for her to, to choose herself and not, you know, other people. I didn't know she had a product called Bare Naked. I feel like there's already a product called Bare Naked.

Kelli (20:44.102)
Well, she was the first person there, Brit, wasn't she?

Kelli (20:49.252)
Yeah. Yeah.

Kelli (21:04.941)
I did too. And I don't remember her ever talking about it.

Wendy (21:08.394)
I don't either. I don't know. We'll have to look that up. Okay.

Then, like I said, the prophet tells Kelly about her ex-husband with the car. He was being vindictive. And she said it was for her 10th wedding anniversary that he gave her the G-Wagon and then he sold it.

Kelli (21:31.129)
yeah.

That's my dream car.

Wendy (21:34.272)
what's yeah so then Shemeah shows up and I thought she was the one that was perfectly in the theme with her African clothes because her husband is of Nigerian descent.

Kelli (21:46.16)
Yes. You don't invite me to a barbecue on Juneteenth and think I'm not wearing my African clothes. by the way, I just Googled, bare naked Brit 80 and absolutely nothing comes up.

Wendy (21:52.354)
There you go. There you go.

They're naked.

Wendy (22:01.524)
interesting. But doesn't anything come up for bare naked?

Kelli (22:05.456)
Just bare naked?

Wendy (22:07.053)
Yeah.

Kelli (22:15.206)
Bear Naked Kitchen in Tampa, Florida, Bear Naked Bakery in Plainview, New York, Bear Naked Bakery in Belmore, New York, Bear Naked Bakery.

Wendy (22:25.622)
Okay, so I guess it's not what I was thinking. So then the prophet says, as women get consumed with work in our lives and sometimes we forget to be sexy for our men. And Angela said, where's my phone? Let me order up some Victoria's Secret. And then it's cleaning up the

Kelli (22:28.594)
No.

Kelli (22:48.978)
She says Charles's love language is cleaning the house. Yes, Charles. Yes.

Wendy (22:53.506)
Damn house. was like, yes, that's, yes, I'm there for that. Angela said, we're good. The prophet says, know, for Portia, he's got his eyes on something. She said, well, is it the car? Is it a person? And we don't know.

Kelli (22:59.398)
Me too. That's my love language too.

Wendy (23:22.008)
profit tells Jamea 2025 is her money making year. And sometimes it's important to lay low. Drew shows up late again, just wanted to note that.

Kelli (23:27.43)
Yeah.

Kelli (23:36.604)
Yes! Yes!

What is with that?

Wendy (23:43.414)
I don't know. I don't know, but maybe we'll find out. Like maybe this is like part of it.

Kelli (23:48.466)
She's the Dory of Atlanta.

Wendy (23:50.711)
Yeah.

Kelli (23:52.274)
That's so interesting.

Wendy (23:54.318)
Angela says, Porsche gets nothing from me until we address the Nashville situation. Kelly asks Angela how she's doing, hasn't seen her since Nashville. Angela says, I'm in need of a good vibe. And then Britt says, well, you get what you put out there. Angela says, so let's talk about it.

Kelli (24:18.726)
Why Britt keeps coming for Angela and I don't know why because she shuts her down every time You're not getting the best of this woman. You're just not Britt. You don't you don't have the mental capacity to do it

Wendy (24:20.801)
I know.

Wendy (24:24.748)
Yeah, she's not good at it.

No, no.

Yep. So Angela says, have something you want to tell me because the energy and Britt said, well, you can hear the words coming out of my mouth. Britt said, it sounds like you need to use that mouth more often. Angela said to Britt, not as much as yours with the stretch marks around it. was like, whoa. And then she called her. Then she flat out said, she called her a whore. You're a whore. And I was like, whoa.

Kelli (24:43.59)
Mm-hmm.

Kelli (24:49.689)
not the stretch mark.

Kelli (24:56.112)
You're a whore.

Kelli (25:01.872)
and then Brit brought up the baby.

Wendy (25:02.144)
And yeah, then, yep, Drew steps away and Britt's yelling, does the whore know about that baby? And Angela said, who's the baby? You better come with receipts. Like, that's what I like. Right. Well, you know.

Kelli (25:17.442)
If there is a baby, Angela should just say it. Like just &M'er, just say it before she can say it.

Wendy (25:25.09)
Yeah, but you know what? Because I don't think they have the receipts. Or she's, you know, I don't know. Listen.

Kelli (25:34.546)
I mean, if there's a baby, to me, the Wendy Williams story, if that's factual, because that's alleged, or I think she said, I don't know. But to me, it sounds like there is a baby and they're taking care of the baby. So if that's the case, then for sure just say it.

Wendy (25:54.42)
But I feel like Angela doesn't, and I agree with her. I don't think she needs to say it.

Kelli (25:59.834)
She doesn't need to. And I guess, you know.

Wendy (26:04.032)
I think the way she shuts it down is, is fun. And she shuts it down every time.

Kelli (26:06.416)
She does shut it down.

Yeah, these women have the best comebacks. Like, I don't think I'd be that quick on my feet.

Wendy (26:12.141)
Yeah.

Wendy (26:16.974)
And Shemeah said in her confessional, if someone said to me that my husband had a side baby, it probably hurt my feelings. But I'd probably say to her, like, we've been trying to have a baby forever. Can we have it? Can we have the baby? Cynthia comes in and rings the bell and says, come on, like, we're going to move on. Drew asked Angela if she's OK. And...

Kelli (26:25.958)
Can we have the baby? How can I get the baby?

Wendy (26:46.145)
Angela didn't really answer her.

Kelli (26:48.86)
Hmm. Here's my thing with Drew though. Angela is riding pretty hard for her and I don't feel like Drew's giving it back.

Wendy (26:52.525)
Mm-hmm.

Wendy (26:58.86)
Well, when that whole thing started between Angela and when Angela called her a whore, actually Drew backed up. She backed out of the conversation. Because I have noticed this with Drew, like she doesn't go low like that. She really doesn't. She doesn't. And it could be because her mother is a preacher. So she kind of backed up. And it was obvious that Angela didn't need any help.

Kelli (27:16.772)
No. No.

Kelli (27:29.616)
I know, I just feel like, I don't know, just, feel like Angela's like riding harder for the friendship, but whatever. You know, she doesn't need the help, Angela doesn't need the help, but maybe that's why Drew's just not getting involved.

Wendy (27:37.194)
I don't know. No.

Yeah.

Then Cynthia calls out Portia and Angela to come to her private room and to sit down and talk, because she wants them to iron things out. And they're talking about it. And Portia's like, you invited, no, Angela said, you're acting this way because I invited Drew and you didn't want her there, but you you said it was OK. And Angela said, what's it?

You know, like, what's it all about? Like, why are you talking about Charles? Like, why does one have anything to do with the other? And basically, I mean, they just squashed it. You know, they just kind of both apologized. Like, Angela apologized, and then Portia said, ditto. And they're like, okay, we're moving on.

Kelli (28:28.775)
Right.

Kelli (28:32.316)
But, Portia did call her Dumbo with her big ears. Like she'll never, yeah, she'll never say, she's so, like, she's, I don't wanna say the word, I don't like the word, but, she doesn't have the balls to say it to anybody's face. She's, you know, yeah.

Wendy (28:35.764)
And yes she did, in the confessional.

Wendy (28:44.536)
Yeah.

Wendy (28:50.796)
Yeah, she says it in her confessional, but not to her face. And then Shemeah wants closure over the text message. And, you know, even in the after show, she's like, you know, I can't believe she forgave Portia and she didn't me, but Angela was saying to her, listen, your best friend said that I expected you as a married woman. you know, Shemeah is like, listen, I'm not fighting these fights.

Like you said, maybe if she was effing him, Shemeah would have said something. But it's, right. Right. I did not think that Shemeah was wrong in this. think that Angela was asking too much of her because it wasn't her fight to fight. they were all drinking. Like they were all drunk.

Kelli (29:21.938)
Maybe if like physically she was coming on to woman furnished to me and she'd be like, well, you know, that's that's my friend's husband. So

I don't either.

Kelli (29:41.126)
Yeah, for sure. Like, nobody was thinking clearly. I mean, no, Portia shouldn't have said it, but she didn't say it sober. If she said it sober, it would have been way more fucked up.

Wendy (29:46.562)
Right.

Wendy (29:54.102)
Yes, absolutely, absolutely. I mean, she doesn't even remember saying it.

Wendy (30:00.756)
And then Cynthia's, she wants to play the game to see who knows the most about Juneteenth.

Kelli (30:04.782)
Ugh. I mean, at least this was a decent game and they weren't talking about each other.

Wendy (30:10.126)
my god, yes, thank god, right?

Kelli (30:12.38)
But when they flash back to that underground railroad scene with Portia.

Wendy (30:16.245)
So funny.

Wendy (30:20.334)
you

Kelli (30:20.572)
Fidget Girls, where were you in history class? my God.

Wendy (30:23.338)
I know. And I remember Cynthia's like, my God, her grandfather is turning over. It's crazy.

Kelli (30:27.516)
Okay.

Kelli (30:33.052)
Holy shit. Damn.

Wendy (30:36.942)
So, Shemeah and Angela do agree to like just move forward. It's not a... No, no, it's not. But they don't show us next week's episode, they just tell us what's to come. So I'm not sure if it's gonna be finally Phaedra or not, because we do see that...

Kelli (30:43.738)
Yeah, this is not friendship ending stuff here.

Kelli (30:58.682)
Yeah, I think that people are probably getting tired of the same damn fight over and over again. Everybody's coming for Angela, I feel like.

Wendy (31:04.822)
Yeah. Yeah. I mean, we're in season nine and we still haven't seen Phaedra and we lost Kenya at season at episode. I said in episode nine, we lost Kenya at four, think, wasn't it? Four, we lost her. So we've now had five episodes of just annoyingness, to be honest.

Kelli (31:13.872)
I'm moving my, yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

Kelli (31:24.068)
Right, and it's five episodes of Portia saying she's gonna get over the whole Drew filming with Dennis thing, but she's clearly not. Her talking mad shit about Angela and her confessionals, but not saying any of that to her face. know, Brit coming for Angela and getting shut down every fucking time. So, people.

Wendy (31:38.445)
Right.

Wendy (31:44.62)
Yeah, and even, I'm sorry, go ahead. Even on Watch What Happens Live, as Portia said, she doesn't believe that Dennis and Drew really were together. Like, right, why are we still talking about it?

Kelli (31:47.739)
No, that's okay.

Kelli (31:54.556)
That's what I mean. what, like, what are you doing? You're perpetuating it even more than them now.

Wendy (32:00.826)
Exactly. Exactly. I don't know.

Kelli (32:04.784)
Yeah, so maybe they think that just to keep people coming back, they gotta show the upcoming scenes with Phaedra. Because other than that, it is kind of getting boring.

Wendy (32:13.218)
Phaedra, yeah.

Wendy (32:17.516)
Yeah, I agree. I agree.

Kelli (32:19.164)
Just because it's the same thing over every week, every week. Like Beverly Hills was the same thing. It's like, right, can we move on now?

Wendy (32:27.692)
Yeah, I guess we're gonna have to wait and see what happens.

Kelli (32:31.15)
Something's gonna happen with Charles Oakley though. You saw that coming up?

Wendy (32:34.878)
Yeah. Yeah, and that was with Dennis, right? Wasn't he yelling at Dennis?

Kelli (32:39.182)
I thought it was Porsche, but is it Dennis? Okay.

Wendy (32:41.462)
no, I think it's Dennis. Because Portia and her confessional says, Ooh, do I have any pearls to clutch? I think it was because I think Dennis might be the one who is running his mouth. I think.

Kelli (32:47.906)
yeah, yeah, What's he on a dentist for?

Kelli (32:57.52)
Well, it makes sense, because he's the thirstiest one of them all.

Wendy (33:00.328)
Right, I think he might be the one who's running his mouth about the baby. Because I think the baby comes up again.

Kelli (33:03.596)
Interesting.

Wendy (33:08.526)
Yeah. And listen, I'm kind of here for it if it is Dennis because Charles is so big and Dennis is so little. Like, I'm just a little, I'm a little bit here for that. yes.

Kelli (33:14.071)
so little.

I'm here for it too. Listen, I want more Charles Oakley. So any way I can get more Charles Oakley on my screen, I'm here for it.

Wendy (33:29.74)
Yeah, I agree. I agree.

Kelli (33:31.314)
Speaking of, did you watch the next game last night? Game one?

Wendy (33:34.87)
I did not.

Kelli (33:36.976)
They came back from a 20 point deficit and won in overtime against the Celtics who are, were highly, know, favored.

Wendy (33:44.981)
Wow.

Wendy (33:49.666)
Favored. Yeah. Wow.

Kelli (33:52.466)
I was talking to my dad for most of the game and then Eric called, he was out, he called me on my way home so I had to hang up with my dad and then Eric and I watched it together at the end.

Wendy (34:03.392)
It's funny because Andrew, we gave up the TV for Andrew to watch. He's like, I've been waiting for it all day. I've been waiting for it all day. And I was so tired by the time I came back from picking up Matt. I was like, I'm done. I'm out.

Kelli (34:08.444)
Yeah.

Kelli (34:14.65)
Yeah, it was really a great game. I mean, they were down by 20 in the third. I'm like, fuck, this is over. But it wasn't.

Wendy (34:22.912)
It's this is we're at the like best of seven. Is that where we're at? So when's the next game and where is it? Is it a new?

Kelli (34:26.266)
Yes, still best of seven, yeah.

Tomorrow night they're in Boston again. It goes 2-2-1-1-1. So tomorrow night they're back in Boston for game two, and then they'll go to New York for two. Then they play again on Saturday at 3.30, which hopefully, I gotta look at the schedule, hopefully I'm out of the salon early enough. But Eric and I have dinner reservations at 6.30. So, but the game should be over by then. Yeah, so.

Wendy (34:35.181)
Okay.

Wendy (34:49.694)
okay. Yeah, yeah, yeah. All right, well until next time, thank you for watching. Yes, go Knicks. Hopefully we'll have more to report next time. Bye.

Kelli (34:58.576)
Go Nix.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Bye.

Kelli (35:10.288)
at Eric's home maybe he... Did I stop it? it didn't stop.
